"There are cemeteries that are lonely,

graves full of bones that do not make a sound,

the heart moving through a tunnel,

in it darkness, darkness, darkness,

like a shipwreck we die going into ourselves,

as though we were drowning inside our hearts." ~PABLO NERUDA

No One's Pov

'Huh?' Lyall thought as she slowly opened her eyes. Her body felt numb as she found she couldn't move her body. It was like her mind was aware but her body wouldn't respond.

The nurses gasped and quickly ran to find the doctor. Lyall's eyes followed the figures, her mouth slowly opening to say something but she began to cough and gag the moment she opened her mouth. All the pain slammed into her body like a ton of bricks. It was like her nerves were introduced to pain for the first time and it had to go through her entire body… every limb… joint… nerve…and muscle.

She screamed in agony… or at least she tried too. Only bubbles came out of her mouth as she screamed and the green liquid kept entering her everytime she opened her mouth. 'I'm downing! I'm dying!' She thought. Lyall raised her arms and banged against the glass. To get help? To break the glass? It didn't matter. All that mattered is that she was still alive and she wanted to stay alive, with everything that she went through she deserved to live.

"Ja, Major. Alles läuft nach Plan. Ja... Ja... Sie kommen, um unseren Prozess selbst zu sehen? Oh! natürlich Major! Es wäre eine Ehre. Ja, auf Wiedersehen, Herr." (Yes, Major. Everything is going to plan. Yes... Yes... You are coming to see our process yourself? Oh! of course Major! It would be an honor. Yes, goodbye sir.)

The Doctor gently placed the phone to the receiver and bit his gloved finger in pure anxiety. "This is most unfortunate." He mumbled as he paced around his study. After all the chaos and the unauthorization of using Mina's bone marrow on their beautiful new weapon was crossing too many lines in the Majors book.

"Maybe if I explained that the subject was about to expire and that without Mina?" He shook his head, already knowing that the Major would put it as an excuse and blow his brains out. 'This is bad.' He thought, biting his finger even harder to the point it bled. "Doctor!" A nurse burst into the study without knocking. Fear and amazement on their face as they looked at the troubled Doctor.

"What is it now?! Haven't you all caused me enough trouble!" He yelled. The nurse flinched at his tone but there were matters more serious than him being angry. "Our Angel…." The nurse started and like a bullet shooting out of a gun the Doctor grabbed the scruff of the nurses shirt in pure anger. "What did you imbeciles do now!!!"

"She's awake!" The nurse squeaked. The Doctor stared at them and immediately released them and ran out of the study.

The male nurse quickly pulled the lever and the green liquid began to drain. But it was slow… too slow.

Tears floated in the green water along with her bubbles of air. Lyall didn't think she had anymore tears to shed but I guess she was proved wrong. 'I hate this.'

Bang!

'I hate this!'

Bang!

'I hate all of this!'

Bang! Bang!

"Take it easy!" The male nurse yelled in panic.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

'I want this to be over!!!'

BANG!!!!!

The glass finally broke and a flood of the medicine liquid poured onto the floor and the poor nurse. "Ah!!" With a hard thump Lyall laid dangling from her hook, coughing and sobbing. "What the hell is going on?!" The Doctor came bursting in, seeing a soaking wet nurse and most of the equipment ruined. The nurse looked up in fear, trying to get up from the ground but failed miserably as his shoe's slipped from the slick ground.

"M-My apologies sir! I tried to drain the liquid to get her some air but she just…"

"Idiot!" Doctor kicked the nurse with all his might, letting out his anger from himself and the stupid nurse.

He wanted to beat the shit out of him but the Doctor knew he didn't have time for that. "Please…" Lyall whimpered.

Doctor's Pov

I looked over at the test subject and was struck dumb by its beauty. 'Such a beautiful voice.' I thought. It hung there helplessly like a baby bird with a broken wing. She slowly lifted her head, her eyes filled with tears. "Please help me…" She pleaded before vomiting the floor. A shiver crawled up my spin. 'I wanted her to say that again.' I thought in pure pleasure. "Doctor?" A nurse said while tapping me on my shoulder. I snapped out of my daze and growled. "What are you fools doing? Unhook her at once!" All of them jumped and immediately did my bidding. The subject quivered at my booming voice, causing the mechanism connected to her spin to bleed. 'Cute.'

I pushed up my glasses and slowly make my way over to her. "I deeply apologize my dear." I started. She stopped struggling but I can tell from her body language that she was in pain and was terrified. "You see, you have been in our care for about a mouth now." With a small clicked the spin connecter released the girl and her body fell into a heep.

She just laid there, sobbing. "W-Why?" She stuttered. I crouched down to her level, my eyes scanning her body from top to bottom.

My mouth widened with a bigger smile. "Well you were sick my dear and a friend of yours came to us to help you." I explained. She wanted to talk but only little whimpers came out. "Ohh, shhh. Shhh." I cooed, patting the girl's delicate head. She flinched at my touch and tried to crawl away from me. It was really cute.

"Try not to move too much. My assistants will help…" I glanced over at the wires and tubes connected to her spine. I was impressed that she hadn't blacked out or died from the shock in her body. "Remove those wires from your back." I got up and glared over at the nurse who was still standing around. "Remove them and have her cleaned up. I have other business to attend to."

I walked away, hopefully gathering enough information for the Major. I looked out of the corner of my eye at the Angel that had been born a little too early but… "This could be a good thing." I muttered.

Alucard's Pov

"Hurry! Hurry! Hurry!" I yelled. My coffin is shaking from my roars. I could hear little Walter inhaling and exhaling from his cigarette. "Come down, vampire. We'll be there soon enough." He stated calmly. But I was in no mood for calm. "She is there! I can feel it… we can't let them escape with her!" I growled.

Walter chuckled. "Why is… that freaking out ?" One of the soldiers asked. I only growled. My master sent me and this boy on a mission by plane where we learned of the Nazi's hideout. Where my angel is hidden. "He's always like this… well more mad than usual I should say." Walter said while exhaling the smoke from his lips. "We are going to rescue his lady love."

"That is insane. A monster like him having a partner. She must be more of a monster than he is." The soldier scoffed. "DO NOT TALK DOWN TO MY ANGEL LIKE THAT!" I wanted to rip that man's throat out. How dare you insult my love!? Walter banged on my coffin in irritation. "Will you shut up, vampire! We have our orders."

"Yes…" I hissed. I could just imagine the screams… the cries for help… the blood… oh so much blood. I smiled wickedly. The rows of my fangs shining in the dark. "Search and destroy."

Oh yes… I was going to enjoy killing those vampire nazi's. I'll make it last too.
