Chapter 15 Welcome to Earth
Axiom flew to Earth. After exiting hyperspace he headed to the designated location, namely the former lands of New York (where Wall-e lives).
Meanwhile, Hal continued to sit where Wall-e had told him to stay, and upon seeing the red dot he jumped for joy knowing that his master was returning. A ship was just breaking through the clouds heading for a landing site some miles away from Wall-e's home. The ship began to land blowing a very large amount of sand, dust and dust. As the dust settled, the bridges slid out and one by one all the doors started opening.
All the passengers including the Captain started to leave and everyone was impressed by the Earth even if it was like a desert. Too much of everything couldn't be seen because there were clouds, and unfortunately this was also a bad sign for one person.
''Let me through!'' - shouted Eve flying with Wall-e held in her arms . After seeing that there were clouds everywhere in the sky she was disappointed and broke down even more '' NO !?'' . All her hope was in vain
The Captain approached her sympathetically: ''Is there a chance to save him?''
Eve looked at him and sadly almost whispered: ''Only the energy of the sun ... was able to recharge his battery ... If only he was different... Huh?'' At some point she remembered something after looking at his half visible pacemaker ''Of course. This is it''
''But what?'' - asked the Captain, not understanding.
''I'll save him,'' - she exclaimed happily and was already about to fly when Hal ran up.
'' Hal, jump in,'' Eve said, and they flew to Wall-e's truck.
Moe tried to call out to Eve but she didn't hear him and, along with other workers, ran after her in the direction she flew. The others who were alongside the ship, including the Captain, firmly believed , that Wall-e would survive.
After opening the door of the truck, Hal immediately jumped down, and Eve put Wall-e in a sitting position peeling his back on the shelves of the racks near the batteries. She had to quickly remember where the cable was, which Wall-e previously used. She had to hurry because every minute counted. Suddenly she heard Hal barking and holding the necessary cables in his mouth .
''Good little dog," - she said stroking his head at which Hal barked happily.
Now she just had to connect it. She unzipped Wall-e's suit more until all the pacemaker was visible and attached the cables to Wall-e first, and the other two she decided that instead of attaching to one of the batteries, she would do it on herself . She opened the main energy source on her suit and connected the cables. The energy immediately started flowing to Wall-e charging the pacemaker to full. The energy strangely enough didn't electrocute Wall-e as it did earlier , when he tried to bring Eve back to life.
When the battery was full , Wall -e was unresponsive for a while and Eve thought she was late until she heard him moan. She touched his face with her hand lifting his head slightly upwards: ''Wall-e?''
Wall -e was dizzy. He heard a familiar voice but was in such a state as if someone had hit him on the head with something. He opened his eyes slowly and saw only blurred white and black colors in front of him . He blinked a few times and only after a few minutes he saw who was really sitting in front of him
''Eve?''
'' Wall-e'' - Eve smiled at him when he said her name
''Are we on the Earth?'' - he asked
''Yes, we are back, Wall-e''
Wall-e was surprised after seeing the cables on Eve's suit and when he saw that he was wearing them too
''Eve? Did you...?''
''Yes, I did''
Wall-e tried to give her a quick hug but when he got close he inadvertently cut the cable slightly and a small spark flew surprising them both.
''Oops''
''Hehehe, wait a minute'' - Eve disconnected the cables from them and as soon as she put them next to them, she immediately grabbed Wall -e in a strong hug floating with him in the air (still in the truck).
They looked at each other smiling widely. When they were on the ground they brought their faces closer to each other and started kissing. Wall-e felt his heart beating fast . He waited for that moment when he would feel her gentle kisses again and now they both reciprocated their feelings for each other. Hal barked with joy seeing that his master was healthy. Their friends arrived and at the sight of Wall-e alive and well exclaimed joyfully . Moe, however, quickly silenced everyone and led them out of the truck to give them time to themselves.
During this time, the Captain planted the Wall-e's plant and explained to the others what farming is all about. The passengers looked at their surroundings and, like the Captain, were pleased to return home. Earlier they were a little worried about the conditions that now prevailed, but the Captain assured them that they would be able to fix it all and it would again be as beautiful as before.
The End
