Chapter 80: Facing You

Bright sunny day. No school, no homework, no tests to study for just a day to have fun. Whether it's being home or out there hanging with friends or both to some. Saturday was in and the day was perfect … to some.

Michael: "Ahhhhh" He groans face first on his pillow. "So boring." *Sigh* (Man I got nothing to do today. I could call Yuri to see if she wants to hang out, but I don't want to bother her today. She might have more important matters to attend to.) He groans some more. (I knew I should've asked her yesterday when I had the chance. She was right there. I could have said, Hey Yuri, got any plans tomorrow? No instead I just kissed her and said goodbye.)

[Coma Black by Marylin Manson]

He gets off his bed to stand. (I need to stop sounding like a bitch and go find something to do. Wonder if there's anything I could do around the house I never had time before? I should check on the spare room. It must be really dusty since the last time I cleaned it?) He leaves the comfort of his room and heads down the small hallway. Not far from his room just next door he came face to face with the spare room.

(Maybe the sheets could use some cleaning?)

He opens the door to see a very clean looking room. Everything in clear white from the sheets to the walls to even the furniture almost blending in. He took a step in and examined the area, rubbing his finger on the white furniture for dust. To his surprise there was nothing that came out of it.

(Did mom clean this room?) He decided to look around the room to find something dirty but found nothing. After finding nothing worth cleaning, he took a seat on the bed sighing, annoyed he had nothing to do again. (Well, that was a letdown. Mom cleaned the room up even though she had work. She could have just asked me to do it. It would've given me something to do.) He looks up to the ceiling.

(How long has it been? How long has time passed when she left? This room was once hers. How could I ever forget the smell that no longer lingers? The disgusting scent of blood. The clear white walls covered in blood and garbage. The furniture nonexistent instead used as tools for the bodies. The dead furry bodies. That sweet yet horrifying look she gave. Acting like she has no idea yet knows full well what she's doing.

The one who told me the truth of who I am. The one who torments those who knew nothing of reality. The one I once loved as my blood. The one who shares it. Beaten yet takes pleasure out of it. She who tells it and stays silent. The one who I am to protect but fears her. The one I should protect yet I fight. Emotionally, physically, and mentally, day in and day out to this day and forever more. Gone from my life yet it haunts me.

Pushed passed my limits and on the brink of insanity. A constant reminder to keep my humanity intact yet she pulls me away. The struggle to regain the lost and found what I have missed. The devil on my shoulder and the nightmare that is real. A girl that is my reflection. The one I should love but instead hate. Yet a part of me still loves her. The bond of our blood, separated by our outlooks on the life we are sent here.

She is … my reflection, the one I could have been, the one I should've been, the one who I love and hate, the one … that represents the path not taken. The struggle to take my own. That is who she is. Michelle Connor. Just Michelle.) His hands shake in fear as he tries to regain composure. His eyes dulling at the thought of her. The trauma escalating through his mind and body until.

*Bzzt*

*Gasp*

The phones sudden ringing bringing him out of his darkness. Taking his phone out of his pocket he looks to see a new message on his screen. "Monika? Wonder what she wants?" He opens the message icon and read what she wrote and saw it was a group chat.

You all bored? Want to hang? Found a cool restaurant for lunch if any of you are down?

"Eh?" It was then he realized that she used the old group chat which only contained the original five members. "What?"

Monika: "Sorry I'm late everyone." She bows as everyone else had arrived at their destination.

Natsuki: "God even in public you're late." She folds her arms.

Monika: "Well excuse me but not all of us has a ride."

Natsuki: "Bleh" She sticks her tongue out.

Monika: "Well I'm glad you're all free today. I was really bored today and was worried you guys might have other things to do." Sayori giggles.

Sayori: "Don't worry about me. I was bored myself. Wasn't sure what to do until you gave us the call to hang, so I'm super happy to hang with you all on this awesome day."

Michael: "Selling it a bit much aren't you?"

Sayori: "But it was so boring! I wasn't sure what to do at home."

Monika: "You didn't go to Michael's place even though you two live near each other?"

Sayori: "I was planning to text him if we could hang but I thought he might have plans to hang out with Yuri today, so I didn't bother."

Michael: "Well I thought Yuri had plans of her own, so I didn't call her to ask if we can hang."

Yuri: "Forgive me. Perhaps I should've been the one to ask if you were available, but I thought you had your own plans today."

[Song Ends]

Monika: "Are you three serious?"

Sayori: "Yeah"

Michael: "Yup"

Yuri: "Hm"

Natsuki: "God you three suck when it comes to communication."

Monika: "I'm in cline to agree with you but it's never a dull moment with you all." Natsuki doesn't respond and just pouts with a blush across her face. "So, since we're all here. Shall we go in and grab a bite to eat."

Everyone Else: "Yes mam!"

Sayori: "So hungry." She says entering the restaurant first.

Natsuki: "When are you never?" She follows after with the others right behind her.

Later after placing their orders and waiting a little longer for their dishes to arrive. The five of them enjoyed their meals before paying and leaving.

Sayori: "So good." She licks her lips.

Monika: "Don't think I'll have dinner tonight after that."

Natsuki: "Ga, think I ate too much."

Monika: "I could tell. You ate the whole thing for once."

Natsuki: "Well of course I would. I was hungry after all."

Monika: "And yet you had enough room for dessert. How do you do it. Think you ate more than Sayori."

Natsuki: "Hey! She eats more often than me. By the time we head back home she'll already be hungry again."

Sayori: "Yeah, I would."

Monika: "Still it raises a question. Back then you rarely ever spent anything or ate anything for that matter?"

Natsuki: "W-well … if you must know … My dad gives me more money now and I had enough saved up."

Monika: "I see. So, you get an allowance as well."

Natsuki: "Yeah, why is that weird?"

Monika: "No, not really but I am curious about one thing though."

Natsuki: "And that is?"

Monika: "How are you guys able to get so much money?"

Natsuki: "What?"

Monika: "Oh come now. Don't tell me you aren't curious? When you think about all the times we hang out, we often spent a lot. I'm just curious how you all have enough money to spend time with us? So, spill guys. Do you all get an allowance too or do you guys have a job already?"

Sayori: "Oh I get an allowance too from my parents. I don't have a job yet, so them giving me money is all I have. For now." She plays with her fingers.

Monika: "I see now."

Natsuki: "Hmph, I already told you, so you can just skip over me."

Monika: "Dully noted. What about you two?"

Yuri: "Ah, well I get an allowance too from my parents. I don't often spend much, however. Most of my novels are either rented, borrowed, or gifted to me."

Monika: "Oh, I see. No wonder you're always prepared. I'm guessing you parents are rich?"

Yuri: "No not necessarily but I suppose you could say that."

Monika: "Well that's good to know. I could tell by the size of your house when we went to drop you off that one time. Felt like I got to know more about you."

Yuri: "R-really?" Monika nods happily. "I see … what about you Monika? If I may ask of course."

Monika: "Same as you guys. I get an allowance from my parents too. Well, I should say parent since my mom disowned me, but my dad is still helping me out."

Yuri: "That must be terrible?"

Monika: "Not really. Plus during the summer, I get a job so I have plenty saved up to hang and to get me started on my new life."

Yuri: "I see. That's good to hear."

Natsuki: "Wait you have job?"

Monika: "Only in the summer. Though it always changes. I'm not always working on the same job every year."

Natsuki: "Damn, what can't you do?"

Monika: "You be surprised at how awful I can be." She winks. "So, what about you Michael? Got a job or allowance, or do you get both?"

Michael: "W-well …" He starts getting nervous. "I … get an allowance too."

Monika: "Ah I see. You get one too."

Michael: "Yeah … of course I do."

Monika: (Why does he sound so nervous?)

Michael: "We should get going now. You have any idea what to do next?"

Monika: "I might. Just follow me." She takes the lead with the others following.

The five of them continue their walk downtown, during which they would take a break at a nearby park. An early bright day with the clouds soaring through the blue sky.

Sayori: "It's so nice out here today and to think I was planning to stay indoors."

Monika: "Yeah, good thing all of you were available. I could have made the same mistake and stayed indoors. I would've missed the great outdoors."

Sayori: "Oh look, that cloud looks like a racoon." She points up with a bright smile on her face.

Natsuki: "Looks more like a squirrel than anything else."

Michael: "You having fun Yuri?"

Yuri: "I am. It's … nice being out here. The calm sky, the fresh air, the fluffy clouds. It's beautiful today."

Michael: "I'm glad you're having fun today. I know it's a bit uncomfortable with all these people around." She shakes her head with a smile.

Yuri: "Don't be but thank you for being concerned over me. I don't go out much but … it's nice to be away from my novels."

Michael: "I see."

Sayori: "Hey MC look. That cloud looks like you."

Natsuki: "It looks like a girl. It has a ponytail."

Monika: "But it does have his eyes."

Natsuki: "That doesn't help!"

?: *Sigh* "So loud you lot." The five of them turn their heads to see two people walking up to them.

Natsuki: "You again?" She said in annoyance.

Clyde: "Sup"

Senna: "Good evening Literature crew."

Monika: "Senna? What brings you out here today?"

Senna: "I assume the same with you. Perfect day to be out."

Natsuki: "And why is he here?" She points to Clyde.

Clyde: "Like I had a choice. I was in my room reading some comics until she came barging in and dragging me out here. Said I need to touch some grass. Even though I have a backyard."

Senna: "That's because you need to be out even though your dad was against it."

Sayori: "Against it? Why was you dad against it?"

Clyde: "Because of my last few stunts I pulled. My old man got angry and ground me."

Natsuki: "So why are you out here now?"

Senna: "I asked permission for him to accompany me. Wanted to show him around and show him what will happen to him if he continues being reckless."

Natsuki: "So a punishment for being a dick. Nice."

Clyde: "Hmph!"

Senna: "Though since we're here. Clyde, do you have anything to say to the two of them?"

Clyde: "No I don't."

Senna: "Clyde" She says in angrily.

Clyde: "It's a waste of time and doesn't change the fact. I hate him and he hates me. We fought twice and got our asses kicked. That's that. What's the point in anything? Why should I apologize now?"

Senna: "Clyde" She says sadly now.

Natsuki: "Asshole."

Clyde: "Tch, whatever."

Senna: *Sigh* "Maybe you're right. Maybe an apology isn't good enough. Even if you do say it, you won't really mean it and if you do mean it, it won't change the fact that you might get into more trouble but …"

Clyde: "Then just drop it. No point in saying sorry. It's not going to make a difference. Connor, listen here. I hate you, and everything I said about you and Yuri hasn't changed. Got it?"

Michael: "…"

Senna: "Clyde!"

Clyde: "Hey, I'm just making it clear. You can't change me so just give up already."

Senna: "Clyde …"

Yuri: "…"

Natsuki: "Like I said, asshole."

Sayori: "Can't we all just get along?"

Monika: "Seems like it's not going to happen."

Yuri: "…"

Clyde: "Just take me home now. I'm done with today."

Senna: "Fine"

Yuri: "… Clyde, please wait for one moment." The two stop in their tracks.

Natsuki: "Yuri?"

Clyde: "What do you want now?"

Yuri: "… Please, don't talk about yourself like that."

Clyde: "Eh?"

Yuri: "I … I may not know you well compared to Senna, but I don't want to hear you give up like that. I may not know why you're so angry but I personally … believe you can change for the better."

Clyde: "!"

Yuri: "Whatever happened to you may never make up for what you did to me and Michael, but I want you to know that I … forgive you."

Clyde: "What?" Everyone else shared the same feeling.

Natsuki: "Yuri?"

Yuri: "I know it may seem idiotic, but I don't want you to continue destroying yourself. It hurts me."

Clyde: "…" Everyone remains silent as Yuri confronts Clyde face to face.

Yuri: "Please Clyde? Please be better. Not only for Senna, the one who still has hope for you, but for yourself as well. Please find happiness in yourself. That's all I'm asking for."

Clyde: "Why?"

Yuri: "Huh?"

Clyde: "Why are you forgiving me all of a sudden? Do you not remember what I did to you? Are you that stupid?"

Yuri: "Maybe I am, but I want this to end."

Clyde: "End?"

Yuri: "For you to stop causing trouble for yourself and to find closure."

Clyde: "… Let's go Senna."

Senna: "Oh, R-right. Sorry." They both walk away.

Yuri: "I hope he finds peace now."

Natsuki: "Hmph, God you can be so forgiving you know that?"

Yuri: "I know. It's one of my greatest flaws."

Monika: "Are you sure you want to forgive him?"

Yuri: "It wasn't easy but … It's hard to let go of your hate, but spending my life hating only causes more trouble than it's worth. I want him to know that and for him to know that he has potential in something good."

Monika: "Honestly, sometimes I wonder if we deserve you?"

Michael: "Yuri" He places his hand on her shoulder.

Yuri: "Do you think I'm weak?"

Michael: "… I don't know."

Monika: "I don't think you are." Yuri turns to her. "I think you're a real strong person to let go. Not many people can do that."

Yuri: "Maybe" (I know she means well, but a part of me feels weak.) "Ah sorry for bringing the mood down again. I'm still working on that."

Monika: "It's alright. We have our moments. I'm just proud of you for making the effort of coming out of your shell."

Yuri: "W-well?"

Monika: "So, what do you guys want to do now? We still have a bright sun out and no sign of the moon. What do you guys feel like doing now?"

Sayori: "Oh, oh! I have an idea."

Monika: "Ah perfect timing as usual. Lead the way."

Michael: "Very poor choice of words." He whispers to Natsuki.

Natsuki: "I got a bad feeling about this."

Sayori: "Follow me." She leads the way with everyone else following.

Natsuki: "Yup, definitely got some bad feelings."

While they follow Sayori on their next adventure. On the other side of town after their interaction with the Literature Club members.

Senna: "Jesus Christ, slow down would you. I'm the one who's supposed to lead you."

Clyde: "And that's why you were rejected by the Track Team."

Senna: "Says the man who was rejected by the Tennis Team."

Clyde: "How was I supposed to know where to stand?"

Senna: "It's common sense. Besides you ended up smacking your opponent on the head with your racket when it slipped out of your hand."

Clyde: "Not my fault it was buttery."

Senna: "Excuses."

Clyde: "Tsk! Whatever." He pouts while Senna cracks a smile.

Senna: (Wow, when was the last time we had a talk like this? Given it's us bickering but I'll take what I can get. Almost feels like I have my old friend back. I wonder … did she managed to reach to him a little? Hmm … Yuri, she sure is interesting and her bond with Connor. I wonder?)

Clyde: "Senna!"

Senna: "Huh? Yeah?"

Clyde: "You coming or what?"

Senna: "Yeah I'm coming." She rushes to catch up to him as the day came and went.

With the weekend soon coming to an end. School was once again taking place and the day went by as usual. The day ends with Ronald sharing his story next and after sharing a piece of his work. Everyone clapped as Monika calls it a day.

Johnny: "Hey nice job man." He heads lock his red headed friend.

Ronald: "Ga! Johnny." He says gaging.

Johnny: "Yeah?" He lets him go.

Ronald: "It was only the first part. I'm not even at the middle yet!"

Johnny: "So what? You did good man. You even got Yuri to praise you."

Ronald: "But she praises everyone."

Johnny: "She ain't the one telling you to make a crap ton of changes compared to Hina."

Hina: "I heard you, you ass!"

Johnny: "Want to get going now?" He starts acting nervous.

Ronald: "Whatever" (With how big he is, he shouldn't be scared of her, but I guess even he has some weaknesses.)

Johnny: "You thinking crap about me?"

Ronald: "No!" His big friend headlocks him again as Hina pulls on his ear.

Johnny: "Ga!"

Monika: "My how rowdy they are today. It's only Monday and they have so much energy today."

Yuri: "Indeed, though this may have been my fault." Monika giggles.

Monika: "Don't worry about it. They got the chance to learn a lot more about literature thanks to you."

Yuri: "You think so?"

Monika: "I know so. Maybe we should make a little notebook and call it Yuri's writing tip of the day."

Yuri: "Th-that's not necessary. Though I am glad to be useful. It's nice." She smiles to her.

Michael: "Are you two in the middle of a conversation?"

Monika: "Nah, it's okay. Are you planning to take Yuri home today?"

Michael: "I am."

Monika: "And Sayori?"

Sayori: "I'm coming along too." She jumps on Michael.

Michael: "Ga! Get off of me."

Sayori: "No, it's a great view."

Michael: "Then can you at least adjust yourself. Losing my balance here."

Sayori: "Fine." She does what he asks with her arms around his neck and wrapping her legs around his waist.

Michael: "This isn't what I was hoping for."

Sayori: "But you said …"

Michael: "Just get off of me. This is really getting awkward now."

Sayori: "Fine, meanie." Both Monika and Yuri snicker to themselves at the show they just witnessed.

Monika: "Well don't let me hold you guys up. Hope to see you three tomorrow."

Sayori: "Right, we're see you later."

Michael: "Later Monika."

Yuri: "Have a good day."

Monika: "Stay safe." She says before they leave for home.

After leaving the club. The walk to Yuri's house went smoothly as the three of them had a friendly chat while Yuri and Michael held hands and Sayori locking her arms with Yuri's free arm.

Sayori: "Been thinking about getting into reading some books. Do you two have any good suggestions?"

Michael: "You want to start reading books now?"

Sayori: "Yeah! As Vice-President I should get more into literature like books. No more comics and Manga for me … for now at least." Michael rolls his eyes when he heard her last statement. "So, Got any good recon?"

Michael: "You mean recommendation?"

Sayori: "Yeah that."

Michael: "How are you Vice-President?"

Sayori: "I'm cool don't you know?" She says with a peace sign and Michael just sighing in disbelief.

Yuri: "It depends on your preference. What do you like to read about?"

Sayori: "I like reading anything."

Yuri: "Th-that doesn't quite help."

Michael: "Do you have any dislikes?"

Sayori: "Nope!"

Michael: "Again, you're no help. What do you feel like reading? Got any ideas about that?"

Sayori: "I could go for some of that suspense action."

Michael: "I see. Do you have any ideas, Yuri?"

Yuri: "Hmm, I might have a couple of recommendations, but I need time to go through them. Could you possibly wait until tomorrow Sayori?"

Sayori: "Sure thing. Thanks, you two."

Yuri: "My pleasure. Ah, we're here."

Sayori: "Wait this is your place!?"

Yuri: "It is."

Sayori: "Holy cow it's huge."

Michael: "Phrasing"

Yuri: "I-i-i-i-it's not that large."

Sayori: "It's bigger than my house."

Yuri: "I-It's not I'm tell you."

Sayori: "If you say so. Well, we best get going too now. Our place is on the other side of town."

Yuri: "Forgive me for my selfish request. I should've been more thoughtful when I asked. I'm sorry."

Michael: "It's fine."

Sayori: "Yeah, all that walking is good for our buns and thighs."

Michael: "Yah, buns and thighs."

Yuri: "Eh?"

Michael: "Right, you don't watch T.V."

Yuri: "S-sorry"

Michael: "Well, we best get going before the sun sets. We're see you tomorrow."

Yuri: "Okay, take care you two."

Sayori: "We'll see ya later." The two walk away from Yuri and make their long journey back to their place.

During their walk home the two childhood friends would continue having their own conversation. The streets were busy as everyone makes their way home after a long day of work. Some would stop by to buy food or have a conversation with friends or family. By the time they reached the other side of town. They noticed how the streets got less and less noisy. The streets crowded by people now acting like a ghost town. Both Sayori and Michael looked around and saw most of the stores are closed but some remained open. Before they could walk any further one of the doors opens suddenly.

Clyde: "Eh?"

Sayori: "Huh?"

Michael: "Clyde?"

Clyde: *Sigh* "Seriously again? How small is this town that we keep running into each other?"

Michael: "What are you doing here? I thought you were grounded?"

Clyde: "I am. Senna was supposed to keep an eye on me and make sure I head straight home."

Michael: "Well, where is she then?"

Clyde: "She had a phone call from someone. I don't care who it is, so I decided to walk away. Found this place and decided to get a smoothy. Seriously that girl could never focus on her tasks." Michael glares at Sayori.

Sayori: "What? What!?"

Clyde: "Well I'm off to home now. Got what I wanted."

Michael: "Clyde"

Clyde: "What now? Want to fight again? Cause I ain't interested this time."

Michael: "Not interested?"

Clyde: "Got my ass kicked twice not going for a third time." He pops his neck. "God that feels nice."

Michael: "That's not what I wanted to ask."

Clyde: "Then what?"

Michael: "It's about our last fight."

Clyde: "What about it?"

Michael: "You said something about happiness. That you were angry that I was happy. That you gave and gave, and it brought you nothing but misery. What did you mean by that?"

Clyde: "… It doesn't matter. Just let it go."

Michael: "Yuri forgave you. Why do you think she did that?"

Clyde: "How should I know? I don't know what goes through her head."

Michael: "I see."

Sayori: "MC?"

Michael: "Whatever the case is. I want to make one thing clear. She may have forgiven you, but I won't forget."

Clyde: "Hmph, whatever you say. It's over. This conflict is over now." He looks behind himself as he hears footsteps. "Huh?" Out came five guys on one side and five more behind them.

Sayori: "Uh MC?"

Michael: "It's you guys again."

Clyde: "Again? You met these guys before?"

Michael: "Wait you don't know them?"

Clyde: "Why would I? I don't team up with just anyone."

Sayori: "Did you meet them before MC?"

Michael: "Yeah, these are the same guys who tried to harass me and Yuri before we ran from them."

Clyde: "You ran away?"

Michael: "Hey, I've had enough violence in my life this month and I ain't taking any more chance when I have someone with me."

Random Bully: "Well too bad. This time we're not letting you go this time. There's more of us than last time."

Clyde: "How annoying."

Random Bully: "You guys ready?" His friends yell.

[See Yourself by Fight Like Sin]

"Then get him!"

Michael grunts right before he pushes Sayori away as one of them rushes up to him. Before he could even strike, Michael ducks and punches the guy in the stomach, sending him flying away from him. However just as he did another came from behind ready to attack. With not much time to counter, Michael braces himself for impact but before that could happen. Clyde intervenes and struck the guy in the face sending him away.

Confused by his aid. The two looked to each other before their enemies again. With nothing to say, they get surrounded. Two to ten, back-to-back with each other as Sayori runs to safety to make a call. The two boys fight their way out. With no one around to stop this madness, no one to call for help. Everyone frozen as they get ready for someone to make the first move. Michael taking deep breaths while Clyde clenches his fists, getting his hands ready for a fight. In the meantime, all ten guys get in a stance ready to jump them.

Time remained frozen as no one moved, but then someone did as one of the bullies makes their move with the others soon following. Rushing towards Michael again, hoping to get first blood. His attempt failed as Michael struck first with a powerful uppercut while Clyde kicks the other on the knee joint causing him to roll over smacking onto the cement floor. Two more then appeared as both Clyde and Michael switches places with each other and knocked two of their opponents down.

Random Bully: "What!? They're working together now?" He says as more and more of his gang gets their asses kicked. With one of them getting thrown at his friends by Michael while Clyde just kicked a guy right in the chin. "Damn it. This isn't how it's supposed to go." (We planned to just gang up on Connor. We never thought he might have back up.) "Tch, damn it all!" Angry, confused, and panicking. He became unaware that Clyde and Michael had finished beating down his gang as they both glared at him. "Uh? P-please don't hurt me?"

[Song Ends]

Clyde: "Get the hell out of here. You guys are an eye sore." He looks down on the floor. "You guys owe me a new smoothie."

Random Bully: "Th-this isn't the end!" He runs away with his friends following while carrying any of their knocked-out allies.

Sayori: "Woah, that was scary."

Michael: "…"

Sayori: "MC?"

Michael: "Hm?"

Sayori: "You, ok?"

Michael: "I am. Did you get a hold on anyone?"

Sayori: "No, the cops wouldn't pick up, so I did the next best thing and called Monika."

Michael: "You what now?"

Sayori: "What?"

Michael: "Why Monika specifically?"

Sayori: "Hey, I was panicking, ok? I couldn't think straight when all that was happening. Plus, I was distracted watching." She whispers that last part herself.

Michael: "Oh lord."

Clyde: "… Hmph." He turns away.

Michael: "Why'd you help?" Clyde looks back at him. "You could have turned and ran. They were only after me, so why did you stay?"

Clyde: "Oh please, I didn't stay to help. Those losers would've most likely think I'm in cahoots with you. Not gonna let them attack me first."

Michael: "Ok tsundere." He says sarcastically.

Clyde: "What?"

Sayori: "He means stop being like Natsuki." When she said that Natsuki sneezed.

Clyde: "Whatever"

Senna: "Clyde!"

Clyde: "Great" He sighs.

Senna: "There you are. What the hell have you been up to!?"

Clyde: "Getting a smoothy what else?"

Senna: "You were supposed to stay with me until we got to your place!"

Clyde: "Not my fault you got distracted by a phone call." Michael glares at Sayori again.

Sayori: "What?"

Senna: "Oh God, don't tell me you got into a fight again." Clyde coughs. "What the hell is wrong with you!? First you ran away from me when I had an important call. Then you got into a fight! Are you that stupid!?"

Sayori: "Um?"

Senna: "What!?"

Sayori: "Well actually …"

Michael: "We got jumped by some gang."

Senna: "What?"

Michael: "It's the truth. We did run into Clyde having a smoothy, but we didn't fight. Instead, ten guys showed up and attacked us with Clyde helping me."

Senna: "Clyde?" He kept his mouth shut.

Sayori: "It's the truth. Ten guys showed up and these two teamed up to fight them off. It almost looked like a scene from an action movie. Two guys who don't like each other teaming up to survive against the world."

Senna: "So that's what happened." *Sigh* "Well I'm glad you're all fine. Doesn't seem like you're all that badly hurt."

Clyde: "I built a tolerance."

Senna: "Yeah, I wonder why?"

Clyde: "Whatever, I'm out." He walks away. "You coming or what?"

Senna: "Yeah, yeah, just slow down, Christ. Sorry you two. Hope he didn't cause you too much trouble again."

Michael: "…"

Sayori: "Nah, we're fine. Though it must be hard being his childhood friend?"

Senna: "I could tell you stories."

Clyde: "Senna!"

Senna: "Yeah, yeah keep your pants on. I'll see you two around. Bye."

Sayori: "Bye" They wave goodbye with Senna running to catch up with Clyde as the two of them leave the scene. "Well, that was sweet of her."

Michael: "You think?"

Sayori: "Even after all that she still stands by his side. Those two must be really close even though Clyde doesn't show it."

Michael: "Yeah, maybe you're right."

Sayori: "So, MC?"

Michael: "What?"

Sayori: "You gonna tell me where you learn to fight?"

Michael: "You seem unfazed?"

Sayori: "Well considering I've been your friend for years. I guess you could say I'm used to it."

Michael: "…"

Sayori: "Don't worry about it. Everything will be ok. But you got tell me one of these day on what you've been up to when we stopped seeing each other."

Michael: "Right, maybe … when I'm ready."

Sayori: "Good" She smiles brightly causing him to smile as well with him petting her.

Michael: "We best get going ourselves. We got a lot of explaining to do with Monika and probably the others?"

Sayori: "Yeah ok. Party at your house?"

Michael: "Heh, you wish."

The two began their walk back home with the daytime ending with Michael and Sayori explaining everything to Monika over the phone. With everything set, Michael gets ready for bed hoping to sleep today's events off. However, just as he was getting ready for bed. His phone went off as he finished packing his backpack for tomorrow's class. "Who's calling me at this time of day? He went to grab his phone and saw who it was. "Huh, Yuri, calling me? That's rare." (Though I could hazard a guess why she would call me.) He answers the call and hears a very worried bookworm.

Yuri: "Michael, I heard what happened from Monika. Are you okay?"

Michael: *Sigh* (Thanks Sayori. Just had to start a domino effect.) "Yeah, I'm good."

Yuri: "You're not hurt, are you?"

Michael: "No, not a single wound on me this time."

Yuri: "Ah what a relief. When I heard that you got into a fight. I grew concerned and thought I should see you."

Michael: "You don't have to do that. You got your own things to worry about. I'm fine."

Yuri: "Then why haven't you called me then?"

Michael: "I didn't want to worry you."

Yuri: "Michael, you can be such a … What happened exactly? Monika only told me you got into a fight and to call to make sure you're okay."

Michael: "I see." (Thanks Monika.) He says to himself sarcastically. "You see, this is what happened." He tells his worried girlfriend the events that occurred once again.

Yuri: "I see."

Michael: "Yeah, I'm surprised he fought alongside me too."

Yuri: "You sound unpleased."

Michael: "I …"

Yuri: "Michael?"

Michael: "… Sorry, it's just … after everything he's done. I just can't trust him. Yeah, he helped but there was also the possibility that he could have turned against me if I let my guard down for a second."

Yuri: "Ah, so that's the problem."

Michael: "Yeah"

Yuri: "I don't blame you for feeling that way. I won't hold it against you or tell you should get over it. Just please be careful."

Michael: "Yuri"

[I'm like a Lawyer by Fall Out Boy]

Yuri: "Are you sure you don't want me over?"

Michael: "I don't think your parents are going to like that."

Yuri: "No, no, you're right, but …"

Michael: "But what?"

Yuri: "It's nothing really."

Michael: "Oh come on. You can tell me."

Yuri: "It's nothing. Matter of fact, when I think about it. It sounds embarrassing."

Michael: "Come on, tell me. You got me curious now."

Yuri: "… You promise you won't laugh?"

Michael: "I won't laugh."

Yuri: "… Okay, well you see … Oh dear …"

Michael: (What is it she wants to tell me? She's making me nervous now.)

Yuri: "I-i-i-i-i-i-it w-would be nice if we could … uh … sleep … together?"

Michael: "What?"

Yuri: "A-a-a-as in … I want to s-sleep next to you and wake up with you."

Michael: "Oh, that's what you meant?"

Yuri: "What did you think I meant?"

Michael: "I, you, never mind it, so you're saying we should live together?"

Yuri: "Th-that isn't what I meant, but … I just … like being with you."

Michael: "…"

Yuri: "S-sorry for sounding creepy. I didn't mean to sound so clingy."

Michael: "No it's fine. I'm just overjoyed now."

Yuri: "You are?"

Michael: "Yeah, why wouldn't I? I'm so happy right now, that I don't think I'll be able to sleep tonight."

Yuri: "Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to."

Michael: "Yuri."

Yuri: "Y-yes?"

Michael: "… It's nothing. I just wanted to say your name."

Yuri: "I-I see."

Michael: "It's getting late and we have school tomorrow. We best be getting to bed."

Yuri: "Michael?"

Michael: "Yeah?"

Yuri: "I … know it's late but … could we continue having a conversation?"

Michael: "Sure, that sounds great."

Yuri: "I'm sorry for being selfish. I just … really needed to hear your voice."

Michael: "That so? Are you a hopeless romantic?"

Yuri: "F-forgive me. I've read too much romantic novels when I was young."

Michael: "Nah, it's fine. I feel the same way with you. I just want to hear your voice too."

Yuri: "I love you."

Michael: "I love you too. So, what did you want to talk about?"

Yuri: "Well …" The two would continue to have their conversation until it was dead at night with Michael slowly falling asleep in the middle of their conversation. "Are you still up?" All she could hear are his peaceful snores. When she heard him, she giggled to herself. "You fell asleep, didn't you? Must have been a rough day for you. Good night Michael. Sleep well. I love you … so much it hurts. See you soon." She hangs up the phone finally ending today's events as a new day came by.

[Song Ends]

With half a day already gone. The school lunch bell rings with Yuri packing away her paperwork while her classmates leave in groups. When everyone else left, Yuri soon takes her leave as well. However, just as she left her now empty classroom. She is greeted by her boyfriend with a big smile on his face causing Yuri herself to smile. The two make their way to the plaza as Yuri wanted a change in scenery. During their walk they would discuss their thoughts about their fellow clubmates' stories so far and wonder what the others who hasn't shared theirs would be about.

By the time they reached outside, Michael mentioned a nice spot they could sit passed the plaza where they could talk or read in peace. However just after making their way through the main part of the plaza. They are once again stopped by the same bullies as before. This time in less numbers.

Random Bully: "Connor"

Michael: "Really … again?" The two stands in front of each other while everyone around them keeps to themselves.

[Breaking Through by The Wreckage]

"You still haven't learned anything have you?"

Yuri: "Michael please." She tugs on his arm causing him look at her pleading face, soon nodding to her. He attempts to walk away but …

Random Bully: "We're not done. We still got a bone to pick with you."

Michael: "Really? Right now? In front of everyone? In the middle of school?"

Random Bully: "At this point, none of us care anymore. Just like how you come here every day knowing full well that you're not welcome here. You and her." He glares at Yuri who is hiding behind her lover.

Michael: "Funny, that's not what I've been hearing lately."

Yuri: "Michael please." She whispers hoping for them to just move along, but her plead fails as he remains focus on what's in front of him now.

Random Bully: "Tch, God I hate looking at you."

Michael: "Now you know how I feel when I have to constantly see you every day. When are you going to learn to leave me alone. We all know what's going to happen, so why not just drop it and move along with your life."

Random Bully: "I used to have a life until your dad showed up!" With his sudden outburst. Everyone around the plaza looked to their direction.

Michael: "…"

Random Bully: "It's your fault that my life is fucked up! If your dad hadn't shown up, I would have been having the time of my life! But you!"

Michael: "I'm not responsible for my dad's actions. Whatever he did was his own fault. You got a problem with him, you can take it up with him, not me."

Random Bully: "It is your fault! If you just stopped him then none of us would have to suffer, but you did nothing! The blood is on your hands! We all hate you not just for you doing nothing, but for looking like him and acting like him! You're no different from him! That's why it's your fault!"

Michael: "… Look, we're in school grounds. Things are different from yesterday. If we brawl, the teachers are going to interfere and we're all get into trouble. Is that what you want?"

Random Bully: "Tch! You …" His hands shake.

Random Bully 2: "Hey man." He whispers to his friend hoping to calm him down and not lose focus. However, this fell on deaf ears as whatever he said to him, only caused him to get angrier at the man he blames for his suffering.

Random Bully: "Ga! I don't care!" Everyone around the plaza talks about what they are witnessing.

Random Bully 2: "Dude, calm down!" He tries to hold him back but was pushed off as his friend now runs up to him "Shit!"

[Song Ends]

Random Bully: "Fuck you Connor!" He runs up to Michael and clenches his hands, getting it ready for a hit. However just as Michael was getting ready to defend himself.

Michael: *Gasp*

Random Bully: "Tch!" Yuri steps in shielding him. "Gaaaaaa! Fuck you bitch!" He lets go of his fists and just shoves her into the school's plaza fountain. Drenching her in water.

Michael: "Yuri!" He rushes to her to help her get out of the cold water. "Are you ok?" Just as he pulled her out.

Random Bully: "Heh, heh. Hahahahaaha!" He laughs and points at them. "Oh wow it is true! Look everyone! Those two are dating! Wow! The two outcasts are together for real in front of all of us! Look everyone! Connor and Yuri are dating! Look!"

He continues laughing as everyone else around started laughing with a couple of people not joining in on the joke. Instead feeling sorry for the poor girl.

Michael: "Damn you." He clenches his hands as he begins to lose his temper. "You dare." He stands up with rage in his eyes while Yuri shakes due to the cold water. "You bastard!"

Random Bully: "You want to go now!?" The two get ready for a fight while the crowd begins to cheer. However, the show came to a halt.

Mrs. Brianne: "What's going on here!?" All the students stop laughing and cheering as she makes her way to see the event that has transpired. "What happened here!?" She says very upsettingly as Yuri starts to cry, catching Michael's attention.

Michael: "Yuri"

Yuri: *Sniff* "I'm sorry. I did it again." *Sniff* "I made you look bad in front of everyone again." She runs away from everyone.

Michael: "Yuri! Yuri!" His plead echoing through the plaza as she runs past everyone in shame.
