Shirou looked at his reflection.
The thing in the mirror waved at him.
What the fuck?
Awkwardly, Shirou retuned the wave, making the reflection smile slightly at him.
Shirou blinked, and the reflection was gone.
Literally.
There was no reflection in the mirror.
Rubbing his eyes with his fingers, his reflection appeared again, following his every move.
Maybe i'm just tired.
Somehow, he doubted it.

Morning was a simple affair, these last few days.
Wake up at 5:30, exercise a bit to wake up completely, take a quick shower, go to the kitchen and start brewing tea until everyone wakes up.
Saber was the first to come into the room, giving him a smile which he returned, and if they looked at each other for a second too long, neither of them commented on it.
Then it was Sakura, who walked into the kitchen while giving him a nod and a smile, turning on the stove.
Lastly, as always, Rider came in stiffling a yawn with her hand, sitting besides Saber silently.
If he was honest with himself, Shirou felt happy, for the first time in years.
Truly happy.
The scene of a happy family having breakfast, ready to begin their day was a memory he missed, but one he cherished.
He looked at the photos beside the TV, and smiled.
He really wanted these days to last, if a little longer. But he knew that they wouldn't.
But the most selfish part of him wished that every morning started like this, for the rest of his life.
The door slammed open, and Taiga announced her presence yelling, like she always did.
Shirou laughed softly.
"SHIROUUUUU I NEED FOOD!"
It took a while to defeat the (hungry) beast, and a simple breakfast later, the group went their separate ways, Saber and Rider opted to stay in the house, waiting for a package to arrive, while Sakura and himself went to school after putting on their uniforms.
Sakura went to the archery club, while he started walking towards his other friend, Issei Ryoudou, who greeted him with a small smile.
After hours of boring classes, and a few stares from the History teacher, the redhead boy was making his way towards the Student Council room, greeting an irate Rin on his way, he internally laughed at the angry stare he recieved in response.
With a small smile, he opened the door and took a sit in front of his new patient.
The Teacher's Microwave.
A quick scan with Structural Analysis showed him which cables needed to be replaced, so he chose to take his time with it, waiting until his friend arrived with the tea he promised.
The door opened a few minutes earlier, the blue haired president entered the room with measured steps, much to Shirou's confusion.
Issei sat in the chair right in front of him, looking straight into his eyes with a blank stare. Shirou tried to go back to his work, ignoring the look from his friend was giving him.
"Shirou, if that really is your name" What the fuck? "I want an explanation" Issei's tone was hard, much to his confusion.
The redhead looked at his friend confused, as if he had just told him he was turning to christianity.
"...An explanation?"
"Indeed" His tone became deeper, obviously forced. "I've heard unsavory rumors about two foreign women staying in your house, and as your friend, i am worried they might do something to you"
Understandable, have a great day.
It felt strangely nice to have someone worry about him like that.
"Alright, i suppose there's nothing wrong in telling you."
Under Issei's sharp gaze, he told him the cover story they came up with. His friend kept silent during while he spoke.
Issei looked at him for a few seconds, the silence in the room became deafening ohgoddidheslipuporsomething-
"I belive you"
Oh thank god.
"But enough jokes" What part of their conversation was the joke? Shirou was completely lost at this point. "Did something happen Shirou? You seem… different."
"Different? In what way?"
"Well, i can only speak for myself of course, but i've never seen you so happy in the years we've known each other."
Shirou kept silent for a few seconds, before a small smile formed on his face.
"Well, i met this girl…"
Much to Issei's shock, Shirou giggled and went back to the microwave, completely ignoring his friends questions.
Some classes (and questions) later, Shirou made his way to the Market to buy ingredients for dinner, while Sakura agreed to go home first in order to prepare the kitchen (in case Saber ate everything, again).
Shirou smiled as he paid for the chicken he just bought, until he turned arround and found a white haired girl staring at him, a cold smile on her face.
"Hello again, dear brother."
Hello everyone, Enhance here, enjoying a pizza until i remembered i had a story to write.
Yeah i uh, i don't have an excuse this time, i literally forgot i had started writing this two weeks ago when i bought Persona 5 Royal.
Persona 5 fan finally plays Persona 5 for the first time, seven years after its original release.
First off all, even if it takes a while, i will finish this story, i will not let my first story ever be abandoned or something like that.
Second of all, this is the shortest chapter i've written, mainly because i wanted to make another interlude as i'm still working on the details of the next few chapters (with 100% more Illya prescence). A bit boring, but my personal favorite of them.
I LOVE CHARACTERS PROGRESSING, I LOVE WHEN A CHARACTER FACES PROBLEMS BOTH INSIDE AND OUT, ALLOWING THEM TO GROW AS PEOPLE AND NOT LETTING THEM BECOME STAGNANT AS THE PLOT HAPPENS.
I LOVE WHEN A CHARACTER FACES TURMOIL, BUT THEY STAND STRONG BELIEVING IN THEIR IDEALS OR CHANGE THEM ACCORDING TO THEM MATURING, BECAUSE NO PERSON STAYS THE SAME DURING THEIR LIFE.
I LOVE SHIROU EMIYA, KY KISKE AND EDWARD ELRIC.

Thanks to everyone still reading this story, i can't promise weekly updates anymore, but i won't leave this story abandoned.
And hey, if you want to make your own story with this idea, go ahead, i fully believe there is someone among you guys (GETOUTOFMYHEAD) that could write it better than i do.
I hope you have a nice valentines!
...What do you mean we're halfway through march?
