The charred and mangled husks of tanks, helicopters, and buildings surrounded the White Glint. Inside of it, Strayed kept a straight face as he listened to the White Glint's AI tell him, "Mission accomplished."
Strayed had the White Glint lift off and speed away once again.
A few days later, the news showed the headline "Strayed attacks China!" along with a female reporter.
"A few days ago, the heartless criminal known only as 'The Strayed' attacked and destroyed the Chinese Yuchi Naval Base, slaughering its garrison to the last man along with a relief force of tanks, helicopters, and infantry from the People's Liberation Army Ground Force. A spokesperson for the Chinese Communist Party has allegedly said, 'This infamous destroyer has caused our people enough suffering that our plans to unify the rebellious province of Taipei have been derailed and we will not rest until 'The Strayed' has been put to the sword!' This brazen attack shows that Strayed does not care for borders or political boundaries and will continue his mass murder spree if he is not stopped. A long string of bizarre murders that have taken place across the world that may be connected to Strayed has also not ceased despite the efforts of police agencies." the reporter stated.
Within the White Glint, Strayed kept his eye on the target monitor.

Strayed snarled as the White Glint activated its Overboost again and sped off into the sky, eager to spill blood once more.
