Chapter 6

HEDGEHOGS

The palace was shaking and collapsing and all the guards were running away

General Gong: What's going on here? Is this an earthquake or has Brevon attacked again?

I: Worse than what you thinking.

Suddenly, the ceiling above the general's head exploded and two hedgehogs appeared holding each other's necks while falling.

Sonic/Shadow: I will never lose to you!

Then, before they hit the ground, they kicked each other, but their kicks collided and caused them to separate. Shadow used Chaos Snap and teleported back to Sonic. When he threw his fist at Sonic, he felt like he lost a hundredth of a second in the fight. Before the punch collided, Sonic grabbed Shadow's hand and threw him against the wall.

Shadow gathered himself in the air and landed on the wall with his feet.

Shadow: Time Skip? Looks like someone practiced.

Sonic landed on the ground.

Shadow's thoughts: Unpredictable as always. To be able to counter Chaos Snap, he created a technique similar to Time Skip.

The two hedgehogs start by charging Spin dash and when they are fully charged, they stand on their two legs and shout: Max Speed Mode

The hedgehogs suddenly disappeared and thousands of shock waves appeared in the air. Nothing could be seen because this fight was faster than the eyes.

Shadow jumps into the air and shouts Chaos Spear and throws his deadly spears toward Sonic, but Sonic easily jumps through the spears, but before hitting Shadow uses Chaos Control to teleport all the spears in front of Sonic. He does, but Sonic was ready for this attack and destroys all the spires with Sonic Boom. When all the spears are destroyed, Shadow appears above Sonic's head with Chaos Snap and tries to hit Sonic with Stomp, but Sonic reverses in the air and blocks the impact with his legs, but the momentum of Stomp makes them move towards the ground. Before the full collision, Sonic raises his hands and slows down the acceleration of the fall, and kicks Shadow in the face, which causes Shadow to be thrown back.

Shadow starts to spin before hitting the ground and attacks Sonic with a Drop dash. Sonic manages to dodge using time skip by jumping up, but Shadow in Spin mode, when he was passing under Sonic, makes a vertical jump, hits Sonic in the stomach, and throws Sonic into the air, but before Sonic Takes a distance, Shadow teleports parallel to Sonic's height and kicks Sonic like Leon in Resident Evil 4. Instead of being thrown, Sonic started spinning steadily and instead of stopping spinning, he used the momentum of the spin and kicked Shadow hard.

Shadow jumped towards the pillar and hit the pillar and then crushed the pillar. Sonic took the opportunity and started firing dozens of Homing Shots. Shadow quickly gathered himself and began dodging attacks in the air using the abilities of the Air Shoes.

Shadow: After all this time, is this what you have in your bag? Come on Sonic, I know you can be better than this.

Suddenly Sonic appeared next to Shadow with an aura of electricity and said: I was just doing the initial softening.

Sonic and Shadow looked around and realized that the entire palace was destroyed.

Shadow: We are really sorry for this incident, now we will repair the whole palace like before this fight.

Then Sonic and Shadow used the Chaos Emeralds and turned back the palace's time and the palace became a battle between two hedgehogs like before.

The general was staring at the two hedgehogs with his mouth on the ground.

The two hedgehogs acted as if nothing had happened

General Gong: Are you two friends?

Sonic and Shadow turned and looked at the general with a scared face

Sonic/Shadow: I'm not friends with this guy.

The general, who was afraid of their power and drowned in his own sweat, chose silence.

Sonic: Anyway, I came to find the emerald thief, which I did. give me an emerald

Shadow: I had fun. Take this emerald.

Shadow threw an emerald at Sonic and Sonic caught it.

Sonic: All right, I'm going back to the island.

Rochus: I have an important mission for you.

Rochus: He came back and destroyed the palace with his friend this morning, but then repaired the palace again. He says that he found Lilac half-spirited and said that he might even find a way to save her. I still don't trust him and I want you to monitor his and his friend's every move.

Askal: With pleasure sir.

Rochus: But do not fight them under any circumstances. Their power is probably even greater than Merga herself.

Askal: Then why are you sending me?

Rochus: Those two do not have a good relationship, they are probably the main rivals. If you separate them and unite with Merga, you might have a chance.

The scorpion jumped into the air and started spraying acids on its tail. As the acids approached Sonic, they suddenly stopped in mid-air.

Shadow stopped the tour using Time Stop and then changed his place with one of the robots with Chaos Control. When the robot moved and got caught in the net of the attacking robot, all the robots focused on Shadow's voice.

Shadow: Feel the ultimate power!

Suddenly, a rain of Chaos Spear rained on all the robots and all the robots turned into ashes.

Shadow: I really want to know what Sonic is doing.

A place where Merga is present.

Sonic: Wait, what happens to my moment of brilliance?

I: You wanted not to interfere in my work.

Merga: What are you doing here?

Askal: I came here to ask you for help.

Merga: Did you seek help from the strongest warrior of the water dragon race? I am not the strongest anymore, I was defeated by Lilac in a fair battle.

Askal: Unfortunately, Lilac has been missing for more than a month.

Merga with shock: What?!

Askal: He disappeared after we sent him to investigate. Apparently, someone stole Lilac and I dragged him and his colleague here.

Merga: Do you want me to kill them?

Askal: Honestly, no. Those two hedgehogs are much stronger than us, but because of their relationship, I don't think they can work together. If we can make those two enemies with each other with a calculated plan, we have a chance to win.

Merga: So where are those two now?

*sound of breaking stone and wall*

Askal: Very close. We better hide.

A few seconds later

Sonic and Shadow broke the walls of their path and entered the main event

Sonic/Shadow: And the winner is none other than... Damn this **** luck.

The two hedgehogs get angry at being tied for the millionth time, but they realize that the room is empty.

Sonic: It's like Mrs. Merga isn't here. Hmm, I was joking, Askal.

Shadow: You weren't the only one who doubted the other side.

Shadow and Sonic, who had secretly followed Rochus, were under the ceiling of the operating room listening to the conversation between Rochus and Askal.

Present

Sonic: We didn't want to disappoint you too much, that's why we didn't pretend we didn't know anything and then trap you. Mrs. Merga, can you show us yourself? Everything Askal told you is a big misunderstanding.

Merga jumped out of hiding and landed in front of Sonic.

Sonic: Askal, is this lady really a water dragon? Lilac is much more beautiful than this lady.

Merga: I was genetically altered.

Askal: Merga, maybe the plan is ruined, but we have to fight these criminals, they are big threats.

Shadow: If we wanted to be a threat to this planet, one emerald would be enough to destroy the entire planet. Not even an emerald was needed to conquer this planet.

Merga: You are very sure of your power.

Merga suddenly attacked Shadow, but when Shadow looked at Merga, Merga suddenly stopped.

Merga: Apparently, I don't stand a chance against you two.

Sonic slowly approached Merga and put his hand on Merga's back.

Sonic: Well, Shadow, I'll take Merga to that island, and do whatever you have to do. CHAOS CONTROL.

A green light appeared and after it disappeared, Sonic and Merga were no longer there.

Askal surprised: Wh... what was that?

Shadow: It's called Chaos Control. By using this technique, you can turn some of your thoughts into reality.

Askal was shocked and thought to himself that there is really a way to stop these two hedgehogs.

undiscovered island

Sonic teleported Merga to the island to help them find The END servers.

Merga asked in surprise: "What?" What happened? Where are we now?

Sonic: We are on an undiscovered island that seems to belong to water dragons that surfaced for unknown reasons.

When Sonic finished talking, a purple energy attacked Sonic and hit him and Sonic was thrown nearly 7 meters.

Lilac: Your sense of preservation is really awful.

Sonic recognized the voice and looked at the attackers in surprise

Sonic: Lilac? But how could you get your body back?

Lilac: Your friend helped me.

Sonic: I have many friends, who exactly do you mean?

A girl's voice: She means me.

A familiar voice reached Sonic's ears from among the trees and bushes, but that voice was not pleasant for Sonic at all.

A girl with white hair and a black dress with a red glitch showed herself to Sonic

Sonic: Sage!

Sonic took a fighting pose and said to Sage: What are you doing here?

Lilac asked with surprise: I thought you were friends!

Sonic: We are temporary allies at best.

Sage: I am the daughter of his biggest enemy, naturally he is not happy to see me.

Merga: It's getting very strange. Can someone explain to me what is going on here?

Lilac noticed Merga and quickly moved towards her.

Lilac: Merga, I'm glad you're still alive!

Merga: Nothing like that can't kill me, but the questions that were asked to me can. Can you explain everything to me? And the hedgehog and you are a creature that I don't know what you are, it's better to form a temporary alliance and then tell me with Lilac what's going on here.

Sonic frowned: Okay.
