Thunderbirds & Dr Who (Tenth Doctor)
They ran into the TARDIS, laughing and grinning at each other until they reached the console.
The Doctor turned to Donna and grinned. Donna grinned back.
'Where to now? The universe, as your Grandad might say, is your oyster!'
Donna looked thoughtful for a moment before another bigger grin spread over her face.
'Why don't we let the Tardis decide this time?'
'The Tardis?'
'Yeah! It's not like she drops us off exactly where we want to be every time.'
'True. But then she does drop us off exactly where we need to be.'
Donna nodded and watched as the Doctor patted the console affectionately.
'Well, where shall we go?'
He flipped a switch and pulled a lever and the Tardis groaned. But she didn't move. The Doctor frowned, cocked his head for a minute then whipped his psychic paper from his inside pocket.
'We're getting a heavily encrypted message.'
'How do you know that?'
He held the paper up for her to read. It said:
We're getting a heavily encrypted message.'
Donna shrugged. She still hadn't quite got her head around that paper. The Doctor was lost in thought for a moment before he sprang around the console, flipping switches and pushing buttons and the Tardis made a clear ringing sound like a bell.
The screen on the wall came to life and words appeared on it.
'Doctor. You are needed. I have discovered an anomaly. Please rendezvous at the following co-ordinates. The Dawn.'
'Who's Dawn?' Donna asked.
'Dunno,' replied the Doctor, still moving things around the console.
More words appeared:
'Imperative you meet Gordon Tracy in secret. No one else can know.'
They looked at each other.
'Well then. We better be off.'
And the Doctor pushed the lever.
