Donut Friendship – BONUS II
"Ugh…" Nezuko mumbled annoyed
"Hmm? What's wrong, Nezuko?" Makomo asked as she sat next to her friend
At the moment, Nezuko and Makomo were sitting in the school cafeteria. As they were eating together, Makomo was as always full of energy, while Nezuko just mumbled and slowly ate her food.
"Makomo… this sucks…" Nezuko replied and glanced at her
"Nezuko, what happened?" Makomo asked concerned
Nezuko took a deep breath and replied.
"Well… I have been working at our family bakery for the last couple of weeks… so I didn't have much time to study. Because of that, I failed a couple of tests now, and if this continues, I will be in serious trouble." Nezuko replied
"Oh no!" Makomo gasped as she heard that
"So now, I need to repeat a few tests and… I am really bad at studying… yeah…" Nezuko added
Feeling bad for her friend, Makomo thought about it. She would have loved to help her. Sadly, her own grades weren't the best neither.
"HUH! I got it! Nezuko!" Makomo said with a smile as she got an idea
"W-What is it, Makomo?" Nezuko asked
"Why don't you just ask somebody to help you study? I am sure that you could find someone who is good at studying!" said Makomo
Hearing that, Nezuko thought about it. It would be really helpful if somebody would help her, but there wasn't anyone that she could think of. Most of her friends were also average at studying, and her brother wasn't exactly the brightest…
"Hmmm… do you know someone that could help me, Makomo?" Nezuko asked as she glanced at her
Thinking for a second, Makomo smiled again and replied.
"Yes, I do!"
"Really?! Who?!" Nezuko asked eagerly
"Do you remember the time we had a sleepover at your bakery, and when we met that boy and girl?" Makomo asked
"Oh, you mean Kaigaku and Ume? Yes, I remember them!" Nezuko replied
Makomo nodded and continued.
"I told that story to my brother, and he said that he knew Kaigaku! Apparently, Kaigaku is an honor student and one of the best students at the academy!" Makomo explained
"Ah! Really?!" Nezuko asked
"Yes! And he is really friendly! I am sure that he could help you!" Makomo replied
Thinking about it, Nezuko smiled and agreed. She knew Kaigaku, and she even worked with him. They were on really good terms, and he seemed like a good guy.
"Yes! You are right! I will go ask him right away!" said Nezuko and got up
"Oh, I think I saw him over there a few minutes ago!" said Makomo and pointed to the other side of the cafeteria
"Thank you! Then I will go ask him right away! See you later Makomo, bye!" said Nezuko with a smile and left

On the other side of the cafeteria, Kaigaku was waiting in line for his lunch. Luckily for him, the line moved fast this day. After a couple of seconds, it was his turn.
"Here you go…" said the kitchen staff as he handed him his plate
"Thanks." Kaigaku replied and turned around, ready to leave, but something wasn't right…

"…"
"Huh?" Kaigaku mumbled confused as he turned around again and took a closer look at the kitchen staff

"Mister… Kokushibo?" he said confused as he saw Kokushibo standing in the school kitchen, giving out meals to the students
"Yes?" Kokushibo replied with a plain expression
Kokushibo was wearing a white apron as he was standing behind the counter and giving out meals to the students.
"Why are… you here?" Kaigaku asked and he blinked a few times
"I will brief you later. Now, I need to make sure that my cover isn't blown …" Kokushibo replied
Hearing that, Kaigaku blinked a few times again and nodded.
"A-Alright. Have fun…" he replied and slowly left
"Why is here… is he on another undercover mission?" he thought to himself
As he was thinking about it and trying to find a place to sit, he could suddenly hear his name.
"Ah! There you are, Kaigaku!" said a female voice
Turning around, Kaigaku saw Nezuko, running towards him, with a big smile on her face.
"Y-You?! W-What is it?" he asked as he faced her
"Kaigaku! I need your help, please!"said Nezuko
"My help? Huh… with what?" Kaigaku asked while he was holding his lunch
"Hahahaha… can we sit down somewhere, and I will explain?" Nezuko asked with an awkward smile

The two sat down at a table and Nezuko began explaining.
"Kaigaku! You're an honor student, right? And you're also good at studying, yes?" asked Nezuko
"Yes… Why do you ask? Do you need help with something?" Kaigaku asked
Nezuko took a deep breath, put her hands together and bowed her head.
"YES! PLEASE HELP ME STUDY, OR I AM DOOMED!" said Nezuko with her eyes closed
"Ugh!" Kaigaku mumbled surprised as he saw her
"PLEASE! YOU ARE MY ONLY HOPE! IF YOU HELP ME, THEN I WILL GIVE YOU A FREE BAG OF DONUTS!" Nezuko continued
"AGH! OK! OK! But please, stop now! People are looking at us!" Kaigaku replied as he noticed the students around him looking at them
"Huh! You will? Thank you so much! You're the best!" Nezuko said with a big smile
"Ehm… sure… haha…" Kaigaku replied and laughed awkwardly
"So, ehm… what do you need help with?" he asked
"Math!" Nezuko replied
"Ok. That isn-" Kaigaku replied
"And history!" Nezuko added
"Sure… We can-"
"And biology!" Nezuko added
"Ok…"
"And geography!" Nezuko added
"…huh?" Kaigaku mumbled confused as he looked at her
"And English!" Nezuko added
"…" Kaigaku just blinked
"And Japanese!" Nezuko added again with a smile
"…" Kaigaku didn't say anything, and was just staring at her
"…"
"N-Nezuko?" he said
"Yes?" Nezuko replied
"Are you… failing all of your classes?" he asked
"…"
"…"
"Maybe…" Nezuko replied awkwardly and looked away
"…"
"Oh boy…" Kaigaku said annoyed, as he thought about all the work it would take to help her…
