Son Goku, one of the last surviving pure-blooded Saiyans had transformed into a Super Saiyan God. He had stood face-to-face with the God of Destruction, Beerus within the Briefs backyard.

Broly gasped, curiously as he, too, along with Goku's friends and family were watching the battle that has yet to take place. They had all moved many yards away as they did not want to be caught within the crossfire.

Vegeta crossed his arms and kept his eyes sharp as he, too, was waiting for the fight to start.

Son Goku had inhaled some air for a second, and then exhaled the next. A bluish-green aura flowed around Son Goku's body as he was prepared to fight.

Suddenly, an orange butterfly, which had flown from a tree had landed on a pink flower near Goku's feet. The moment the orange butterfly had landed onto the flower... Son Goku had made a charge and landed the first attack. Son Goku had charged toward Beerus the Destroyer and let out a yell as he did. Son Goku had thrown a strong right punch, which Beerus had caught with his right hand.

Beerus could feel the weight and pressure of Goku's punch thrown at him. He struggled a bit to keep Goku's right arm in place.

Vegeta gasped, then growled as he witnessed Goku's arm pushing toward Beerus. Both Broly and Tarble were beginning to feel amazed as they watched Goku fight Beerus.

"So, tell me. How does it feel becoming the Super Saiyan God?" Beerus asked as he pushed Goku's arm back a bit.

"It's incredible..." Goku smiled.

"I see. This power surprises you." Beerus said, then attempted to throw a punch from his left arm at Goku's face.

Goku gasped when he saw the punch coming, then jumped back.

"It's taking you time to fathom what you can do now." Beerus smiled, then floated thousands of feet up within the air. Goku then followed Beerus high into the blue sky.

"Hey, they're leaving!" Bulma had pointed out as she stretched her right arm out and pointed her right index finger towards Goku.

Son Goku and Beerus the Destroyer had then thrown multiple attacks at each other as they had flown directly toward downtown West City. No buildings were damaged, and no person was hurt as the Saiyan and the purple cat Destroyer had kept their fight above the West City skyline.

"Yes, good. Now, you are getting it." Beerus commented on Goku keeping up with him.

Goku frowned as he stared at Beerus.

"What? You seem disappointed." Beerus asked as he noticed the frown on Goku's face.

"Honestly, I am." Goku said.

"Why? Don't you like being a deity?" Beerus asked, assuming that Goku wanted to be the Super Saiyan God.

"I do-but it's not the power. It's what it took to get it." Goku said.

"I don't follow you on this one." Beerus said, feeling curious.

Goku then looked at his hands, which is surrounded by blue and green aura. "It's a level of strength that I can't reach on my own."

"And that limit upsets you?" Beerus asked.

"Yeah." Goku nodded. Then, he glanced his eyes all the way down at West City. He knew there were innocent people there and he didn't want them to get hurt. He stayed silent for a moment.

"What?"

"Um... I have a question." Goku said.

"What is it?" Beerus asked.

Goku pointed his left index toward the sky, while floating tens of thousands of feet within the air. "Can we take this fight up a little higher?" Goku chuckled.

"You mean, in space?" Beerus asked.

"Yep."

"I'm not sure if Saiyans' lungs could survive the cold vaccuum of space-but, if that's really what you want..." Beerus then flew upward toward space at top speed.

"Alright!" Goku smiled, then flew after Beerus top speed.

One Minute Later...

Son Goku and Beerus the Destroyer were floating inside the cold vaccuum of space-just outside the Earth's ozone layer.

"Is this good enough for you?" Beerus asked.

"Yeah, this is perfect!" Goku said, then charged toward Beerus with more arm and leg attacks toward Beerus.

"Hmph." Beerus would retaliate by fighting back against the Tenacious Saiyan with hand-to-hand combat in space.

The orange Gi-wearing Saiyan and the purple cat destroyer would fight each other for a total of five minutes. Landing non-lethal blow after non-lethal blow upon each other's upper bodies. Beerus felt a bit entertained. Son Goku did not feel fatigued as he fought Beerus, but something had happened without his knowing. The green hair and bluish-green aura that coated Goku's entire body had randomly turned back into the color, gold. Referring that the God Ki within Goku's body had completely drained and that he was within his first Super Saiyan form. But Goku's eyes were still green.

"Heh." Beerus chuckled as he watched Goku's bluish-green hair turn back into gold.

"What's so funny?" Goku asked as he saw Beerus chuckle.

"Oh, nothing. Give me your best shot." Beerus said.

"Okay!" Goku, whom was in his first Super Saiyan form had then placed two fingers on his forehead and begun to Instant Transmission. Teleporting around Beerus in an attempt to confuse him. Goku had teleported around Beerus a total of ten times. The tenth time was behind Beerus' left air.

"Hm?" Beerus turned around and saw Goku generating a Kamehameha wave with his hands.

"KAMEHAMEHA!" Goku screamed as he had pushed his hands forward, firing a big and strong Kamehameha wave toward Beerus the Destroyer.

Beerus stood and floated in place as the blue Kamehameha had blasted towards him. He did not flinch or scream. He just simply smiled and put his left hand forward in front of him. In the next second, Beerus' left hand had collided with Goku's Kamehameha wave, causing a large and loud explosion outside of the Earth's ozone layer.

Meanwhile, on Earth...

All of Goku's friends and family remained in the exact same spot they were in the Briefs' backyard. Some of Goku's friends gasped in awe as they saw a massive blue light within the sky and heard a large explosion noise.

"I think that's Goku's Kamehameha!" Krillin had guessed.

"Tch!" Vegeta growled. 'Dammit, Kakarot is always hogging all the fun!'

Broly blinked as he looked up to the sky. He did not know what was happening. Broly acted curious and decided to fly all the way up toward up to space without saying a word or informing any of Goku's friends and family.

"H-Hey! Broco-what's his name, again?" Bulma had called Broly, only for her words to fall on deaf ears.

"Where's he going?" Tien asked.

"Tch!" Vegeta grunted as he saw Broly flying into space. He then followed behind Broly.

"Vegeta! Not you, too!" Bulma yelled as she saw Vegeat fly into space.

Meanwhile, in Space...

After the smoke had cleared, Beerus floated in place-as he had not been damaged by Goku's Kamehameha at all. He drew his left hand back to himself, then suddenly sensed Goku who was on his right.

"Hyaah!" Goku shouted as he attempted to kick Beerus, who dodged by flying a few hundreds of feet upward.

"You know, that attack was a bit... shiny." Beerus commented on Goku's Kamehameha wave as he floated above Goku.

"What?" Goku asked.

"But, let's see you deal with this one!" Beerus the clasped his hands together, then generated a small orange energy sphere.

"What is that?" Goku asked as he stared at Beerus' hands.

Within an instant, the small orange sphere had suddenly grown bigger and bigger, until it was the size of the Bulma's neighborhood in West City. He lifted the sphere over his head with both hands and threw it toward Son Goku. "Hah!"

Goku gasped. "I can't let that blast hit the Earth!" Goku then charged toward the massive sphere and pressed against it with both of his hands. He pushed with all his might and power but would come to no avail. He was the one being pushed, instead of the sphere. "Come on! Why won't my God Form work?" Goku yelled.

"Evidentially, you haven't noticed, yet, have you?" Beerus asked as he floated and watched.

"Noticed what?" Goku asked.

"That your God Ki had ran out before you launched that Ki wave at me." Beerus told Goku, which shocked him.

Goku gasped, while pressing his hands against Beerus' massive orange sphere. "Seriously?"

"It seems that when you fought me in your God form, your body learned from the experience. Nearly feeling that level of power must've pushed you into new heights. Even though your God Ki had run out, your true power is as much greater than before. You are a true fighting warrior. A few I've ever seen in this Universe." Beerus had noted as he continued to watch Goku struggle against his massive orange sphere.

Goku grunted and continued to struggle. "If this energy ball wasn't wasn't trying to destroy the Earth, then I would feel happy about it."

"Yes. You should be. It's all yours. Embrace it." Beerus smiled.

"I can't right now, because the Earth is about to be destroyed-if I don't try to stop this! You're too strong!" Goku noted.

"Then, give up and except yours and the entire Earth's fate!" Beerus yelled, then fired a God Ki wave toward the sphere that he had flung toward Goku. Pushing it toward the Earth.

For an entire minute, Goku tried his best to push the massive orange Sphere away from Earth. But, was failing as the sphere was currently pushing Goku towards Earth. Goku was pushed back into Earth's ozone layer in the Earth's sky.

"Come on! Come on! Push back!" Goku yelled as he continued to push against massive sphere. As Goku kept pushing and pushing... he suddenly made a gasp, then lost consciousness. His golden Super Saiyan hair had reverted to his signature black hairstyle and his pupils had turned black, once more.

Vegeta and Broly, whom were flying at top speed toward the massive orange sphere had witnessed Goku collapsing in the air, near the ozone layer. Both of the Saiyans had shocked expressions on their face as they saw Goku's unconscious body.

"K-Kakarot..." Vegeta muttered.

"Ka... karot. Kaka... kakarot... Kakarot..." Broly muttered Goku's Saiyan name over and over again. And then, suddenly. Something had awakened inside of Broly. Everything around Broly had gone black and a red beam just suddenly fired beside him. Implying that something had snapped. Broly clenched his fists, tightly and his Ki had begun rising.

Vegeta gasped, when he suddenly sensed Broly's Ki rising. "Huh? Who's power is-" Vegeta looked over at Broly and saw his hair was slowly spiking upward and a green aura coating his body. "What? Broly?" Vegata looked closer at Broly and noticed that eyes were now turning gold. 'What's gotten into him?'

"KAKAROT!" Broly yelled in shock and anger as he appeared to be in his Wrathful form. Broly's voice had broken the sound barrier, reaching Goku-despite drowning in Beerus' massive orange sphere.

Goku then gasped as he had then regained consciousness inside of Beerus' massive Sphere. 'Broly?' Then suddenly, Goku had thought of his loved ones whom were all on the Earth's surface.

Within Goku's Mind

Everything within Goku's mind was pitch black. He couldn't see anything. He couldn't feel anything. It was like he was inside of a pitch black ocean made of void and nothingness.

"Goku!" Chi-Chi had cried within Goku's mind as she appeared before him, crying.

Goku gasped when he heard a feminine voice. 'That voice...'

"Goku!" Chi-Chi cried again.

'Chi-Chi!' Goku had thought of his strong-willed wife, Chi-Chi.

"Goku!" Goku's friends, such as Krillin... Piccolo... Tien... Yamcha... Bulma and the rest had all cried within Goku's mind. His father-in-law, the Ox King and his brother-in-law, Hercule Satan were present in his mind.

'Krillin! Piccolo! Tien! Yamcha! Bulma! Chiaotzu! Ox-King! Mister Satan!' Goku chanted as he visualized most of his friends.

"Goku!" Master Roshi chanted.

'Master Roshi!' Goku had thought of.

"Dad!" Both Gohan and Goten had cried within Goku's mind, as well.

'Gohan! Goten!' Goku had thought of his sons.

"Kakarot!" Prince Vegeta, Prince Tarble and last but not least, Broly. They all had chanted within his mind.

'Vegeta! Tarble! Broly! Everyone!' Goku had thought, then gripped his fists, tightly. "Tch!"

Back in Reality

"It's over." Beerus muttered as he watched Son Goku be swallowed by his sphere of Destruction. "This is goodbye to you and your planet, Saiyan. But, the match has finally come to a close." Beerus had turned his back around and waited for the sound of his sphere of Destruction to make contact with the Earth's core. He waited an entire minute and noticed there was no sounds. "Hm?" Beerus had turned back around to see that the Earth was not exploding and that his Sphere of Destruction was nowhere to be seen. He opened his left eye a bit bigger. Wondering where Goku was. 'Where did it go?' In the next second, Beerus had sensed a familiar Ki coming from behind.

"Beerus!"

"Hm?" Beerus had slowly turned around to see someone behind him. As he fully turned, he was shocked to see somebody. "What?"

Goku Son had suddenly teleported behind Beerus, using Instant Transmission. As he did, Son Goku had carried the massive sphere over his head with one hand. But he carried the large orange sphere with his left hand. Son Goku's hair and eyes were red, assuming his God Ki form. His Gi had been partially damaged from taking damage from Beerus's massive orange sphere. His orange pants had some tears while his upper orange Gi shirt had been destroyed. Leaving only his blue shirt a bit damaged.

"How is that even possible? That attack should've destroyed you!" Beerus yeeled while feeling shocked. According to him, no one has ever survived or encountered Beerus' Sphere of Destruction.

"This is what happens when you threaten the Earth! My home!" Son Goku yelled. "Now, take this!" Goku had then thrown Beerus' sphere over his head and tossed it directly back at Beerus in a similar fashion of him throwing the Spirit Bomb.

With in a moment's time as when the Sphere of Destruction was hurling toward Beerus... Goku had grown fatigued as he then ran out of strength. He had used everything he had to carry that Sphere of Destruction and teleport it toward Beerus the Destroyer.

As the Sphere of Destruction was hurling toward Beerus's way in a fast pace, Beerus' look of surprise and shock had quickly turned into a look of calmness. He raised his right hand forward toward his own Sphere of Destruction and used one of his fingers to flick away the massive orange sphere upward toward space and away from the Earth like a beach ball. A moment later, the Sphere of Destruction had imploded, in space like a tiny exploding star. Beerus looked up and watched his sphere implode into space. aAfter a second, he looked directly toward Goku, who was fatigued and a bit injured.

"Huff... huff..." Goku had panted, while in his red-haired God Ki form.

"What is that form?" Beerus asked.

"Huh? Form?" Goku asked in retaliation.

"Your hair and your eyes had suddenly turned red. Is that a new power of the Super Saiyan God?" Beerus had assumed.

"To be honest, Lord Beerus-I don't know. I'm too tired and too weak to even check out this new form I have." Goku had chuckled then panted, repeatedly.

"You're a fascinating creature. But I'm afraid that this fantastic fight must come to an abrupt end." Beerus chuckled, then raised his left hand out toward Son Goku's direction. His body glowed with purple aura.

Goku did not have an ounce of fear with his heart as Beerus had generated destructive aura around him. "Heh. I give up."

"Do you?" Beerus asked.

"Yeah." Goku had nodded, weakly. "I put everything I had throwing that last attack back at you. I've given it all I got-and there's still no way I can beat you. You're still the strongest in the whole Universe."

"Well, I'm happy to see that you're finally acknowledging the full terror of Beerus the Destroyer." Beerus then dashed toward Son Goku with immense speed, then chopped him on the back of his neck.

"Guah!" Goku gauged as he felt Beerus' strike to his neck. Son Goku had quikly passed out and his red hair and eyes had quickly reverted back to black.

Beerus then grabbed the back of Goku's blue shirt and carried him back down to the Earth's surface. Beerus decided to drop him back down at Capsule Corporation where he and Goku's fight had began. Son Goku's friends and family were in wait, but most of Goku's friends were shocked to see Beerus carrying Goku.

"Goku!" Chi-Chi cried as she ran toward Goku.

Beerus dropped Goku on his face on the grass.

Prince Vegeta and Broly had just arrived back at Capsule Corporation only to see Goku visibly defeated by Beerus the Destroyer.

"Kakarot!" Vegeta yelled.

Broly was horrified to see Goku down and injured. He had assumed that Beerus had killed Goku. This begun to make Broly angry. Angry to the point where he wanted to attack Lord Beerus.

"No!" Vegeta said raising his left arm, stopping Broly from attacking Beerus. "You can't beat him." He told Broly with a serious face.

"He's alive, but just passed out!" Krillin had stated as he checked the pulse on Goku's neck. This caused a bit of relief from Goku's friends and family. Knowing that he was alive.

"Now, then." Beerus said, catching everyone's attention and making them gasp. "Time to do what I was promised. And that is to destroy Earth."

Those words had brought horror to Son Goku's friends and family as they listened to Beerus threaten the Earth once more.

Beerus then generated purple destructive Ki as he did, before and raised it toward Son Goku's friends and family.

Son Goku had remained passed out.
