In the light, there is a darkness and in the darkness a light. It is the way with us all.

Be prisoner of neither Bogan nor Ashla. Strive to live in balance. As Tython itself teaches us, it is dangerous to do otherwise. And the danger is there – always.

Teachings of the ancient Je'daii Order.

Deep within the Jedi Temple on Coruscant the Sinner slumbered a waking dream or was it a real nightmare she wasn't sure either. All she knew was that she heart voices around her whispering and shushing at each other. Maybe the time was ripe and she was finally going insane. There were the voices once more this time louder and she thought she heart something like metal scratching against metal making a horrible and insufferable noise, which made her wish she wasn't constrained here and could press her hands against her ears to at least deafen that noise a little bit not silence it but just deafen it. Then there was silence once again nothing happened and it seemed like centuries have passed while she was completely still not even breathing to notice every single change in the environment but there was none.

Which she found rather weird. She was sure she heart something maybe she really went insane and soon may die, she considered this for a moment and a sign of relief flushed over her face finally being free of that infernal prison death seemed like a rather sweet relief for her. As she was wallowing in her own self-pity the noises seemed to return once more this time closer. This time she tried to make sure to listen to them rather carefully to not miss a single detail. She thought she misheard it sounded exactly like the sound of combat lightsabre against lightsabre but who would fight down here and who exactly besides the Grand Master knew of this place in the first place weird. How pellicular she thought as she licked her lips in anticipation of what may come.

She concentrated once more on the sound and on the environment itself, she couldn't believe it herself but it was a fact she couldn't miss and she was quite happy, although she found herself to be quite the fools to not have noticed that, but apparently over the Millenia her constraints holding her in place grew weaker, which she noted she was in stasis which was quite odd maybe a technological error, but nothing she herself should concern with such trivial matters. She concentrated and began to gather the force around her, which was rather difficult as this room was designed in such a fashion to keep her imprisoned in here and negate any potential threat that may arise by keeping most of the force energy outside only during the short visits of the various Grand Masters could some force energy come into the prison but not any other way. Something she the Sinner didn't know nor cared even if she were told about. "My will is still strong and the day of my vengeance will come soon," she screamed at the wall but none answered but this didn't dismay her at all.

Once more she tried to breathe regularly and concentrate on it like her life depended on it. After doing this for a short while her eyes burned in a violet hue. She felt once more empowered, soon the violet hue enveloped her upper body completely and then swallowed her whole, which she let happened while grinning like a maniac. Her laughter echoed from the walls from the prison back to her. Now she was once more an avatar of vengeance and justice something she liked to call herself that, so that she could justify the killing of many even those she once considered allies. An extension of her violet form crept at a slow pace up her arm until finally reaching on of the chains keeping her in place, this happened simultaneously over all her body and all of the five chains were covered in this violet eerie hue, shimmering, and sometimes even turning red. Then the chains were eroded by the sudden and utter power surge and became little more than dust. The Sinner fell down to the ground and realized she had to escape somehow still. She had to use her strength to tear down those walls to find the exit as the prison was still rotating and only came to a standstill when someone from the outside requested entry.

"What was this noise," one of the prison guardians asked with a puzzling tone. One of his fellow guardians just shrugged indicating it was nothing and they should just stand still and be on high alert. Then all of them noticed the noise once more now all of them were on high alert. Now all of them were confused and then they heard a voice a voice from someone rather young and female maybe they were not sure and didn't care. They went into position and in the first time since they didn't know they drew their weapons igniting their laser spears and making the passage even narrower by holding their shields in front of them. The high voice was now nearer "We need to free her we did her injustice, come with me the council is blind," someone's voice was reflected to the hall deep below which meant they were near. The guardians gripped their spears hard this meant there was an unrest above and they were uncertain about it. Without a warning the first lightsabre clashed against the shield of the guardian standing on the front. At first, he looked confused but then he retaliated fierce hard and without mercy. The guardians had their own codex and that meant the should ward the prison chamber against anyone or anything and were even allowed to strike mortal wounds and kill their fellow Jedi as long as the chamber was kept safe. The guardian pierced the belly of his attacker with precision and the attacker slumped onto the ground still holding his belly in disbelief as he died. "Attack as one," the voice once more and soon the guardians and these rebellious Jedi were engaged in combat. The guardians having the upper hand during most of the time until the eyes of their commander began to turn violet and sliced the head of the guardian closed to him off. Now the guardians had to find against their own commander and these interlopers as well. "You all shall be worthy sacrifices for my mistress," the commander bellowed.

The temple court yard looked at least a little better than deep underground but still after the genocide of the Republic and the Jedi thousands of years ago came to light many especially younger Jedi considered leaving their order in droves. This was something which hurt the Republic and the Jedi hard since in their darkest hours many commanders for their armies were now missing and turned their back on them. Especially since many of them found this a disregard to their own beliefs of being peace keepers of the galaxy not war bringers and even more so not cold-blooded murderers like they had seen with their own eyes now. The Republic had lost its most powerful defenders and there was rumour of an ancient enemy returning right now when the galaxy was already in a time of conflict and a battlefield. Heated debates were held in the senate but nothing was achieved. Since so many Jedi left many systems once being part of the Republic could no longer be defended and fell into the hands of the Separatists. Especially colonies in the outer rim regions were targeted as there the defence of the Republic wavered their the most. It was a dark day for the self-proclaimed bastion of being good in the galaxy. All of the Republic most fiercest and most cunning enemies encroached on it and in these times the Jedi faced a their own conflict loyalist and rebels one saying it was a necessary evil for the greater good others saying there is no such a thing and soon in both factions emerged fanatics, which would destroy all discussions to settle the dispute in a more peaceful matter and soon Jedi turned against Jedi, Padawan against Master, some tried to keep their distance from it but were forced to join either side so the neutral ones left as well.

This all happened after Anakin and Obi-Wan have left for their mission to find the mysterious attacker and confirm Yoda's suspicions.

The Commander of the guardians stood over the last corpse of a Jedi he felled, since he didn't use a lightsabre anymore but a sword with thousands of sharp needles embedded in it, to savour the pain and torment of his victims the once pristine halls before the entrance to the prison were coloured with the blood of many slain, he stood in a pool of blood now and considered giving in to his desire and lust and just drink it, it looked so refreshing and just smelled so sweet and fresh. He didn't know what to do drink blood or devour fresh corpses. Just imaging the taste of the flesh touching his taste buds made his mouth almost water uncontrollably. He thought "Restrain yourself, savour this feast for later," while licking his lips and showing his with tiny teeth covered tongue. Once he was just a normal human man but he began to modify his body and mind and even this wasn't enough and so he turned to Sith Alchemy turning him into what he now was. A being which stood at three metres tall if at full height his eyes enhanced to see even in the darkest depths, he was able to breathe under water and even regenerate his limbs. His whole body was covered in a thick layer of scales and if he opened his mouth wide four sharp fangs could be seen. He would even sometimes bite his victims to poison them. Cutting of his head would still kill him though, but to achieve this one had to penetrate the protective around his weak spots. Some beings like his mistress and a few others could still kill him so he feared them and served them willingly although he feared them, he was loyal as his loyalty good him rewarded many things he wanted. If his masters made experiments which would enhance one somehow, he would always volunteer. After a few experiments which hadn't the desired result he developed a hunger for the flesh and blood of sentient beings and couldn't stop himself for imagining how he would love to devour them and so he was fed with those that wouldn't be missed. He forgot his own name and everything else after the millennia standing guard in front of the prison of the Sinner. He waited patiently to seize the perfect opportunity to break her free and bring her back into the fold of the true Sith. He himself was once an honorary true Sith since his bloodline couldn't be traced back to the species of the Sith instead he was just a human. Since he was willing to abandon the ways of the Jedi for something greater, he was granted this title he wore with a proudness and he loved to unravel the mysteries of the dark side. Long forgotten and often times mysteries deemed dangerous by others but the emperor had his back and encouraged him to figure out more mysteries on his own. Mysteries the emperor had long ago already unravelled ages ago. His rewards varied from ancient Holocrons or enhancing his body with potent Sith Alchemy he enjoyed it. He was part of the entourage of the Sinner and when it was time for his imprisonment, he feigned regret and the Jedi danced on his palms and they made him guardian commander in hindsight a rather foolish decision and he bid his time still loyal to the true Sith and waiting until she the Sinner could be broken free. Now was the time he could strike once more and shake the very foundation of the well-established ways of the Jedi.

The Sinner felt that the rotating of the chamber suddenly stopped she felt it as she tried to widen her sense of the force outside of the chamber. She could sense the door she concentrated the gathered force energy on the place where the door should be she thought more force energy could be better but she didn't have that luxury so she had to do with what she had gathered already. Carefully she extended both of her hands and imagined the door being blown away by the force power she would unleash concentrated on that one weak spot. The reinforced durasteel was blown away by the powerful force blast giving way to the outside of the chamber into the long hallway. Finally, she could breathe a little fresher air although inside her prison was an air circulation in place the air was still a little bit stale and sometimes suffocating. In front of her kneeled one of the guardians, she pondered why until she sensed the unique aura emanating from this guardian and she knew it was an ally. "Let's leave this place," "Gladly, Mistress. I'm glad you could finally break free of this infernal prison. We may need to secure a getaway quickly. Unless you want to fight, of course." "I won't mind fighting drove of Jedi what is with this corpse on the ground?" "The Jedi are rebelling against each other after figuring out the aftermath of the great hyperspace war. So, they are interlocked in a civil war, while their charge the Republic is locked in a different war." "What a great opportunity to break free." She laughed menacingly.

Several kilometres directly above. Yoda head an alarm ringing an alarm tone he always feared and never wished to hear. He placed an emergency council meeting to warn all of the Masters of the danger now lurking freely amongst them. "The Sinner broken free she has." "You mean the ancient Jedi turned Sith and that during a time where we lose many of our fold. It could be a possibility that many might follow her.
