Hearing a knock on the door to her workroom, Wyn looked up from the jar that had been locked in a dark drawer for the last week. It had turned a rather brilliant sky blue with bits of golden yellows, sandy browns, and charcoal greys mixed in making it look as if a miniature storm was going off within it every few moments. Clearing her throat from the sudden tightness of it, she called out, "Enter."

Seeing Law walk in, she didn't bother trying to smile like she'd been attempting to do for everyone since Bepo had announced that the next island was within sight. Law spoke as his eyes went to the jar sitting on her desk, "It's finished?"

"Just need her to drink it," Wyn saw the confusion and snorted, "It's basically the closest I've come to an actual potion in this world after all," She grimaced a bit and looked back at the jar, "Ten drops would be enough to forget me...I want her to drink the entire jar,"

"Wyn-ya..." Law murmured softly.

Jaw clenching at the soft tone and hating her eyes for burning as she was tired of crying over Rei, Wyn told him, "To ensure the first two times weren't flukes, Law. Because my face is on so many wanted posters and with my feathers being made into jewelry, I...I need to do this."

Part of her just wanted to shatter the damn jar right then and there, Wyn wanted to Rei to remember what had happened. The part of her that was still the lonely little child that just wanted friends howled at losing another friend. But she clenched her fingers and pulled the hand currently hovering over it away from the jar, she looked at Law as he told her, "We dock in two hours. How should we do this?"

"Have her drink it," Wyn answered as she recalled what had happened when the potion had been drunk, "It'll knock her out for an hour. When she comes to, she'll be delirious and struggle to figure out what happened. Depending on how you guys want to play it, the crew can take time to properly send her off however they want,"

"I see," Law was silent for a moment before informing her, "While we on the island, you're to stick with me, Wyn-ya. Alright?"

"Yeah," Wyn nodded her head lightly, "I...yeah,"

Wyn had honestly wanted to stay on the ship, but if she was required to be on the island, she'd go. Law eyed her for a long moment before holding his hand out. She realized what he wanted and slowly grabbed the jar. She hesitated for a moment while turning back to him before slowly handing it over. Law spoke as he put the jar into his pocket, "Wyn-ya," She looked at him with a small frown, "I know that this is hard on you. If you need anything, the crew and I are here for you. You know that right?"

Swallowing as she nodded, Wyn almost muttered that one crew member wouldn't be there, but managed to hold it back. She managed to say, "I-I know."

Rather than say anything else, Law left her alone and Wyn turned back to her work table as a fresh wave of tears started. She rubbed at her cheeks wishing for all the world that she could just forget Rei and not have to deal with the pain curling through her chest right now. But as tempting as it would be to just make a potion to forget her former friend, she couldn't do that. It wasn't because she wanted to be strong either. No, she was being selfish in a way and punishing herself. After all, the memories of Rei came with her gramps and Shanks which meant there was a good possibility that she'd loose the memory of her adoptive brother if she forgot about the pink haired girl.

But punishing herself for remembering Rei? Wyn would be the only one to remember the good times they had back when they'd just started learning how to use their weapons. The times when they'd randomly discovered random shit just flying around while alone or while with the Red Force. The good times when Wyn was just learning to make her herbal remedies and Rei ended up turning random colors for days afterwards. Even that day they just started out and somehow managed to see a triple rainbow, she'd be the only one to remember it all and that hurt like a bitch.

Landing on one side of the island, the crew left Rei with her belongings not far from a small hut before they moved to the other side of the island where an actual port was set up. Rather than walk around the island in her human form, Wyn sat on Law's shoulder in her smallest form while Momo went with Ikkaku who knows where. They walked around the island for a long while looking at various shops even after stocking up on various supplies. Bepo spoke as they passed by a weapon's shop, "Hey, Wyn?"

"Yes?" Wyn tilted her head at him.

"Do you want to get some ice cream?" Bepo pointed to a stall set up near the edge of the road and Wyn perked up at the sight.

Extending herself a bit, Wyn tilted herself to look Law in the eyes trying to give him a pleading look. Chuckling softly, he nodded to her and set a hand against the warm feathers of her chest, "Yes though settle down, Wyn-ya. You'll become unbalanced if you keep that up."

Letting out a cheer, Wyn righted herself and hugged Law's head carefully, "Thank you!"

Law snorted at Wyn and carefully started to pull her wings away from his face, "Wyn-ya-"

"Excuse me," Rei's voice sounded from close by making them all freeze and Wyn's talons to clench into Law's shoulder, "Have you seen a group of people in lilac boilers suits with a smiley face stitched into it,"

Heart beating rapidly despite knowing that Rei wouldn't know it was her, Wyn found herself wheezing in distress and curling closer to Law. He gently peeled her off of him which sent a pang of distress through her even as she was handed to Bepo. Law told Bepo, "Take her to the Sub, Bepo-ya. I will be there once I've had a few words with Rei-ya as it seems she's forgotten our conversation."

Bepo nodded as Wyn wheezed a bit, "Yes, Captain."

Without even a glance towards where Rei might be, Bepo turned and took off towards where the sub was docked. By the time they reached it, Wyn had calmed down enough to murmur, "Bepo, I'm sor-"

"Don't be," Bepo shook his head as he walked up the gang plank and moved to sit down on one of the crates that had yet to be moved below deck, "How are you feeling?"

"I..." Wyn felt mostly bad for leaving Law behind like that, "Hearing Rei's voice so unexpectedly hurt, I'm somewhat ashamed that I reacted like that. But I'm mostly worried about Law,"

"Captain will be fine," Bepo gave her a small smile, "Rei has nothing on him,"

"True," Wyn smiled back at him before letting out a low sigh as she jumped back to shift into her human form, "I...Reacting like that, I'll never live that down..."

"Just make it up to me later," Law said as he walked up the gang plank and Wyn spun towards him, "After all, I need to be able to count on you-"

"Y-your shoulder," Wyn gasped as she spotted the blood seeping out of his shoulder.

Despite knowing that her talons were sharp, Wyn hadn't expected or ever wanted to actually harm Law. The magic within their dreams had prevented such a thing from happening, so seeing him bleeding from her talons was shocking. Law waved her off, "It happens, Wyn-ya. You were in distress though it seems that you're better now."

"I-But you're arm," Wyn shook her head, "I hurt you-"

"It happens," Law gave her a firm look, "You didn't mean to do it. I know you didn't,"

"I just-" Wyn felt a paw settle on her shoulder and looked to see Bepo smiling at her.

"Just apologize and promise to be more careful next time," Bepo advised her, "Captain won't accept any other answer given what was going on, Wyn,"

Opening her mouth to protest, Wyn saw the look on Bepo's face and realized that he was speaking from experience. Closing her mouth despite still wanting to argue, she took a deep breath and nodded her head. She turned to Law and murmured, "I'm sorry. I...I'll try harder."

"Good," Law gave her a pleased look that sent warmth radiating through her chest, "Now since you did injure my shoulder, you can help clean it up with Bepo guiding you,"

"Huh?" Wyn blinked at him while Bepo let out a laugh.

"As part of the crew, you are supposed to have some form of first aid training. With your ability towards herbalism, I've let it slid to a point," Law explained with a slight smirk, "But now we have a somewhat opportune moment for you to learn,"

"Using you?" Wyn asked incredulously.

"With Bepo as your guide," Law shrugged with a slight wince, "Now come along, we have work to do as I'd rather not be bleeding for much longer,"

Watching him turn and walk towards the sub doors, Wyn didn't start moving forward until Bepo pushed her. She muttered under her breath, "What the actual fuck is today?"

Leaving Rei behind on an island left a bitter taste in Wyn's mouth though she didn't have much time to linger on it as everyone seemed intent on keeping her too busy to really focus on anything other than the current task at hand, Bepo and Ikkaku in particular seemed to be the ring masters in the situation though she couldn't really call them on it as she was usually too exhausted to really focus by the time she was finally left alone at the end of each day. These antics lasted for all of two weeks with Law seemingly not noticing or caring that the rest of their crew was wearing her the fuck out until she fell unconscious in the middle of speaking Bepo, he because furious upon learning that no one had allowed her out of sight long enough to actually eat the proper amount of food she needed in over two weeks. After seeing to it that she got enough food to actually be able to fly, he sent her out to actually get enough to eat before scolding the entire crew for not allowing her to actually go eat.

When Wyn had gotten back from the flight with an actually full belly, Law had promptly scolded her for not informing him of the fact that she hadn't been able to actually eat properly in over two weeks. Taking the scolding with grace, Wyn was allowed to go rest after Law had given her a check up to see just how badly the last two weeks had put her at. Thankfully with her herbal remedies and proper supplemental meals, she would be fine though Law scowled rather darkly at her.

Kicking her feet out as she stared at the island lurking in the distance, Wyn barely reacted as Law settled beside her on the railing. She spoke with an amused smile, "It's been awhile since we both fell asleep at the same time, huh?"

"It has," Law settled his hand beside hers on the railing, "That island, where is it?"

"Somewhere in the New World," Wyn snorted at the way Law jerked, "It's the only island outside of Fishmen island that I've been to that's in the New World, Law. Shanks didn't want us going anywhere too dangerous and he didn't feel like dumping us in some random Blue. So after taking care of some business there, he took us back into the Grandline and traveled down until he got to where we parted,"

"I see," Law was quiet for a long moment and Wyn's eyes settled on the island with a tired smile forming on her lips, "Do you miss traveling with Red Hair-ya?"

"To point," Wyn admitted as she looked at Law and saw his eyes searching her face, "He did become like a brother to me for all that he's older than me by a lot...I...He's my brother," She smiled a bit sadly, "And if I never end up finding Sirius, it's nice to know that I've got family somewhere in this world,"

"Wyn-ya..." Law gave her a look.

"I know that I've got the crew, but it's different with Shanks. A different bond," Wyn shook her head softly before holding out a hand to Law earning a look of surprise, "I...Law, I'm starting to make a decision,"

"A decision?" Law eyed her hand then looked towards her face with a raised eyebrow.

Nodding as her cheeks flushed, Wyn admitted, "I...I'm still going to need a bit of time, but..." She saw his eyes widen as comprehension entered them, "Less than before...Just-"

A warm hand curled around hers as Law cut her off, "Be patient, I know."

Slowly twining their fingers together, Law set them down on the railing as they both looked back at the island sitting in the distance in silence with a smile slowly curling across Wyn's lips.

Lightning danced along the blade of her scythe as she darted across the battlefield, Wyn heard screams and shouts from the Marines as she practically blurred her way through their bodies with the amount of electricity currently firing through her nerve endings. Tensing her legs just slightly, she jumped over one large marine and managed to cleave him in two earning loud shouts from all around. Using the momentum from that, she twisted her body about while shifting into her thunderbird form as lightning crackled down in large streaks.

Flying above the battlefield with her scythe held firmly in her talons, Wyn rained down electrical hell on the marines and provided much needed cover for her crewmates. Entering into Law's Room, she ducked down long enough for Law to teleport Ikkaku onto her back before darting back out. Ikkaku let out a shout of joy as she began raining hell onto the marines as well. As she few and dodged anything flying towards her with Ikkaku shooting away the things that weren't noticed in time, she heard an increase in shouting below.

Almost ignoring it as Law was almost done with his group of Marines and the crew was nearly done with theirs, Wyn let out a sharp cry of shock as something came flying towards her with enough force that she nearly couldn't dodge it. As she dropped down, Ikkaku shouted over the wind, "That was a fucking rock!"

Blinking a bit, Wyn glanced back as a crash rang out that yes a rather large rock had slammed into the ground and actually crushed a few marines though thankfully none of their crew members had gotten caught up in the crossfire. Looking for the source of the projectile, she found her eyes locking onto a rather large lizard-like man that wore a somewhat torn marine uniform. A cigarette hung loosely from his scaled lips as dark yellow eyes peered up at her. Tilting his head, he called out, "Yo, you actually managed to dodge that Thunder Crack. You're pretty fast."

Puffing up a bit as her eyes narrowed, Wyn hissed, "Watch where you're throwing that shit! You hit your own men!"

Shrugging as he bent down and actually began ripping up another piece of the ground, the lizard called up, "Not my fault these guys can't dodge, the name Miro. Vice Admiral Miro. Gotta say, I've been wanting to fight ya for awhile. Finding another Zoan on my level is annoying."

As he threw an actual boulder at her, Wyn quickly dodged out of the way and threw a livid ball of lightning towards the asshole. Ikkaku let out a curse as she quickly tightened her grip on Wyn, "Fuck that guys a Vice Admiral? We're fucked!"

"Just need to hold on until Law's finished then we can go," Wyn had no compunctions that they could actually face a damn Vice Admiral at the current moment especially when the man could easily dodge her lightning like it was nothing, "I'm going to get close to the ground. You need to get to Law and tell him what's going on,"

"But-" Ikkaku stated to protest as Miro began to pull up another boulder.

"No buts!" Wyn snarled at Ikkaku as she tossed another thread of lightning at Miro earning a low laugh as he had to stop his preparations to dodge, "We all know that we're not on this fuckers level, Ikkaku. I can keep away from him long enough to stall, but you guys?" She scowled as he began to dance about the field while dodging the attacks she tried to pepper him with, "Just listen to me, alright?!"

Ikkaku was silent for a long moment before finally murmuring, "Alright, but-"

Yelping as Wyn had to barrel roll out of the way of a large spray of pebbles that shot towards them like fucking bullets, the two cursed as Wyn banked and quickly sped towards the ground. Rolling slightly to deposit Ikkaku, Wyn shouted at her friend, "Go, Ikkaku! Go!"

As Ikkaku took off running towards where Wyn had last seen Law, Wyn began to fire her attacks at Miro in earnest earning a laugh. He shouted up at her, "Your friend is running away! So much for pirates sticking together, Thunder Crack!"

Scoffing at him, Wyn dove before pulling up as she sent out a spray of lightning coated feathers that acted much like knives due to the electricity currently racing through them. Mori managed to dodge most of them, but a few stuck into his scales. He started to try plucking them out with a slight wince only to let out a shout of pain as she released a large burst of lightning that caught the various feathers scattered about resulting in an array effect that amplified the effects of her attack. Panting slightly as she raised herself up higher, she glared down at Mori as he slowly stared at her with a look of slight irritation. She called out, "How's that for an attack, ya asshole?"

"Effective, but not against someone like me," Mori said as his form began to shift slightly.

Eyes widening as shock coursed through her veins, Wyn actually fell slightly as the blackened scales actually began to fall away revealing brilliant red beneath. She shouted out, "What the actual fuck?!"

"An ability of mine that I dislike using," Mori shook himself as even his ruined clothes fell away and Wyn flushed a bit, "Damn, you made me waste an entire pack of cigarettes,"

"Well, I-" Wyn yelped as she had to dodge the volley of rocks that Mori tossed at her.

As if a switch had been flipped, Wyn was now on the defensive and barely able to get in a single attack with Mori slinging rocks towards her almost effortlessly. Had this been the start of the entire battle, she probably would've been fine if a bit tired, but right now, it was becoming exhausting to dodge every single rock he tossed. A screech left her as something incredibly hard slammed in her right wing and she was sent tumbling to the ground. Slamming hard into the ground with her vision going grey for a few moments as her head hit the blackened soil, she skidded and rolled sending painful flares through every nerve as her wing was jostled. As she finally slid to a stop, it took a few moments to actually notice and even more vital seconds to try raising herself up.

Lightning weakly danced along her uninjured wing as Wyn unsteadily managed to raise herself up, she tossed a volley at Mori who barely had to step out of the way. He spoke as she began charging up another attack and glared at him through squinted eyes, "Through such a brutal hit and fall, you still manage to fight. It's a miracle that Trafalgar managed to find you."

"G-go fuck yourself," Wyn snapped as she tossed the attack towards him.

Mori easily dodged it and Wyn about screamed as he sent her flying with a punch to face. Tumbling once more through the air and slamming into the ground again, she struggled to raise herself up. She barely managed to charge up any lightning let alone actually release it. Mori spoke with a slight click, "Why don't you give up? I can assure you that there are people with the Marines who will do whatever it takes to have someone of your caliber under them. So-"

"Fuck you and every single person with that mindset," Wyn hissed able to taste blood on her tongue, "The only one I will every work under is Law, so take that offer and shove it up your fu-"

Choking as she was sent flying again, Wyn couldn't even raise herself up this time as black spots danced about her vision. She coughed up something that tasted of copper. Blinking as blue coated the areas where she could see, she relaxed as the familiar sensation of being teleported by Law settled over her. Worried shouts echoed through the air, she ignored everything while trying to blink away the black spots that coated her vision. As she finally managed to focus, Law cut through the shouts, "Wyn-ya-"

"Can we get out of here now?" Wyn asked coughing and grimacing as more of what she knew to be blood came up her throat, "I really don't want to keep playing with a Marine Vice Admiral right now,"

Despite the worry and anger in his eyes, Law let out a low snort as he nodded before shouting to everyone, "Let's go! We cannot linger here any longer."

Laying her head on the deck, Wyn barely shifted as Law's familiar weight settled against her side with more care than usual. She kept her eyes closed even as his hand slowly began to run through her feathers. She spoke as the silence dragged on, "With my herbal medicines and your own, I'll be just fine."

"Wyn-ya, that isn't the point," Law was definitely frowning from his tone.

Cracking open an eye as she let out a low sigh, Wyn looked at Law and mentally snorted at the frown he wore. Raising her head, she extended her neck to gingerly set it on his lap. She spoke softly, "I know. I'm just trying to ease your mind a bit," She saw his frown ease a bit and smiled slightly, "Still though, it was pretty awesome how long I managed to last against the asshole."

Snorting at her, Law's lips quirked into a slight smirk, "Admittedly, you did quite well all things considered though I would have preferred it if that kind of confrontation had waited."

"With how far along we are in Paradise, it shouldn't be too surprising that we managed to meet someone this strong," Wyn closed her eyes, "With my luck especially,"

"True enough," Law's hand settled on her head and began running carefully along the thin ribbon like feathers that made up her crest, "It's only going to get more difficult from now on. The Marines are no doubt going to increase your bounty,"

"And yours," Wyn replied with a soft giggle, "That would make us at what? 200 million belli for you and mine at 190 if they keep increasing it at the rate they've been going?"

"They might set us at the same rank considering how you did against the Vice Admiral," Law chuckled softly, "You actually seem excited at the prospect,"

"Somewhat if only due to it being a way Shanks can keep an eye on me," Wyn let out a soft yawn, "Are you going to take a nap?"

"Might as well," Law leaned back a little bit against her side and she shifted her uninjured wing to curl around him, "You don't mind?"

"Just don't be pissy if I wake you up for putting too much pressure on me," Wyn yawned again earning a snort.

"I don't get pissy," Law muttered as she felt his fingers continue moving along her crest feathers.

When Wyn had managed to heal enough that Law was willing to allow her to shift back, she promptly took the longest possible shower as while cleaning herself in thunderbird form was possible it had nothing on actually taking a shower. After getting out of the shower and getting changed into her clothes, she went to grab something to eat. Finding everyone practically clustered around one of the tables, she grabbed her snack while calling out, "What's going on?"

"Wyn!" Shachi's head popped out of the crowd, "Look! You're on the front page with Captain!"

Blinking a bit at that, Wyn held out a hand and was quickly handed a news paper. Looking over, she slowly began to smile at the head line and pictures that were painted across the front page:

"Heralding Thunder of Death's Surgeon"

(A picture of Wyn in full thunder bird form raining down lightning hell while Law was using his room with their crew rushing about)

Looking at Shachi, Wyn asked, "Has Law seen this?"

"No, he's been in his office," Shachi shook his head.

"I'll go show him. I wanted to tell him what I've been think about possibly working on now that I'm actually able to work in my workshop again," Wyn held up the paper, "Mind if I take this?"

"Go one ahead," Was chorused with grins from everyone.

Leaving the dinning hall with her snack and the paper in hand, Wyn headed to Law's office and knocked on the door when she reached it. It took a moment before he called for her to enter. Walking inside, she saw the curious look on Law's face grow when he spotted the paper. He asked, "May I ask why you have the news paper? You normally aren't interested."

"Normally I'm not, the guys brought it to my attention that we're on the front page," Wyn held out the paper to him, "From what I glanced over in the article, people are getting antsy over my being on the crew as are abilities together are turning out to be an effective stopping method against the Marines that are being sent against us," Law took the paper with a raised eyebrow that rose further as he began to read the article, "Makes you wonder how we'd do against Mori when working together,"

"According to the statement he allegedly made to the press, you made things quite difficult for him and probably would've been more effective had the fight happened sooner," Law smirked darkly, "So if I'd been there sooner, we might've had a marine Vice Admiral to experiment on,"

Snorting softly at that, Wyn took a seat across from him and began eating her snack, "So did they update our bounties? I didn't bother to check before bringing that for you."

Glancing through the paper, Law stopped after a moment and nodded, "Looks like you were right on the guess', you're at 190 million and I'm at 200 million."

Whistling softly, Wyn grinned at him, "Guess that means we've got to work a lot harder, huh? Since we're officially threats?"

"That we do though that doesn't mean the rest of our crew can slack off," Law set down the paper and steepled his fingers, "For all that each have their own strength, they do not have devil fruits to back them up. Bepo is a mink which gives him more advantages than a human, but there are more disadvantages as well. To be quite honest, we have quite a bit to work through especially as we're getting closer to the end of Paradise,"

"So from what I'm hearing is that we need to institute crew wide training sessions?" Wyn held up her hand and let lightning dance along her fingers earning a smirk from Law, "I'll be happy to provide them encouragement,"

Snorting softly, Law shook his head as a knock echoed through the air. Glancing towards the door, he called out, "Enter."

Bepo walked in with a slight grin, "Hello, Captain, Wyn. I take it you saw the article?"

"We did," Law smirked at Bepo, "We'll be instituting crew wide training sessions to ensure we're ready as Paradise's end is rapidly approaching. We need to be ready for the New World,"

"Roger that," Bepo saluted Law, "I wanted to tell you that we've entered the next island's electromagnetic field. From what we can tell, it's going to be a fall island,"

Perking up at that, Wyn commented, "Ooh, I wonder if they'll be selling any ciders. I love the taste."

"We'll take a look though that'll be after stocking up," Law looked at her in amusement.
