First Mate Violet: Oh, Blues is going to be so mad at me. I completely forgot about this fic and I deserve to be mocked for it. Now that it has been remembered, time for a new chapter! I hope everyone enjoys it. Now, time to start class.

My Hero Academia: Two Minds, One Body
Chapter Twelve

[Entrance Exam: Command Center
POV:
Yamada "Present Mic" Hizashi]

Present Mic stared at the myriad of screens in the console chamber, his eyes gazing at the various hero hopefuls. He had to admit, this was quite the curveball that was thrown at these kids, but this entire test was out of the ordinary.

Having the recommended exam takers go through with the regular exams despite their Quirks and glowing recommendations?

Putting more Zero-Points into the battle?

Getting rid of the test locations to make them all one big battle royal?

He didn't understand the Principal's thought process. Then again, no one could. But he had to admit, this would prove interesting.

A slender and tall, pale-skinned man with messy, shoulder-length black hair that partially hangs in front of his face and half-opened black eyes walked into the room, his sour face causing Present Mic to light up.

"Hey, hey, hey, Aiza!" Present Mic greeted.

"It's too early for this," The Erasure Hero: Aizawa "Eraser Head" Shōta. "How is the new batch doing?"

"Well, let's just say we're in for an interesting show," Present Mic told his longtime friend, a large grin on his face. "Come on, pull up a chair and grab some popcorn."

"It's too early for that," Shōta grumbled but joined his friend with a grunt. "So, which screen are we watching?"

"All of them. Nezu-san has opened all the locations. For what, we don't quite know yet. He's supposed to explain it once this test is done."

"That's new," Shōta hummed as he crossed his arms. "Well, this should be enlightening…."

[Entrance Exam: Battle Center Location A
POV:
General]

With a devastating gut punch, Kirishima's fist exploded from the back of a Two-Point, where he then forced his arm upward from its gut to its dangling head to tear it free from the machine.

"Man! These things are crawling everywhere!" Kirishima complained to Fuwa, who skidded from a blow Two-Point's tail, which was blocked by a wave of sparkling white sugar that came from a gourd on her left hip.

"You're telling me!" Fuwa shouted back as she shoved the tail of Two-Point into the air, and drew the suspended sugar into her hand to shape it like a whip.

With her right hand, she withdrew a coarser sugar crystal and enhanced its size until it became as large as her entire body. The strand of granulated sugar wrapped around the entirety of the enlarged coarser sugar crystal. "Taste this!" she yelled, "Sweet Mace!"

With a mighty swing, the large crystal crushed Two-Point and even caused a massive crater on the street.

"Holy shit," Kirishima swore. "What the hell kind of Quirk is that?"

"Oh? This?" Fuwa asked with a tired grin. "This Quirk is—

(Uzuki: Saccharine Mayhem. This allows Mawata-san to control the sweetness that is sugar and three of its forms. It can harden the crystals or a single crystal in sugar that's strong enough to pierce metal.

Izuku: That is a rock candy that you don't wanna eat! Not only that, she can soften the sugar enough to make it powdery enough to ride like a cloud or blind/choke opponents. Unfortunately, her Quirk's weakness is both fire and water. But the larger and harder the sugar crystals, the more resistant the sugar crystals can be to those two elements.

Uzuki: Or a glutton. Whichever comes first. It is unknown if she can control anything like brown sugar or syrup. Let's see how strong she can really get!)

"Saccharine Mayhem," Fuwa panted as she pulled the strand of sugar back into her left gourd but she left the enlarged coarser sugar crystal in the crater. "Using that attack always wears me out."

"Dude, that's a pretty sweet Quirk," Kirishima joked.

"Hardy-har-har," Fuwa sarcastically replied. "But thank you. I trained hard to make it into something like this. I can't let this second chance go to waste."

"Second chance?" Kirishima asked.

"Move your asses!" Bakugō exclaimed as he ran past them. "A Zero-Point is heading our way!"

"Hey! Where are Momo-san and Reiko-san?" Fuwa questioned.

Fuwa got her answer when Momo and Reiko glided past them on two sewer covers, outlined in purple light. The rumble of the street and buildings around the pair gave them more than enough warning that Zero-Point was near.

"Oh, Crapbaskets," Fuwa groaned.

"Come on, Fuwa, let's get out of here before things get bad for us," Kirishima warned.

Fuwa nodded and the two quickly ran off, with Fuwa stumbling slightly in exhaustion.

[Entrance Exam: Battle Center Location B
POV:
Hagakure Tōru]

"Yahoo! We are outta control!" Denki exclaimed while Uraraka, Tōru, and Jirō sat amongst the defeated One-Points. The people they saved ran out of the building five minutes ago and they were taking a small break.

"Be careful!" Tōru exclaimed as she watched her friend's unconscious body bounce up and down on Denki's right shoulder. "He's already injured enough."

"Whoops," Denki laughed as he settled down. "Sorry about that dude."

"We have to find a way to heal him," Jirō noted. "Or at least get him up and running enough to help us out."

"But at the risk of Uzuki breaking more bones?" Tōru asked, unsure as she slipped back on her clothing."I don't want that. Let's just keep protecting him until he wakes up, at least."

Uraraka stood from the bodies of the machines and walked to the window on the other side of the room. "Hey, where are you going?" Jirō asked.

"I want to see where we should go next for more enemies," Uraraka replied as she peered out the window. "Wait, it looks like we're near Battle Center Location A. I even see some people talking in the middle of the street."

Tōru stood and motioned for Denki and Jirō to follow her, only to remember she was invisible, and instead voiced, "Why don't we go down there and see if they want to team up."

"We would use more help. Especially with someone else carrying this guy," Denki complained.

Ignoring Denki, Tōru and Jirō walked up to Uraraka and looked out the window. "It wouldn't hurt to see," Jirō replied. "We do need points and maybe they have an idea of where to look."

"Yeah, but the more of us, the fewer points we can get if they did know where more are," Uraraka said. "But, I'm betting there are only Zero-Points left anyways."

"So what's the verdict?" Tōru asked.

"We should go see. Maybe, if we're lucky, we can bring down a Zero-Point like Uzuki-kun did," Uraraka said.

"Fat chance but I'm down," Denki announced, startling the three girls.

[Entrance Exam: Battle Center Location C
POV:
Ashido Mina]

"Get out of here! Hurry!" Mina exclaimed to two of the exam participants after melting a hole in two thick steel beams that blocked their exit from the remains of a building. "There is no telling when more will be back."

Beside her Setsuna's separated fists pelted into Three-Point while Tsuyu jumped around a Two-Point, her strong feet denting the metal of Two-Point with every jump onto it. The two participants scrambled from what could have been their tombs and ran for the hills, leaving Mina annoyed.

So far, she spent this exam rescuing people versus taking down the robotic villains. She only managed to take down two Three-Points, five One-Points, and three Two-Points. Meanwhile, Todoroki had slain dozens of the machines with his ice Quirk before he split away, and Setsuna was able to take down just a little bit below Todoroki.

She was unsure of how many Tsuyu had taken down, due to the girl meeting up with them moments before Present Mic's announcement hit the airwaves.

But, her mother always touted that while defeating the enemies was important, saving the innocent took precedence. And Mina knew that despite her annoyance, it felt good saving the people she did.

In the distance, Mina could hear another Zero-Point marching and frowned.

She wondered how many of the other exam takers were trapped.

"Took it down!" Setsuna exclaimed, which prompted Mina to turn around to see Setsuna and Tsuyu finished with their opponents.

"Um, Setsuna? Your left eye is missing," Mina noted.

Setsuna blinked and grinned. "I know. I'm using it to track more robotic villains. Haven't seen any yet. All I can see is some guy in steel stomping about."

"That was pretty easy," Tsuyu drawled. "Where next?"

"I still need to take down a few villains. But, seeing the devastation the Zero-Point left this area, we should see if anyone needs to be found," Mina said.

Setsuna shrugged and said, "I got it." Her ears flew off and darted to some of the destroyed buildings. "While my ears do the trick, I saw some Three-Point villains fighting some girl with green hair. I doubt she can take them on her own. Let's go nab them!"

Mina nodded with a grin but she couldn't help but wonder about her two friends.

'Kirishima… Mirā….I hope you guys are safe out there….' Mina thought.

"Hey, something is coming down from that building over there," Setsuna noted as her left eye floated beside her.

"Oh, really?" Are they more machines?" Mina asked, excited.

"I doubt it," Tsuyu stated. "Considering there are four of them and they look humanoid."

"Well, we might as well wait for them," Mina shrugged. "You know what's weird?"

"What?" Tsuyu asked.

"Present Mic said that there would be three Zero-Points. But I can only hear two of them in the distance. Where is the third one?" Mina asked.

"Do you really want a question that you don't want the answer to?" Tsuyu questioned.

Mina opened her mouth to respond, when she, and she assumed Setsuna and Tsuyu, heard and felt the ground trembling. Just as the four figures touched the ground, the building behind them exploded, revealing the third Zero-Point while also sending the four figures flying.

"Oh no….." Setsuna gasped.

"That is not good," Tsuyu noted.

"Let's go help them out!" Mina exclaimed.

She hoped that the four would be okay.

First Mate Violet: And that is the end of this chapter. The next chapter will conclude this arc and it will bring out two stars back in action. Hopefully they'll survive without any more broken bones? Class Dismissed!
