Brotherhood elections were coming up on Sunday. Every Spring Semester The Brotherhood had to elect new positions. This was done by the person giving a small speech on why they should be picked. Then after that members would vote on a slip of paper. Evie was excited and was eating lunch with Jacob at the cafe. "I hope to become the Treasurer," she said eating her sandwich.

"I hope you get it" Jacob replied taking a sip of water "I'm not doing anything since I have the Rooks and myself to care about"

"True how are the Rooks by the way," Evie asked. She loved that her brother had made a club and found his people

"Great we've been volunteering and helping others on the campus. Alexios even wants to join" Jacob was happy about that. He and Alexios had gotten closer since he joined the Brotherhood.

Evie was glad to hear Alexios was better. She still could not believe that the hot-headed roommate was now her brother's friend. "Well, he will make a great addition"

Jacob nodded "He will. How are you and Henry by the way? You both seem so happy when we are in history together" Jacob was getting tired of it but was happy for Evie. She and Henry were always making googly eyes at one another when their professor is going over the brutality of the French Revolution.

"Oh, we are doing great! We went to a haunted house the other day and found evidence. Then afterward we got dinner." Evie was glad Henry shared her love of ghosts. They made a great team and were happy about that.

Jacob rolled his eyes "Leave it to you to find a haunted house a cute date."

Evie reached across the table and lightly hit Jacob's arm "be nice. I need a ghost-hunting buddy since others don't believe"

Jacob then swatted her hand away and laughed. He was thankful Evie found her someone. He hoped Henry would take her to the formal dance they have at the end of the semester. She deserved it. "Anway I'm excited for Spring Break. I need a break and a pina colada"

"Oh my god that sounds amazing" Evie was dreaming of one now. "I have already started making an itinerary along with Altair. I can't believe we are all going to be in the Bahamas at the same time" They had all found out when Altair made Maria give him more swim lessons and everyone was suspicious. Evie was just nervous about Aveline and Conner. There seemed to be so much tension between them. On top of that, Evie noticed Aveline hardly mentioned or did anything with Gerald.

"Really an itinerary Evie's it's a vacation we need to enjoy it" Jacob sighed. He loved his sister, but she was just so by the book.

"And?" Evie glared at him "We lose time by not knowing what to do. Don't worry I cut out time specifically for relaxing"

Jacob laughed and rolled his eyes he knew there was no way to argue with his sister. "I wonder how Altair will do?" Jacob still thought it was hilarious how Altair almost killed Maria on Valentine's day.

"Who knows" Evie shrugged.

"Altair! Altair" Maria snapped at him. They were currently in the shallow end of the pool. She had asked Altair something, but he seemed sidetracked.

"What?" He then looked at her.

"I said let's go to the deep end. I think you're doing a lot better. Where are you today" she looked at him concerned.

He shook his head "Sorry I'm good I was just thinking of Brotherhood elections. I'm having to give up my presidency soon and I want to make sure whoever gets it deserves it" Altair was nervous. The Brotherhood meant so much to him and the thought of it being ruined scared him. Luckily though everyone was great save for Bellec he somehow got in and no one knows how.

Maria rolled her eyes "Altair you're going to be okay. Everyone there is great. Now, why don't we focus on breath strokes so we can swim in the ocean in like two weeks" Maria was beyond excited to go to the Bahamas. She was going to relax and try to go all the way with Altair. She had never felt this way for anyone, and she wanted to sleep with him at one of the most relaxing places on earth. She still had no idea where they were gonna do it since they were going to be at a house and a houseboat, but she would find a way and proper privacy. She was not pulling an Arno and Elise.

"Yeah, the ocean. Where there is fish shit and dead bodies" Altair shuddered. He did not know how to break it to Maria about swimming in the ocean. It grossed him out beyond belief and the thought of being it scared him. Luckily though he was bringing his body suit and an itinerary to distract her from the ocean.

"Oh my god, you better not wear that hideous body suit" Maria huffed. It took so much convincing just for him to wear basic swim trunks in the pool. Maria was glad she convinced him. His physic was beyond impressive.

"Alright I won't" Altair lied. He was not taking chances. The rest of the time went by great. Maria was a great teacher and made Altair feel confident. He had never had a girlfriend who was so attentive and caring. The one girl he dated freshman year was more of a fuck buddy than anything else. Maria was something else. Altair loved her confidence and attitude. She was a flame and Altair loved warming up to her.

"Alright I think you are good for today" Maria and Altair walked to the shallow end.

"Thank you so much for helping me" Altair blushed "I've never had a girlfriend to that"

"Well, what can I say I'm great" Maria leaned into him.

"Yeah yeah, whatever" Altair joked. They got out and dried off. Altair was excited about Spring Break.

Desmond was in his room watching tv when he got a knock at his door. He sighed figuring it was a resident. He slowly got up from his couch and opened the door to Ezio.

"You gotta help me!" Ezio rushed past Desmond into his room.

"Okay come in," Desmond said sarcastically. "What going on?" Desmond noticed Ezio was pacing around.

"I wanna be president of the Brotherhood" Ezio blurted out "But I'm scared to fail. I know others that are running and I can't compete against them" Ezio then started monologuing. His Brother was President a few years back and Ezi wanted to be like him.

"Woah calm down first and let's take a seat." Desmond led Ezio to his couch. "Start from the beginning"

Ezio took a breath "Okay I want to be president of the brotherhood but I'm terrified. Basim, Aguliar, and Shao Jun are running. Also, Bellec but no one will vote for him" Desmond agreed with that. "Anyways that's my competition and let's face I'm going to lose"

"I mean all three of them are presidents of different clubs at the school, so they already have the experience" Desmond pointed out. Ezio's face fell a bit at this "But you are the most charismatic out of everyone" Basim was usually more fact than fun. Aguliar was always serious. Then Shao Jun was sweet but extremely shy even around Brotherhood members. "You also took down Cesare and his sister. That already puts you ahead"

Ezio nodded "True I did do that. I also have had other jobs in the Brotherhood" Ezio had been alumni chair, administration, and recruitment chair his last three years.

"Yeah, that's the spirit" Desmond smiled at him "you just need to have a great speech which I'm sure you can pull off"

"Yeah, I can do that!" Ezio cheered. He was very good at making speeches. The rest of the day Desmond helped prepare Ezio and coached him on what to say and do. It was decided if Ezio became president he would grow the Brotherhood.

Sunday was now here, and everyone was in the Brotherhood classroom. Ezio was beyond nervous. They first had to go over all the positions and people had to vote for who they wanted. After that, the people running for president had to give a speech and then people would vote for them last. After that, the president would pick their VP.

"Alright the votes have been counted for treasurer" Altair and Malik were at the front of the classroom and counting the votes. "And the next treasure is Evie Frye"

Evie then smiled "Thank you!". Evie was excited about this job it was great experience and looked good on a resume. The rest of the positions were then given out and everyone was happy about it. It was now time for the presidential election. Ezio's palms were sweaty and he was about to pass out.

"Alright if you made a speech please come up here and convince us why we should vote for you" Altair announced.

Aguliar, Basim, Bellec, Shao Jun, and Ezio walked up. Aguliar went first. His speech was dry and he was more about improving the classroom. Then Basim went. He was good and straight to the point. Bellec's was awful. He wanted to buy a house and throw parties there. Shao Jun went and was similar to Ezio's speech which made Ezio uneasy. Ezio then went. At first, he was nervous but then got the grove of things. Finally, it was time for everyone to vote. A few minutes went by and Altair and Malik were still counting. Finally, after five minutes they were done.

"The next President of the Brotherhood is... Ezio" Altair smiled. He was so happy it was Ezio. He knew he would do a better job and was here to make everyone's life better. Everyone cheered and hollered. Ezio smiled and went up to the front. "Thank you everyone. I promise to make this position count". Altair then swore in Ezio. Over the next few days, Altair would train Ezio and show him the ropes. After the election, everyone had refreshments and snacks.

"Congrats man" Jacob came up behind Ezio and patted his back.

"Thank you! I'm excited"

"I'm glad you are" Evie butted in.

The rest of the night everyone had fun and hung out. Ezio was so excited about what was to happen next. Altair and Malik were relieved Ezio was chosen and not Bellec.

"I quit!" Aspasia yelled at Aveline, Gerald, and Maxwell at the auditorium. Luckily she was the first one there and no one else.

"Wait hang on" Maxwell begged "I understand that Alexios is still here and all that but you won't interact with him. I promise"

"I don't care he betrayed us Maxwell you should also leave" she argued back. Aspasia now hated Alexios. He got some of the best Templars expelled.

"I would but this is for school and a grade not for fun!" he shot back stressed. Sometimes he hated the stupid Templars. Aspasia rolled her eyes and walked off. "Fuck what can we do she was the main role" Maxwell looked at them desperately.

"Aveline you will have to be Persephone" Gerald looked at her. He and Aveline had not talked too much lately.

Aveline did not want that. She would now be forced to be with Conner. "I don't know we need to find someone else"

"We don't have time!" Maxwell stressed he was now getting borderline stressed. "Greek Night is in like three weeks one of those weeks is also Spring Break, and you know the part!"

Aveline was not okay but knew she needed the A "Fine" was all she said. A few minutes later everyone shuffled in. The trio went to the front to make announcements.

"Hey everyone" Gerald got their attention "We had to make a few changes due to people quitting". Gerald then went over the changes. Conner almost died on his seat when he found out Aveline was Persephone. Gerald was not a fan of this either. He felt like he was losing Aveline.

Everyone then broke up into their groups and then they would do a final reading and be done for the day.

Maria, Evie, and Jacob were all reading their lines to one another. Maria spoke up "did you see guys that Aveline and Conner are officially having to be together"

"Maria" Evie rolled her eyes at her silly roommate.

"Oh come on Evie this is fascinating" Jacob snickered.

After about thirty minutes it was time to do the final reading. Aveline and Conner's chemistry was amazing. They finally had the kiss scene at the very end. The kiss ended up lasting a bit longer than expected. Aveline then quickly pulled away from Conner startled.

"Sorry" he whispered.

Aveline just nodded. They then wrapped things up. As Aveline was leaving the auditorium Gerad called out to her "Hey Aveline can we talk"

Aveline turned around noticing it was just her and Gerald left "Yes" her stomach was sinking.

"I think we need to break up" he whispered. He sounded hurt.

"Wait Gerald" Aveline's face softened.

"At first I wondered why you started feeling distant and now I see why. The way you look at Conner is how I wanted you to look at me. You clearly have feelings you need to work out" he was hurt, to say the least.

"That's not..." she stopped short she knew she shouldn't have lied to him "I just figured I could move on but it's harder than I thought"

Gerald nodded and looked off "We will finish this project together and then you'll never hear from me again" He got up and left a standing Aveline. She stood there for a minute feeling awful. She knew Conner was with Dobby and would never break them up. She was not like her stepmother. Aveline slowly walked back to the dorm. She would tell her friends about the breakup after Spring Break she just needed to survive. She of course had no idea how since Conner would be there, but she could do it.

Eivor was nervous. Randvi was picking him up. They were going on their first date today. It was just having a picnic and then a hike. But still, Eivor was nervous. He knew not to sweat it but still. Eivor waited in the lobby and then got a text that she was there. Eivor walked out and saw her in her SUV. She rolled down the window "Hey" she greeted him.

"Hey" he smiled and got into the passenger seat. They then drove to the park. The whole time they caught up. It had been a minute since they talked besides the occasional text here and there.

They finally walked to some picnic benches. The park was lively as Spring was finally settling in. "This beats the frozen wasteland of Norway" Randiv pointed out as they sat down.

Eivor nodded "for real do you remember that one spring when Ivar got his tongue stuck to his dad's car"

Randiv then laughed "How can I forget that? We all felt bad as his dad was yelling at him but he was stuck and he couldn't respond. Luckily Ubba helped out" She did love her crazy stories from back home.

"I wonder how they are. I hate to ask this, but do you hear about the village anymore since you know..."

Randvi shook her head "Not really. I still talk to my parents, but they aren't happy with me." Eivor wasn't surprised. Her parents were traditional and believed Sigurd was a better fit since he was wealthier.

"Yeah, same. My parents know what happened but haven't said anything" Eivor shrugged "to be honest I don't see myself ever going back to Norway"

Randvi felt a wave of relief hit her "Same. I'm glad" she reached across the table and held his hand. "I want to be with you"

Eivor then smiled "I would love that". For the rest of the picnic, they ate and laughed about everything. Randvi loved this. She felt so refreshed being with Eivor. He was so attentive and kind to her. He asked her questions about her life and was generally interested in her. Randvi felt bad that she compared him to Sigurd, but she couldn't help it.

They then walked around the park enjoying the nice air and atmosphere. It felt good seeing people not freezing and enjoying themselves. "It's funny" Eivor spoke up. "When we had the fire alarm go off in the dorm people were freezing but to me that was summer"

"Oh god, that sounds horrible. I remember when I lived in a dorm and some asshole pulled the alarm. I'm so glad to live off campus now" Randvi was not a fan of that, to say the least, But she was now enjoying being by herself. "Speaking of dorm living are you living on campus again"

"I don't know I need to discuss it with my roommates" Eivor had not put much thought into next year.

"Yeah, I don't blame you. Living off campus is great. No RA's or terrible roommates from housing and it's cheaper" Randvi wanted Eivor to be her neighbor so they could be close but not that close. She did not want to live with another boyfriend

"That does sound nice," Eivor thought. It would be nice to not have roommate checks and all that. The rest of the date went great. Randiv and Eivor got along great and were feeling attraction to one another. Randiv then dropped off Eivor at his dorm. Eivor kissed her goodbye and went in. He walked in and saw Jacob, Arno, and Alexios all watching a movie on the couch.

"How was your date," Arno asked pausing the tv.

Eivor smiled "It was great I'm really happy with her. Also, we were talking about next year and all that. And I was wondering where are we going to live next year?"

"Oh crap, I guess we need to think of that" Jacob spoke up. He hated thinking about the future it stressed him out.

"It would be nice to live in an apartment" Alexios pointed out. He could also have his pet snake with him.

Arno nodded "True I could have Elise over more"

"Well, I guess we can apartment hunt after spring break and see what we like" Eivor proposed. All three of them agreed and resumed their movie.

Okay so Aveline's break up might have been lackluster but I feel like that's how it would go. I apologize for such a short chapter but this was honestly more of a filler. Tbh I had a rough weekend on RA duty and time change is killing me so this chapter is not up to par like I would like it. Anyways the next chapter will be longer.
