Here's the next chapter! Enjoy!

After finally being done playing and swimming in the water, Terry and Andrew made it back to shore, blowing out the candles. They saw that Rolling Stones cassette stopped playing, meaning they had to go. They cleaned up and dried up, using the blanket as a towel. They got dressed again, Terry carrying the trash while Andrew carried the supplies. As they got to the van, the dirty-blonde-haired woman sneezed. "Bless you, baby," her boyfriend said sweetly.

She smiled and sniffled. "Man, that water was cold," she stated.

"But it became warm with you." She blushed and smiled at his flirt before putting the trash bag at the corner. She shivered when a breeze came through, rubbing her hands on her arms. When he put the last of the supplies in another corner, Andrew slipped off his jean jacket and wrapped it around her.

"Thank you."

"It's not a problem." They went quiet for a moment, gazing into each other's eyes. At the moment, it seemed like it was just the two of them...nothing else.

His fingers slowly traced over hers, their feelings swelling at the moment. A finger of hers went over his and slowly while their hands held each other. She stepped closer, leaning up to him. He leaned towards her as well. The two slowly closed their eyes, then the gap.

Their lips met tenderly, their hearts fluttering. They didn't think of anything, only reacted according to their feelings. They kissed again, Andrew's arm wrapped around her waist and bringing her closer. Another kiss, she wrapped her arm around his neck and let her fingers comb through his brown locks. Their bodies felt warm, pressed against each other like this. Their kisses were slow, but passionate. It didn't matter how much time was passing...they just wanted to do this.

Eventually, they broke the kiss and pressed their foreheads together. "You are the wonderful and beautiful woman I've ever met, Teresa Ives," he said so lovingly, making her smile. "I love you." Her heart swelled at those words. Even though they haven't been dating long, she knew him for longer, so...

"I love you too, Andrew Rich," she confessed, wrapping another arm around his neck. "You are the sweetest, most kindest man I've ever known." He smiled as well, the two opening each other's eyes and gazing once again.

"What are you thinking now?"

There was a feeling deep in her heart that wanted to...go all the way with him. They were intimate before, but they've never done it yet. But another part of her knew she wasn't ready yet, she needed more time. Plus...

She relaxed her arms, trailing down his own. "We need to go get Jane and say goodbye to Kali."

Undeterred, her boyfriend nodded and replied, "Then let's go." They smiled before closing the back doors and getting to the front of the van.

"I need to go find Lucas," Jane said after she and the teens got out of the gym. "I'll meet you guys in the parking lot!" The teens just nodded before she broke away from them, going to the back of the school to find her friend.

"That winning shot Sinclair made was definitely cool," Steve told Kali.

She nodded. "Yeah, he's come a long way."

He grinned and nodded as well. "A loooong way." They began going to his car. "Soooo, pretty good date, huh?" He looked down at her, hopeful with that goofy expression.

She laughed and said, "Alright, it wasn't that bad."

He kept his smile. "So...we're good?"

"Uh..." His smile dropped, immediately assuming the worst. She gave him a reassuring expression. "Hey, we're good, don't get me wrong."

He was still a bit worried. "But...?"

"We just need to talk tomorrow, okay?"

His worry grew a little more, his eyes looking away from her before going back. "Okay...?"

Reading his expression, she reassured, "It's nothing bad, Steve. Just something we can talk about, like adults."

He nodded, sighing. "Yeah, yeah, alright. We can talk tomorrow...why not now?"

She sighed, pressing her fingers against her temple. "I'm a bit tired, I just wanna lay down."

"Oh...okay." He smiled. "My bed?"

She smiled back up at him. "Your bed."

Lucas was given the duty of pushing Billy out. The rest of the team poured out of the building in the most highest of spirits, the former captain even feeling it himself. The team surrounded Lucas, still congratulating him in their own ways, with words and gestures and hand smacks. Even though Billy was as proud of him as the team was...some part of him felt jealous that the kid'd get to feel this. Because screwing up the winning shot last year...it was like the team had a funeral. He'd always blame himself for that, he got too cocky. Not that he wanted to admit that to anyone. Jason'd be in the same position if it wasn't for Lucas. He was truly essential for the team.

"And the next best thing," Jason said, clamping his hand on Billy's shoulder and breaking him out of thought. "This man, the one we've put in our effort for, our captain of last year, watched us at our best as we won!" He and the guys cheered loud, the new captain holding his trophy up.

Faking a smile, Billy nodded and said, "And you showed those chickenshits you meant business, just like how I taught you!" The guys except Lucas cheered again, the freshman feeling uneasy from that statement. "You never pussied out, never cowered. You gave it your all like men. Jason's doin' a great job." He patted his arm, his protégé smiling in pride. "Can't be any more proud."

"Thanks, man," he replied genuinely. He looked over at his team. "What do you guys say to a party at Benny's?!" The guys except Lucas and Billy cheered oce more, pumping their fists up. "Then get ready! We're goin'!" The team departed to their own vehicles. Only Jason, Billy, and Lucas were left. The younger blonde eyed the dark-haired boy. "You comin', Lucas?"

"Uh...yeah, yeah, of course," he answered, almost sounding like he didn't. Billy looked up at him, concerned.

"Billy?" Jason looked at him expectantly.

The former captain gave him a sorry smile and shook his head. "Yeah, sorry, I would, but...kinda hafta do something tonight."

The small smile that was on his face dropped, though he tried to look neutral, like he was hiding disappointment. "Oh really?" His voice lost its jovial tone. "What's that?"

He grinned. "A date." Lucas became confused as he looked down at him.

"You have a date?" he asked.

He looked up at him, feigning perplexity. "What, ya think my paralysis made me ugly?"

Jason chuckled a little. "It's a bit surprising, to be honest, but it's good to hear you're still going like you used to." Billy slowly nodded at him as he backed away and raised a hand. "See ya, Billy."

He raised a hand as well. "Bye, Jason." With that, he left.

"So, uh...who's picking you up tonight?" Lucas asked. "The girl you asked out?"

Billy scoffed, then chuckled, confusing him even more. "I was lying, Lucas. Don't got a date. Just don't wanna go."

He raised his brows up, understanding now. "Oooooooh..."

"Just get me right on that wall." He pointed to the extruded walls near the double doors. "The guy pickin' me up'll catch me." The boy shrugged and was about to push him until-

"Lucas!" Jane called out not too far from them. Both him and Billy looked where her voice came from, seeing her run up to him. She collided with him in a hug, nearly having his hands off of the handles of the wheelchair. Lucas laughed and hugged her back, the two patting each other's backs. The teen only watched this with a bit of amusement. "You did great during the game! And that shot, like-" She mimicked his jump and shot, making him laugh and Billy grin. "That was soooooo cool!"

"Yeah, kicked your school's ass," Lucas replied with confidence, straightening his jacket. "All that training paid off."

"I'm proud of you." He nodded before she looked down at Billy, giving him a simple wave. "Hey, Billy."

He gave her a little wave back. "Hey, Jane. Came to support Lucas too." She smiled, glad they were coming a long way from what happened in '84. But since he was here...

"Where's Max?" The guys' faces fell, making her worried.

"At Enzo's, she couldn't come to the game," Lucas answered.

"'Cause of my piece of shit dad," Billy added. Jane frowned, but nodded. The two girls had talked about him, so she wasn't surprised. Even so, that sucked.

"Do you know where the rest of the Party is?" Lucas asked her.

"Oh, uh-" Before she could answer though, they heard the double doors open.

Spilling through them was the Hellfire Club, cheering and jumping around, lively as ever. Lucas's face fell while the tomboy's eyebrows shot up. They even noticed somebody new in the group. "Is that Erica?" she asked. Lucas slowly nodded.

Billy looked up at his face...he knew it was of betrayal. "Weren't ya supposed to be there?" he asked cautiously. Lucas only nodded again, him and Jane looking sorry for the new champion. He crossed his arms. "Shit..."

"Lucas..."

"And speak of the devil..." Billy let out a loud whistle with his lips. The club stopped being animated and looked straight at the three. Dustin looked at Lucas and Jane wide-eyed while Erica looked a bit...guilty, surprisingly enough. The other members looked horrified to see Billy while Eddie kept a straight face.

"Shit..." Dustin murmured, never feeling more guilty in his life.

"I-is that..." Gareth stuttered, gulping. "B-Billy Hargrove...?"

"Yup," the long-haired guy answered plainly. Gareth, Jeff, and Paul recoiled back.

"And Sinclair's next to him..."

The curly-haired boy sighed, glancing at them. "Don't overreact. He's okay now."

Jeff was not convinced at all. "You sure, man? He could be faking it, for all we know."

"No, Dustin's right." The three looked up at Eddie in utter shock.

"H-huh?"

Just then, Patrick came up to Lucas and planted a hand over his shoulder, getting his attention. "Hey, Lucas, you coming?" he asked.

Lucas just nodded and said, "Yeah, yeah. Can you give me a ride?"

He nodded back at him. "'Course, man." He looked down at Billy. "You coming too?"

He shook his head. "Got a date after this."

"Oh." He nodded again, smiling. "Cool." He wrapped his arm around Lucas's shoulder.

The boy turned to Jane and said rather somberly, "Say hi to Mike and Will for me."

She nodded and replied, "Say hi to Max for me, if you can." He nodded back, then he left with his fellow team member, that sinking feeling of betrayal boiling inside him.

"And there goes Sinclair, pulled towards the dark side..." Eddie said dramatically, his voice low and dark.

Erica scoffed and hugged her manual tighter. "He's going with them?" she asked with an edge to her voice, rolling her eyes. "I need to tell him what's what." With that, she departed for him and no one stopped her.

"That sucks, man," Jeff muttered. "It was cool having another brother in Hellfire..."

Eddie sighed, shaking his head and crossing his arms. "Well, there's nothing we can really do about it, gentlemen. Let's leave him up to Lady Applejack." The group saw as the Sinclairs talked to each other, Erica more baffled at what her brother was saying. Then he ducked forward, then turned himself around to face them. "You've went through a perilous journey and won against the greatest darkness. All heroes deserve rest after such a time, so let's go our separate ways and get build up our energy for the next campaign." The group nodded, then he opened his arms for a hug. All of them went in. "No matter what, whenever we're down or kicked around, we'll rise like-"

"Hellfire!" the group shouted.

Watching this made both Billy and Jane feel sad. Billy was a complete asshole of a captain, but that didn't mean he felt close to his teammates. Jane, on the other hand, was reminded of how the Party used to be together like that...now that wasn't the case, since they've gone their separate ways.

The group separated, though Dustin and Eddie were going in the same direction. The curly-haired boy went up to Jane, awkwardly greeting, "Hey..."

"Hey..." she awkwardly greeted back.

"Sooooooooo, how was the game?"

She shrugged. "It was cool. How was The Cult of Vecna?"

"Super cool, wished you were there." She smiled sadly.

"Oh, my campaign is only 'super cool' to you, Henderson?" Eddie asked sarcastically, gripping the handles of Billy's wheelchair.

He scoffed. "It was amazing, Eddie. Better than anything I've played before."

The long-haired guy smiled, feeling his pride swell. "Thanks for being a wonderful player, Dustin."

"See you next campaign?"

He nodded. "Next." They exchanged smiles before he wheeled Billy off.

Jane was puzzled at that. "They know each other?"

"Live in the same neighborhood, he told me."

That just raised more questions for her. "Oh...?"

He nodded. "Yeah, I know. Weird." There was a bit of awkward silence at the moment.

"So, you wanna tell me how the Cult of Vecna went while I get to the parking lot?"

He grinned, then raised his brows. "You're gonna wish you've had a part in it."

She scoffed. "Just tell me, Dustin!" They departed, her friend going all in on the details along the way.

"After such a harsh and tragic year for our town, our beloved Tigers have won the championship for the first time in twenty-two years!" the announcer on the sports radio said.

"And what a fantastic game it was, Allen!" the second announcer said. "That lucky buzzer-beater sure brought a great end to the game. And it was done by benchwarmer Lucas Sinclair!"

"I'm sure he feels on top of the world right now-"

"Yeah, yeah," Neil muttered as he switched stations to a classic rock station. He, Susan, and Max were all driving away from Enzo's now, dressed formally.

Max frowned, looking out the window. At least he won. She never really cared for sports and she never would, no matter how involved her boyfriend was in basketball. She guessed all of his enthusiasm for the game paid off...in a way, she felt kind of proud of him. With that, her frown turned into a small smile.

Chrissy Cunningham hid behind the van Eddie told her about, pulling her sleeves over her fingers and jiggling her foot as she waited nervously. Habits to keep her calm. She looked around, seeing that nobody was still around. That was good...that was good. She couldn't imagine if...if one of the squad catches her near Eddie's van...or one of Jason's teammates...

Or Jason himself.

Her heart raced with fear, the sleeves enveloping her hands and her foot jiggling faster. She bit her lip, feeling that fear that had haunted her for months now. Was this too selfish? Buying the Special K Eddie mentioned because she wanted it? Not because of anything or anyone else? What if she got caught? What would happen to her reputation? Would Jason dump her? How would her mother react? If she lost everything and became a target for ire...

Her breath turned shaky, her sleeves swallowing her hands and her whole leg moving now. She didn't want that to happen...she never wanted it to happen. She just wanted to do something for herself. It would help, right? It was just one time and Eddie was really kind...super kind. Eddie was unlike anybody she's ever met before. Eddie was so...

Suddenly, she heard that familiar clock chime, her blood turning cold. Frozen, she scanned her surroundings again. There was only dim lighting around this dark...empty...back of the school...

Another chime. Her whole body shook, pressing against the side of the van. She frantically took another look around. Still nothing...

She shook her head, muttering to herself, "No, no..."

Not too far from her though was Eddie and Billy. The blonde was filled in by his brunette friend that his client was going to the trailer with them. Odd, but that was fine with him. Then he spotted the cheerleader uniform on the girl right next to his van. He looked and felt like he was struck by lightning. "A cheerleader, Ed?" he asked.

"Not just any cheerleader, Billy," he replied before whistling to get her attention. "Hey!"

That whistle broke her concentration on the chimes, seeing Eddie not too far from her. She immediately felt relieved before noticing that she was pushing someone on a wheelchair...that someone being Billy Hargrove. Her eyes widened. He told her that he was picking his roommate up from the game, but she never expected...

As they got closer, the blonde's jaw dropped when he saw her face. He looked up at him with such a baffled expression. "Chrissy...Cunningham?" Eddie just grinned. Of all the people in this school to strike a deal with him...it was the girl he hooked Jason up with?!

The two stopped in front of the stunned girl, Eddie asking in concern, "You alright?"

"Uh, yeah..." she answered shyly, nodding her head. "Y-you didn't tell me..."

"Oh, right." He went over to the passenger's side and opened the door. "Yeah, never told anybody that the previous King of Hawkins High's living with me 'cause the King himself told me not to." He smiled, shrugging. "And I never break a vow, so..." He put his hands behind his back for a few seconds. "Yeah, surprise."

The two stared at each other awkwardly, Chrissy deciding to give her boyfriend's idol a timid wave. He gave her a wave back. "So, uh..." He cleared his throat. "How you been?"

"...okay," she answered in that same shy tone. "Are you okay?"

He nodded. "Yeah." He tilted his head up. "You and Jason doin' good?"

She gulped, but nodded. "Yes...we're good." He and Eddie detected hesitation in those words, but then she asked, "You, um...know what Eddie does?"

Eddie cracked a grin and answered for his friend, "Oh, he deals too."

He glared at him in sharp disapproval. "Ed," he said sharply.

"Oh..." She nodded, pulling a sleeve with another. "I-I won't tell."

Surprised, he turned to her. "Wait, really?" She nodded again. Here, he thought she was just another pretty face...nah, she was being kind so far. Kind and shy, shit.

"You don't mind sitting at the back, do ya, Chrissy?" Eddie asked. She turned at him, a bit confused. He pointed at Billy. "This guy needs to sit at the front so he won't get thrown around while I drive."

He scoffed, pointing at her. "Dude, she'll get thrown around if she sits at the back with you at the wheel." She smiled nervously, holding back a giggle. "I can sit at the back. It's not like my wheels are loose."

Eddie scoffed back at him. "Dude, you're paralyzed."

Billy ducked his head down. "So?" Unfortunately, a small giggle slipped out of the girl's mouth.

Now his friend was unpleased. "Whaddaya mean 'so'?"

"Exactly what I meant. I have brakes-"

"Dude, brakes won't be able to get you up when you fly off out the window." He made a quick swoosh gesture with his hand to prove his point. Chrissy's giggles turned into laughter, covering her mouth with her covered hand. The two guys became annoyed with each other.

"Then, I dunno-" He shrugged. "Don't drive like a goddamn lunatic?"

Eddie chuckled, his glare playful. "Look who's talking." Now she couldn't stop herself.

He raised his brows, huffing. "Not that I'm able to do that shit no more."

"Which is why you're sitting at the front."

"And let a tiny girl suffer through your driving skills?" He shook his head. "No way."

"She'll be fine-"

"No she won't!"

Eddie spread his arms out. "The hell do you know?!"

Billy did the same while leaning his head forward. "The hell do you know?!"

"Guys, guys!" she cried out, the two looking straight at her. She was still grinning and giggling, though she was trying to get a hold of herself. After a moment, she told Billy, "I-I'm alright with sitting at the back."

Billy became skeptical. "You sure, Cunningham?" He pointed at his friend one more time, shaking his head. "'Cause I'm tellin' you, he always drives like he's drivin' away from the cops." Eddie scoffed and shoved his shoulder. "What? Takes one to know one."

"Shut up."

She laughed, replying, "I'm sure. I'm used to it." Now their looks were concerned, making her feel nervous and gulp. She pulled a sleeve over her fingers once again, not meeting their gaze.

After a moment of awkward silence, Eddie broke it with a clap, startling her a little. "Alright. With that settled, you wanna help me get Billy to his seat?" He gestured towards the open passenger's side. Feeling the need to actually do something, she nodded, going towards the two guys to help and eventually get in.

"Have fun in California, you guys," Kali said warmly to her family, hugging every single one of them. "Don't get into any trouble," she said to Jane.

Her little sister scoffed, breaking away from the hug. "I can say the same about you," she retorted, tilting her head towards Steve, who was putting her suitcase in the trunk of his car. "You and him, back here in Hawkins? Can't be anything good." She chuckled.

"Well, we're responsible adults now. You and Mike are still kids."

"Teenagers."

"Same thing," Steve chimed in dryly as he came up to the girls, making Jane roll her eyes.

"Whatever." She went back to her mother and father-figure.

"Stay safe, you two," Terry told the older teens.

"But don't forget to have fun!" Andrew added encouragingly, the couple grinning.

"Oh, we'll have fun!" Steve responded, raising his hand up. "Drink margaritas while you're in Cali!"

The Ives and Andrew laughed before Jane responded dryly, "We're not going to Hawaii or anything. I can't even drink."

Her older sister pointed at her with a sly grin. "See? Still a kid." The long-haired girl rolled her eyes again as she went to the van. Terry and Andrew went after her, still waving at the teens. They waved back before they got into the van.

Just then, Kali let out a little yawn. Her boyfriend smiled down at her. "Alright, let's get you home, Sleeping Beauty." She laughed at that before they both got into the car. Andrew's van left first, then Steve's car.

"It sucks that Kali can't come with us," Andrew said as they got on the road.

"And Steve can't come with her because of his job," Terry added. "It's a shame. I'm sure they'd love to see Jonathan again."

"Well, at least I won't have them be on my case whenever I'm with Mike," Jane stated, laying spread eagle across the floor. "So there's an advantage." The adults chuckled at that.

"So, how excited are you to see him again?" her father figure asked.

Her smile had never been wider than it was now. "I swear, it's killing me that we're not even on our flight yet. Even if we have to wake up at 6, I'd still wanna go and see him already!"

The couple laughed. "You'll get to him sooner than you think, I promise."

"You better be right." He just grinned at that. The conversation died down, so the three continued on to Anderson to pack up and get ready.

Meanwhile, in Steve's car, Kali was "resting her eyes" while he drove. He could never get enough of her sleeping face. It made her look so cute and beautiful. He'd never been happier with a girl before...that was why he was so worried about them needing to talk tomorrow. He hoped it wasn't anything bad - it couldn't be, right? Kali said they were good after the date, so it was probably nothing, just responsible adult stuff that they need to do...he thought. Maybe. Plus, he felt like it was warranted after...well, the rocky waters of their relationship.

Whatever, they needed to get to his home, which was empty due to another business trip his father had and his mother coming with again. They'll be at peace there, at least.

Carol laid on the couch in Winston's trailer, watching a soap opera after a phone call from him. He said he'd hit the jackpot and was coming back. Got enough to get out of here and into some better place. That was good, great actually. Having that much money would always keep her around. He'd never know that she took a chunk of his winnings to buy the drugs...

The drugs she hadn't touched since this noon.

She looked over at her bag, which was situated next to her on the ground. She should probably throw that shit away before he comes back, maybe flush it in the abandoned bathroom's toilets. The thought of doing that made her squeamish. That bathroom was only clean on the outside as far as what was seen coming in went. That was thanks to Eddie and Billy so that they'd use it for drug deals. But who knew how the toilets looked? Maybe she could dump them in the forest?

No, wait...there was a reason she brought them back with her.

At first, she wanted to confront Billy about how the drugs made her experience her nightmare when they had never done that before. But he was already gone when she finally got back from the forest. She looked all over for him before going to the trailer. Wayne miraculously answered her knocks and told her that the guys were at Hawkins High for their games. That meant they had to be back at night.

She looked over at the clock above the TV - it was nearly nine.

If they weren't back now, they were heading there.

She sat up on the coach, now completely ignoring the next episode of the soap opera as she eyed her bag. How did she want to approach them? Straight on confrontation? She didn't know, Eddie looked scary enough and who knows about crippled Billy? He still looked strong enough to stop her for Eddie. Maybe try to make small talk before getting there? Yeah sure. It would buy her more time to prepare, but would they be stupid enough to fall for that before she hit them with the accusation? Did she want to have the extra time? What else could she do...?

Maybe...seduce them into telling the truth?

A chill went down her spine. Not a chance in hell was she going to do that to Eddie. Maybe Billy would fall for it, since he was missing out, but still...did she want to? They could spread word around that she did and there wasn't a doubt Winston would hear it when he came back...

Yeah, that was off the table.

She huffed, burying her face into her hands as she thought about what to do, if she should prepare if things went wrong. Those two were drug dealers, after all...

Chrissy not minding the blaring sound of Iron Maiden had both of the metalheads pleasantly surprised. It surprised her too. It wasn't unusual whenever she'd hang out with the squad or Jason that pop music would blast at the same volume. But this music...it was even more intense and chaotic than what his band played at that talent show.

She wondered why she was liking it.

And Billy wasn't kidding when he said Eddie drove like a lunatic. Sharp turns and jerky stops had her hold onto the cushions of the seats like her life depended on it. Billy told his friend that he told him so, but Eddie retorted that she wasn't out the window, so she was safe. She laughed once more. Then something hit her hard:

She had laughed and smiled more today than she did in her entire life. And not because she felt like she had to, they just...came out.

All because of Eddie.

And his bantering with Billy as well.

Before she had more time to think on that, Eddie stomped on the brakes one last time, jerking both Chrissy and Billy forward. Again, she held onto the cushions, so she didn't dive headfirst at the front. "Welp, here we are," the long-haired man announced, turning off the engine and unbuckling himself. He faced Chrissy, who was shaking a little. The grin he had disappeared in a heartbeat. "You okay?"

She nodded, smiling. "Just a little...dizzy," she answered.

"Wow, man, real classy way to handle a client," Billy told him sarcastically. His friend just rolled his eyes and opened the door, hopping on out.

"I'll get the back," he stated before shutting the door. Chrissy nodded and got herself there, trying to keep her balance.

Eddie opened the back doors and carefully let the cheerleader out. She tried to ignore the feeling of another guy holding her hand for a brief second, then held her side to keep her steady for another second. Then he grabbed the folded-up wheelchair and propped it back into shape while Chrissy opened the passenger side door. Together, they helped Billy back down his wheelchair, even if Eddie did most of the heavy-lifting. Once he was secured in his wheelchair, the three approached the Munson trailer.

"So, this..." Eddie said, waving jazz hands towards the home. "...is our castle." His silliness made Chrissy grin again, her hands laced together in front of her.

"The prettiest outta all in this neighborhood," Billy added slyly, now making her giggle while Eddie just smiled. "Speaking of which, can ya get my leftovers from the fridge, Ed?"

His friend raised a brow, genuinely confused. "Why?"

"Gotta feed Skippy."

"Skippy?" Chrissy asked. A bark from afar startled her, the three glancing at a fluffy dog up against a gate the McHollis's put up and barking.

The brunette motioned his hand towards the canine. "Skippy." She nodded. "Anyway, I'll get the food." He went up the steps and opened the door, politely giving Chrissy an inviting gesture. "After you." Smiling once again, she went up the steps and got into the trailer. Eddie got in after her, closing the door behind him.

It still was unbelievable to Billy that she was the client his buddy had. Jason mentioned a party...he guessed she was supposed to be there instead of here. But who knows? Maybe she was better off here than there...

He wished he could've convince Lucas to skip it before he got taken away.

In fact, there was something that felt...off about tonight. He wasn't sure what it was though...

Ending here. How was this cooldown chapter? Any mistakes or typos I might've missed?

Shorter than usual, but this is a cooldown chapter after all. The super long chapters will be for the far-distant future! Plus, I've actually worked on this chapter and the next while this site was going through some issues, so expect the next chapter in a couple of days!
