Hello all Storm here with a new chapter! Not really much else to say other than hope you enjoy the chapter and the surprises in it. So, without further ado.

Not long after Naruto and Rika left the park, several trucks appeared at the sight of the battle filled with people in overalls, masks and goggles coming out and begin setting up a crime scene. Once the area was closed off the people began scanning the location for any sign of the Digimon that had Bio-Emerged.
With them was a man with fair skin, flat straw-blonde hair, and dark sunglasses over his eyes. With his attire consisting of black dress shoes, black dress pants, a greyish-blue button-up shirt, a dark blue tie, and a black suit jacket over it. Along with him carrying a silver zippo lighter he kept flicking the lid of open and close.
This was Mitsuo Yamaki, Leader of the Hypnos Organization, which had originally been founded to monitor electronic communications of half the Earth as a means to track criminals. With the organization having been kept secret due to also monitoring private and personal information.
Though after discovering the existence of Digimon, being called "Wild Ones" by the organization, giving them a new objective of tracking down Digimon and preventing them from Bio-Emerging. While the Digimon that do manage to Bio-Emerge are quickly hunted down and captured to be studied. Another objective is ensuring there are no media leaks about Digimon and covering up any incidents involving them.
Leading to a team being sent out after detecting the group of Gazimon Bio-Emerging, but by the time they arrived they were already destroyed and their data was absorbed.
'Meaning there could've been another Wild One that Bio-Emerged and absorbed the data. Damnit, that means there's still a Wild One here and it's gotten even stronger.' Yamaki thought, gritting his teeth at seeing all the damage caused by the battle between the Digimon.
Before calming down, knowing they'll soon locate the Digimon and bring it in for study, wanting to know how it was able to slip past their systems. If they're somehow evolving and adapting to hide their presence, allowing them to Bio-Emerge without Hypnos detecting them.
Yamaki was pulled from his thoughts when he noticed something standout on the ground, making him frown and crouch down to see what it was. His frown growing at seeing it's a few strands of blonde hair, much to his confusion.
'These couldn't have come from a Wild One, nothing is left of them but data once they're destroyed. Was there someone else here?' Thought Yamaki, only to look at one of his men when they came over with a scanner.
"Sir, we're picking up faint traces of data right here." Said the agent, with Yamaki's frown deepening at this before pulling out a small bag, placing the hairs inside so they could be studied.
"Whatever Wild One was here, it looks like it wasn't an ordinary one. Keep scanning, see if we can't pick up a trail or something for where it went." Yamaki ordered, intending to find out just what kind of Digimon they're dealing with.
*Timeskip-One Day*
The next day after waking up, Rika had showered and gotten dressed in her uniform for school, while making sure to also sneak some breakfast to Naruto.
"Here. I managed to get you some breakfast." Rika said as she entered her room, handing Naruto the filled plate.
"Thanks. Though I hope you aren't expecting me to dress up and go to school with you. You might be my Tamer, but I'm drawing the line at going to school." Replied Naruto, taking the plate and began eating while looking at Rika's uniform in distaste.
With it consisting of a white buttoned shirt, under a gray buttoned blazer with the Kagurazaka Girls' Academy's crest, a golden harp in a brown background, on the left side of the chest and a pocket on each side, a black skirt, black socks, and white shoes.
The Hybrid definitely didn't like the idea of having to wear a uniform like that, let alone having to attend another school after the Academy.
"Don't worry, I wasn't planning to anyway." Rika said, rolling her eyes before looking at him sternly.
"But I am expecting you to stay home while I'm at school." Added Rika, making Naruto frown at having to stay here all day.
"Why?" Questioned Naruto, wondering why needed to stay here.
"Because I don't want to deal with the trouble of explaining why there's a complete stranger following me out of my home, let alone one that can do what you can. Besides, it's not like you would even know anything that's in this world to begin with. Well nothing that doesn't involve Digimon, anyway." Rika said, crossing her arms.
Covering up the fact that the last thing Rika wanted to deal with is the headache of whatever article or news story the press would come up with. If some free-land photographer got a picture of her, the daughter of the famous Rumiko Nonaka, with Naruto.
'I don't even want to imagine that.' Rika thought, internally shuddering at what would happen, while being grateful her status as her mother's daughter isn't well-known.
But a story like that would definitely make some headlines, making that fact much more well-known and put her on the paparazzi's radar.
"Can I at least explore the rest of the house?" Naruto asked, wanting to at least familiarize himself with his new residence.
"No, you can't. My grandmother will be here and she can't see you and Kami-forbid if my mother saw you." Said Rika, knowing it'd be even worse if her grandmother or mother discovered Naruto.
"Look, just…stay in here until I get back. Find something to entertain yourself with or try thinking of how you're going to do better for the next battle. I'll be back in a couple hours." Rika said as she left her room before the whiskered blonde could respond.
Naruto frowned at the redheads dismissal before finishing the last of his breakfast and looked around the room, seeing what there was to entertain himself with.
*Later*
'I'm so bored.' Naruto thought as he sat the volume of Dragon Ball he had been reading, having discovered a surprisingly large collection of manga, anime and figurines that Rika had hidden away.
With the Uzumaki having started reading the Dragon Ball manga after getting curious of what it looked like, being further intrigued at the use of Ki Attacks. Making him wonder if he'd be able to find a way to recreate them using Chakra.
Though while he read a few volumes, Naruto eventually started getting tired and wanted to do something else. Mostly wanting to be able to leave the room and house, wanting to see what else this new world had to offer. Even if he's thankful he didn't have to go with her to school, even if it wasn't to attend it, the whiskered blonde was getting bored. Making him tempted to just disobey Rika's orders to not leave the room, even though she'd likely be angry that he'd left.
Unfortunately, unknown to both Naruto and Rika, in the Elemental Nations the Uzumaki Clan were the reason for the saying "You can lead a horse to water, but can't make it drink". So while he knew he shouldn't do anything that'd draw attention to him, Naruto also didn't want to sit around in Rika's room until she got back.
'Then again, Rika did say I couldn't explore the house and that she didn't want to explain me following her around. But…I wouldn't be exploring the house, and she isn't here for me to follow either.' Naruto thought, smiling mischievously.
Vanishing in a burst of speed out of Rika's home, Naruto couldn't help but take a deep breath once he was outside before he began exploring Shinjuku. Eager to see what there was to do here and everything that he could see.
'And at least I have money that can be used here too.' Thought Naruto as he pulled out his frog wallet, which had miraculously been sent with him, relieved that all the ryo he had has been converted into Japanese yen.
Seeing how much he had on him, Naruto was pleased he had a good amount to enjoy the rest of the day before he continued exploring.
*Later*
'It's not as good as Ichiraku's, but it's still really great!' Thought Naruto as he eagerly ate his ramen, having been excited to find a ramen stand.
With the Uzumaki having first gone to a nearby arcade, playing several different games before leaving to get something to eat for lunch. Being relieved and excited that there was a ramen stand near the arcade, something that did lower his mood at thinking of Ramen Ichiraku. Though he didn't let it bother him for long and quickly began eating several bowls of different ramen. Wanting to see how it compared to Ichiraku's.
Something that did get shocked and disbelieving looks from the workers and other customers, none of them expecting anyone to be able to eat so much.
"Hey kid!" Someone yelled, making Naruto pause midbite and look to see who spoke.
Seeing a young woman, guessing she was eighteen-years-old, with fair skin, dark magenta hair that fell down just past her shoulders, and dark pink eyes. With her wearing a light blue shirt with rolled up sleeves, two pockets on the front, black strips on the shoulders and a black bar over the left breast pocket with a silver insignia on the middle, as well as a blue tie, dark blue trousers and a dark blue peaked cap with a black visor and a dark gold cap badge. Along with a light blue bracelet on her left wrist.
With the woman currently looking at him with narrowed eyes and her hands on her hips.
"What do you think you're doing?" Demanded the woman, with Naruto blinking slowly and looked around before turning back to her.
"…Eating. Is that a problem miss?" Naruto replied, which only annoyed the woman.
"It's Officer. Officer Yoshino Fujieda. And yeah it is a problem when you're supposed to be in school rather than out here, skipping it." Yoshino said, believing Naruto's a delinquent skipping school.
"Really? But I just came here to get some lunch. I didn't think it'd be a problem if I wanted to eat somewhere else and then got back before class started." Said Naruto, making Yoshino's frown lessen at hearing this.
"Well it is. You can't just leave to go eat somewhere else. Now come on, I'll escort you back before you get into even more trouble for leaving." Said Yoshino, with the whiskered blonde nodding.
"Okay, just let me pay and we can go." Naruto replied as he went to take out his wallet, only for the officer to stop him.
"It's fine, I can do it." Yoshino said, figuring it wouldn't hurt to pay for his lunch, seeing that he wasn't intentionally skipping school.
Before she took the bill from the chef, only for her eyes to widen in shock at just how much it was.
"Why is it-?!" Said Yoshino before she saw the large stack of bowls of ramen Naruto had eaten.
With the pinkette then quickly noticing that Naruto was now gone, making her rapidly look around, only to scowl at seeing him running away.
"See ya lady! And thanks for paying!" Said Naruto, grinning and waving at Yoshino, much to her anger at being tricked.
"You little brat! Wait 'til I get my hands on y-" Yoshino said, prepared to go after the Uzumaki, only to be stopped by the chef holding out their hand expectantly for payment, much to her annoyance.
*With Naruto*
'Hehehehehe! I can't believe she fell for that!' Thought Naruto as he ran, laughing mentally at tricking Yoshino and getting her to pay for his ramen.
"Where do you think you're going, brat?!" Yoshino yelled, surprising Naruto as he looked behind him, seeing the purplette had managed to catch up to him.
Seeing that she was able to catch up faster than he expected, Naruto began running faster to escape while looking around for something he can use to stall her.
The Hybrid smirked at seeing he was near the park and quickly ran to it, with Yoshino following right after him. With Naruto seeing someone throwing birdfeed at some pigeons and ran to them, grabbing the bag from them.
"Thanks!" Naruto said before tossing the birdfeed in the air towards Yoshino, causing the pigeons to flock towards her.
Naruto then kept running but looked back to see if that stopped her, feeling pleased to see Yoshino try to swat the birds away when they tried grabbing the feed that landed on her. Only for the officer to keep chasing after him, making the Uzumaki keep looking for things to delay her with.
Before he then ran towards the fence and jumped over it, going into the street forcing the cars to stop at his sudden appearance.
"What do you think you're doing?!" Demanded Yoshino as he climbed over the fence, not believing he'd run into traffic like that.
"Trying to escape a persistent stalker!" Naruto replied, jumping over a car in front of him and heading towards an alley.
Growling at his attitude, Yoshino got over the fence and continued after the delinquent as he went down an alley. Seeing him turn a corner and jump over a fence, Yoshino ran faster to not lose track of him, only to end up yelping when she jumped over the fence and landed in a large garbage can. With her growling again as she saw Naruto running away, laughing.
"You're going to be in so much trouble once I get my hands on you!" Yelled Yoshino, getting out of the garbage and continued her pursuit.
Naruto only laughed louder at her shout, though did feel some respect at her determination to catch him and how she's able to still keep up. As while she's not as fast as a Ninja, she's still doing a better job than the Chūnin, Jōnin and even Anbu that chased him after pulling off one of his bigger pranks.
'But I should try and lose her, soon. Don't want to end up drawing even more attention by having a police officer chasing after me.' Thought Naruto, looking around for where he could lose her, only to smirk when he spotted a school nearby.
'Well if she wants to bring me back to school so badly, then let's give her what she wants!' Naruto thought, jumping over the school wall and into a yard, spotting a shed before making him run towards it.
"HA! I've got you, now!" Yoshino said, seeing where Naruto was going and ran after him, just as she saw the Uzumaki run into a sports equipment shed.
"No where left to run, no-AH!" Said Yoshino, only to yelp when soccer balls came spilling out of the shed on top of her, sending her stumbling and tripping back.
"I swear I'm gonna-" Yoshino said her annoyance growing at the trick, only to stop when a bag of powdered chalk fell on her, covering the purplette in white powder.
"See you, lady!" Naruto said, rushing past Yoshino as she tried wiping the chalk off her face, only to end up tripping over the balls across the ground.
The officer growled as she got up and wiped the chalk off her face, looking around for where Naruto went before running back to the gate, scowling in annoyance when she didn't see him anywhere.
"I swear the next time I see you; I will catch you!" Yoshino said, swearing she'll catch Naruto the next time she sees him.
"No you won't!" Naruto called out from where he was, only annoying the purplette further.
*Later-With Naruto*
After making sure he had managed to finally lose Yoshino, Naruto continued exploring Shinjuku before spotting a card shop, making him stop and look at it. Looking at the card shop in contemplation for a few moments, Naruto shrugged and went inside, figuring he could buy some Digimon cards.
'With how big Digimon are, I might as well get into the card game myself. Plus this would be a good chance for me to get some more of those Digi-Modify Cards for when Rika and I are battling Digimon.' Thought Naruto as he entered the shop and looked around.
Grabbing a few packs of cards and paid for them, exiting the shop as he began seeing which ones he managed to draw.
'Let's see…MegaSeadramon's Thunder Javelin, BlackWarGreymon's Black Tornado, BlackGatomon, Behemoth, BurningGreymon's Drag Fanger, Veemon, AeroVeedramon's Twister Saber and Dragon Impulse.' Thought Naruto, grinning at the cards he got, seeing how good they were and even seeing some rare ones.
Looking through the rest of the cards, Naruto put them in his pocket before noticing the position of the sun, seeing how late it was getting.
'I guess I should be heading back home now, since Rika will likely be back soon and it'd be better if I got back before she did.' Thought Naruto, knowing Rika would be leaving school soon, so he needed to return before she saw he was gone.
Though as he was making his way back, Naruto didn't watch where he was walking and ended up bumping into someone, knocking them both to the ground.
"Sorry about that, I wasn't watching where I was going." Naruto said as he got up, before seeing the person he bumped into was Kushina.
"It's fine, I wasn't really watching eit-Minato?" Said Kushina only to stop when she looked at Naruto in confusion, with the whiskered blonde also being confused at what she called him.
"Uh…no. My name's Naruto Uzumaki." Naruto replied, confusing and surprising Kushina again.
"Oh, uh…sorry, you just seemed familiar. I'm Kushina." Kushina introduced, figuring it might just be a coincidence they had the same last name.
"Well…nice meeting you then Kushina. But I need to get going, so…see you later I guess." Said Naruto before walking past the redhead with a wave while giving her a few glances which Kushina returned, unable to help but look at him curiously.
'Naruto…why does he seem so familiar?' Kushina thought unable to help but feel like she should know Naruto, before she thought of something.
'Could he be…' Thought Kushina, wondering if Naruto was like her, being from a different world.
At first Kushina had thought they were just strange dreams, that she was born in a different world and had some power called Chakra and used things called Ninjutsu. Along with being able to grow golden chains out of her body. She had believed they were simply dreams, that is until she started being able to walk up walls with just her feet and stand on top of water like it was solid ground. And one time a gold chain actually shot out of her back when she woke up from one of her "dreams".
After all of that it was hard not to believe that her dreams were real and she was somehow reborn in this world, probably after dying in the other world.
'I feel like I should know him, does that mean he's from that world too?' Kushina thought, wondering if Naruto's potentially from that world like her and if he had any memories of it.
Looking at Naruto's retreating form for a few moments, Kushina continued on her way still thinking over the chance that Naruto is like her.
Once the redhead reached a less populated area, Renamon emerged from the shadows beside her Tamer.
"Kushina, that Naruto person, they're a Digimon." Renamon revealed, making Kushina look at her with a raised brow.
"Are you sure?" Kushina asked since from what she saw Naruto didn't have anything she'd expect from a Digimon, even human-like Digimon have something different about them yet he looked completely human.
"I'm sure. The only thing I can't be sure of is what kind he is, my only guess is that he must have some form of shapeshifting to disguise himself. But I can't help but also feel…something different about him." Replied Renamon looking back to where they saw Naruto, knowing he was a Digimon, but he just seemed different than others she's encountered.
"Do you wish to pursue him, Kushina?" Renamon asked, looking at her Tamer, only for the redhead to wave it off.
"No, if he is a Digimon then he doesn't seem to be doing anything wrong, and didn't try attacking us either. And for all we know he could have a Tamer, and I don't want to take away someone else's partner just to make you stronger." Said Kushina, knowing while they will battle other Digimon so Renamon can grow stronger, she didn't want to take another Tamer's partner.
"I see, very well. But should we encounter him again, I would ask that you allow me to battle him still, even if it's not to delete him and load his data." Said Renamon, still feeling intrigued at what kind of Digimon Naruto is and wanting to see what he's capable of, wanting to see which of them would be stronger.
"You seem really interested in seeing Naruto, again. Are you sure you don't want something else besides just fighting him, Renamon?" Kushina asked teasingly, much to the vixens surprise.
"Wh-what?!" Renamon said, while the redhead smiled teasingly at her.
"You know what. Even if you were hiding, I could just feel you kept looking at Naruto, even now you keep looking to where we saw him. Do you maybe have a crush, Renamon?" Said Kushina, her smile growing as Renamon blushed at her words.
"I-I don't know w-wh-what you mean! I am merely curious of what kind of Digimon he is, nothing more!" Said Renamon, only for Kushina to keep smiling.
"It's alright if you like him Renamon, he's pretty cute don't you think. Especially with the whiskers. I bet you really like the idea of having a nice, strong fox like him." Kushina said teasingly, while Renamon's blush grew more intense.
"Please stop, Kushina." Renamon said, making Kushina giggle.
"Alright, besides I'm sure you'll be daydreaming about him enough without my help." Said Kushina, enjoying how embarrassed her partner became.
While Renamon could only sigh at her Tamers teasing, not used to something like this and definitely hadn't been expecting it when she sought out a human partner. Having only desired the chance to have aid in battle and to help her achieve her Digivolution. Assuming her Tamer would be the same and only want to fight other Digimon and get stronger.
Only to be surprised when she met Kushina, with how kind and warm she is, treating the vixen as nothing less than as a friend since they met. Along with being rather mischievous with her as well, always teasing her since she first Bio-Merged.
*Flashback*
"Wow…a real Digimon…this is so cool!" Kushina cheered, smiling brightly at Renamon after snapping out of her shock,
"W-what?" Said Renamon, blinking in surprise at her Tamers behavior.
"I can't believe I'm meeting a real Digimon and I get to become a Digimon Tamer! Even better it's with one of the coolest Digimon ever! This is the greatest day of my life!" Said Kushina, surprising Renamon again when she hugged her.
"Are…are you alright?" Renamon asked, not expecting this kind of behavior from her human partner.
"Of course I'm alright! I'm able to become a real Digimon Tamer and have you as my partner! Oh yeah, I'm Kushina Uzumaki, it's great to meet you Renamon!" Kushina said, pulling back and smiling at the Animal Digimon.
"It is…nice meeting you as well, Kushina. I hope that both of us will be able to share our strength with each other." Said Renamon, bowing her head only for the redhead to stop her.
"None of that, we're supposed to be partners and friends. And the first thing to do is to celebrate us becoming a team! Come on, I have some ramen to heat up!" Said Kushina, grabbing Renamon's hand and pulling her to the kitchen, with the vixen only able to follow along in surprise.
'This is…not what I was expecting.' Renamon thought, watching as Kushina took out some ramen from the fridge and heated it up.
Before Kushina looked at her Digivice when it began beeping and flashing red, with it then turning to look like a compass with an arrow pointing in a direction.
"Kushina, another Digimon is Bio-Emerging. We should act fast and go to it." Renamon said, wanting to see how her new Tamer handles herself against other Digimon.
Only to be surprised again when Kushina simply waved it off and put her Digivice in her pocket.
"Eh, if I'm a Tamer then there are probably others too. They can handle it, we still have to celebrate and eat." Kushina replied, much to Renamon's disbelief.
"B-but…but don't you wish for me to load the data of Digimon we defeat? So that I can grow stronger and grow closer to Digivolving?" Questioned Renamon.
"What I want is to spend some time with my new partner and friend, not go out fighting. But you don't have to worry Renamon, I'm sure there'll be plenty of other Digimon that appear for you to fight. So there's no need to be so impatient about missing one fight." Kushina said, smiling teasingly at how her new partner already seemed eager to battle.
"Of course there will be other Digimon. I just don't see any reason to postpone battling them." Renamon stated, making Kushina's face fall at the lack of reaction to her teasing.
"I'll get you soon, Renamon." Said Kushina, swearing she will get a reaction from her partner.
"I don't understand, you already have me." Said Renamon, tilting her head in confusion, with the redhead sighing before fixing them two bowls of ramen.
*End Flashback*
'I just didn't think I'd get her this soon! But now I know what to do!' Kushina thought eagerly, pleased that she knows how to get a reaction from Renamon now.
Before the redhead heard her Digivice going off and flashing, showing a Digimon is Bio-Emerging.
"Where is it?" Renamon asked, eager for the distraction and the chance to finally battle another Digimon.
"Let's go see who we'll be taking down." Said Kushina, pulling out her Digivice as the compass appeared, leading them to the Digital Field and the Bio-Emerging Digimon.
Following where the compass was pointing, Kushina and Renamon soon arrived at a construction yard with the Digital Field already covering it. Leading Kushina to put a pair of sunglasses on to protect her eyes as they ran through the fog. Once they emerged out the other side, the partners saw what Digimon had appeared.
With the Digimon resembling a lion cub, only with it being the size of a fully grown lion, with a golden coat of fur, sky blue eyes, a tuft of red hair on top of its head, and a golden collar around its neck with a green gem hanging from it.
"A Liollmon, a Rookie-level and Holy Beast-type Digimon. Huh, it's supposed to really territorial." Kushina said, seeing the information that her Digivice brought up.
"Hmph, so it seems even in the Human World you have heard of my grandeur. And yes, I don't like it when intruders enter my territory!" Growled Liollmon before he then smirked and puffed out his chest.
"But I am nothing if not generous. In exchange for your life, human, bow down and worship me as your superior and I'll let you live. Consider it an honor you even have the chance to gaze upon royalty such as myself." Liollmon stated proudly, making Kushina look at him blankly.
"I think the Digivice forgot to mention the massive ego they have too." Said Kushina, causing the Holy Beast Digimon to snarl in anger.
"You dare mock me human?! I'll tear you apart!" Said Liollmon, moving to pounce on Kushina.
"Diamond Storm!" Renamon said, unleashing a barrage of glowing, razor sharp leaves forcing Liollmon to jump back growling only to stop and look Renamon up and down.
"My, what a lovely creature you are." Said Liollmon, smirking appreciatively at Renamon's looks, making the vixen scoff.
"Save your empty words and be more worried about how quickly you'll be deleted." Retorted Renamon, with Liollmon merely chuckling.
"And you have a fire in you, that's good. I do love the chance to have such a fiery mate. Become mine and I'll even let your pet human go, despite her insults." Liollmon said, causing Kushina and Renamon to glare at him.
"I'd sooner delete myself than join an arrogant Digimon like you." Renamon said, now fully intending to reduce him to as many pieces of data as she can.
"Yeah! And Renamon already has a love interest, one that's way better looking than you!" Added Kushina, with her words causing Renamon to blush in embarrassment and face-fault at how her Tamer would do this now of all times.
"Would you please stop that!" Renamon exclaimed, looking at Kushina in annoyance.
"I'll stop once it stops being funny, so probably never." Kushina replied with a smirk, making the Animal Digimon sigh before quickly getting back up when Liollmon spoke.
"You would dare say anyone is better than me?! And you would give yourself to some lowly Digimon that could never even dream of measuring up to my majesty?! Perhaps you aren't worthy of being my mate if you would throw yourself at some lowly creature." Liollmon sneered, making Renamon glare at him at the insult to her tastes in a mate.
Even if she isn't interested in Naruto as a mate, she refused to be insulted like that either.
"…I'm going to enjoy this more than I should. Spin Kick!" Said Renamon before rushing Liollmon and began spinning around while kicking her leg out at him, forcing the lion-like Digimon to move back.
"Very well, if you desire to be defeated so badly, I'll oblige! I'll even go easy and then show you what a real mate is like. Lio Claw!" Liollmon roared while jumping towards Renamon and swiping his claws at her.
With Renamon quickly jumping back, just barely avoiding being slashed by the claws, which ripped through the ground where she'd been standing.
"Diamond Storm!" Renamon said, releasing another barrage of leaves at Liollmon.
Only for Liollmon to let out a loud roar knocking the leaves away, before his body began sparking with electricity.
"Feel my power!" Said Liollmon swiping his claws through the air, releasing claw-shaped waves of electricity at Renamon surprising her at the attack.
"Digi-Modify! Alias activate!" Kushina said, swiping the card through her Digivice, switching Renamon with a clone that was destroyed by the attack.
"Behind you now. Power Paw!" Said Renamon, shrouding her paws in ghostly fire before delivering a palm strike to Liollmon's body, sending the Holy Beast Digimon skidding across the ground.
Though Renamon was surprised when Liollmon merely smirked at her attack, not looking even a little injured.
"Lio Claw!" Liollmon said, rushing Renamon before she could react, smashing the back of his paws into her and sending her crashing into a wall, with the vixen grunting at the impact.
"Renamon!" Said Kushina in worry, about to go over to her partner and check on her.
"Stay back!" Renamon said before Kushina could get caught in the fight, while narrowing her eyes at Liollmon who merely smirked at her.
"Don't be offended my dear, my beautiful coat is more than just for show. It helps guard me against even the strongest of attacks. Yet still softer than any material, just so you know what it feels like when this is over." Liollmon said confidently, making the vixen growl lowly.
"Swift Strike!" Said Renamon, appearing in front of Liollmon in a burst of speed, delivering a just as fast chop to his head, knocking him back a little.
"Korenkyaku!" Renamon said, jumping and flipping through the air before diving down at Liollmon delivering a series of kicks to his body.
Liollmon grunted lightly at the kicks, growling lowly before he unleashed a loud roar empowered by electricity. Making Renamon grunt in pain as she was shocked and sent flying back, skidding across the floor once she hit the ground.
"Lio Claw!" Said Liollmon, digging his claws into the ground before raking them up, releasing electric arcs towards Renamon.
"Digi-Modify! Speed activate!" Kushina said, swiping another card through her Digivice with Renamon vanishing in a burst of speed, avoiding the attack.
"Power Paw!" Said Renamon, appearing crouched down right in front of Liollmon before delivering an uppercut straight to his chin, launching Liollmon up into the air.
"Now I have you! Daimond Storm!" Renamon said, releasing a barrage of razor sharp leaves at the Holy Beast Digimon.
With Liollmon growling as the attack hit him, before letting out a blast of electricity that incinerated the leaves, only for Renamon to jump up into the air after him.
"Spin Kick!" Renamon said as she began spinning around and rapidly slamming her leg into Liollmon, annoying him further.
"Critical Bite!" Said Liollmon snapping his jaws around Renamon's leg when she tried kicking him again, causing Renamon to grit her teeth at the pain.
Before she grunted when Liollmon threw her against a pillar, gritting her teeth again as she stood back up, while Liollmon fell to the ground growling.
"It'll be a good thing when I stamp that defiance out of…" Said Liollmon, only to stop when he felt something different about his coat.
Looking at himself, Liollmon's eyes widened in rage when he actually saw shallow cuts covering his body and parts of his fur having been sliced away.
"You…you…you have ruined my coat! Lio Claw!" Liollmon roared, completely enraged that the vixen had damaged his appearance.
Roaring in fury as she rushed Renamon, moving much faster than before, surprising the Animal Digimon, with his claws held up to tear her apart.
"Digi-Modify! Armor activate!" Said Kushina, swiping another card, creating a pilebunker on Renamon's hand.
Which she quickly raised to block Liollmon's strike, only to be knocked back by the force of the blow, with her pilebunker shattering under the force of it.
"The only thing you'll do now is give me your data to help me Digivolve!" Growled Liollmon before letting out an electric-powered roar, shocking Renamon once it hit her and pinning her against a wall.
"Digi-Modify! Dorumon's Metal Cannon!" Kushina said, swiping the Attack Card, allowing Renamon to begin accumulating power.
Once she'd gathered enough power, Renamon created two iron spheres in her hands and launched one of them straight at Liollmon, with it managing to move through his roar. With Liollmon quickly moving out of the way of the iron ball, only to roar in pain when Renamon threw the second. The iron ball smashing right into his head
"Let's see how he likes a taste of his own medicine! Digi-Modify! Wizardmon's Electro Squall!" Said Kushina swiping the next card, giving Renamon a new attack.
"I'm sure this will be a shock for you!" Said Renamon, conjuring a storm cloud above them, which soon unleashed an intense lightning strike straight down onto Liollmon.
But rather than be hurt by the attack, Liollmon stood back up as the lightning hit him, letting out a laugh-like growl.
"Thanks for that. Now fry!" Liollmon roared shooting out a blast of lightning from his mouth towards Renamon, surprising the vixen before she cried out as the lightning hit her, vaporizing her entire body.
"Hmhmhmhm, you should've taken my generous offer when you had the chance, but instead you had to anger me. Now…your turn human." Said Liollmon, turning towards Kushina, only to frown when he saw the redhead was smirking.
"Digi-Modify. Alias activate." Kushina said as she showed the card she just swiped, causing Liollmon's eyes to widen while Renamon appeared behind him.
"And you should've taken my advice to worry more about being deleted. Korenkyaku!" Said Renamon, kicking her leg up at Liollmon's body, knocking him into the air.
With the Animal Digimon jumping up after Liollmon and repeatedly kicking him higher and higher into the air, before used his body as a platform to jump above him.
"Let's finish it Renamon! Digi-Modify! Power activate!" Said Kushina, swiping one last card, giving Renamon a power boost.
"Power Paw!" Renamon said, coating her paw in ghostly fire as she dived down and slammed her paw right into Liollmon's chest, making the lion-like Digimon roar in pain.
Before he was silenced as he crashed into the ground, cracking it on impact, and dissolved into data. With Renamon landing and loaded the data into herself, feeling her strength grow as she absorbed it.
"Alright! We did it! You were awesome, Renamon!" Kushina cheered, smiling at happily at their first victory, with Renamon bowing her head.
"Thank you Kushina, I don't think I could've won without your help." Said Renamon, pleased at the new victory before she looked at where Liollmon was.
"You know, Liollmon and their Digivolved form Liamon are said to be endangered, it's lead many Digimon to wonder if they even exist. With Liamon even being considered nothing but an illusion. Now it seems we know why, they don't know when to stop talking about themselves." Renamon stated, making the redhead look at her with wide eyes before grinning brightly.
"You actually made a joke! Oooohh, I'm so proud of my cute partner and that I'm rubbing off on you!" Said Kushina, pleased at how Renamon was starting to loosen up.
"Yes, rubbing off on me like a bad itch that I can't scratch, no matter how hard I try." Renamon said dryly with Kushina still smiling.
"I think you're amazing too, Renamon. Now come on, we should head home." Kushina said as she turned to leave, feeling tired after that fight.
"Of course, Kushina." Renamon said, while having a small smile on her face once her Tamer wasn't looking.
Perhaps she wasn't the kind of Tamer that Renamon had been expecting, she can't deny that after so many years of training and loading the data of fallen Digimon she's fought. Her interactions with Kushina are proving to be rather…nice.
'Perhaps having her as my partner, as my…friend, won't be so bad.' Renamon thought as she and Kushina left the construction yard.
*With Naruto*
Meanwhile after returning to the Nonaka Residence, Naruto had resumed reading the Dragon Ball volume he was on before he left. Only for it to soon be snatched out of his hands by Rika, after she returned home from school and saw what he was reading.
"Where'd you find that?!" Rika demanded in mortification and embarrassment at where he got that.
"Hey, what's the big deal? I was reading that." Said Naruto with frown, only increasing Rika's embarrassment as she saw the other volumes he'd already read.
"Did you go through my stuff?!" Said Rika as she quickly gathered up the volumes to put them back.
"Yeah, you did tell me to find something to entertain myself with and I found that. Cool collection by the way." Naruto replied, with Rika being completely embarrassed that he saw her collection and now knew she was an Otaku.
"No one can ever find out! No one!" Said Rika, refusing to have anyone find out she's an Otaku as she did have a reputation to maintain.
"Alright, alright. Relax, I won't say anything." Said Naruto, rolling his eyes, while the redhead put the volumes back where they were.
Though before she could say anything else, Rika noticed the new Digimon cards on her table, ones that were definitely not hers.
"Naruto, where did you get these?" Rika said, narrowing her eyes, making Naruto scratch his head sheepishly, having hoped she wouldn't notice the new cards.
"I…may've gone out to explore. But can you blame me, I'm in a new world and I wanted to see what there is!" Naruto said, knowing he was caught, making the Tamer look at him sternly that he disobeyed her before sighing in annoyance.
"Just…as long as you don't go near my school then fine, you can go out to explore." Said Rika before looking at the new cards he pulled, amazed at seeing so many rare and powerful ones, knowing how useful they'll be.
Only for her eyes to widen in shock and amazement when she saw one card in particular.
"You actually got a Digi-Egg of Courage?! Digi-Egg Cards are some of the rarest in the entire game with the Digi-Egg of Miracles being the rarest of them all! How did you get this?!" Rika said in disbelief, having been trying to get just one Digi-Egg Card ever since she started playing the game, but has never managed to find one.
"I just went to a local card shop and bought a few random packs, so I just got luc-" Naruto said with shrug, only to yelp when Rika grabbed his wrist and pulled him out of her room.
"We're going to the card shop, right now, and you're picking out all the packs we buy!" Said Rika, her usual calm and cool persona completely breaking, only feeling eager to have him get lucky and get her more Digi-Egg Cards and other rare ones.
With her tunnel vision making her forget her grandmother is home and she just dragged a boy out of her room, only focusing on her current goal. Luckily, Naruto managed to free himself from her grip and moved into the shadows before she could see him. The Uzumaki, though, couldn't help but chuckle at how quickly Rika's attitude changed. Knowing it'll be good material for later.
So, what did you think, good. Yep we see Hypnos and Yamaki cleaning up the sit of Naruto's battle with the Gazimon and Deltamon, before Yamaki finds some strands of hair that seem to be giving off data fragments, leading him to collect the hairs for study.
Then we go to the next day where Rika gets ready for school and sneaking Naruto some breakfast, while telling him not to leave the house or to wander around, not wanting him to be seen by anyone or risk them being seen together. Leading to Naruto discovering a collection of manga, anime and figurines Rika has hidden away, while reading some Dragon Ball volumes. Before he grows bored enough to head out and explore, leading to him getting some ramen.
Before we then get the surprise appearance of Yoshino Fujieda from Digimon Data Squad, though it's not the same Yoshino and instead her becoming a police officer like in the epilogue much sooner. And believing Naruto's a delinquent skipping school tries taking him back, leading to a chase as Naruto evades her and gets Yoshino hit with a few tricks, before managing to escape with Yoshino swearing to catch him.
We then see Naruto going to a card shop and getting several rare and powerful cards, including a Digi-Egg of Courage as we later learn. Before he bumps into Kushina, with both of them being intrigued by the other, especially Kushina as we learn her memories have been returning as dreams, learning they're true when her Chakra begins returning. Making her wonder if Naruto is also reincarnated like her.
With us following Kushina as Renamon reveals Naruto is a Digimon, only for Kushina to wave off the idea of deleting him, in case he has a Tamer, not wanting to take away anyone's partner. Before teasing Renamon about her interest in Naruto being about more than just fighting, much to Renamon's embarrassment, not used to being teased like this.
Leading to a flashback as we see Kushina's reaction to meeting Renamon and how she already views her as a friend and enjoys teasing her, much to Renamon's confusion and surprise, not expecting her Tamer to be like this.
We then get them battling a Liollmon, who's rather arrogant and full of himself, desiring to have Renamon as his mate. Though does prove to be a strong opponent, especially when he stops holding back, only for his arrogance to be his downfall as Renamon deletes him and loads his data. While also showing she may not mind having Kushina as her partner and friend, despite her teasing.
Finally we see Rika return home only to be mortified that Naruto discovered her collection and that she's an Otaku. Only to find the new Digimon cards he got, much to her amazement before dragging Naruto to a card shop, eager to get more rare and powerful cards, especially more Digi-Eggs, much to Naruto's amusement. So, for those that like the story, thanks for your support. For those that don't or at least don't like the direction taken, you're more than welcomed to drop the story. But thanks for giving the story a chance anyway.
