"Actually, two people." Agent 2 corrected.
A female Octoling with magenta hair and a female Inkling with yellow hair came running up to them. The Inkling yelled, "HI MARIE!" while waving enthusiastically.
The Octoling smiled and waved toward them. "Hi."
"Uh…who are you guys?" Cerrena asked.
"This is Agent 4 and Agent 8." Agent 2 said.
Agent 4 smiled. "Heyoooo!"
Agent 8 said "Hi. What's your name?"
"I'm Agent 3!" Cerrena said. Agent 8 looked confused, while Agent 4 looked like a light bulb went off.
"Oh, this is Agent 3! I thought you said that she had really bad hy-" Agent 4 started.
"No, no Agent 4, the Agent 3 I told you about is the Captain. Gramps retired, so the old Agent 3 became the Captain and then Gramps recruited a new Agent 3." Agent 2 explained.
"Oh. Well that makes more sense. The new Agent 3 looks more fun." Agent 4 said. The Captain looked slightly offended.
"Well, it's nice to have some introductions, but Gramps is like, maybe dead soon. So we should probably get moving. Come on, Agent 3, let's see what we can do with these things we got." Agent 2 said.
"We could turn them into a lawn mower," Agent 8 suggested. "As long as we don't try to turn anyone into goo with it."
"Why would we do that?" Cerrena asked.
"I dunno. Just doesn't seem like a good idea." She shrugged.
They got to work turning it into a weird looking lawn mower. They all pitched in, including Fish. His job was to be cute and let everyone squish him, which Agents 4 and 8 really liked to do. A lot. When they were done, it looked funny, but it worked.
"Okay, let's do this!" Agent 1 yelled.
"Wait, what are we doing?" Agent 8 asked.
"The Captain is going to use this to get rid of all the Fuzzy Ooze in the way of the rocket, because Gramps is somewhere up there." Agent 1 said.
The Captain started glowing, almost like she had a special ready. She lifted the lawn mower thing, with some difficulty, but she made it look easy. She threw it straight toward the rocket, and super jumped after it. She grabbed it in midair, and mowed all of the Fuzzy Ooze. They all went after the Captain, onto the island that the rocket was on.
When they all got there, the Captain was sitting on the ground. Agent 2 ran up to her and said, "You okay? You sprained your tentacle and can't go on?"
"Oooof." Agent 4 said. She was a weirdo.
"Don't worry, Captain! Agent 3 will go on and save Gramps." Agent 1 said.
"Wait, why am I going?" Cerrena asked.
"Why are we NOT going?" Agent 4 asked.
"Probably because we've already saved the world, and it's her turn." Agent 8 said.
Agent 4 pouted. "Hmph."
"Well, I might as well get going. C'mon Fish." Cerrena said, and started walking.
"STOP RIGHT THERE!" Someone cut in. Deep Cut was back! "Heck yeah, we're back! Frye said, jumping. "You think we're just gonna give up? Yeah right!"
"Giving up is weak. Did you think we were weak?" Shiver asked.
"Who are these people?" Agent 4 whispered. Frye heard her.
"Say it with sizzle, I-" Frye started.
"We're Deep Cut. We don't have time to be cool. We want that treasure back!" Shiver interrupted.
"Yeah! If you don't wanna mess with us, then back away from the treasure!" Frye said.
"Ay! (What she said!)" Big Man agreed.
"Oh, that?" Agent 2 asked, glancing at the weird contraption they made. "You can have it if you want. We're done with it."
"Done with it? Done…with treasure? Are you nuts?" Shiver asked, shocked.
"Yup! Don't worry about that. You can have it!" Agent 1 said, holding her hand out toward it.
"This is a trick. Right, Frye?" Shiver said, looking at Frye.
"You expect us to believe you after our battles? Frye said, and they looked disbelieving. "Wait, why am I fighting you? Thanks!" They sat down and thought for a second. "I feel kinda bad, about fighting you to the death. And you're just like, giving it to us!"
"That's a boss move. Why don't you be our boss?" Shiver asked.
"Ay? (Can I get a raise?)" Big Man asked.
Agent 4 gasped. "Boss Marie?! OOOO!"
"Looks like you get your very own employees! Isn't that exciting?" Agent 1 said.
"Glorious." Agent 2 responded.
"Okay, I should like, actually get going now…bye!" Cerrena said, and left. She inked the end of the ride rail, and started going up. She got to the top, and walked into a room.
She went onto an equip thing, and her only option was…nothing. Except Fish. She chose it, unhappy about it, and kept going. She didn't have to pay a fee to move on, and so she went through.
"Oh, snippy snaps! They took all your stuff!" Agent 1 exclaimed.
"Rude." Agent 2 said.
"If I had set that trap, I would be doing the "yay, the trap worked!" dance right now. Actually, I'm gonna do it right now. It's fun!" Frye said.
"Ooh, can you teach me?" Agent 4 asked.
"Do I just keep going with just Fish?" Cerrena asked.
"Yeah. Do you think you could do it?" Agent 8 said.
"Yes." Ahead there were two circles, the type where you would stand on it and it would open a door or something. She threw Fish onto one, and it activated. She stood on the other, and the door ahead opened.
The room in front had a balloon fish on the ceiling, and a bunch of Octarians just chilling. One of them had a shield on. She threw Fish at the balloon fish, and defeated most of the Octarians. She threw Fish at the last one, and the door opened. She kept walking, and bonked her nose on the wall. "Ow!"
"Hey, Agent 3, there's a wall there." Agent 4 said.
"Thanks. That was helpful." She turned to her right, and there was a giant flooder right there in her face. "AAUGH! Geez, that scared me! Fish, eat it." Fish stopped the flow of ink coming from it, along with stunning it. She walked under it, and got onto a platform with a steppy thing on it. "This way, Fish!" She said, and Fish came back. The platform came up, and she stepped on the grate in front of her. The flooder was coming back, and she hopped on top of it. She rode it until it got to the other side. She hopped on the other grate, and turned to her right.
There were two vaults, and when she got down from the ledge and looked to the left, there was a pathway. She went forward, and got the checkpoint. She got onto a platform with a propeller on it, and threw Fish at it. It moved forward, and she hopped onto another platform that had a different propeller on it. This one brought her up, and when she got to the top of the building that was conveniently there, she went down a grate that was also conveniently there.
She went around the corner, and Frye said, "I smell something fishy!"
Cerrena went down another grate. "What smell? Are you guys making food without me?"
"Ooo, snacks. I'm hungry." Agent 8 said. Cerrena went down yet another grate.
"Ay. (That's Frye's way of saying there's a key here.)" Big Man explained.
"Oh. I wanted snacks." Cerrena said, disappointed. She went to the left, and went up a gusher that was there, with the help of Fish. When she got to the top, there was an Octarian there, so she threw Fish at it, and it got splatted. She went up yet another gusher. "There are a lot of grates and gushers here, what's up with that?" she asked.
"They're trying to make you ask questions." Agent 4 said.
"Well they did one job right." she responded. She got the key that was in front of her, along with the checkpoint. She went down-yup, a grate. She went down a ramp, and turned to her left. She saw an ink wheel, and a flooder.
"Uh, how are you gonna get through this?" Agent 1 asked.
"Easy! You do a double floop and skim the blorble, with stealth." Shiver said.
"Uh, what?" Agent 2 asked.
"You got it, Shiver!" Cerrena responded. She threw Fish at the ink wheel, had him come back, and threw him at the flooder. The ink wheel kept going, slowly, but eventually broke the boxes that were in the way and she was past the flooder. She jumped onto the platform that was there, threw Fish at the propeller, and jumped onto the grate. She waited until the flooder came back, jumped on it, and waited till it got to the other side. She grabbed the key and opened the vaults.
One vault had an ink wheel, and the steppy thing. She stepped onto the circle, and threw Fish at the ink wheel. The ink wheel inked the wall, and she called Fish back. She threw him onto the steppy thing, and went up the wall. Once she was up there, she called him back.
When she went into the next room, two Octocommanders appeared, and there were two ink wheels near them. She threw Fish at one ink wheel, while hiding behind a wall. When the one guy was splatted, she came out and threw Fish at the other one. When it was splatted, a door opened. She went through, only to come face to face with a closed vault.
"Hold up," Agent 2 started.
Cerrena heard a noise behind her. "Agent 3! Look out!" Agent 8 yelled. Cerrena whipped around, seeing an Octosniper right behind her. She threw Fish at it, but the Octosniper shot at her, breaking her armor. Fish splatted the Octosniper, and a key appeared. She got the key, opened the vault, and moved on. Another equip thing was ahead, and when she went to equip, she got her stuff back. She went up a wall, and moved on to the next area.
Author's note: Uh. Hi. Sorry I haven't uploaded in a while. Turns out I'm a silly pants, and I procrastinate. A lot. Clearly. There's been, like, two splatfests, a big run, the announcement for the expansion pass, and an announcement for another splatfest since I last put up a chapter. Yeah, I procrastinate a lot. Sorry about that. Hopefully I won't be as lazy with the other chapters, and knowing me, I'll have to tell myself "no Splatoon until you upload a chapter" for the other chapters. (I did that this time, and clearly it works. So we'll have to see how I do with the other ones.)
ANYWAY, for the next splatfest: Who's real, Nessie, Aliens, or Bigfoot. (uhh where's the boogey man?) yaay! Bye!
