The Narutos grinned and surrounded Kiba and Akamaru within seconds.
Kiba looked confused. "Since when could you do the clone jutsu? It doesn't matter I can still smell you," the Inuzuka barked before charging at one of the Narutos.
As soon as Kiba made contact the clone disappeared in a puff of smoke much like his Nara teammate had done in his own match.
"How?" muttered Kiba as the smoke seemed to continue to pour out across the arena changing colours. "But the smell," he thought to himself out loud and soon it was impossible to see anything.
A few minutes later and a yelp and bark were heard as the smoke dissipated revealing a trapped and bound Kiba and Akamaru covered in seals and a single Naruto.
What surprised the audience the most was that both Kiba's hair and Akamaru's fur were dyed orange.
"What did you do to Akamaru?!" Kiba shouted trying to struggle in his restraints but finding himself paralyzed. Akamaru let out a bark and Kiba started to yell about his hair.
Naruto only smirked mischievously letting out a silent snicker. Kiba was not amused, but the spectators couldn't help but laugh much to the Inuzuka's embarrassment.
"Naruto!" Kiba bellowed still trying to break free but unable to move due to the seals.
"You remember Kiba, that I make my own pranks…" Naruto said smirking and bringing out a small vial and casually flipping it in the air. "We're friends and I don't want to have to hurt you Kiba, so if you and Akamaru want to ever stop matching me then you're gonna have to forfeit," Naruto said grimly gripping the vial in his fist.
'Is this really Naruto?' Kiba thought before glancing over at his Ninken. He sighed realizing he had truly been beaten by the so-called dead last and announced that he gave up.
The proctor announced that Naruto is the winner and the blond approached his friend first releasing Akamaru and rubbing some of the liquid into the dog's fur, and pouring some water from his canteen as the orange colour faded from the ninken's fur returning it to its former white colour.
Naruto then deactivated the seals on Kiba and removed them and the ropes, and he helped the other boy up and handed him the vial and telling him that he'd need to wash his hair after rubbing the solution in.
Kiba appeared to still be in shock as he and Akamaru made their way back to his team he turned to glance back at the blonde watching
his orange-clad back as he walked away.
