Since Broadsky's arrest things had changed.

Her parents were closer than ever.

Joy would sleep listening to Booth's story and wake up with his pancakes.

He was always there.

And when he wasn't, she and Bones were at his apartment, especially when Parker was there.

—Why can't I tell Aunt Angela that Daddy slept over?(Joy questioned on a Monday morning) She'll be happy, she likes you together!everyone does!

Brennan looked at Booth wide-eyed, not really knowing what to say.

A rare moment,which he appreciated,but it helped her..

—Well,honey...(Booth began and took his daughter in his arms) Your mother and I are still at the beginning of something and we want it to be ours.

—Even if Aunt Angel will be happy when she hears about it?

Booth looked at Bones. Joy just wanted to share the new news with everyone and he understood, but her mother thought it was too soon to say anything about her relationship.Temperance then stood beside her daughter and say:

—What's ours is ours.(Bones said and moved closer to the two of them) Do you remember?

Joy looked at her and smiled, somehow those words made her understand.

—Yes, I understand. I won't tell anyone, pinky promise.(Joy said and raised her pinky to Bones)

—Pinky promise.(Temperance said and laughed after gently squeezing her daughter's little finger)

—Now let's go baby bones,otherwise we'll be late!.(Booth said and put the girl down) Grab your backpack, we have to leave in 5.

As Joy runs out to get her backpack, Bones hugs Booth.

—What's ours, is it still ours?

—Always,Bones.(He says and kisses her forehead)

Bones smiles.

That was a good ending.

—Why do you and Daddy have to dress up? (Joy questioned as she watched her mother put on Wanda's clothes)

—To get on Grandpa's bowling team.

—You're going to be Dad's girlfriend, isn't that fun? ,Grandpa Max will find out soon enough.

—He won't, we're very discreet.(Temperance said as he looked at the little girl)

—It's Grandpa Max, he knows everything!

Brennan really hoped her daughter was wrong.

After the case was over, Bones went home to get ready, taking Joy with him.

Joy quickly got ready so that they could go to the hospital to see Angela.

Then she was waiting for her mother, until her anxiety spoke louder and she went into the bathroom.

—I'm dying to hold the baby!(Joy said as she stormed into the bathroom until she noticed her mother) Hey, what's that?

—Oh!(Temperance was startled, noticing her daughter's presence) This is a pregnancy test.

Joy was smiling, understanding what was happening.

Her sister was coming.

She could feel it.

Joy smiled and stopped beside her mother.

—And then?(She questioned)

—I'm Pregnant.(Temperance murmured looking at the test) What are we going to do?

—Let's tell Daddy! He's going to go crazy!(Joy said and started jumping for joy.) I'm going to be a big sister! Yes! I bet it's a girl,Parker will be so angry,but he'll like it in the end!

Temperance gave a brief smile as she saw her daughter's excitement,but she was lost...

Everyone was in the waiting room, waiting for the baby to be born, Joy was on Booth's lap, holding the baby gift in her hands.

While her mother was at the side, nervous about everything that was happening.

Joy understood her, she was like this because of the new baby.

She was anxious.

She wanted to tell.

Joy snuggled up to her father and smiled at Temperance, wanting to reassure her mother.

They would be fine.

As Hodgins walked the baby out of the room.

—People, I want you to meet my son Michael Stacatto Vincent Hodgins.(Hodgings said as she left the room with the baby in her arms)

They all stood around the baby.

Joy handed the stuffed rabbit to her mother and sat on her father's lap, watching the little baby carefully.

He was so cute and cuddly.

She couldn't wait for her little sister.

When she went to look at her mother, she had entered Angela's room.

She ran her little fingers gently over the baby's forehead.

—Welcome baby Michael, we are going to do a lot things together!(She whispered to the baby, making everyone laugh).

They stayed there for a while longer, she gave Angela a big hug and held Michael on her lap, with help from her father.

After another hour,they left.

Joy was holding her parents' hands as they walked towards Booth's apartment.

Joy was so excited about everything that had happened, she could hardly stop talking about how cute and adorable Michael was and all the things they would do together.

But then she felt it was time to shut up, when her mother's tension increased.

She then asked to be carried and promptly her father picked her up and she pretended to sleep on his shoulder as she listened to them talking.

—They look so happy.

—Of course, they just had a baby.(Boorh said as he looked at her.)

—Their lives have changed, I expected more apprehension.(Temperance said)When I got with Joy, I was so anxious about everything.

—It's different, Joy came to us with a past, she's our daughter, but she had a life before here. And a baby... it's like a blank slate, it's just amazing, it's like a whole new world.

—And you think that's good?

Of course, I think it's amazing.

Temperance then stopped and looked at him apprehensively.

-What happened? Bones,The baby is fine, it's a healthy baby. They love each other. It's the happiest day of their lives.

Bones took a deep breath.

She looked at him with all her courage and said:

—I am pregnant.You are the father.

Booth just started grinning like a fool.

Temperance let out the air she was holding in and smiled too.

—I'm going to be the best big sister ever! (Joy said excitedly, as she lifted her head from her father's shoulder)

—You're awake, you little monster.

—Yes! You needed to talk alone.(Joy said and looked at her mother) We're going to be fine, all of us.

Booth smiled and looked at Temperance, she was going to talk to Joy about the baby being too small or something, but Booth stopped her.

—Yes,we're all going to be fine,Jolly.

Temperance kissed her daughter's head and thanked her softly.

Booth smiled at them both.

He couldn't stop smiling.

—Now let's go home, we have a lot to celebrate today.

—can we watch movies late?

—No, you have school tomorrow.

—A head of hot chocolate celebration?(Joy tried to convince him excitedly)

—That's acceptable.(Temperance said)

The three walked back down the street.

Each happy for their own reason.

Temperance would have a family, hers and hers alone.

Booth would be a father again, and this time he wouldn't miss a thing.

And Joy had finally accomplished her mission:

To unite Booth and Bones.

And she was very happy to be part of this family.

So we come to the end of this adventure.I have an idea of continuation of this story, I'll leave a piece of what I have.I didn't write about the fifth season, because I hadn't thought about it, I wrote something about Bones and christine's escape.

But if you want I can write something small about the 5th season

Here's a little piece.

—What's going on? Why don't you go to the lab anymore and why is everyone acting strange? (The girl asked confused)

—There is a bad, very bad man called Pelant. (Temperance Said and held Joy's hands and looked into her eyes) He created false evidence against me, they think I killed a man and they want to put me in jail for it .

—But you didn't do it right? (Joy asked cautiously)

—No, I didn't do it, but everyone believes I did... (Temperance stated) if I go there, I'll never see you or Christine again.. (She said and placed her hand on Joy's face affectionately )

—No mom! Not that! (Joy screamed and hugged her tightly) What can we do so you don't go to jail?

—Let's run away. (She said looking at her daughter) Get out of here and go far away with new identities.

—All of us? (She whispered fearing the answer)

—No, just me, you, Christine and Grandpa Max.

—But daddy will be alone? (Joy asked frowning)

—He needs to catch the bad guy, we need him here.. his father is a man of the law and what we're going to do is against the law, he has to stay.

—I see. (She sighed) But we'll be back, right?

_Sure, when they catch the bad guy and he's in jail, we'll be back.

—And when are we leaving, Mom?

—Tomorrow after the christening, Grandpa Max will meet us at the church, so I need you to pack a few things that you want, but not too many and that you don't take anything electronic, Grandpa Max will come get them.

—Okay Mom. (Joy said sadly) Can I leave something for Dad too?

—Of course love, leave something. (She said and kissed Joy's head)

As Temperance got into the car and accelerated, Joy saw her father run out to the front of the church.

She quickly released her seat belt, got on her knees in the soft car seat and placed her small hand on the glass towards the man.

She had a feeling that it would take her a while to see him again.

And then she sat back down and fastened her belt and looked at the young little sister who had a tear stained face.

And then she started to cry.

They were officially fugitives.

—We Will go back Christi, I swear we will. (Joy said tearfully to her little sister) let's go back to daddy.

Booth was distraught.

When he returned home he was furious with everyone and everything.

Mainly Pelant.

And then when he walked into the kitchen.

There was a drawing on the workbench.

In colorful colors and the childlike handwriting he knew well it was written.

Let's get back to you Daddy, we love you.

He took the two necklaces and pressed them in his hand.

Pelant would pay for separating him from his daughters and wife.

And it would pay dearly.
