Meanwhile, outside of the church, Rachel was investigating the fiend all night. she had been killing fiends and then notice there more than usual. Not only that but there stronger too. Another thing that has been bothering her was the uneasiness in her blood. The fiendish blood that runs through her vein been sire from the increase of fiend and from that man Ryu. when she first meant him, her blood was screaming at her that he is a threat. He ninjas, so of course there was much danger to that man. But something tells her there is more to that.
'I should head to church myself.' Rachel thought as head there at the same time the man in the brown trench watched from afar.
Rachel heads the church as she was about to go to back she notice the front door was opening. She waited to see who come out a notice it was a nun. Her eyes was cover and wore symbol of the church on head band. The nun head to back church, Rachel saw this chance quick went to the front door before its close. Rachel quickly head to the church's library before anyone can see her. Once she reach there she look around the room to find more information on her true goal. I on how to saving her sister.
She saw art merl with the two sister fiend, Ishtaros and Nicchae.
'This place really have lot stuff about the fiends it seem' Rachel thought as she look at the writing on the merl "during ancient time, the clan from long fuse there blood with fiend in hope of protection from the other clan. With that the two greater fiend were born. Those who blood that tainted with fiend curse are doom and only way to free… is death.' Rachel looks down sadden by this relation. Knowing now that she will have to kill her own sister.
"My child, do you need help?" Rachel quickly turn around to see the nun from before behind her. She ready her weapon wondering how she didn't sense her. Even if the nun was human she should of able to sense.
"Please, I mean you know harm." the nun put her hands up showing no hostility toward Rachel. Rachel kept her eyes on her "did you need shelter from the lockdown? You feel free to stay the whole time till its over."
Rachel put her weapon away and shook her head "no I'm just here to seek information."
"About the greater fiends? If want the best information I suggest you look at that book." the nun point to book that was on postal beside the merl. Rachel towards the book to the writing in it. She couldn't read as writing a fiendish writing that couldn't decipher if with the fiend blood that her read writing. "I can't read this."
"It seems so but please take it. Fiend seem to be… not so keen being near it for some reason. It my be some of use to you." the Nun said. Rachel was about to refuse, but as she turn her head around the nun was gone. Rachel bewilder by this look back at the book and decide to take it.
Back outside. both Sonya and Ryu were almost to the monastery. When Sonya needed to stop.
"Hey Ryu let stop real quick."
"No we don't really have time-"
"Give me fifteen minutes, tops! Besides I need to make sure the location is correct."
Ryu fold his arm "you didn't check?"
"I was do speed run of hacking, not only that there were like monster attack you and-" Sonia look down little shame that she couldn't help Ryu out. Ryu sigh "Fine, but were? We can be out in open were fiend and Vilgoor guards running around."
Sonya point to a shop that seem open. "Let head there." both of them head to shop, inside. Once inside they saw it was weapon shop with verity amount of weapon.
"Oof, My bone are effect me."
Both Ryu and Sonya turn to see an old man behind the counter. Ryu seen this old man before in a form stute that were located outside the village. the old man's name is Muramasa the master blacksmith. Muramasa turn around to see the two visitors.
"Hello there, I'm surprise that i have some visiting this hour specialty during the lockdown."
"Sorry to disturbed you. I just in place to rest and get a signal in my devices. We won't be long." Sonya said as she try to pin point the location of where they need to go.
"I see." Muramasa then turn to Ryu eyeing his two blades. "Interesting blade that you have their. May i have look?" Muramasa ask. Ryu was a little hesitant but he then nodded. He gave the two sword one with dragon blade the other was the blade that Murai let him borrow. Muramasa eye both blades mainly the dragon sword.
"I see, nice craft ship. A fang from a dragon. In ancient time, the thirteen-dragon fought against the fiends. Once the defeated, the evil from the fiend effected one of them turn them to evil dragon. As rest were powerless to stop their brother, they put their power in to a fang and gave to a worthy warrior to defeat the fallen brother. Well that if i recall.
Ryu nodded "You got most of story right."
"I sure hope so, i did most of maintenance on it."
Ryu eyes widen
"Don't be surprise young dragon warrior. I have cross path your father many times. Judging by how you have the dragon blade now does that mean your father had…"
"No. he still around he went on for training and left the blade to me and so was village. But the village was attack and Doku took the dark dragon blade. I'm going to get it back and kill Doku." Ryu said with venom in his voice
"I see i believe you should use the dragon sword to rid of the fiend. The blade was met for." Muramasa look up to Ryu "is there reason why?"
Ryu look down part ashamed to say the blade reject him. He knows blade it to sley evil but the fact he can't hole the sword make him wonder if he's evil like those fiends.
"I'm not ready to use the blade yet."
"I see, well you might want use different weapon. This one won't last long" Muramasa point the dent and chip of the blade that Ryu was using. He also can tell won't last long.
"Let me see, this might work." Muramasa said giving Ryu a staff. Look at the weapon. "It call Luna staff. It much stronger at night."
"I can't take this; I have nothing to give you." Ryu was about to reject the offer until Muramasa but He persistent about taking the weapon.
"Young dragon warrior your journey will have many trails ahead it be best that you prepare for them. Besides I'm taking this blade." Muramasa said as he took the blade away from Ryu whose eyes widen by this. Muramasa couldn't help but giggle "I'm sorry when I see a weapon in bad condition. I must repair them. And trust me this blade will not last long." Muramasa then went to back to repair the weapon leaving Ryu no choice but to take the staff for now since the dragon sword still could not be use.
"O.K. I'm all set i got the signal and." Sonya came back. Ryu didn't noticed that Sonya went to back and change from her Vigoor empire disguise in to more U.S. CIA unform with chest armor. Sonya eyes Ryu's new weapon "Were the other blade you were using?"
"He took it to get repair. So how far from the Church?"
"Just a few kilometers away from what I heard from the radio that was also hacked in to there are some guards outside the church so we should be careful." Ryu nodded as they both quickly head out.
It didn't take long for them to get to the church, when they got there it was surrounded by guards. Sonya scan for an opening while Ryu count many guards there were, wondering if he should kill them or knock them out. Ryu shook his head he getting disturbed by these thoughts he been having. Knowing the hard road of a ninja is a kill-or-be-kill lifestyle. His father taught him to kill when it's necessary as the no point for needless bloodshed. Since he got here his blood has been siring, itching to kill. He was wondering what is going on with him.
