Were you all surprised at what happened last chapter? Don't worry, there won't be any lemon in here since Sonic is still recovering from birthing Shion, and Shadow knows not to go too far so Sonic wouldn't bleed. However, there will be some steamy moments between them in this chapter so I hope all of you can prepare for it! Enjoy!

A small sigh escaped from Sonic's lips as he gazed at the full moon, sitting on the stoned bench in the private garden. Flowers ranged in a variety of colors were un-bloomed, or in Sonic's case sleeping since its nighttime. However, he couldn't sleep and decided a walk to the garden could help him relax.

It's been days ever since he was crowned the new King Arthur, and everything felt different. As their new king, he has to follow up on the damage the fake King Arthur & Merlina had left to the kingdom, along with what duties the knights must be assigned to. They were also hesitant around Merlina, wishing their new king would properly punish her for her misdeeds, though Sonic prevented her from getting killed or exiled by placing her under house arrest, having her reflect on what she had done.

It may have been too lenient, but to Sonic, he believed she redeemed herself after realizing that even if the world isn't perfect, its best to live life to the fullest until the day the world will end. He can tell that Merlina truly cared about the safety of the world, but followed the incorrect actions that nearly hurt the kingdom. For now, its best Merlina reflected on her actions and not be near anyone for the time being.

"Sire?"

Sonic turned his head, smiling a little to see his favorite knight. "Hey Lance! Couldn't sleep either?"

"I'm on my nightly patrol," Lancelot said, approaching him before bowing. "Is something troubling you, your majesty?"

"You know you can call me Sonic. No need to call me majesty or any fancy stuff."

"Your highness-

"There's no one around here, Lancelot. It's okay to just call me Sonic."

He hesitated for a minute, then sighed as he nodded. "As you wish, Sir Sonic."

"Close enough," he scooted to the side, patting the empty spot next to him. "Sit next to me here. It's a full moon tonight, and the view is awesome from here." He looked at Lancelot and spoke before he could open his mouth. "That's an order, okay?"

Lancelot stood still for a minute, then complied as he sat down next to Sonic, raising his visor so he could see the sky better. "You are correct, sire. The stars are easier to see here."

"Told you. Plus, you can see the Big Dipper and all the other constellations."

"Then do you know which constellation is that, my liege?"

"Again, just call me Sonic. And that's easy! Its Orion!"

"What about that constellation?"

"Pisces!"

"Where is the North Star?"

"Sitting right next to me!"

Lancelot turned red, as he looked at Sonic in disbelief. "I-I beg your pardon?"

Sonic pointed to his eyes. "Your eyes shine brighter than any other star, so you're obviously the North Star!" He scooted closer, leaning in a bit closer. "Plus, your dark fur reminds me of nighttime. I'm starting to think you were secretly a star before becoming a knight."

"I-I wasn't, Sonic! I-I had been birthed as a commoner and raised by the Lady of the Lake before becoming a knight!"

"I don't believe you. You're obviously the North Star who made sure I wouldn't get lost anywhere. Don't forget that you helped me get use to the castle whenever I complained about it being a giant maze."

"I-It is my duty to make sure my king never gets lost and-

"And you would answer all of my questions, even if they were considered dumb."

"N-No! Your questions are never dumb, sire! I understood how curious you can be!"

"So you don't think I'm dumb?"

"Never! I would never think that!"

Sonic studied him for a minute, then smiled widely as he leaned in and pecked his lips. "You are so sweet, my shining star. How did I get lucky to be with a kindhearted knight such as yourself?"

Lancelot froze, feeling his face heating up as he looked away. "S-Sire, w-we mustn't be intimate! Y-You are my king and I am your knight! Its strictly forbidden for us to do something so frivolous!"

"And?"

"I am not from a noble family, so it's impossible-

"I'm not either, and I don't care! Being with you had been the best thing that ever happened to me, and I never regretted it!"

Sonic gently grabbed Lancelot's face, turning his head so their eyes would meet. "Lance, that night we had together was amazing. I never felt this way with anyone before, and I'm happy to have given myself to you. I love you and gave my heart only to you. I will never let anyone separate us, even if we came from two different worlds."

He scooted closer, and hugged his knight. "I love you with all my heart, Lance. I love your eyes, your soft fur, your quills, your chest fur, and even your armor. I love how fatherly you are towards Galahad, how patient you are towards me, and how you knew what to do whenever we're in a terrible situation." Sonic tightened his grip on him. "I want you to rule by my side as my king. I don't care what anyone would say, because I pick you and only you to remain by my side forever."

Lancelot didn't say anything, but hugged Sonic back as they embraced each other. His face is still blushing from his king's words, honored that his king thinks so highly of him. He still remembered their sinful night together, glad to be the only one to take his king's virginity. And if Sonic wants him to stay by his side forever, then it shall be done.

"I'll do anything for you, Sonic," Lancelot whispered. "You are my sun."

"And you're my moon and star."

"When are they coming back home!?" Tails checked the clock, rocking a sleeping Shion in his bassinet. "Its past midnight, and they haven't responded to the communicator!"

Amy massaged her head. "Shadow took Sonic somewhere with his chaos control, and we have no idea where they could be." She looked at her friends. "How did he figure out we were stalling him?"

"Knuckles ran out of knock-knock jokes," Sticks pointed her thumb at the red echidna. "Then he tried to play charades with Shadow, but soon stopped when Shadow launched a chaos blast at him."

"Obviously he was being a sore loser because he couldn't figure out that I was a cowboy," Knuckles folded his arms. "I even did my best impression, and he still didn't appreciate it."

"They better be home soon before morning, otherwise, Shion is gonna wake up crying for his parents," Tails checked on his nephew. "Good thing Zooey came over earlier to help babysit before Shadow left to find Amy & Sonic. I still couldn't believe he figured out what we were up to and made us confess."

"Meaning he used intimidation on all of you?" Amy questioned.

"And violence. He even threatened to stab us with his chaos spears," Sticks added.

"Which isn't cool at all!" Knuckles huffed.

Suddenly, Shadow teleported in the shack, frightening everyone. They saw he was carrying Sonic in his arms, awake and flustered with his disguise messed up. His wig was off to show how disheveled his quills were, the straps of his dress were pulled down to reveal his bare shoulders, his pearl necklace is no longer hung around his neck, his lips were slightly puffy with the lipstick smeared off, and some marks on his neck and shoulder.

Amy was ready to yell at Shadow on where he was and what he did with Sonic, but she froze from his intimidating glare, given at her and then to everyone else. She knew the message behind that glare, and she snarled under her breath. As much as she wanted to raise her voice at him, she didn't want to wake up Shion nor frighten Sonic who looked like he wanted to hide himself from the world. Though she wasn't sure if they both fought or did something immoral, but she's hoping they battled and nothing else.

Tails quickly rushed over to where Sonic is, but halted when Shadow's glare intensified at him. Gulping, he softly whispered to him. "W-What did you do to my brother?"

Shadow scoffed at him. "None of your business, fox." He glared at all of them. "Now all of you leave since we're home. And don't wake up the pup, got it?"

Sticks & Knuckles wanted to argue, but Amy & Tails gave them the look to tell them not to. Having no choice, they complied and Team Sonic quietly left the shack, making sure to slowly close the door so it wouldn't make any noise. Once he's certain they've completely left, Shadow went over to their bed, placing Sonic on it as he then headed over to where Shion is.

Glad that his pup is sleeping peacefully in his bassinet, he stroked Shion's head and teleported on the bed, startling Sonic as he grabbed him and pulled him close, pressing his lips firmly against his. Sonic's voice muffled against his lips, trying to budge him off but Shadow tightened his grip, pinning him to the bed until he parted to let Sonic breathe. "I told you we'll continue where we left off."

Sonic panted a little, still flushed from what they did earlier. "W-We mustn't wake Shion."

"We'll be doing this quietly," Shadow leaned closer and licked his neck.

"I-I'm still recovering from childbirth."

"We won't go too far. I just need to mark what's mine."

"S-Shadow, y-you already marked me."

"Not all of you," Shadow lifted up the hem of Sonic's red dress, pulling it off him until he was bare. "I still need to mark these areas first."

He kissed Sonic's neck and shoulder until he moved down to his chest, using his fingers to move the fur away to reveal his buds. He then used his tongue to lick them, causing Sonic to gasp as he covered his mouth with both of his hands, not wanting to wake up his baby. He whimpered a little, feeling Shadow's tongue trace circles around them, until he started to suckle them like a baby hungry for milk.

Sonic eeped, trying to push Shadow off. "D-Don't steal Shion's milk."

Shadow smirked, and licked his lips. "I left plenty of him. Though I have to say, it's really yummy and creamy."

"K-Knock it off, Shadow."

Shadow licked his chest, nipping at every spot to leave so many hickeys on his torso. Then he did the same to Sonic's belly, and all the way down to his legs. Placing Sonic's legs on his shoulders, he leaned forward and licked his private region, causing Sonic to nearly shriek and used his strength to push Shadow away, pulling his legs towards his chest and hugging them as he scooted away from him.

"T-That area is private, Shadow. I-I'm not ready to have that place touched," Sonic blushed, looking away in embarrassment.

Shadow grinned evilly, leaning forward so his face is close to Sonic's. "Then shall I touch another region of your body to make it more pleasurable?"

Sonic shook his head, still blushing red. "L-Lets go to sleep now. I-I think I have enough marks for today."

"Alright, but I will add more marks tomorrow~"

"P-Pardon?"

The next day

"Therefore, I cannot wear that dress again unless its only for Shadow."

"It was a disguise! No one recognized you!"

"Try telling him that."

Amy glared at Shadow, who was sitting next to Sonic and had his arm around him. "Spill it, Shadow! Where did you took Sonic last night!?"

Shadow ignored her, letting Shion grab his finger as he cooed. "You should definitely wear more red, Sonic. It suits you well."

"Hey! I'm speaking to you!"

Sonic looked back and forth between them. "Uh Shadow, Amy asked you a question."

"Inform her where I took you is none of her concern," Shadow replied, stroking Shion's head.

Sonic glanced at Amy. "Let's just say we went somewhere private where couples go for smooching."

Amy gave him a disbelieving expression. "You expect me to believe that?"

Tails sheepishly raised his hand. "Z-Zooey and I went there one time for our date last weekend."

"Alright, little bro!" Sonic gave him a thumbs up.

Shadow rolled his eyes. "By the way Sonic, about our night yesterday-

"Why yes! Our Shion looked so adorable when he was sleeping!" Sonic cut him off, nuzzling his baby who was resting comfortably in his arms. "Tails and the others did a great job babysitting him last night! Don't you think?"

"Except I was never informed where you were really going last night."

"Had to help Amy get back at that prissy peacock like I mentioned before."

"Couldn't she use her hammer on that peacock instead?"

"They're not allowed at fancy Galas," Amy answered. "You still haven't answered my question, Shadow. Just where exactly have you and Sonic went to, and why did it took forever for you to bring him back home while Shion was sleeping?"

Sonic shook his head. "Amy, for your sake, its best you don't know. I don't want to scar you or Tails for life."

"And there's a baby in this room, so we don't want to give him nightmares," Tails pointed to Shion, who is playing with Sonic's brown neckerchief.

Amy puffed her cheeks in anger, deciding to drop it since she didn't want to know if what they did last night was sinful or dangerous. Either way, they better not mess up the dress Amy worked hard to find at the formal dress shop, aka Lulu's Boutique where they have the best dresses, accessories, shoes, and other items that all women could get.

Kissing Shion's head, Sonic gently bounced him in his arms. "Also, Shadow and I have gotten much closer in our relationship. He's comfortable with the kissing and touching."

"But I won't share the details. All I could say is that Sonic is the only blue hedgehog whom I can share physical contact with," Shadow pulled Sonic close to him. "And if any of you dare make fun of me for it, I will annihilate you all."

Tails smiled wide. "We're happy for you, Sonic! And Shadow, that won't work on us since you already used that threat so many times!"

"I'm being serious here."

"Sure you have," he snickered.

Shadow glared at him, tsking at him before he turned his attention back to Shion. "Since the pup is almost 3 months old, he should begin his training."

"You mean his chaos energy?" Sonic asked. "But he can't talk or walk yet."

"He can learn at a very young age. We'll start with the simple basics."

"Such as?"

"Figuring out how much chaos energy he has within him. Once we know the amount, then I'll know what kind of training he needs."

"And how exactly do we know how much he has?"

"Let me hold him. I can use my own chaos energy to determine how much he has within him."

Shadow carefully picked up Shion from Sonic's arms, cradling him close to his chest as he closed his eyes. A green aura surrounded him, causing a light green aura to surround Shion, who giggled as green sparks appeared from his body. The little hedgehog felt safe and comfortable whenever his papa holds him, and the energy his papa is giving him makes him feel happy and strong.

Soon, both of their auras faded away as Shadow opened his eyes. "Just as I thought, the amount he has is almost close to mine."

"By how much?" Sonic asked.

"Hard to say. However, I can tell he'll be a powerful hedgehog who can easily defeat his foes."

"By speed, strength, or power?"

"All of the above."

Tails wrote it down on his notepad. "Once Shion starts to grow, his chaos energy level will be the same as yours?"

"There's a possibility. However, we'll have to wait and see since he inherited his traits from all 3 of his parents," Shadow stated.

"You mean me, you, and Lancelot?" Sonic guessed.

"Correct. Also, he won't be obsessed with chili dogs."

"Well, Shion isn't gonna be broody like you are."

"Touché, blue boy."

Suddenly, the door to Amy's house slammed open, revealing both Knuckles and Sticks who were jumping up and down in glee. They quickly ran in and started rambling about something, though it was hard to understand what they were both saying. Amy stood up and held her hand out, silencing them. "One at a time, please. Sticks, you go first."

"He's here! He came to visit again!" Sticks happily grinned.

"May I ask whom you are talking about?"

Knuckles was the first to answer. "It's Tommy Thunder! The greatest movie star in the whole world!"

"He's in the village!? Today!?" Tails jumped up from the couch. "Is he giving out autographs again!?"

"He sure is! Let's go before they ran out!"

They both cheered loudly, making everyone jump. Unfortunately, their loud cheering had frightened Shion, who began to cry from the noise. They quickly covered their mouths to stop their cheering as Shadow & Sonic comforted their baby, who is still frightened from earlier.

"Hey, it's okay. Your uncles didn't mean to scare you like that," Sonic softly shushed him.

Shadow held Shion close to his heart, rocking him back and forth as he closed his eyes and whispered comforting words to him. A green aura surrounded them, and Shion started to calm down as his cries turned into whimpers, sniffing as tears appeared in his eyes. Shadow stroked his head, placing a small kiss on his forehead while giving him a small comforting smile. "Do not be frightened, Shion. I will annihilate anything or anyone who dare made you cry. And since those two scared you, I shall get revenge for you."

Knuckles & Tails quickly hid behind Amy & Sticks, while Sonic facepalmed at Shadow's statement. Sighing, he removed his hand and looked at his mate. "Shadow, killing is illegal. What Knuckles & Tails did was a total accident, and they're sorry for scaring our baby."

"What he said!" Knuckles exclaimed from behind Sticks.

"We promise to remain on our best behavior, so please don't hurt us!" Tails pleaded, quivering in fear behind Amy.

Sonic kissed Shadow's cheek, and whispered in his ear. "Calm yourself, and I'll wear another outfit for you. Only this time, it'll be in your colors~"

Shadow's breath hitched at what he said, causing him to growl softly as he turned to look at Sonic, using one arm to grab his waist and pull him closer, planting his lips on him for a minute until he pulled away. "It better be the one I like."

"Easy, big boy. It'll have to wait until we get to my shack whenever Shion is sleeping," Sonic patted his chest. "Now, let's tone it down before we ended up giving our friends nightmares."

"Too late. I'm already traumatized for life," Tails raised his hand. "So can we go to the village now to see Tommy Thunder?"
