Man, you guys really want to continue the story after where I left off, huh?

Clearly, I was an evil bastard, stopping the chapter JUST as the characters were about to choose their Starters.

However, you won't need to wait long since I do wanna get this chapter out as fast as possible, especially with Ash and Pikachu's journey ending very soon. After seeing that trailer for the generation 9 anime, I'm curious to see how the new characters will stack up.

Now, I made a slight change to the last chapter in regards to the Pokemon eggs Natsu and Gray got. After talking it through with my editor Crossovernaru, I decided to change the Pokemon they would get, hence now I changed their colors. I know it's cheap to change it after so long, but it made more sense. Just wanted to let you guys know.

But enough about that. TO THE REVIEWS!

Goldfire22: Thank you!

Chavarinnoah6: Thanks pal!

BanRedfox: I mean… those are decent predictions for the eggs, though a few are a bit off since the colors are different. As for the group, you'll see who goes with who.

Guest: That… is both a crazy, yet fun idea. Though I do have someone in mind for Bagon. Sorry!

To recap: The Fairy Tail group were shocked when Kevin offered to give them a chance at being Pokemon Trainers, though they quickly agreed to it. The next day, they all traveled to Sandgem Town, where Kevin and Dawn introduced them to the former's grandfather, Professor Rowan. He gave them all a lecture on Pokemon before showing them the Starters from Kanto, Johto, Hoenn and Sinnoh. Elsewhere, Looker discussed with Jellal about his immense guilt over his past crimes, so he decided they would meet a contact of his in order to help him and Meredy blend in.

Which Pokemon will our heroes choose and what kind of journey will they embark on? Let's find out…

"Now then, Fairy Tail." Professor Rowan stepped away from the table before gesturing to the Pokemon. "Please choose your first Pokemon."

This was it.

The moment that the Fairy Tail wizards were waiting for ever since they were given the offer by Kevin Rowan.

A chance to become Pokemon Trainers and to start their journey through the Sinnoh region.

This was a very crucial moment for all of them. And since they knew next to nothing about the battles and rivals they will face, it was imperative that they thought long and hard about which Pokemon they wou-

"I CALL CHARMANDER! CHARMANDER IS MINE!" Natsu yelled as he quickly rushed over to the Kanto Starter, who looked at him with a curious expression.

"Somehow, I called this." Kevin muttered with a chuckle. Given how Natsu reacted to seeing Altaria, it was clear he had a liking to all things dragon and Charamander did look like a baby dragon.

"Hold it, Salamander. Who says you can take it?" Gajeel asked while stepping up to Natsu, a glare on his face.

"Charamander's a fire Pokemon, which means he's the best Pokemon for ME. Plus, I already called dibs, so HA!" Natsu childishly reasoned while giving Gajeel a look. He then looked down at Charmander with a grin. "So what do you say, Charmander? You wanna come with me?"

Charmander stared at Natsu for a few moments, taking in his appearance and overall presence. It seemed like he genuinely wanted to have him as a partner. Plus, the scent he had on him was a bit different compared to the other humans. For some reason, Charmander felt drawn to Natsu like a Venemoth to a flame.

But there was only one way Charmander could think of to prove how worthy Natsu was.

"(Ember)!" By opening his mouth… and shooting Natsu in the face with Ember.

"(Charmander! Not again)!" Bulbasaur shouted as he and the other Starters stared at Charmader in bewilderment, wondering why he attacked Trainers.

"Hahahaha!" But they were even more surprised when instead of yelling out in pain, Natsu was laughing, with no visible burns on his face. "That was a pretty good fire attack. But you got some work to do." Natsu complimented Charmander before pounding his chest. "I can use fire magic too, so if you come with me, I can help you make that fire even stronger! What do you say?"

"(Stronger)?" As far as Charmander was concerned, he wanted to be the strongest Pokemon around, though he hadn't found any Trainers who proved to help with this. Not only did Natsu have a strong aura about him, but the fact he took an Ember to the face was even more impressive.

A big smile grew on Charmander's face before he gave a happy nod to Natsu.

"AWESOME!" Natsu reached out and picked up Charmander, lifting him in the air. "We're gonna be the best team ever!" He then made his way back to his chair, all while bouncing his new partner like a baby, much to his joy.

"Hmmm…" Gray was examining the Water Types, along with Juvia. Some of them impressed him while some didn't. And since there weren't any Ice Types to choose from, his options were limited.

"(Hey! Hey)!" Gray turned his head as he saw Totodile continue to dance, hopping on one foot. "(Check this out)!" Totodile backflipped and used one of his claws to balance his body, showing off his strength and agility.

"Darling, it seems Totodile wants you." Juvia told her love with a giggle.

"Is that right?" Gray asked before he went up to Totodile, a smile on his face. "So little guy, you wanna come with me?"

Totodile got back on his feet and stared at Gray with a rather unreadable expression, much to the ice mage's surprise. From what little he had seen, Totodile seemed like a very happy Pokemon, so seeing him with no emotion was really-

*Chomp*

"AAAHHHHH!" Without warning, Totodile jumped and used his big jaw to bite the top of Gray's head.

"(GOTCHA)!" Totodile yelled with a laugh as he began to nibble on Gray's head. It seemed that blank expression was a facade to trick Gray into leaning in so Totodile could bite him. The ice mage panicked as he tried to pull Totodile off.

"Oh dear. I was afraid this might happen." Professor Rowan sighed deeply as he went over to Gray, putting his hands on Totodile. He then began to rub the back of Totodile's head and the bottom of his chin simultaneously. As he kept rubbing, Totodile's expression began to relax before he released Gray's head, falling back into Rowan's arms. "I apologize, mister Fullbuster. This particular Totodile is rather affectionate and it shows that by biting."

"No… kidding…" Gray rubbed the sides of his head, making sure there weren't any bite marks on it.

"Hahahaha! Looks like Totodile thought you were a snack, stripper!" Natsu laughed in amusement, with Charmander chuckling as well.

"That's gotta hurt. But you know, if Totodile bit you, then it must like you, Gray." Dawn told the ice mage with a smile.

"I guess so." Gray looked down at Totodile, who Professor Rowan set back on the table. "So you like me, huh?"

"(Yup, yup)!" Totodile gave an eager nod, wagging his tail. Gray's smile returned as he reached out and petted Totodile.

"Okay then. Let's go." Gray reached out and picked up Totodile, going back to his own seat.

'I know my darling will make that Totodile the strongest Pokemon around!' Juvia thought as she dreamily stared at Gray. She then looked back at the table and saw Mudkip staring at her with a curious look. "Well hello, little one."

"(Hello)." Mudkip greeted with a smile as he wagged his tail.

"My, such an energetic little Pokemon." Juvia giggled at how cute Mudkip was acting. She reached out and squished his cheeks, surprised by how soft they felt. "So squishy."

"(Hey. That tickles)." Mudkip laughed as Juvia kept squishing his cheeks before the water mage picked him up, making her way back to Gray.

"Hello, Chikorita. How are you?" Mirajane asked as she stood in front of the Johto Starter, who smiled cutely at her.

"(I'm well! You smell nice)." Chikorita replied before wagging her leaf in front of Mirajane, much to her confusion.

"What are you-" Before Mirajane could finish, a sweet scent entered her nose, making her smile. "Wow. That smells lovely."

"It should. Chikorita are known for letting out sweet smells to those they like." Kevin informed her with a knowing smile. "Looks like someone wants to go with you, Mira."

"Now is that true, Chikorita? Do you want to be my Pokemon?" Mirajane asked sweetly, getting an eager nod from Chikorita. Her smile growing even more, Mirajane picked up Chikorita and brought her back to her seat, rubbing the top of the Pokemon's head.

"Good for you, sis." Lisanna congratulated her sister before she turned her attention back to the table. She scanned the Fire Starters before noticing a certain Pokemon was currently taking a nap.

"(Zzzzzz)..." Cyndaquil snored peacefully, lying on his belly while a small snot bubble blew in and out of his nose.

"Wow. It looks like this one's asleep." Happy pointed out with a head tilt.

"Again, do forgive me. This Cyndaquil is rather docile in nature and seems to prefer naps and eating above all else." Professor Rowan told Lisanna, who shook her head.

"That's okay, professor. I think it's really cute. In fact…" Making her decision, Lisanna leaned in and gently nudged Cyndaquil. "Hey, Cyndaquil~. Time to wake up."

The snot bubble popped as Cyndaquil began to wake up, letting out a yawn. "(Did I fall asleep again)?" Cyndaquil asked innocently as he looked up, only to see Lisanna smiling down at him.

"Hi there. Sorry to wake you up." Lisanna said to the Pokemon. "My name's Lisanna and I'm gonna be a Pokemon Trainer. I wanted to ask if you wanted to be my partner. I promise I'll take good care of you."

Cyndaquil didn't know what it was about Lisanna, but he genuinely believed in her words. Not only that, but she seemed to be a very nice human, something he appreciated greatly.

A smile grew on Cyndaquil's face as he gave Lisanna a nod, much to her joy. "You won't regret it, Cyndaquil! I promise!" Lisanna reached out and picked up Cyndaquil, rubbing his back.

"Ummm… you might not wanna have Cyndaquil's back facing you." Dawn warned Lisanna, much to her confusion.

"Why? What will ha-"

"(ACHOO)!" Cyndaquil suddenly let out a sneeze, unconsciously flaring up his back… which ended up blasting Lisanna in the face. Once the flames died down, Lisanna's face was revealed to be covered in soot and her white hair had gotten a bit puffy. "(Bless me)..."

"Are you okay, Lisanna?" Lucy asked in concern.

"Y-Yeah. I'm fine." Lisanna answered before coughing out some smoke. Despite being burned, Lisanna lifted Cyndaquil up to her face and smiled. "That was pretty strong, little guy. I bet we can do a lot with that."

"(You're not mad)?" Cyndaquil asked with a genuine squeak. Normally, when he accidentally blasted someone in the face with his flames, they would be mad. But Lisanna took it rather well and even seemed amused by this. Maybe this wouldn't be a bad partnership.

As Lisanna went back to her seat with Cyndaquil, the rest of the Fairy Tail wizards were still trying to choose their own Starters.

"Let's see… Torchic or Chimchar… who should I choose?" Romeo muttered to himself as he stared at the remaining Fire Starters. While he could have simply chosen from the Water of Grass Starters, he just felt like Fire fit him a lot more. Deciding to test his luck, Romeo closed his eyes and opened his arms, waiting to see which of them would choose him.

Soon, Romeo felt something jump into his arms, prompting him to open his eyes and see Chimchar looking up to him with a big smile.

"(Hi)!" Chimchar greeted innocently.

"So you wanna come with me, Chimchar?" Romeo asked the Sinnoh Starter, who nodded eagerly. "Well alright then. I actually did want to choose you." Happy to hear this, Chimchar freed himself from Romeo's hands before climbing up to his left shoulder.

"(Awwww)..." Torchic let out a sigh as she saw Chimchar and Romeo make their way back to their seats. While she was happy her fellow Starters found partners, she felt so left out that it made her feel useless.

"You okay, little guy?" Torchic looked up and saw Levy smiling down at her. "I guess you feel a bit down because all your friends got picked, huh?"

"(Is she a Psychic-Type)?" Torchic asked, wondering how Levy read her mind.

"If you want, we can be partners. That way, you're not lonely. Plus…" Levy tugged on her dress a bit with a knowing smile. "We're orange buddies. What do you say?" Torchic stared at Levy for a few moments before a smile grew on her face.

"(Yes! Yes! Yes)!" Torchic agreed wholeheartedly while hopping in place, getting a giggle from Levy as she picked up the last Fire Starter. "(Orange buddies)!"

"Good for ya, shrimp." Gajeel congratulated Levy, making her smile.

"Thanks. So, which Pokemon are you choosing?" Levy couldn't help but ask considering he seemed so interested in picking Charmander. But given how the only choices left were the remaining Water and Grass-Type, she was curious to see which Pokemon he'd choose.

"Perhaps you should choose one that best represents you, Gajeel." Pantherlily suggested before he looked over to the Grass Pokemon. "Perhaps Turtwig? Or maybe even Treecko?"

"Treecko…" Gajeel turned his attention to the Hoenn Grass Starter, who was still lying on his side without a care in the world. Feeling someone watching him, Treecko opened one eye and saw Gajeel hovering over him.

"(What's up? You need something)?" Trecko asked lazily, wondering why someone like Gajeel was looking at him.

"Hmmmm…" Gajeel simply hummed as he crossed his arms, his red eyes continuing to glare down at Treecko.

"(You got a problem with me)?" Standing on his feet, Treecko now glared back at Gajeel, not being the type of Pokemon to stand down from a challenge. Everyone watched as Gajeel and Treecko continued to glare at one another, daring each other to make a move.

"Professor, is this bad?" Wendy asked the professor shyly, not wanting to see a fight break out.

"Hmmmm… curious." Professor Rowan admitted while rubbing his chin. "It seems Gajeel is testing Treecko's resolve while Treecko is testing Gajeel's willpower. Most impressive."

After what seemed like an eternity, Gajeel let out a smirk.

"You got spirit, gecko. I like that." Gajeel complimented the Grass-Type, who returned his smirk.

"(For a human, you're tough)." Treecko complimented right back as Gajeel extended his right arm, allowing the gecko-like Pokemon to climb up to his shoulder.

"So, which one are you getting, Lucy" Cana asked her friend as they, along with Wendy and Erza, looked at the remaining four Pokemon.

"I don't know, really. They all look so cute." Lucy confessed with a smile, having a hard time choosing between Bulbasaur, Squirtle, Piplup and Turtwig. However, she glanced at the Kantonian Grass Starter, who stared at her curiously.

"(Greetings. I am Bulbasaur)." Bulbasaur introduced himself before extending out one of his vines, offering it to Lucy.

She giggled at his gesture before gently grabbing the vine and shaking it. "Well, aren't you a little gentleman?" Lucy commented before she used her other hand to rub Bulbasaur's head, much to his joy. "Bulbasaur, would you like to be my Pokemon? I wanna try and be a Coordinator like my friend Dawn and I think you'd be the perfect partner."

This caught Bulbasaur's attention. While he did enjoy battling sometimes, he preferred living a rather calm life. And from what he knew about Pokemon Coordinators, they loved putting on a show for all to enjoy.

'(Perhaps I should try being a Coordinator's Pokemon. It might be fun).' Bulabsaur thought before he gave Lucy a smile. "(I would love to join you)."

"You won't regret it!" Lucy smiled brightly at Bulbasaur's answer before she gently picked him up, walking back to her seat.

"Ohhhh… This is tough." Wendy admitted as she looked at the remaining three Pokemon, trying to choose which one would fit her best.

"Take your time, Wendy. Cana and I shall wait." Erza reassured Wendy with a smile, with Cana nodding in agreement.

"Like you saw with Romeo, the Pokemon can also choose the trainer. Just trust your gut." Kevin told her with a grin.

"Is that how you got Froakie?" Dawn teasingly asked him, to which he shrugged. Wendy saw Squirtle giving her a grin and thumbs up, Turtwig was standing tall and proud, and Piplup seemed to be smiling the brightest.

"(If you want a strong Pokemon, I'm your Mon)!" Piplup told her rather arrogantly while puffing his chest out.

"My, quite the prideful Pokemon, isn't it?" Carla admitted as she and the others saw Piplup acting like he was the very best, like no one ever was.

"Well… I do like penguins… and Water could be a good match for me…" After giving it a bit more thought, Wendy smiled and went over to Piplup. "So, Piplup. Do you wanna be my Pokemon?"

"(Well… you seem like a good human. And I AM pretty strong. So I guess we can be partners)." Piplup told Wendy with an 'uncaring' tone. Though internally, he was thinking something else. '(YES! I knew my tough guy act would work! And Bulbasaur said that I'd never get a trainer acting like a tough Mon)!'

Wendy smiled as she reached out and hugged Piplup like a teddy bear, making her way back to her and Carla's seat. "Piplup, this is my best friend, Carla. I hope you two can be good friends."

"Hello, Piplup." Carla greeted while offering a paw to Piplup. He stared at the paw for a few moments before taking it, giving her a handshake.

"(A talking Meowth? No, she's something else. Oh well. Wendy's friends are my friends)." Piplup commented before he and Wendy sat back down.

"So, who do you wanna get?" Cana asked Erza as they stared at Squirtle and Turtwig. She wasn't necessarily picky about which Pokemon to choose, but she was curious to see who Erza would take as a partner.

"(Hey! Hey)!" Squirtle called out, getting Cana and Erza's attention. "(Watch this)!" With a grin, Squirtle began to breakdance on the table with surprising speed, along with adding some handstands and a few hops into the mix as well.

"Wow. That Squirtle's a good dancer." Lisanna admitted with a giggle, finding the Water Starter's dance routine cute.

"(Wait for it)..." To finish off his little dance, Squirtle jumped back and landed on his shell, spinning around like a top for style points. Unfortunately, he failed to calculate how fast he would spin as he went around and around, almost hitting Turtwig in the process.

"Woah, little guy!" Before Squirtle could spin off the table, Cana reached out and caught him in her arms. She looked down and noticed Squirtle's eyes were swirls, with imaginary Torchics running around his head. "Not the best ending, huh?"

"Yes. This Squirtle appears to enjoy dancing a bit too much, even more than Totodile." Professor Rowan tiredly confessed.

"I'd give him a 7 for that." Cana said with a chuckle before she turned her attention back to Squirtle, who got over his dizziness. "Looks like you need someone to make sure you can dance right. I know a thing or two about being dizzy."

'I wonder why…' Some of the Fairy Tail mages thought with sweatdrops on their heads.

"If you want, I can help you with your dancing. But maybe don't spin on your shell like that, kay?" Cana asked while giving Squirtle a wink. The Kanto Water starter actually blushed a bit at how nice she was acting. Not to mention how pretty she was.

"(Hehehehe… yeah. I guess I can stop spinning like that… for you)." Squirtle bashfully said while rubbing the back of his head.

"Mind if I take Squirtle, Erza?" Cana looked over to the redhead, only to raise a brow as she saw Erza and Turtwig were currently in the middle of a staredown. "Erza?"

"Woah. It's just like with Gajeel and Treecko." Happy told everyone with a surprised tone. Erza looked down at Turtwig with a serious glare, something that the final Starter shot back in full force. Had it been any other Pokemon or human, they would have succumbed to Erza's fierce gaze, yet Turtwig was standing his ground.

'That's one brave turtle.' Gray thought with some newfound respect for Turtwig.

However, it didn't last long as Erza finally smiled, reaching out to pick up Turtwig, much to his joy.

"You and I shall bring hope and honor for all people and Pokemon. Wouldn't you agree, Turtwig?" Erza asked the Pokemon in her arms.

"(Your wish is my command, miss Erza)." Turtwig replied with a small bow of respect.

"Good. You've all chosen your first Pokemon." Professor Rowan said to the group before his assistants brought in another table. However, unlike the last one, this table had several Pokedexes, as well as a few supplies. "Now, as new Pokemon Trainers, you will be given the essentials." He picked up one of the Pokedexes and showed it to everyone. "Of course, you'll each be given a Sinnoh Pokedex, which has recently been updated with Pokemon from the Alola and Galar regions."

"Woah woah woah. Galar?" Kevin asked in confusion. "I never heard of Galar."

"Yes, that would make sense." Professor Rowan told his grandson. "See, like with the Alola Islands, Galar is a region that had recently opened its borders to the Crystal Empire, hence why the Pokedex required an update."

"That would make sense. After all, we encountered a Pokemon named Mareanie during our trip to Sinnoh." Erza said out loud, recalling the battle captain Nate had with the Alolan Pokemon.

"Professor, do you think Pokemon from Alola and Galar will be seen in Sinnoh?" Levy couldn't help but ask curiously.

"Hmmm… perhaps. However, as I said, Alola and Galar had only just opened their borders, so the odds of finding Pokemon native to those regions here is very slim." Professor Rowan told her before putting his hands behind his back. "However, there are still many Pokemon to be seen here in Sinnoh that have migrated from the other Regions."

"Oh yeah. You got your rodent Pokemon, regional bird Pokemon, Pokemon that live in the water, Pokemon that live in forest, mountain Pokemon, pseudo legendary Pokemon, Mythical Pokemon, legendary Pokemon, etc." Kevin listed off in a casual manner, though the last two he mentioned caught everyone's attention.

"Hang on. Pseudo legendary? Legendary? What are those?" Gajeel asked with a raised brow.

"Ahh yes. I'm sure you are all familiar with rare and powerful creatures in Fiore, correct?" Professor Rowan asked the group, to which they nodded. "Well, in the Crystal Empire, there are some Pokemon that are considered very rare and hard to come by. They are known as Legendary Pokemon, such as Rainbow Ho-Oh and Diving Lugia."

"There are a lot of stories and theories surrounding these Legendary Pokemon. And some people even travel far and wide to find them." Dawn added on. "These Legendary Pokemon are considered the strongest around and whenever someone DOES have the chance to find them, they're almost impossible to defeat. Even the Champions of each region have a hard time battling those kinds of Pokemon."

"Are there any cat Legendary Pokemon?" Happy questioned innocently, getting a chuckle from Kevin and Dawn.

"Hmmmm… I guess you could technically count Mew, one of the few Legendary Pokemon since it was described to look like a cat. Then again, very few people have gotten the chance to see Mew." Kevin answered with a mild shrug.

"But what about Pseudo Legendary Pokemon?" Gray was the next to ask.

"That is a simple term for certain Pokemon who are considered to have the power to match Legendary Pokemon." Professor Rowan informed him. "Many Pseudo Legendary Pokemon are more common, though the process of evolving them is tedious given how much experience they require."

"Are any Sando Legendaries Dragons?!" Natsu asked with excitement, having misspelled 'pseudo.'

"For sure. Most Pseudo Legendary Pokemon are Dragon-Types, but finding them is hard." Kevin explained to the Dragon Slayer.

"Damn… I'm gonna find one!" Natsu declared confidently, getting chuckles from everyone else. He then looked down to Charmander. "What do you say, little buddy? Wanna fight a Dragon Pokemon?"

"(Oh yeah. I bet I can take them)." Charmander said with full confidence. His Trainer grinned at his attitude before he glanced over to his egg, only to raise a brow.

"Hey, guys?" Natsu called out as he picked up his egg incubator, looking at his egg. "Something's up with my egg." Now curious, everyone gathered to look at Natsu's egg, noticing it glow every now and then.

"Huh. I didn't know Pokemon eggs glowed." Cana admitted with a raised brow before she and the others heard the Sinnoh natives gasp. "What is it?"

"Guys… Natsu's egg is gonna hatch!" Dawn revealed with a big smile, causing the Fairy Tail mages to widen their eyes in shock.

"Quickly. Place the incubator on the table, mister Dragneel." Professor Rowan instructed Natsu with a serious tone. Acting fast, Natsu went over to the table and placed his egg incubator on it, taking off the glass case. The egg then began to shake a bit, with the light emitting from it flashing a bit faster.

"But I don't get it. Natsu, Gray and Gajeel all got their eggs at the same time." Lucy spoke up with a confused frown as she glanced at the other two eggs, which were still sitting still in their incubators.

"Who knows? Maybe Flame Brain tried cooking it earlier." Gray offhandedly suggested.

"Well… actually…" Natsu looked up at the ceiling, recalling what he did to the egg last night.

'Flashback, one night prior'

"Awww…" Happy fell on the bed with a small thud, letting out a satisfied sigh. "Wow. These Pokemon Center beds are really soft~"

"Can't argue with you, Happy. I like it." Gray admitted as he laid on the other bed in the room he, Happy and Natsu shared, putting his egg incubator on the nightstand. "And Kevin said there's more Pokemon Centers out there, so if we start traveling, we'll be able to sleep in these from now on."

"Plus, the food is great! Man, the Crystal Empire really does have good food." Natsu leaned back on the armchair with a big smile, still remembering all the food he and the others ate in the cafeteria. "But I can't wait for tomorrow. We get our own Pokemon."

"Just make sure you choose a good one, Natsu. Cause if we battle, I'm gonna win." Gray challengingly told his rival with a smirk before he laid on his bed. "I'm gonna get some sleep. Night."

"Goodnight, Gray." Happy said as the ice mage laid on his side, quickly falling asleep. The Exceed moved up to cover himself with the blanket, ready to join Gray in slumberland. "Natsu, aren't you-hey, what are you doing?"

Happy watched as Natsu took out the glass case from the egg incubator, allowing his egg to be free.

"I'm gonna sleep with the egg." Natsu told his feline friend with a smile, taking the egg in his arms. "When you were still in your egg, me and Lisanna slept next to you so you could stay warm and hatch, so I'm gonna do the same for this one."

"But… what if you crack it?" Happy couldn't help but ask in concern. It was a valid question since compared to Exceed eggs, Pokemon eggs were considerably smaller.

"Bah, don't worry. I'll make sure it doesn't break." Natsu reassured Happy before he went over to the bed, slipping into the blanket along with the egg. He then looked down at the egg with a smile. "Don't worry, little guy. I'm gonna make sure you hatch soon."

With that, Natsu and Happy went to sleep, with the former using his natural body heat to keep his egg warm. But little did Natsu know, the egg slowly began to move due to the warmth.

'Flashback end'

"Interesting." Professor Rowan rubbed his chin, considering all that Natsu had told everyone. "If I recall, you are a fire mage, so your body heat is much higher than the average human. Given that fact, it's clear that your warmth has helped the egg's hatching process to speed up. Though normally, if a Trainer were to do what you did, they would require a Pokemon with the Flame Body ability or the Magma Armor."

"Ummmmm… what?" Natsu, being Natsu, got lost in the professor's explanation, a notable question mark hovering over his head.

"Your body was hot, so it helped the egg hatch early." Lucy bluntly explained in a way Natsu would understand.

"Ohhhhhhh…" Natsu finally understood what the professor was talking about before his grin returned to his face. "Awesome! So now I get TWO Pokemon instead of one!"

*Crack*

Everyone froze when they heard the sound of something crack entering their ears. They all looked down and saw several cracks begin to form on the egg. "It's hatching…" Happy muttered as everyone gathered around the egg, even the Starters.

"(I wonder who'll hatch from it)." Mudkip asked no one in particular.

"(No idea. But it looks like I'm gonna be a big brother)." Charmander said with a smile on his face, excited by the idea.

Just as the shell was about to break… the whole egg began to glow a bright white light, forcing everyone to shield their eyes.

"What's happening?!" Wendy asked while trying not to be blinded.

"Don't worry. It's normal for Pokemon eggs to glow really bright when they hatch." Kevin answered, covering his own eyes. Soon, the light died down, allowing everyone to lower their arms and look at the egg.

However, what came out of said egg caused them all to gasp.

The hatchling was a small, bipedal dragon-like Pokémon that is primarily grayish-blue. It has a big mouth filled with sharp teeth, no neck, and arms that start at the outer edges of its jaws. Its stomach is relatively small compared to its mouth. A red underbelly stretches from its abdomen to the bottom of its jaw. It had two horns that resemble jet or plane engines, each with a light blue stripe in the middle. It has a single light blue stripe wrapping around its back, and a short tail. On top of its head is a dorsal fin, which has a notch on it.

"Woah…" The Fairy Tail mages were completely in awe of what the new Pokemon looked like while Kevin, Dawn and even professor Rowan gasped in shock.

"Holy crap… Natsu, you lucky Ducklett." Kevin muttered, much to everyone's confusion.

"What? It's just a shark Pokemon." Gajeel questioned with a raised brow.

"You don't get it. Natsu's egg was a Gible!" Dawn exclaimed, though this only confused the mages even more. "Here. Check this out." She took out her Pokedex and scanned the newborn.

"Gible, the Land Shark Pokemon. It nests in horizontal holes warmed by geothermal heat. Foes who get too close can expect to be pounced on and bitten."

"Wow. That sounds crazy." Lisanna said with an impressed tone.

"Not only that… but Gible's a Ground AND Dragon-Type Pokemon! Plus, it's a Pseudo Legendary!" Kevin revealed loudly, making everyone widen their eyes in complete surprise.

"NO WAY! A DRAGON?!" Natsu shouted before his grin grew to the point it almost broke his face. "AH HA! I TOLD YOU GUYS MY EGG WAS A DRAGON! I TOLD YOU!" He did a mock dance while pointing to Gray and Gajeel. "IN YOUR FACE, ICE PRINCESS! METALHEAD! HA!"

"I don't believe it… he actually got a pseudo-legendary." Gray muttered in disbelief. The fact that Natsu got one, which were supposed to be really rare, was completely insane.

"Just… how… DAMNIT!" Gajeel clenched his fist tightly, jealous that Natsu's egg not only hatched early, but turned out to have a Dragon-Type in it. Treecko and Pantherlily rubbed his legs out of pity.

"Enough, mister Dragneel." Professor Rowan stopped Natsu from basking in his achievement. "While I understand this is a remarkable discovery, a Pokemon Trainer should not mock others. You must show equal respect to your opponents, as well as your friends. Do I make myself clear?"

"Ummmm… y-yes sir." Natsu stuttered, feeling very frightened by the stern glare professor Rowan was giving him. It was as if he was being scolded by Master Makarov.

"Still, congratulations, Natsu. You have a Fire-Type and a Ground/Dragon-Type. That's a pretty good way to start your journey." Kevin said to his idol with a thumbs up.

"It seems Gible is finally starting to wake up." Carla pointed out as the newborn Pokemon's eyes began to twitch a bit. Natsu took this chance to get in front of Gible while lowering down to its level.

Slowly, Gible's eyes began to open, his blurry vision suddenly growing much clearer as he began to adjust to the light. The first thing he saw was Natsu smiling at him.

"Hey there, Gible." Natsu spoke up with a kind tone. "My name's Natsu."

"I'm Happy!" Happy flew over and landed on Natsu's left shoulder, raising a paw at the Pokemon.

"(And I'm Charmander! Your big brother)!" Charmander climbed up to Natsu's right shoulder and raised his claw to greet the baby. Gible's brown eyes widened ever so slightly as he kept staring at Natsu, Happy and Charmander in wonder. Everyone else simply stood in place, wondering how Gible would react to seeing his new Trainer and brothers.

"(...)" Gible slowly began to open his mouth, ready to say his first words. Natsu, Happy and Charmander all leaned in, wondering what Gible was going to say to them.

However, what they weren't expecting… was for Gible to leap towards Natsu.

*CRUNCH*

Everyone all widened in complete shock, with Charmander and Happy in particular jaw dropping.

Gible's first action was to bite Natsu's head, giving him a small nibble.

Slowly, Natsu's smile disappeared as his eyes began to widen.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! !"

Natsu's scream echoed through all of Sandgem Town as he began to run around, trying to pull Gible off his head.

"(Num, num, num, num)." Gible kept chewing on Natsu's head with the same unreadable expression on his face, unaware of what his actions were doing.

"GET HIM OFF! GET OFF HIM! GET HIM OFF!" Natsu grabbed Gible and tried to pull himself free, much to his horror, Gible's bite was locked on tight.

"NATSU!" Happy leapt up.

"(We'll save you)!" Charmander joined in as the trio all worked to free Natsu from Gible's wrath, a cartoonish dust cloud appearing around them.

"W-Wow. This is… not what I expected." Levy was the first to speak up, trying to process what on Earthland was going on.

"I guess Gible's hungry." Mirajane added with a giggle, finding the Ground/Dragon-Type's actions adorable.

"(Maybe it isn't a good idea to laugh)." Chikorita told her Trainer with a small sweatdrop.

"Should we… help?" Romeo couldn't help but ask, feeling a bit concerned for Natsu.

"(Nah. This is too funny)." Chimchar laughed in amusement. It seemed the Chimp Pokemon was a lot more morbid than anyone thought.

*CRUNCH*

The good news was they were finally able to pull Gible off Natsu's head.

Though… the bad news…

"NATSU! YOUR BABY'S EATING ME!" Happy screamed, most of his head currently inside of Gible's mouth. To make matters worse, Gible began to nibble on his head as well, trying to get a taste of the Exceed.

"NO! BAD GIBLE!" Natsu and Charmander grabbed Gible's mouth and began to pry it open, allowing Happy to be free, albeit with a lot of saliva on his head.

"FREEDOM!" Happy shouted before he fell down, breathing in as much sweet air as possible.

"Are you okay, Natsu?" Lucy asked with a sweatdrop.

"Yeah… I think… I'm fine…" Natsu panted before he lifted Gible up, looking at him with a frown. "Sheesh. What's with the biting, little guy?"

"(... Num, num)?" Gible tilted his head innocently, wondering what Natsu was talking about.

"Doesn't feel so good now, does it?" Gray teasingly asked with a smirk, getting a glare from Natsu. Totodile merely danced around, amused by what happened.

"Professor, is this natural behavior for Gible?" Erza inquired as she saw Natsu put Gible back on the table.

"Unfortunately, yes. Many Gible are known for their biting strength and some are recorded to have chewed through solid metal." Professor Rowan explained before rubbing his chin. "However, I do not believe Natsu's Gible did so out of hunger."

"How do you know?" Wendy chimed in curiously.

"Because from the way Gible was biting Natsu, it seemed to be the equivalent of a child holding their parent's finger for the first time." The professor explained.

"A lot of baby Pokemon have their own unique ways of showing affection to the first person they see." Kevin added on for his grandfather. "Since Gible saw Natsu first, it now marked him as its caretaker, so in a way… biting is the same as kissing him?"

"That's some stupid logic." Gajeel bluntly remarked, though Levy was writing down this new information on her notepad.

"So, you like me?" Natsu asked Gible, who tilted his head. As painful as Gible's biting was, Natsu still allowed himself to smile as he reached out and rubbed the newborn's head. "I guess that's okay. Just don't try eating Happy, okay?"

"(Happy)?" Gible repeated as he looked over to the blue Exceed, who quickly hid behind Lisanna out of fear.

"(That's right. No eating… whatever Happy is)." Charmander climbed onto the table and walked over to Gible, getting his attention. "(These humans and Pokemon are friends, not food)."

"(Friends… not food)?" Gible took a moment to ponder this before he nodded. "(Friends not food)."

'(Well, at least he kinda got it).' Charmander thought with a sweatdrop. He then turned to Natsu. "(We're good, Natsu)."

"Thanks, pal." Natsu gave his Starter a thumbs up before he heard the sound of something growling. Gible rubbed his belly with a frown. "Huh. Guess you're hungry. Happy, mind giving me a fish?"

"No way! Gible's gonna try to eat me if I get close!" Happy shouted, refusing to budge.

"Allow me, mister Dragneel." Professor Rowan said before his assistants came in, with several bowls of Pokemon food inside them. One was placed in front of Gible and Charmander while the rest were placed on the floor for the rest to eat. "It's time for the Pokemon to eat."

All the Pokemon quickly rushed over to the bowls of food, eating to their heart's content. Gible, confused by this, began sniffing the food in front of him before grabbing a pellet, taking an experimental lick. After finding the taste decent, he popped it into his mouth, only to widen his eyes at the flavor.

"(NUM, NUM)!" Without warning, Gible dove into his bowl of Pokemon food, eating all the pellets as fast as he could.

"At least we know Gible's got Natsu's appetite." Cana joked as everyone laughed.

"Now, let's continue our discussion." Professor Rowan got everyone's attention once again. "Now, each of you will be given a Pokedex to record any Pokemon you find during your journey. The Pokedex will not only register the Pokemon, but they are also capable of detailing their type, as well as any known moves they have. Although many Pokemon can only learn up to four moves, it is possible for them to obtain more."

"Take my Greninja for example." Kevin took out said Pokemon's Pokeball. "He knows Water Shuriken, Smack Down, Night Slash, Double Team, Extrasensory and Hydro Cannon. Pokemon are capable of learning moves of their own Type, but they can also learn moves from other Types as well."

"Your Pokedex can let you know which moves your Pokemon can know. So also check on it." Dawn added on with a wink.

"Along with your Pokedex, you will be given 10 Pokeballs, five Potions, and a Pokegear." Professor Rowan grabbed the Pokegear. "Think of them as advanced Communication Lacrima that will allow you to call anyone whose number is registered in it. Each Pokegear has been imputed with my number, so if you have any questions, feel free to call me."

"Wow. That's amazing." One by one, the mages were given a Pokegear, Pokedex and 10 Pokeballs. Lucy stared at her new devices with a smile. "The Crystal Empire's amazing."

"Not only can you call people, but the Pokegear has a map function, which will tell you where you are and where you need to go. Thank you, Johto." Kevin chimed in with a grin.

"You all have the tools necessary for your Pokemon journey." Professor Rowan stared at each of the mages with a serious expression, making some flinch. "Go out and record as many Pokemon as you can! Enjoy the time you spend with one another and grow to become the very best, like no one ever was!"

Each and every Fairy Tail mage smiled at the professor's words of encouragement. It seemed like underneath his strong exterior lies a man who simply wants to ensure they have the time of their lives with their Pokemon. Of course, that was evident due to how he interacted with Kevin, as well as his question about Pokemon earlier.

"RIGHT!" Everyone exclaimed in unison, now feeling even more motivated to journey through Sinnoh.

'A few minutes later'

"ALL RIGHT!" Natsu rushed out of Professor Rowan's laboratory, shouting at the top of his lungs. "LOOK OUT, SINNOH! CAUSE I'M GONNA TAKE ON THE STRONGEST TRAINERS AROUND!"

"AYE!" Happy flew next to Natsu, equally pumped.

"(I'M GONNA EVOLVE INTO THE STRONGEST FIRE-TYPE)!" Charmander joined their declaration, pointing a claw forward.

"(... I wanna bite something)." Gible simply walked next to the trio, his mind going off somewhere else.

"YEAH!"

*Smack*

Natsu was unable to continue as Erza smacked him hard on the top, causing him to crash on the ground.

"Honestly. Must you scream so loud? You're going to scare everyone." Erza scolded while staring down at Natsu, who groaned in pain.

"(I agree with Miss Erza. No yelling)." Turtwig added while standing proudly next to his new Trainer.

"Ayeeeee…" Natsu muttered, a big bump on the back of his head.

"Well, I can't really blame him. We are starting out as Pokemon Trainers." Lucy spoke up with a nervous chuckle before she looked down at Bulbasaur. "Ready to go, Bulbasaur?"

"(Ready as always, Lucy)." Bulbasaur agreed with a nod.

"You might wanna stay in line, Natsu. I'm gonna be the strongest." Gray challengingly told his rival with his hands in his pockets.

"Oh yeah?" Natsu got back on his feet while glaring at Gray. "How are you gonna get anywhere if your clothes keep disappearing?"

"My clothes?" Gray raised a brow and looked down… only to find his pants were gone. "REALLY?!"

"(Gray! Gray)!" Totodile called out, wearing Gray's pants on his head like a hat. "(Look! I have a new hat)!"

"Thanks, pal." Gray reached out to grab his pants, only for Totodile to hop away. "Come on. Give me back my pants!" Like before, Totodile hopped away while giggling. "Damnit, Totodile!"

"Oh darling. It's so adorable seeing you play with your Pokemon~" Juvia muttered while swaying left and right as Gray ran after Totodile to get his pants back.

"(I don't think they should be playing like that)." Mudkip muttered with a sweatdrop.

"I wonder what kind of Pokemon we'll see. What do you think, Chimchar?" Romeo asked his Pokemon partner, who was on his shoulder.

"(I hope we make a lot of friends)!" Chimchar cheered.

"Chikorita, how was your food?" Mirajane asked her Pokemon sweetly.

"(It was really good! I hope we can eat a lot of good food)!" Chikrotia cheered.

"How's this, Cyndaquil? Make sure you don't blast me again." Lisanna teasingly told the Pokemon in her arms.

"(Okay. Sorry again)." Cyndaquil shyly told her, still feeling embarrassed by what happened earlier.

"What about you, little guy? Ready to show everyone who's the best?" Cana asked Squirtle, who was comfy in her arms.

"(You got it, Cana! Everyone's gonna see us as the King and Queen of Pokemon)!" Squirtle declared proudly.

"Piplup, we're gonna make a lot of new friends." Wendy told her Pokemon with a smile. "Are you excited?"

"(Oh yeah. Because they'll all see how amazing I am)." Piplup arrogantly declared while puffing his chest.

"(I'm a little worried for that human)." Torchic muttered while giving Piplup a blank expression.

"(Eh. I'm sure she can handle it)." Treecko shrugged nonchalantly as he leaned against Gajeel's leg.

"So, should we get going?" Levy asked everyone with a smile. However, just as they were about to respond…

"WAIT!" Everyone jumped when professor Rowan came out of the lab, towering over them much like Makarov did.

"Professor?! Did you need something?" Lucy asked, startled by his appearance.

"Sorry about my grandpa." Kevin and Dawn poked their heads from behind the professor, the former giving an apologetic expression. "He forgot to give you guys something else."

"That's correct." Professor Rowan said before he took out something from behind. They were several white discs with the letters 'TM27' on the top.

"Ummm… what are these?" Natsu asked as the professor handed each of the mages one disc(minus the Exceeds, of course).

"There's something we forgot to mention while inside. TMs." Dawn explained, getting confused looks from everyone. "TMs are short for Technical Machines and they're used to teach Pokemon new moves."

"This teaches them a move? How?" Gajeel questioned as he examined the TM on both sides.

"You must first examine if your Pokemon is capable of learning such a move. Then, all you must do is simply tap your Pokemon with the TM and they shall learn the move. This TM is TM27, which contains the move Return." Professor Rowan explained to everyone. "Return is a Normal-Type move, which is boosted depending on how strong your bond is with your Pokemon. You are able to boost your bond in battle, or by simply spending time with them."

"I see. So normally, this move would not be so powerful. But if my bond with Turtwig were to get stronger, so would Return." Erza summarized out loud, getting a nod from the professor. "Interesting…"

"Yes. TMs are rather fascinating. Many can be found in the wild while some can be purchased from stores. Of course, you can choose whether to use them or not." Professor Rowan told the group before giving them a nod. "I will send you all off with the wish that your journey will be full of excitement and wonder. Good day." With that, the professor went back to his lab.

"Professor Rowan sure doesn't sugarcoat anything." Dawn chuckled a bit before she looked at the mages in wonder. "So, how are you all gonna trouble? As one big group?"

"Honestly, none of us have really thought about it." Lucy confessed, speaking for everyone. It made sense given how just yesterday, they were just tourists. And now, they were Pokemon Trainers who could travel around Sinnoh for as long as they wanted.

"I ain't sticking around a big group. Not really my style." Gajeel spoke up, getting everyone's attention. "Me and Lily are gonna go."

"By yourselves? Are you sure?" Lisanna asked with a confused frown. Then again, it wasn't uncommon for the duo to be alone as evident from their missions.

"Well, if you're going, I'm going." Levy spoke up, much to everyone's surprise. She walked up to Gajeel and gave a smile. "Someone's gotta make sure you're on your best behavior. And I doubt only Lily could do it."

"I'm sure Gajeel won't cause trouble. Though, your company would be appreciated." Pantherlily confessed before glancing over to Gajeel. "What do you think?"

"Eh. Do what you want, shrimp. Just make sure you can keep up." Gajeel shrugged uncaringly, though he didn't DISLIKE Levy's company. Plus, who knows? Maybe it could be fun.

"Nice. Two people traveling together's normal among Trainers. After all, me and Dawny here traveled together a lot when we were young." Kevin confessed while nudging Dawn, who playfully swatted him away. "The first gym's in Oreburgh City, which is past Jubilife City, so you should head there first."

"We wish you three the best of luck. I'm sure we'll meet again." Erza told Gajeel and Levy with a nod, respecting their wishes. Levy gave Lucy, Lisanna and Mirajane a hug while Gajeel, Lily and their Pokemon just waited. Once they said their goodbyes, the pseudo team Shadow Gear left the group. "Does anyone else wish to go their separate ways?"

"Actually, me and Lisanna were thinking of going together." Mirajane spoke up.

"We wanna learn more about contests since gym battles aren't really our thing." Lisanna added honestly.

"Got room for one more?" Cana questioned with a hand on her hip. While she didn't really have too much of an interest in Contests, she did wanna see more of Sinnoh… if only to taste their alcohol. Plus, who knows? Maybe she'll find a decent enough guy to hang around with. Not seeing a problem with this, the Strauss sisters agreed before their own group bid farewell to their friends.

"Damn. Looks like we aren't gonna stick together." Gray pointed out while FINALLY getting his pants back from Totodile.

"No kidding. But still, that just means we can catch more Pokemon!" Natsu declared while pounding his fists together before he glanced over to Romeo. "What do you say, Romeo?"

"... Actually…" Romeo had a rather conflicted look on his face, much to everyone's confusion. "I was thinking of just going out… alone."

"Alone? That seems rather dangerous, don't you think?" Carla questioned like a concerned mother.

"Not really. It's like we said: normally, when kids reach the age of ten, they can start their journey. So, I get what Romeo's feeling." Kevin admitted with a hint of nostalgia.

"It's not just that." Romeo spoke up before he turned towards Natsu, giving a serious expression. "I wanna get stronger on my own. No offense, but if I just stay with you guys, I might never be able to stand on my own."

"... Hehehe. I get it." Natsu said while putting a hand on Romeo's shoulder. "How about this? If we see each other, we have a Pokemon battle. That way, you can show me how strong you are. Okay?" He then flashed his friend with a grin, showing how sincere he was being. With his own smile, Romeo gave a nod. Even their Starters seemed to be affected as they gave each other a challenging glare, more than willing to battle in the future.

"Ummmm… I was thinking of going alone too…" Everyone turned their heads to Wendy, who felt a bit shy from their looks.

"Really, Wendy? You wanna go on your own?" Lucy asked with a surprised tone.

"I've always had you or Natsu or Erza help me, and I've never been able to stand on my own. So…" Looking at her slightly shaking hand, Wendy clenched it before raising her head, giving her own determined gaze. "I wanna travel alone."

"Of course, you won't be completely alone. I will accompany her." Carla said with a knowing tone, though she was proud of Wendy being so independent.

"If that's the case, why don't the both of you travel together? That way, you two won't need to rely on Natsu and the others." Kevin suggested. Wendy and Romeo pondered that thought. While they did wanna travel alone, maybe having at least one other Trainer would be good for them. Plus, they could split up the chores if need be.

"If Wendy and Carla are okay with that, sure." Romeo finally said with a smile. Wendy returned the smile while Carla simply nodded.

"Well, I guess this is goodbye. Good luck out there." Natsu and the others gave the youngest mages their best wishes before they eventually left. "So, what about us?"

"I don't mind staying with you guys. After all, we're still team Natsu." Lucy said with a wink.

"Same. As long as we can take on the gyms, I don't mind." Gray added with a smirk.

"And anywhere my darling goes, I'll go as well!" Juvia exclaimed while hugging Gray's arm, much to his discomfort.

"Then it's settled. We shall travel together." Erza finalized with her own smile.

"Aye! We're still the strongest team in Fairy Tail!" Happy cheered before a dark cloud appeared over his head. "But Carla still left me…" This caused most of the remaining Pokemon sweatdrop, though Gible just looked confused. Erza then looked over to the Sinnoh natives. "And what of you two?"

"I'm actually heading back to Twinleaf Town." Kevin revealed while scratching the back of his head. "Haven't seen my parents in a long time, and I'm pretty sure they're gonna be pissed if I don't show up soon."

"I wanna see my mom too, so I'm gonna go to Twinleaf Town with Kevin." Dawn said before a frown grew on her face. "Sorry we can't show you around anymore. I really did wanna spend more time with you guys…"

"Don't be. You helped us a lot." Lucy waved off her concern. "Who knows? Maybe we'll see each other in a contest."

"In that case, mind lending me your Pokegears?" Kevin offered his hand. A bit confused, the five mages gave him their Pokegears, allowing him to input something before handing them back. "There. Now you can call me and Dawn in case you need advice. Just don't try calling at night cause I do like sleeping." His little joke made everyone laugh a bit. Soon, they stopped and simply stared at one another. "This is it. Your first step to becoming Pokemon Trainers." Kevin extended his right hand. "Good luck."

"We're counting on you." Dawn reached out and placed a hand on top of Kevin's. Natsu joined in, followed by Lucy, Gray, Juvia and Erza. Even Happy joined in as he sprouted his wings and flew up, placing a paw on top. The Starters and even Gible seemed to want to join, forcing the mages and Trainers to kneel down to their level.

"Next time we see each other, I wanna fight you and Greninja." Natsu told Kevin with a challenging grin, which the Trainer returned.

"Sure. But don't go crying if we win." Kevin retorted good naturedly. Pulling away from the huddle, the two groups soon went their separate ways, their goals decided.

At this moment, Fairy Tail's Pokemon journey… had begun.

FINALLY! I can finally give everyone their Pokemon and now they're going their separate ways!

Hallelujah!

Look, I know it seems like I'm being overdramatic, but when you wanna get a story going without any fillers, then you would get a little impatient.

In all seriousness, I hope everyone enjoyed how things went this chapter, especially with the first of the three Pokemon eggs hatching. Honestly, I was tempted to redo what I did in the original story and have it be a Deino, but after a talk with my editor Crossovernaru, I decided to change it to a Gible(who loves biting). As for Gray and Gajeel's eggs, I will say they'll hatch in a chapter or two, so expect to see them. And go ahead and put your predictions down for who might come out of the eggs. You can also give Pokemon suggestions for the characters, though I will only allow up to generation 6(I know 7 and 8 were brought up, but I made a promise to stick to generation 6. Sorry if that's annoying).

As you noticed, I mentioned the idea of Pokemon being able to learn more than four moves. That's because in this story, there will be Pokemon who can learn up to six, maybe even seven moves. Yes, the four move system worked for the game, but in this story and my other two Pokemon stories, I'm going to expand it since higher level Pokemon should be able to hold onto more attacks. Does this sound cheap? For sure. Am I still doing it to make the story interesting? YES.

The next chapter will definitely focus on everyone catching a Pokemon or two, so there's that. And we may get a tease at something big~
