Harry Potter looks out through the window of his dorm room before shifting to memory of him huddling alone in the cupboard suddenly a hand touched his shoulder causing him to look up and see a smiling Naruto Uzumaki holding out his hand which he took causing the darkness to vanish.

Everyone was in transfiguration class, today they were learning to turn animals into water goblets
"Mr Uzumaki it's only temporary now stop being so stubborn " McGonagall said to Naruto who she wanted to try and attempt the spell
"Hmmm, fine" Naruto said as he took out his wand and looked at Kurama who tried to run but Harry grabbed him by his tail
"Now, 1, 2, 3, Vera Verto" McGonagall said reminding him of the spell
"Sorry bud, Vera Verto" Naruto said after tapping Kurama's head 3 times with the wand
But before he could say the incantation Kurama chomped his wrist with his fangs
"Ow! Ok ok! Your such a baby!" Naruto said as he sat down
"That kitsune has a attitude Mr Uzumaki" McGonagall said as she sighed and walked away
Kurama blew a raspberry at McGonagall at this before he ran into Naruto's robes making the class laugh
"Mr. Weasley you try" McGonagall said approaching Ron who had scabbers on his desk along with his broken wand which was mended with tape
"I can't watch" Naruto muttered as he knew this would not end well
"Vera Verto" Ron said as he tapped his wand on scabbars
He got the goblet part right, but it was furry and squeaking like Scabbers with its tail moving
This got laughs from the other students
"If he could speak he would say kill me" Naruto whispered to Harry who shook his head and smiled
"That wand needs replacing Mr. Weasley" McGonngall said firmly to Ron before she walked away
Hermione held up her hand getting McGonagall's attention
"Yes, Ms. Granger?" McGonagall said nodding at her to speak
"I was wondering if you know anything about the chamber of secrets" Hermione said getting silence from the class
McGonagall was silent at first but "Well its not usually a story I would tell but seeing the recent occurrence, let's see as you all know the school was founded by the four greatest witches and wizards of the time Godric Gryffindor, Helga Hufflepuff, Rowena Ravenclaw, and Salazar Slytherin" she said
the class all nodded at this listening intently
"Now three of them worked together in harmony but one did not McGonagall said continuing the story
"Three guess who" Ron said chuckling as it was pretty obvious
Which McGonagall nodded to "Salazar wished to be more selective of the students admitted into Hogwarts"
"Yea yea he was a brain dead bigot to bad that baloney is still around eh Malfoy?" Naruto asked with a glare at Malfoy who still had his eye patch from Naruto's attack
"Hmph." Malfoy said not taking Naruto's bait
"Though before departing, legend has it that Salazar sealed away a chamber hidden inside the school of which his rightful true heir could open, and by so doing, purge the school of those… in Slytherin's view, were unfit to study magic"
"Muggleborns" Hermione said summarizing and getting a nod from McGonagall
"The school has been searched many times, but no such chamber has been found" McGonagall said
"Makes sense he was a founder probably hid it with some really tricky magic or at the very least dark magic" Naruto said as he scoffed
"What is said to be inside the chamber?" Hermione asked hoping for more information
"It is said that it is only something the heir of slytherin can control… the chamber is said to be home… to a monster" McGonagall said firmly
"I've been part of the magical talks about that subject, it has to be something reptilian at least, everyone knows Slytherin was a parseltongue, so it has to be a reptile or at least something serpent like" Naruto said
"Sound theory Mr Uzumaki now let's continue the class, lets start by trying again with your kitsune friend" McGonagall said looking at Naruto
but before Naruto could respond Kurama shot out of the bottom of Naruto's robes and ran making his way up a bookcase nearby and stopping at the top to look down on them all
"Get down here you -oi!" Naruto was saying before Kurama tossed a book at him barley missing his head getting laughs from some of the class
"Why not just use that toucan of yours, Uzumaki" Malfoy said with a chuckle at Kurama's obvious disobedience to Naruto
before another tossed book nailed him in the head making him yell out
"Unfortunately she knows to stay away from this classroom. As she's seen what happens to animals in here" Naruto said looking at up at Kurama
"Mr Uzumaki try to get control of your kitsune I don't want him tossing more books" McGonagall said as she watched Kurama toss another book at the slytherin's with its tail
"I'm trying here Kurama knock it off your making a spectacle of yourself" Naruto said as he looked up at Kurama
Kurama's response was to blow a raspberry at him shaking his head rapidly sending spit flying
"I think now he's making a spectacle of himself" Hermione said as she looked at the kitsune with disapproval
"Keep giving me that and no special treats after dinner!" Naruto said as he held up a small bag
Kurama perked up at this and jumped down from the bookshelf and ran to Naruto taking a offered treat
McGonagall sighed in relief making a mental note that Kurama was off limits to use in class from now on

Later on Hermione had made them all meet up in the library the three boys were all sitting at a table while Hermione was looking for a book
"Ah here we go Hermione said grabbing a book labeled most potent potions
"No, it'd make too much noise, it'd be found first night… ugh you never realize how many magical animals petrify until it actually happens" Naruto said looking through another of the magical animals books
"Hope you have something Hermione" Harry said as he fed Kurama a treat so he would behave since he wasn't allowed in the library and they didn't need to get in trouble
"I think I have found something that can get us into the Slytherin common room so we can question some of the students there" Hermione said as she looked through the book
"We can always ask my mom to visit she'd get us in there in no time" Naruto said looking up from his book
"Yea while announcing our presence, we need to do this stealthily" Ron said not willing to get Naruto's mom involved
which we can do with this potion" Hermione said as she showed them the page she found in the book
"Polyjuice potion?" Harry asked curiously seeing the name of the potion
"Ah good choice" Naruto said with a smirk as he had heard of this potion and always wanted to try it since it would open up more prank opportunities
"What's it do?" Ron asked Hermione curiously
"Let's you change into someone else for a limited time" Naruto said while he fed Kurama another treat
"Brilliant we can use this to turn into some of the Slytherins and question malfoy" Harry said with a smile
"Good i want to ask him if he wakes up with his hair greasy" Naruto said with a smile while Kurama snickered and Harry and Ron stifled their laughter
Hermione rolled her eyes at this as she looked at the potion recipe "This is the most complicated potion I have ever seen it will take a whole month to make" she said
"a month? but if it is malfoy he will have attacked half the Muggle borns in the school by then" Harry said keeping his voice down
"If I can find a few more clues on this thing I can at least identify the beast, then Dumbledore should be able to set up some form of defenses" Naruto said as he frowned
"You're not gonna go all obsessed and crazy like your mum are you?" Ron asked as ever since miss Norris was petrified Naruto has been obsessed with identifying the beast
"I'm not crazy my mom had me tested" Naruto said firmly as he looked over his book
"For what, magic rabies?" Harry asked with a chuckle at this
"No but I got tested for magi fleas once" Naruto said
"... Do I even want to know?" Hermione asked curiously
"…..I may have played with a bunch of crups and got covered in fleas" Naruto said with a sheepish look
This got a laugh from Ron and a confused look from Harry
"Magical puppy" Hermione said while giggling at the image of a toddler Naruto playing with Crups
"Well keep looking, if you can identify it we can try to find a weakness" Harry said nodding at Naruto who gave him a thumbs up as he went back to his book
uh guys….where is Kurama? Ron asked as he noticed Kurama was not with them
before anyone could respond they all heard a crash nearby
UZUMAKI! the voice of the librarian miss pierce was heard yelling for the whole library to hear
"And that's our que" Naruto said as he got up and ran Harry Ron and Hermione close behind him

it was a clear and sunny day and everyone was heading for the quidditch pitch for the first match of the year Gryffindor vs Slytherin
the Gryffindor team was behind by at least 50 points but they weren't giving up just yet
In the stands Ron and Hermione were watching the game with Hagrid Minato and Kushina who were visiting to watch the game
"Come on damn it! get the lead out you lions!" Kushina yelled at the team as one of the Slytherin chasers scored and goal
"This isn't fair, they all have Nimbus 2001's because of Malfoy" Ron said as the Slytherins all quickly flew in formation to start the next play
"I'm more worried about something else Ron" Minato said as he followed the flight path of the bludger
said bludger went at Harry who quickly ducked as it flew past Naruto before it quickly turned and flew past Naruto and started to focus on Harry who quickly took off flying away from the bludger
"Blimey, Harry's got himself a rogue bludger, that's been tampered with that has" Hagrid said
"I'll stop it" Ron said pointing his broken wand at it
"No! even with a proper wand it's way to risky you could hit Harry" Hermione said stopping Ron
"Yea I don't want my godson looking like a goblet" Kushina said as she watched the bludger try to catch Harry
Ron groaned at this as he should have known Naruto would tell his mom about that
Harry somewhat managed to ditch the bludger before he and Malfoy began to chase the snitch but the bludger was quickly catching back up
"First the damn train and now this… does that boy have the worst luck in hogwarts history or something" Minato said as he frowned watching this
Harry then paused as he spotted the snitch and took off after it flying past malfoy who took off after him
soon Harry flew into the rafters in the edge of the pitch with Malfoy close behind him along with the bludger
after a few moments Malfoy was seen sent flying out of the rafters along with his broom slamming into the grass after he had hit one of the rafters
"Oooh!" Minato groaned as Malfoy landed in a somewhat split
"Feh may have a good broom but it doesn't mean shit of he's mediocre to react in time" Kushina said with a scoff at this
"We should get moving Harry should be out soon" Hermione said as she and Ron moved to go down to the pitch
soon Harry was seen flying out of the rafters and soon he fell off his broom near the goal posts and landed in the sand after taking the bludger to one of his arms
He had the snitch in his good arm though which he held with a relieved smile
"Harry potter has got the snitch, Gryffindor wins!" Lee Jordan yelled from the announcer box
Harry's eyes then widened as the bludger was still going after him making him roll in the sand and spread his legs as it tried for that area
"Finite Incantatem!" Hermione yelled hitting the bludger with a spell making it blow up like a firework
"Harry you ok?" Naruto yelled as he flew down to check on him along with Ron Hermione and Hagrid
"I think I broke my arm" Harry said as he cradled his arm as more of the crowd came out to the pitch
"Don't worry I can have that fixed in just a moment" Lockhart said as he took out his wand
"No not you" Harry said as he tried to get up to move but winced in pain from his arm
"Poor boy is delusional brackium emendo!" Lockhart said as he pointed his wand at Harry's arm
Harry's arm flashed and when Lockhart moved it… it slumped like a noodle
this got groans from the group
"Ah well that can happen sometimes but on the bright side you can't fell any pain
"no but you will, you pretty boy, hack!" Kushina bellowed as the crowd made a path for her and her husband
"Bones aren't broken anymore" Lockhart said with a nervous look
"Broken, there's no bones left!" Minato said with a scowl at Lockhart
"Eh, quite flexible though" Lockhart said as he bent Harry's arm back before it sloshed back down making people groan louder
"I'll show you flexible!" Kushina yelled as she kicked Lockhart hard in the ass making him yell as he took off running with her giving chase
"Woah" Colin said as he took a picture as Kushina chased Lockhart kicking him in the ass again as she caught up with him
"I want a copy of that picture Colin" Naruto said with a smile as he watched his mother continue to chase Lockhart and kicking him in the ass when she got close
"Should we stop her?" Hermione asked Minato as hagrid picked up Harry
"Why would you want to?" Ron asked enjoying this way too much
"She's not using her wand so he should be grateful" Minato said with a shake of his head as if Lockhart got out of this with just a beating then he would be lucky
"Or that she ain't going wild on him" Hagrid said as he carried Harry out of the pitch with the others following him
"She saves that for the worst of the worst, he's just a moron not worth seeing her animals form" Naruto said with a scoff
"Please miss Kushina I did mean to- yowch! Lockhart yelled as he was again kicked in the ass by Kushina
"Save it you moron!" Kushina yelled before she took out her wand ready to really make Lockhart hurt now
"Okay miss Uzumaki that's enough" dumbledore said making his presence known to the mad Uzumaki
"Oh… one of these days I'm gonna get you!" Kushina yelled at Lockhart as he limped away
"Was that really necessary?" McGonagall asked Kushina with a raised eyebrow and a look of disapproval
"He's lucky he got off with just that miss kitty" Kushina said with a scowl as she watched Lockhart limp away before she turned to look at Dumbledore "We still on for-"
"Yes yes I got approval from the ministry to have you restart the dueling club" Dumbledore said as he nodded at Kushina
"Just no traumatizing the students" McGonagall said with a firm tone
"Aye aye miss kitty!" Kushina said as she mock saluted her as she walked away to follow the others
Dumbledore chuckled at this while McGonagall rolled her eyes at the woman's immaturity

Kushina walked into the hospital wing and saw Harry sitting in a bed with his friends watching
Kushina walked past a bed where malfoy was sitting groaning in an exaggerated way
"oh quit being a bitch you sound like you dad" Kushina said as she walked past Malfoy
"Harry's in for a rough night Madam Pomfrey can heal bones easily but growing them back…" Minato said shaking his head at his wife's antics as she walked over to them
"Something's not right, first Harry can't cross to the train station, and then this… I don't like coincidences" Kushina said with a frown
"Oh Mr. Malfoy stop making such a fuss you can go, out of my way, out of my way! Should've been brought straight to me" Madam Pomfrey said as she walked through the gathered group of students around Harry's bed "I can mend bones in a heartbeat but growing them back"
"But you'll be able to right?" Hermione asked with a worried tone
"Oooh definitely, that's Skele-gro" Naruto said looking at the drink she was pouring into a cup
"You're in for a rough night potter" Madam Pomfrey said as she gave him the cup and he drank it…
Only to spit it back out making the crowd part
"Well what did you expect, pumpkin juice?" Pomfrey said with a scoff as she took the cup to refill it
"Stay strong mate" Ron said as he patted Harry on the shoulder
"yea just think of other things, it will dull the pain" Hermione said trying to help
"I suggest your crush on-" Naruto was saying before he was cut off by Hermione nudging him in the rib with her elbow
"Wait, he has a crush? on who?" Kushina asked suspiciously
"ok you lot out he has a long night" Pomfrey said to the group who all quickly left
"So how many bruises did you leave Lockhart with?" Naruto asked his mom
"One too many" Kushina said with a smirk
"Poor Lockhart… what are you doing Naruto?" Minato said seeing Naruto take out a book
"Personal research into the magical beast art of petrification" Naruto said as he
"... Okay you do you" Kushina said as she shrugged figuring this was just him focusing on studying magical animals

Naruto yawned slightly as he left the great hall to head for the Gryffindor common room trying to find out the identity of the Beast of the Chamber of secrets
"Hopefully I can get back into the common room without getting a lecture from…" Naruto trailed off seeing a trail of small fleeing spiders leaving out a window until he gasped seeing the petrified body of Colin holding his camera
"Oh no… Colin" Naruto said as he kneeled down to his body
"Mr Uzumaki what are you doing up so late" a voice from above asked making Naruto look up and seeing it was the Gryffindor ghost nick
"Go get the professors, there's been another attack" Naruto said firmly
"Right away!" Nick said as he flew off
Naruto nodded at this as he looked around for any other clues and saw some more Spiders making their way away from the area "hmmm" he mused as he watched them scamper off
Kurama poked his head out of Naruto's cloak and sniffed the air before he growled and his fur stood on end
"Reptilian, due to Slytherin's parseltongue nature… and it terrifies spiders… this just got a whole lot more easy bud" Naruto said as he pet Kurama to calm him
Kurama twisted his head in confusion
"The more clues I get the more I narrow this down" Naruto said as he thought to himself

the next day students were all gathered in the great hall since there had been a announcement on the common room bullington boards that there would be a dueling club starting today
"Dueling, whoo!" Naruto said as he was excited to get started
"Who do you think is gonna be teaching this?" Harry asked curiously
"If it's Lockhart then we're dead" Ron said knowing that of it was him they would be better off learning themselves
"I heard that professor flitwick was quite a duelist back in the day" Hermione said
"Yeah, did you not see how many trophies Hogwarts has because of him?" Naruto said smiling as he would definitely like to learn from him
"We need this kind of stuff, especially with a monster roaming around" Harry said as the doors opened and Snape and Lockhart made there way towards the table
"and I'm out" Naruto said as he moved to leave but Hermione grabbed him by the back of his robes
"Hush at least give him a chance" Hermione said as she pulled Naruto back to them
All the students were assembled in front of a long table with a purple cloth with golden moon design.
"Gather round! Gather round! Can everybody see me, can you all here." Lockhart said checking around the students.
"Excellent, in light of the recent dark events of recent weeks. Professor Dumbledore has allowed to start this little dueling club to train you all up in case you ever need to defend yourself. As I myself have on countless occasions. For full details see my published works." Lockhart said tossing his cape towards the students as girls clamored for it Naruto rolling his eyes in annoyance
"That Lockhart's something isn't he? Awfully brave chap." A Hufflepuff student said to Harry holding out his hand. "Justin Flinn Fletchy Hufflepuff." He introduced as they shook hands
"Oh I'm..." Harry said
"Oh I know who you are. All of us do even us Muggle borns." Justin replied as they watched on
"Let introduce my assistant Professor Snape!" Lockhart said as Snape entered the room
"He has sportingly agreed to help with a little demonstration. Now don't you youngsters worry..." Lockhart said when suddenly the doors burst open carrying a strong gust of wind nearly toppling some students
"Oh...no." Naruto groaned face palming as it was his mother who entered the room
"I heard there was a dueling club going on." Kushina grinned walking onto the table. "So I thought I'd volunteer to show the class a thing or two."
"Uh..um...well your assistance is greatly appreciated but I already have a sparring partner." Lockhart said
"You don't mind me taking your place do you Severus." Kushina said with a sickly sweet tone that sent a shiver down the students backs as the head of Slytherin quickly got a good distance away from what he knew would be a slaughter.
'I faced Kushina's wrath too often not to take the chance to feel when I see it.' Snape thought recalling many of the times she had almost sent him to his grave
"You go on ahead,miss Uzumaki " Snape said with a even tone
"Looks like it'll be me and you then Professor. I'm honored to be the opponent of such a respected and skilled duelist." Kushina said with a bow hiding her dark smirk
"We're gonna need a new Defense Against The Dark Arts teacher." Naruto whispered to his friends
"You don't think she'll hurt him do you?" Hermione asked
"Hurt...no...maim possibly... humiliate most definitely." Naruto replied as Kushina readied herself
Both opponents bowed to each other taking their stances waiting their opponent to make the first move.
"Wim Gurdun Leviousa!" Kushina declared casting to he spell Lockhart held up his arms and braced himself but was surprised to find nothing happened even more so he pulled down his arms to find Kushina gone
"Defendo!" Kushina shouted causing Lockhart to look up to see her hovering above firing off a blue ball of light striking Lockhart in the forehead knocking him down.
"Now students I'm sure many of you have used this spell to levitate objects but correctly mastered it can be utilized to give the user the ability to levitate the duration is dependent entirely on the user themself." Kushina said as she lowered herself down to the ground as the students looked on.
"Ah most well played Ms. Kushina, but I must say a rather predictable tactic." Lockhart said rubbing his forehead
"Oh forgive me for that allow me to try something else." Kushina said reaching into her pocket and tossing something at Lockhart bursting impact releasing cloud of green gas upon him
"Uuuugh! That stench it's rancid!" Lockhart screamed holding his nose to block out the spell, Kushina shot froward smashing her fist into his stomach causing his eyes to widen in pain as he doubled over.
"Now I'm sure any of you would call what I just did dishonorable, unsportsmanlike, cheating. Well here's something you need to understand in a real life and death fight battle fair play doesn't matter, you have to make use of every opportunity and opening you see in battle." Kushina said to the gathered students who were all paying attention
"Your opponents won't play fair they'll take any chance they can get to win and go for the kill and you should as well." Kushina said looking over at the class speaking with great authority.
"Wow maybe your mum should be teaching this class." Ron said
"She's been offered the job but her methods are a little...crazy. like running away from chimera's wearing a meat necklace." Naruto said shivering at the type of training Kushina had described to him.
Lockhart got back to his feet shaking off his pain and the rancid smell keeping his composer while all they while fuming in rage at the utter humiliation this woman put him through.
"Expel..." Lockhart shouted when Kushina snapped her finger
"Arresto Momentum!" Kushina said causing Lockhart's mouth to come to a slowly slurred speech as he made out his spell
Kushina raised up her hand unleashing a surge of wind knocking Lockhart away knocking him on his back and his wand out of his hand.
"Wow.." Ginny gasped amazed
"Elemental magic, composed of the six ki natural elements of fire, water, earth, wind, darkness, and light. These magics can be harness in traditional spells may disarming spells and defence spells like Defendo and Expellimus are examples of light magic, Descendo a deviation of wind and fire, and so many more. But to truly harness the power or elemental magic one needs to look inside yourself." Kushina explained looking at the crowd
"Within each you is a magical attribute that you can tap into. For me it's water, wind and fire." Kushina said holding up her hand as she conjured a small glob of water which soon turned into a mini tornado which she then lit into a ball of fire leaving the class entranced.
"This type of magic is amongst one of the most difficult to master as it relies on drawing for the magic within, and while it be channeled through a wand it's strength is at it's highest when used without." Kushina said clasping her hands pulling them apart creating a small bridge of flames.
"Utilizing each of your magic affinity will also give you the ability to utilize combinations of them, for instance the combination of fire and water." Kushina held up her hand creating a cloud of mist.
"Produces steam. Water and wind together." Kushina held out her hand as a sword of ice formed from thin air.
"You have ice." Kushina said walking around the table looking at everyone. "In a classroom, a tournament, any situation you find yourself in. It's important that you are creative do not act in a matter you think would be best, sometimes being spontaneous, acting out of instinct and being unpredictable will hold great benefits for you. Take all this to heart as you move on throughout not only school but in life." Kushina said bowing to class as she jumped from the table leading many students from all four houses to break out in thunderous cheers and applause.
"Brilliant mate...she's bloody brilliant!" Fred said
"Wow Naruto I'd read about your mother's skills as an auror, but I didn't know she was so charismatic." Hermione said as she clapped
"Yeah that's my mom for ya she's a pain in the ass but she's got the skills to back it up." Naruto with pride
Snape let out a sigh of relief at least he thankful he'd stepped down, if their was one thing he didn't want it was a one of Kushina's stank bombs they had once brought Bellatrix Lestrange to the brink of death.
"Um Ms. Kushina!" A voice called out catching the red heads attention turning to see a Slytherin student addressing her
"Um...could you teach us more about elemental magics?" She asked causing many students to look at her with hopeful looks
Kushina smirked seeing the students enthusiasm. "Well I don't see why not I'll even show you how you can check and see what affinity you've got." Kushina said snapping her finger causing dozens of sheets of paper to come forming into mini figures
"These are Shikigami. We use them to check for your elemental magic." Kushina explained
"Sounds like something you see on tv" Ron muttered as he took a piece of paper
Soon everyone knew there element and now Kushina was teaching them some basic spells to defend themselves
"Alright let's have a mock match severus you pick a student and I'll pick one and we can see if any of you have been paying attention Kushina said to the group before she looked at Snape
Snape nodded and turned to look at his students and gestured to Malfoy who made his way to the table
"Hmmm usually I would choose my brat but since your eye just healed and I promised old Dumbles not to let anyone be hurt while I'm here i'll go with Harry" Kushina said as she nodded at Harry who got on the table
Harry and Malfoy stood across from each other their wands ready
"first to give up or be sent flying off the table loses and no maiming this is a spar not a real dual" Kushina said firmly with a hard tone showing she wouldn't accept any nonsense
Harry and Malfoy said nothing to this before
"Expelliarmus!" Harry yelled pointing his wand at Malfoy and shot his spell at the slytherin was sent flying to Snape who quickly helped him up and pushed him towards Harry
"Watch it malfoy don't be a mor-" Kushina said not liking the look in malfoy's eyes
"Serpent sorcia!" malfoy yelled as he shot a black boa constrictor out of his wand which started to slither its way to Harry while looking around curiously
"Is a conjured snake dangerous?" Ron asked Naruto since his figured he would know
Naruto nodded at this as conjured snakes were just as dangerous
Suddenly Harry began to slowly walk towards the snake which was looking and hissing at Justin
Harry then started to speak to the snake in what looked like a hissing language
This got silence from everyone in the great hall
the snake looked at Harry curiously as it was also surprised but looked at Harry for a moment it nodded and lowered its head as if submitting to him
"Vipera Evanesca" Snape said firing a spell at the snake making it turn into smoke
"What are you playing at?" Justin yelled in a panic at Harry
"Calm down kid Harry obviously told that snake to back off didn't you see it submit to him?" Kushina said firmly to Justin before she looked at Harry for confirmation who nodded at this
this got murmurs from all the students in the great hall
"Ok class dismissed you come with me" Kushina said as she grabbed Harry's hand and pulled him to the great hall exit
Ron, Hermione, and Naruto quickly followed after them
(Gryffindor common room)
Ron Hermione and Naruto walked into the common room and saw Harry sitting with Kushina
"You're a parsel mouth? Why didn't you tell us" Ron asked as they approached them
"I'm a what?" Harry asked confused
"Another word for Parseltongue" Naruto said simply
"Remember what Naruto said in McGonagal's class, it means you can speak to snakes" Hermione said
"Well yea I talked to one last year at the zoo, then i accidently let it loose and it slithered off " Harry said not seeing the big deal
"ha! old salazar is probably spinning in his grave knowing his gift is with a Gryffindor" Kushina said with a laugh
"It's not a common gift Harry" Hermione said firmly
"Now people are gonna think you're related to Salazar or something" Ron said sounding worried
Harry frowned at this and started to look worried
"Eh let them talk everyone saw the snake back off when you talked to it, anyone who says otherwise is ether a fool or a liar Naruto said with a scoff
"Besides if they looked further into your family, they'd find you have no linerage to Salazar… which begs to how you can be a parseltongue" Kushina said as she thought to herself
"Besides talents like this aren't inherently bad it's how you use them that matters" Naruto said firmly as he sat down in a chair
"Which raises more questions, if Harry isn't the parseltongue descendant of Salazar… then the heir is someone else in the school" Hermione said
"Someone with the skill to control Salazar's monster, whatever it is" Ron said
"Uh hello? What's this hier and monster stuff?" Kushina asked curiously
"Dumbledore didn't tell you?" Naruto asked curiously
"No." Kushina said as she shook her head
"The Chamber of Secrets has been opened, and whatever is inside has been unleashed targeting the muggle borns" Harry said explaining the situation
Kushina's eyes slightly widened at this before she scowled in annoyance and looked at Naruto "and you haven't been able to figure out what it is?" she demanded
"I've been trying, all I know is that it's a serpent and it terrifies spiders" Naruto said with a grumble
Kushina thought on this and after a moment she rolled her eyes "I told you brat you not looking up the forbidden animals would bite you in the ass"
"I skimmed them!" Naruto yelled out annoyed at his mother grilling him before he took a book out of his bag and started to look through it
"Forbidden animals?" Hermione repeated curiously
"Illegal to breed" Kushina said simply whole Naruto looked over his book
after a few moments Naruto found a page and soon he paled slightly
"I should have known…" he said as Kushina looked over his shoulder and scowled
"Kids… You have a basilisk loose in the castle" Kushina said with a firm tone
"Capable of living for thousands of years, instant death falls to any who meet this deadly serpents eye" Harry read from the book
"But… nobody is dead" Ron said finding this odd
"... Because nobody has looked it in the eye, not directly at least" Naruto said as he remembered the water around miss Norris and that Colin had his camera
"Petrification is a pretty good summary of what happens with the Basilisk's reflection" Kushina said nodding
"Spiders flee before it, that's why spiders have been running for their lives at every attack site" Naruto said pointing at the book
"But how's the basilisk been getting around, a dirty great snake someone should've seen it" Ron said
"The pipes Ron and only Harry has been hearing it in the walls" Hermione pointed out
"Pipes?! It's using the plumbing?!"Ron asked in a panic
"... Myrtle…" Kushina muttered under her breath
"Who's that?" Naruto asked curiously
"Nothing you lot are done looking into this" Kushina said firmly as she made her way to the common room exit
"Yea good luck with that" Naruto grumbled while Kurama blew a raspberry at her
"the Polyjuice potion will be ready soon don't worry soon we should have a answer" Hermione said
"You're gonna disobey an ex-auror and Naruto's mum? Ron asked with a raised eyebrow
"I already started making the potion I'm not backing out now" Hermione said firmly
Naruto chuckled at this as he didn't expect this response from Hermione of all people as most people would just listen to his mom
"Hermione, you are either very brave, or very foolish" Harry said as he shook his head
"I'd go with brave" Naruto said with a grin while Hermione blushed a little at the praise
