Outside the data vault at the Citadel tower on Scarif, K-2SO was standing around a control and diagnostics console as he had his scomp link out from his hand and plugged into an astromech port on the control and diagnostics console.

"This is not working, K!" Cassian, who was wearing an Imperial officer's tunic and a lieutenant commander's rank plaque over the left side of his chest, called out to the KX-series security droid as he and Jyn, who was disguising herself as an Imperial technician, was standing next to the entrance to the data vault.

"Right hand," K-2SO told him before both he and Jyn placed their hands on a scanner next to the entrance, causing the data vault to slide open.

"Satele, me and Cassian are in the data vault," Jyn said, contacting Satele as she pulled out a comlink as she and Cassian entered the data vault with the room lighting up as they saw that the room was six stories high, which consisted of three towers of stacked data banks with thousands of data-tapes within, dimming a red light as the entrance of the data vault closing behind her and Cassian.

"Excellent work, Jyn," Satele told her from the comlink, "Me, Sabine, Janus and the others are just coming up on Scarif."

Above the planet of Scarif, 45 X-wings, the Profundity, 3 Nebulon-B escort frigates, 4 Braha'tok-class gunships, 3 Hammerhead corvettes, 6 CR90-class corvettes, 12 GR-75 medium transports, 22 Y-wings, 2 U-wings, the Ghost, the Marauder and Satele's Kom'rk-class fighter, the Brental Star jumped out of Hyperspace near the planet, which was mostly water with small islands dotting the surface as a Golan M3185 space station known as a shield Gate orbiting the planet with it being activated as two Star Destroyers also orbiting the planet ahead of the rebel ships.

"This is Admiral Raddus of the Rebel Alliance," Raddus said from the Profundity's bridge as he sat in his seat on board his command ship's bridge with two gray-skinned Mon Calamari sitting down on seats behind him, while a human rebel fleet trooper stood behind one of the Mon Calamari as another human rebel fleet trooper entered the bridge, "All squadron leaders, report in."

"Admiral, this is Blue Leader standing by," Merrick said from his X-wing as he was wearing a rebel pilot's helmet over his head.

"This is Gold Leader standing by," Vandar stated from his Y-wing as he was wearing a rebel pilot's helmet over his head as well.

"This is Red Leader standing by," a man with fair skin, brown eyes and hair named Draven Dreis said from his X-wing, wearing a rebel pilot's helmet over his head as well, reporting in as well.

"This is Phoenix Leader standing by," Hera reported from the Ghost.

"This is Mando Knight standing by," Satele said from the Brental Star, "Along with my twin sister, Sabine and my boyfriend, Janus."

"This is Sergeant Hunter of Clone Force 99 standing by," Hunter reported from the Marauder as he was sitting on the modified Omicron-class attack shuttle's co-pilot's seat with Tech sitting on the pilot's seat as they piloted the ship.

"Sir, those are rebel ships along with a Mandalorian one," an Imperial officer reported to another Imperial officer on one of the two Star Destroyers as he stared out the Star Destroyer's viewport.

"Get Admiral Gorin, immediately!" the other Imperial officer ordered another Imperial officer on the Star Destroyer's bridge.

"Red, Gold and Phoenix Squadrons along with Mando Knight and Marauder, attack formations. Defend the fleet," Raddus ordered from the Profundity's bridge as the X-wings of Red, Gold and Phoenix Squadrons opened their S-foils, while the Brental Star's wings began spinning around as they along with the Marauder began to intercept the Imperial fighters, "Blue Squadron, get to the surface before they close that gate."

"Copy you, Admiral," Merrick replied from his X-wing as he and his squadron piloted their X-wings over the hull of a Nebulon-B frigate, "Blue Squadron on me!"

"Copy, Blue Leader," a man with dark skin, black hair and brown eyes named Barion Rander and code named Blue Four replied from his X-wing.

"Copy, Blue Leader," a man with light skin, black hair and mustache named Vangos Grek and code named Blue Eight said, agreeing with Blue Four from his X-wing, "We won't have long."

"Copy that, Admiral," Tech reported from the Marauder as he and Hunter piloted the Omicron-class attack shuttle as they went to defend the fleet.

"Mart do the same as I do," Hera ordered Mart from the Ghost's cockpit.

"Got it, General," Mart replied from his X-wing as he began to follow the Ghost.

The X-wings of Blue Squadron then opened their S-foils as Merrick along with the other X-wings of Blue Squadron began to fire their laser cannons upon the Shield Gate as they flew through that gate as they began to fly down towards Scarif's atmosphere.

"Close the field aperture now! Close it!" An Imperial technician ordered from inside the Shield Gate before another Imperial technician next to him slammed their hand on the dashboard in front of them, beginning the closing procedure for the Shield Gate to close.

"Come on, come on, come on!" Blue Eight muttered to himself as he flew his X-wing towards the Shield Gate as it completely closed.

"Pull up!" Blue Four ordered Blue Eight as his fellow Blue Squadron member screamed and crashed into the Shield Gate's shield, killing himself instantly just before another X-wing pilot did the same, while he and two other X-wing pilots pulled their X-wings up and flew away from the Shield Gate and joined Red, Gold and Phoenix Squadrons in the battle above Scarif as they flew across one of the two Star Destroyers.

"What happened, Blue Four?" Raddus asked Blue Four from the Profundity's bridge, "Why aren't you and a few of your squadmates with Blue Leader and the others on the planet's surface?"

"The Shield Gate closed just as me and Blue Eight neared the Shield Gate, unfortunately Blue Eight and another of my squadmates crashed into the Shield Gate's shield," Blue Four explained.

"Maybe the rest of Blue Squadron that couldn't make it through the Shield Gate and survived could help us in the space battle," Hera suggested from the Ghost's cockpit.

"I agree, Hera," Zeb said, agreeing with the Twi'lek as he sat in the Ghost's co-pilot's seat.

"Me too, General Syndulla," Kallus told the Twi'lek, agreeing with the Lasat as he sat in the Ghost's nose gun.

"As do I," Lyste said, agreeing with them from the Ghost's rear cannon on the Ghost's communications system before Chopper grunted a response.

"Yeah, that's a good idea, Hera," Satele stated, agreeing with the Twi'lek from her Kom'rk-class fighter's cockpit.

"I agree, that is a good idea," Sabine told her sister, agreeing with her as she sat next to her in the Brental Star's cockpit.

"I agree as well," Janus said, agreeing with his girlfriend, her sister, Hera, Zeb, Kallus, Lyste and Chopper as he sat in the seat behind Satele.

"Sergeant Hunter, what do you and your squad think?" Satele asked Hunter as she contacted the Marauder with the Brental Star's communications system.

"I'll go see what my squad thinks, Commander Wren," Hunter replied from the Marauder before turning to his squad, "What do you guys think?"

"Like all the others, I think it's a good idea," Tech answered.

"I say that we let them, because then we could probably defeat the Imps here," Wrecker said, agreeing with Tech.

"I also agree," Echo stated, agreeing with Tech and Wrecker.

"As do I," Omega said, agreeing with Tech, Wrecker and Echo.

"Me too," Crosshair said, agreeing with them before the former Purge Troopers nodded their heads as they also agreed with them.

"Me and my team also agree," Hunter told Satele, Hera and Raddus with the Marauder's communications system.

"What do you think, Admiral?" Satele asked Raddus with her Kom'rk-class fighter's communications system.

"I think it's a good idea," Raddus answered from the Profundity, "The rest of Blue Squadron who didn't get past the Shield Gate and survived are allowed to help Red, Gold and Phoenix Squadrons."

"Thank you for allowing us to help defend the fleet, Admiral," Blue Four told the Mon Calamari.

"No problem, Blue Four," Raddus replied from the Profundity.

"The Rebel fleet has arrived," K-2SO told Jyn and Cassian as they reentered the room outside the data vault.

"What?" Jyn said with surprise as she and Cassian looked at him.

"There's fighting on the beach. They've locked down the base," K-2SO explained, "They've closed the shield gate."

"What does that mean?" Jyn asked him as she walked up to the KX-series security droid before she turned to Cassian, "We're trapped?" Cassian nodded a response, "But what if one of the rebels over the planet rescues us?"

"That is highly unlikely," K-2SO answered, "But we could transmit the plans to the rebel fleet. We'd have to get a signal up to tell them it's coming. It's the size of the data files. That's the problem. They'll never get through. Someone has to take that shield gate down."

"Bodhi," Cassian called as he took out his comlink as he went to contact Bodhi with it, "Bodhi, can you hear me?" He then began to pace around the room with worry, "Bodhi, tell me you're out there. Bodhi?"

"I'm here," Bodhi said as he finally answered the comlink, "I was standing by. They've started fighting. The base is on lockdown."

"I know. Listen to me. The rebel fleet is up there," Cassian told him, "You've gotta tell them to blow a hole in the shield gate, so we can transmit the plans."

"Wait. I can't. I'm not hooked into the comms tower," Bodhi protested, "We're not tied in."

"It's the only way we're getting them out of here," Cassian stated, "Find a way!" He then turned to K-2SO, "Cover our backs."

Jyn went to follow Cassian back into the data vault before stopping and walking back towards K-2SO with a blaster in her hand, "You'll need this." He only looked at the blaster with confusion, "You wanted one, right?"

"Your behavior, Jyn Erso, is continually unexpected," K-2SO told her as he took the blaster from her.

"Jyn. Come on," Cassian called out to her as he appeared back in the doorway of the data vault before she followed him as they reentered the data vault.

"What's going on down there, Lieutenant?" Raddus asked one of his fellow Mon Calamari as he looked down at Scarif.

"Unknown, sir," one of the Mon Calamari answered, "We can't raise them. All rebel frequencies are blocked."

"Keep trying," Raddus ordered the Mon Calamari before turning to the rest of the rebel fleet, "Engage those Star Destroyers and let's start probing that shield!"

"Yes, Sir!" One of the Mon Calamari replied.

"We're going in," one of the X-wing rebel pilots said as they began to fly their starfighters towards the shield gate.

"Copy that, Admiral," Satele replied from Brental Star before turning to her twin sister, "Sabine, fire the laser cannons."

"Got it, Sis," Sabine said as she placed her thumbs over the triggers of the co-pilot's joystick.

"Stay with me," the same rebel pilot said as he and the other X-wings flew their starfighters across the shield gate's hull, evading laser fire from the turbolasers on top of the shield gate as they destroyed a few of them before they flew through one of the rings of the shield gate, only for one of them to be shot down and crashed into the ring before the other two X-wings flew back out of the ring as Sabine fired the Brentol Star's laser cannons at the turbolaser surrounding the hull of the shield gate as she clicked the triggers of the co-pilot's joystick, destroying a few of the turbolasers.

"Schematic bank, data tower two," K-2SO said on Cassian's comlink as Cassian and Jyn looked out the window of the data vault at the data towers.

"How do I find that?" Cassian asked the KX-series security droid.

"Searching," K-2SO said as four images of files appeared on a small monitor on a console in front of Jyn as they began to flicker between other images.

"I can locate the tape, but you'll need to use the handles for extraction," K-2SO went on from outside the data vault.

"What am I supposed to do with this?" Cassian asked himself as he grabbed the handles in between him and Jyn and began to move them as a device around one of the data towers began to rotate, "Whoa!" The device then lowered and stopped on one of the data tapes.

In the room outside the data vault, stormtroopers rushed into the room, wielding their E-11 blaster rifles through the entrance of the room as the door slid open before K-2SO clicked a button on the control and diagnostics console, causing the entrance to the data vault to close, which from inside the data vault, Jyn and Cassian noticed as they looked at the door.

"Well, finally," K-2SO said as he walked out of the control and diagnostics console.

"Wait! Stop!" One of the stormtroopers ordered the other stormtroopers as he noticed an Imperial technician dead on the floor as he aimed his blaster at the dead Imperial technician.

"The rebels, they went over there," K-2SO lied as he pointed his fingers in the opposite directions of where the stormtroopers were standing.

"K, what's going on out there?" They heard Cassian ask from the control and diagnostics console.

"There's one," K-2SO muttered, causing the stormtrooper to look at him, suspiciously, "Ah, well."

He then picked one of the stormtroopers up and kicked the stormtrooper next to the one he picked up to the floor before he threw the stormtrooper he was holding at another stormtrooper before he then picked up another stormtrooper and threw him at another stormtrooper, causing them to drop their E-11 blaster rifles as he began to walk away when a stormtrooper in a hallway in front of him suddenly shot him in the back, causing him to grab the blaster that Jyn gave him from the control and diagnostics console and fired a blaster bolt at him, killing the stormtrooper instantly as he fell to the floor.

"Come on!" Blue Four muttered as his X-wing was being chased by two TIE fighters as they fired their laser cannons upon him as he fired a hole into the bridge of the two Star Destroyers over Scarif after he destroyed one of the Star Destroyer's deflector shield generator domes before he flew his X-wing through the hole with the TIE fighters following him.

"Red Leader and Phoenix Leader, this is Gold Leader," Vandar said, contacting Red Leader and Hera with his Y-wing's communications system, "We're starting our attack run on the shield gate. Keep it tight, and watch out for those towers."

"Copy that, Gold Leader," Hera replied from the Ghost as she, Zeb, Kallus, Lyste and Mart from his X-wing watched as Vandar and his squadron flew over the shield gate, evading the turbolaser towers with one of the turbolasers shooting one of the Y-wings down before the Y-wings dropped proton bombs onto the hull of the shield gate as the turbolasers shot down two more Y-wings as they crashed down onto the shield gate's hull.

As the turbolaser towers continued to fire upon the Y-wings, squadrons of TIE fighters were deployed from one of the shield gate's hangars as they began to intercept the rebel ships.

"Looks like they're sending TIEs after us, General," Mart reported from his X-wing to Hera.

"I can see that, Mart," Hera replied, "Just fire upon them, the same goes for the rest of you, Phoenix Squadron."

"Copy, General," Mart said as he and the rest of Phoenix Squadron and the Ghost began firing upon the TIE fighters.

"Satele, Sabine, there are TIE fighters coming right at us," Janus told both his girlfriend and her sister as he saw the TIE fighters flying towards them.

"We see 'em, Janus," Sabine assured her sister's boyfriend.

"But don't worry, Jan'ika, we're on them," Satele told him as Sabine began firing the Brental Star's laser cannons at the TIE fighters, shooting a few of the Imperial starfighters down.

"More fighters," a female rebel pilot with light skin and wearing a blue colored rebel pilot's uniform reported as she saw the TIE fighter flying towards them, "Form out at six-five."

The X-wings then began to fire their laser cannons at the TIE fighters as they began to fly past one of the Nebulon-B frigates as the Marauder began firing upon the TIE fighters as well.

"Sir, enemy fighters coming in," One of the Mon Calamari on the Profundity's bridge reported to Raddus as he looked at him before the Mon Calamari admiral turned his seat back around to face his ship's viewport flew past them as they fired their laser cannons at the Mon Calamari ship.

Three X-wings of Red Squadron with Vandar piloting one of them soon flew across the shield gate as they fired proton torpedoes at the shield gate's shield before they flew away from the shield gate, evading the shield gate's turbolaser towers.

"We're having no effect on that shield," Vandar stated.

"How much more can that thing take?" The female rebel pilot of Blue Squadron asked herself.

"Stick close, Red Five," Vandar ordered one of his Red Squadron squadmates as he noticed that he was straying away from him and the rest of Red Squadron, "Where are you goin'?"

"They're all over me," Red Five, who was male with light skin, brown eyes and black hair answered as a couple of TIE fighters were following him, "I'm trying to lose them!" The TIE fighters then began to fire at Red Five's X-wing, "This is Red Five! I need help!" One of the TIE fighters fired upon Red Five's X-wing again, destroying it and killing Red Five instantly.

"'Hyperspace tracking. Navigational systems,'" Jyn said, reading the name and description of one of the files on the monitor in front of her and Cassian.

"Two screens down," K-2SO told Jyn and Cassian from the room outside the data vault as he was standing back inside of the control and diagnostics console after he dealt with the stormtroopers, "'Structural engineering.' Open that one." He then aimed the blaster that Jyn gave him at a stormtrooper then rushed into the room through the entrance, killing the stormtrooper instantly.

"Project code names: 'Stellarsphere, Mark Omega, Pax Aurora,'" Jyn said as she read the names of the files two screens down from when she read the name for the Empire's gravity well, "'War-Mantle, Cluster Prism, Blacksaber.'"

"What?" Cassian asked her as he noticed that she stopped reading the names of the Empire's projects.

"'Stardust,'" Jyn said as she realized which one of the Empire's projects had that name before she turned to him, "That's it."

"How do you know that?" Cassian asked her.

"I know because it's me," Jyn explained.

In the room outside the data vault, stormtroopers began to swarm into the room, firing their E-11 blaster rifles at K-2SO, who had taken severe damage from the stormtroopers' blaster bolts as the KX-series security droid fired Jyn's blaster back at them.

"K, we need the file for Stardust," Cassian said from the control and diagnostics console as K-2SO continued to fire Jyn's blast at the stormtroopers.

"Stardust," K-2SO muttered as he clicked a button on the control and diagnostics console.

"That's it," Jyn said as she looked up at one of the data tapes within data tower two as she saw that it was blinking green instead of red before Cassian began to rotate the device around the tower again with the handles as it ascended upwards towards the row with the data tape for project Stardust before he began to rotate it around the tower again and stopped once the device reached where the data tape was and used the handles to extract the data tape from the data tower.

The blaster fire began to be too much for K-2SO as he fell to the floor as one of the stormtroopers fired their E-11 blaster rifle at the power circuit for the data vault.

The lights inside the data vault suddenly turned off as the power turned off, causing Cassian to turn around with confusion as he called out to K-2SO, "K?"

"Climb," K-2SO ordered Cassian and Jyn as he spoke into the control and diagnostics console.

"Climb. You can still send the plans to the fleet," K-2SO told Jyn and Cassian over Cassian's comlink as they heard blaster fire from K-2SO's end of the comlink, "If they open the shield gate, you can broadcast from the tower. Locking the vault door now."

"K?" Cassain said with worry in his voice as he turned around towards the vault door and began rushing towards it, "K!"

"Goodbye!" K-2SO told Cassian as he raised his arms upwards before slamming them onto the control and diagnostic console.

"K!" Cassian yelled from the control and diagnostic console as K-2SO fell to the dorr as the vault door sealed shut as his eyes went from white to black as from the severe damage that the stormtroopers gave him, he powered down as the severe damage killed him.

Within the darkness of the data vault, Cassian and Jyn looked at each other as they knew that K-2SO had just perished and was killed by a squadron of stormtroopers before Cassian pulled out his comlink.

"Bodhi, are you there?" Cassian asked Bodhi as he contacted him with the comlink, "Did you call the fleet?"

"I can't get to the shuttle," Bodhi answered, "I can't plug in."

"You have to," Cassian told him, "They have to hit that gate. If the shield's open, we can send the plans." He then placed his comlink back inside of his Imperial disguise's tunic as he and Jyn walked towards the data vault's window.

"Step back," Jyn ordered Cassian as she pulled her blaster out and aimed it at the data vault's window before he stepped away from the window as she fired her blaster at the window, shattering the window's glass, allowing them to gain access to the data vault's data towers.

Jyn and Cassian then began to remove their Imperial disguises with Cassian removing his corellian-cut field jacket as well before they slowly began to climb into the area of the data vault with the data towers with Jyn looking down and saw how far down the room was before she jumped from the ledge she was clinging onto and grunted as she grabbed onto one of the data towers and began to climb up the tower as Cassian jumped onto the data tower as well and began to climb up the tower as well.

"I've got it!" Jyn told Cassian as she reached the row of the data tower where the plans for the Death Star were and grabbed onto it as she pulled the data tape out of the data tower.

"Careful!" Cassian warned her as she swung the data tape around, "You okay?" She then clipped the data tape onto the back side of her belt before they continued to climb up the data tower before he noticed a door above them slide open and saw Krennic and two Death Troopers, wielding E-11D blaster carbines, while Krennic held his blaster in his hand, "Jyn!" He then fired his blaster at them before they fired their blasters back at them, causing Jyn to groan as she began to lose her footing on the data tower.

Jyn then leaped onto another data tower as Cassian continued to fire his blaster at Krennic and the two Death Troopers, knocking one of the Death Troopers onto their back as they grunted in their garbled voice, while the other one fell down into the data vault as they also grunted and fell to their death before Krennic fired his blaster at Cassian, who evaded his blaster bolt.

"Keep going! Keep going!" Cassian ordered Jyn as he looked up at her before he fired a few blaster bolts at Krennic, who fired his blaster back at him, causing Cassian to scream as he lost his footing and began to fall down the data vault.

"Cassian!" Jyn called out to Cassian as she watched as he fell onto the beams supporting the data tower before he fell onto the bottom of the data vault and looked at him, fearing that he had just died before she continued to climb up the data tower with Krennic watching before walking away.

"Deflector shields down to 50%!" One of the Mon Calamari on the Profundity reported to Raddus as the TIE fighters continued to fire their laser cannons upon the ship as Raddus watched TIE fighters fly away from the Profundity, "We're sustaining heavy damage!"

"There's no turning back now!" Raddus told him as he turned around in his seat towards him, "We have to press the attack!"

An explosion then rocked the ship nearby as the TIE fighters continued to fire upon the MC75 Mon Calamari Star Cruiser as they flew past the Profundity.

Three Y-wings of Gold Squadron then flew towards one of the two Star Destroyers as a couple of X-wings destroyed the TIE fighters.

"Hit that opening!" Vandar ordered his squadmates as he piloted one of the Y-wings.

"We see it, Gold Leader," one of Vandar's squadmates, Gold Nine, who was female with tan skin and dark eyes replied, "Ion torpedoes away!"

The three Y-wings then fired Ion torpedoes at the Star Destroyer, causing it's power to shut down as electricity went throughout the hull of the Imperial ship as the Y-wings flew away from the Star Destroyer.

"What's happening?" The Star Destroyer's Imperial Commander demanded as he noticed that his ship's power had been shut off and that they were dead in space.

"We've lost engine power, sir," one of the Imperial officers within the Star Destroyer's crew pits answered as the ship's alarms began going off.

"That Star Destroyer's disabled," Raddus stated as he watched the Star Destroyer that Vandar and his squadron fired Ion torpedoes at.

"This is Rogue One calling any Alliance ships that can hear me," Raddus suddenly heard Bodhi on his ship's communications system, "Is there anybody out there? This is Rogue One. Come in, over!"

"This is Admiral Raddus, Rogue One. We hear you," Raddus replied as he rolled his seat over to the center of the Profundity's bridge as he looked down at Scarif from the ship's viewport underneath him and saw an X-wing firing its laser cannons at TIE fighters with two other X-wings following him.

"This is Commander Satele Wren also known as Mando Knight," Satele said from her Kom'rk-class fighter as she heard Bodhi from her ship's communications system as well, "We hear you as well. What do you have to report?"

"We have the plans. They found the Death Star plans. They have to transmit them from the communications tower," Bodhi told Raddus and Satele through their ships' communication systems, "You both have to take down the shield gate. It's the only way they're gonna get them through."

"Call up a Hammerhead Corvette," Raddus ordered one of the Mon Calamari on the Profundity as he turned around in his seat towards them, "I have an idea."

"So do I, Admiral," Satele told the Mon Calamari admiral on the Profundity's communications system.

"Explain your idea, Commander Wren," Raddus requested the Mandalorian Jedi Knight.

"I was thinking that we should use the Hammerhead Corvette, the Lightmaker, to collide with one of the Star Destroyers, forcing it to collide with another Star Destroyer before colliding with the shield gate and causing them to destroy the gate," Satele explained, shocking Sabine and Janus.

"That's the exact same idea I had, Commander Wren," Raddus told Satele with shock in his voice, "Did you have the same idea that I had?"

"I think we did, Admiral," Satele answered.

"That's a pretty good idea, you two," Sabine told her sister and Raddus.

"Yeah, I agree, that is a pretty good plan," Janus said, agreeing with his girlfriend's sister.

On board the Ghost, Hera was also shocked at Satele and Raddus' plan and smiled at the idea of using one of their Hammerhead Corvettes to destroy the shield gate.

"I love that plan as well," Hunter said, agreeing with Sabine and Janus from the Marauder as he and his squad also heard Satele and Raddus' plan, which shocked them and loved what their plan was.

"I like that idea, too," Omega told Satele and Raddus, agreeing with Hunter.

"My calculations say that your plan will most likely work," Tech said, agreeing with Hunter, Omega, Sabine and Janus.

"Stand by, Rogue One," Raddus told Bodhi with his ship's communications system, "We're on it."

Satele continued to pilot the Brental Star with Sabine firing the ship's laser cannons at TIE fighters when they suddenly felt something through the Force, causing them to gasp with shock and sadness.

"Satele, Sabine, what is it?" Janus asked his girlfriend and her sister with confusion.

"I just felt Chirrut and Bodhi become one with the Force," Sabine answered.

"I also felt them die along with Baze," Satele added, agreeing with her sister.

"Their deaths were somewhat expected and were for a noble cause to defeat the Empire," Janus told Satele and Sabine.

"Yeah, you're probably right, Jan'ika," Satele said, agreeing with her boyfriend.

"We expected that they would die trying to obtain the Death Star plans," Sabine told them, "But we never expected it to be this soon."

"Yeah, we never expected it would be this early, Sabine," Janus said, agreeing with his girlfriend's sister.

As Jyn continued to climb up the data tower and neared the data vault's ceiling, she stopped climbing as she reached the top of the data tower and looked up as she saw hatch that was opening and closing on a repeating cycle every few seconds before she grunted as she leaped up into the air and climbed up towards the hatch before it slid back open and quickly climbed through the hatch before it slid back shut.

"Corvette Five, locked on target!" The captain of the Hammerhead Corvette known as the Lightmaker, Kado Oquoné, who had light skin, blue eyes and black hair, wearing the uniform of a rebel fleet trooper said as he held onto a rail above him and within the ship's bridge as he spoke into a communicator with other rebel fleet troopers on the Hammerhead Corvette's bridge doing the same before he turned around and looked out the ship's viewport as he lowered his hand holding the communicator, "Prepare for impact."

Kado then placed both of his hands on the rail above him as the Hammerhead Corvette's pilot and co-pilot both piloted the ship towards the starboard side of one of the Star Destroyers, knocking a couple of Imperial officers on board the Star Destroyer to the floor from the impact of the Corvette colliding with the Star Destroyer's Starboard side.

"Sublight thrusters, full power!" Kado ordered both the Hammerhead Corvette's pilot and co-pilot, causing the ship's pilot to push a switch next to him downwards, causing the Hammerhead Corvette to gain more speed as it began to push the Star Destroyer towards the other Star Destroyer.

At the top of the Citadel Tower on Scarif, two TIE Strikers chased an X-wing of Blue Squadron and fired upon the X-wing as other TIE Strikers did the same nearby as Jyn, grunted as she climbed up onto the top of the Citadel Tower before she ran forward a bit as she saw an X-wing shooting a TIE Striker down as she watched the dogfight that was taking place around Scarif before she removed the data tape for Stardust from her belt as she approached the control panel for the Citadel Tower's satellite dish as she inserted it into the control panel before it sealed shut with the data tape inside it as she placed her hand on the control panel's lever and tried to pull it downwards, but it wouldn't budge.

"Reset antenna alignment," Jyn heard a computerized voice say as alarms began blaring from the control panel as the screen on the control panel showed her why the lever wouldn't budge, "Reset antenna alignment."

She then looked at a computer system on a bridge nearby as the computerized voice kept repeating itself over and over again as she pulled her blaster out of its holster and walked across the bridge and approached the computer system and pulled a switch on it backwards, causing the Citadel Tower's antenna to slowly move upwards as it began to realign itself.

"Reverse engines! Full power!" An Imperial officer with light skin, blue eyes and gray hair named Admiral Gorin ordered the Imperial officers on the Star Destroyer that still had its engines on as he noticed that the Hammerhead Corvette was pushing the disabled Star Destroyer towards his own Star Destroyer.

The Hammerhead Corvette then pushed the disabled Star Destroyer's starboard side into the other Star Destroyer, causing the Imperial officers within the section of the Star Destroyer that the disabled one collided with to flew across the room before it ripped the other Star Destroyer's bridge off as all three ships began spiraling down towards the shield gate.

"Antenna aligned," Jyn heard the computerized voice say as the Citadel Tower's satellite dish fully realigned itself, "Ready to transmit."

A TIE Striker then began flying towards Jyn and firing its laser cannons at her as she began running away from the computer system and across the bridge as she evaded the TIE Striker's laser cannons as it destroyed the computer system and caused the bridge to be tilted downwards, causing Jyn to fall off of the bridge before she grabbed onto the bridge's cable.

Jyn gasped with relief as she climbed back up onto the bridge as it began straining from the damage it took from the TIE Striker's attack as she looked at the control panel as she began limping towards it when Krennic suddenly stepped out of the shadows near the control panel, aiming his blaster pistol at Jyn, causing her to stop.

"Who are you?" Krennic asked her.

"You know who I am," she told him, causing him to look confused, "I'm Jyn Erso. Daughter of Galen and Lyra. You've lost."

"Oh, I have, have I?" Krennic retorted with disbelief in his voice.

"My father's revenge," Jyn explained, "He built a flaw in the Death Star. He put a fuse in the middle of your machine, and I've just told the entire galaxy how to light it."

"The shield is up. Your signal will never reach the rebel base," Krennic stated, "All your ships in the air will be destroyed. I lose nothing but time. You, on the other hand, die with the Rebellion."

Just as Krennic said that, he was suddenly shot in the shoulder, causing Jyn to look confused as Krennic fell on his stomach before she looked around one of the Citadel Tower's pillars and saw Cassian standing there with his blaster pistol in his hand and smiled as she saw him.

As the Hammerhead Corvette continued to push both Star Destroyers down towards the shield gate, one of the Star Destroyers tore through the hull of the shield gate as it began to disable the shield gate as Scarif's planetary shield began to deactivate.

"Their sacrifice will not be in vain," Sabine said as she watched the Hammerhead Corvette destroying the shield gate with both Star Destroyers from the Brental Star.

"You're right, Bine, their sacrifice will not be forgotten," Satele told her, agreeing with her sister.

"Yeah, I agree with you both," Janus said, agreeing with his girlfriend and her sister, "With their sacrifice, we'll be able to destroy the Death Star."

On the Marauder, Omega began saluting the crew of the Hammerhead Corvette for their sacrifice as Hunter and Tech began piloting the modified Omicron-class attack assault shuttle down towards the planet below.

Jyn soon reached the control panel again before she pulled the lever downwards as Cassian slowly walked over to her.

"Transmitting," the control panel's computerized voice announced, causing Jyn to smile as she looked at Cassian, "Transmitting."

"Hello, girls, hello Janus, it's been awhile," Satele, Sabine and Janus all heard a familiar voice say from behind them before they turned around and saw Kanan standing there, transparent and emitting a glowing blue glow, but he looked like before Maul blinded him on Malachor and was wearing Jedi robes instead of what he was wearing when he sacrificed himself for Satele, Sabine and Hera on Lothal.

"Master?" Satele and Sabine both said with shock and surprise in their voices.

"Kanan?" Janus muttered with shock and surprise in his voice as well.

"You've completed your training, haven't you, Kanan?" Satele surmised with a smile on her face.

"Indeed, Satele," Kanan confirmed, "But I came to you guys with a warning that is about to happen."

"What is it?" Sabine asked her deceased master.

"Yeah, what is it, Kanan?" Janus said, agreeing with his girlfriend's sister.

"I want to know as well," Satele told her deceased master, "What's about to happen?"

"What I came to warn you three about is that a Star Destroyer is about to come out of Hyperspace," Kanan answered.

"Do you know how long?" Janus asked him.

"A few minutes at most," he answered, "Anyway, I want to tell you something before I go, Satele."

"Okay, what is it, Kanan?" Satele asked her deceased master.

"All I wanted to say is congratulations, Satele for becoming a Jedi Knight," Kanan said with a smile.

"Thank you, master," Satele told her and Sabine's deceased master with a smile on her face as well.

"No problem, Satele," Kanan replied before he vanished back into the Netherworld of the Force.

"Let's tell Admiral Raddus about this," Satele said as she looked at her sister and boyfriend.

"I was thinking the exact same thing, Sis," Sabine told her sister.

"So did I," Janus said, agreeing with Sabine.

"I think I know who's Star Destroyer that Kanan was referring to," Satele told her sister and boyfriend.

"Who's?" Sabine asked her.

"Yeah, who's Star Destroyer is it, Teal'ika?" Janus said, agreeing with his girlfriend's sister.

"Vader's," Satele sighed as she closed her eyes for a second, "The Devastator."

"Admiral, receiving transmission from Scarif," one of the Mon Calamari on the Profundity reported to Raddus as he noticed that the plans of the Death Star from the Citadel Tower were coming through the ship's communications system as he sat back down on his seat behind the Mon Calamari admiral as Raddus looked down at Scarif through the Profundity's viewport.

Jyn smiled at Cassian as she walked over towards him as she moved away from the control panel before her facial expression changed as she looked at Krennic and grunted as she went to charge at him.

"Leave it, leave it!" Cassian ordered Jyn as he stopped her from rushing over towards, causing her to stop, "That's it. That's it. Let's go."

"Transmission received," a computerized voice said on the Profundity's communications system.

"Admiral, we have the plans!" One of the Mon Calamari announced to Raddus.

"She did it!" Raddus stated with relief in his voice.

"Admiral, there's a Star Destroyer about to come out of Hyperspace!" Satele said through the Profundity's communications system.

"How do you know this, Commander Wren?" Raddus asked the Mandalorian Jedi Knight.

"My deceased Jedi master, Kanan Jarrus, who has just finished his training to retain his consciousness just told me, my sister and boyfriend," Satele answered, "And both me and my sister sensed it as well."

"Do you know which Star Destroyer?" Raddus asked her.

"I have a suspicion, Admiral," Satele told him, "I believe it's the flagship of Vader, the Devastator."

"If it is him, we'll lose one of our most successful admirals within the Rebellion," Sabine said, agreeing with him.

"If you are to survive, you must escape," Janus told the Mon Calamari, agreeing with Sabine.

"Then what would you three have me do?" Raddus asked the three Mandalorians from the Kom'rk-class fighter's communications system.

"Hop in an escape pod and transmit the pans to another of the rebel ships," Satele answered.

"Nice plan, Sis," Sabine told her sister.

"Yeah, great idea, Satele," Janus said, agreeing with his girlfriend's sister.

"Thanks," Satele told them before contacting Hera, "General Syndulla, once you see Admiral Raddus' escape pod pick him up."

"Will do, Commander Wren," Hera replied from the Kom'rk-class fighter's communications system.

"Heading to the escape pods now," Raddus told Satele with his ship's communication's system before turning to one of the rebel fleet troopers as he stood up from his seat, "Lieutenant, once we have the plans transferred onto a disk, have your men get them onto another ship."

"Will do, Admiral," the rebel fleet trooper said as Raddus began to leave the Profundity's bridge.

"And may the Force be with you," Raddus told the rebel fleet trooper and his fellow Mon Calamari as he left the Profundity's bridge.

Raddus soon approached one of his ship's turbolifts and activated the turbolift as he pressed a button on the side of the turbolift, causing the turbolift's door to slide open before he entered the turbolift and clicked the button for the floor with the escape pods before the door slid back shut as the turbolift descended down towards the floor with the ship's escape pods.

As the turbolift reached the floor with the escape pods, Raddus rushed out of the turbolift and entered the room of his ship with escape pods before he clicked a button on the side of one of the escape pods, causing it's hatch to open as he walked into the escape pod and sat on the escape pod's seat as he closed the escape pod's hatch before he launched the escape pod from the Profundity and began piloting it away from his ship and towards the Ghost before stopping the escape pod as he typed in coordinates for the Ghost so Hera could pick him up.

"General Syndulla, this is Admiral Raddus," Raddus said from the Ghost's communications system, "Waiting for pickup."

"I see you on my scope, Admiral," Hera told the Mon Calamari as she began piloting the Ghost towards Raddus' escape pod with the escape pod docking with the VCX-100 light freighter's airlock.

"I'll go get him out of the airlock," Zeb said as he stood up from the Ghost's co-pilot's seat and exited the ship's bridge as he began heading towards the airlock to help Raddus into the VCX-100 light freighter.

"Do you think anybody's listening?" Cassian asked Jyn as they walked away from the control panel as he had his arm wrapped over Jyn's neck.

"I do," Jyn answered, "Someone's out there like Satele, Sabine and Janus."

They then slowly limped towards a turbolift nearby with Jyn pressing a button next to the turbolift, causing the turbolift's door to slide open.

"Come on," Cassian whispered to Jyn as they slowly entered the turbolift as the door slid back shut as they both stared at each other.

"Sir, we're detecting a Star Destroyer emerging from Hyperspace," One of Raddus' Mon Calamari reported from the Ghost's communications systems as he and Zeb entered the Ghost's bridge after the Lasat helped him out of the escape pod as it left the Ghost's docking port when they suddenly watched as a Star Destroyer jump out of Hyperspace, firing its turbolasers at a couple of the rebel ships, including the Profundity.

"The Devastator," Satele and Sabine both muttered under their breaths from the Brentol Star as they felt a cold presence from the Star Destroyer.

"Do either of you feel anything from that Star Destroyer?" Janus asked Satele and Sabine.

"I do, Janus," Satele answered.

"Me too," Sabine said, agreeing with her sister, "Vader's on that Star Destroyer."

On the Devastator, Vader watched intently as his Star Destroyer fired its turbolasers upon the rebel ships, destroying one of the Nebulon-B frigates as it snapped in half and crippled the Profundity's ability to jump to Hyperspace, causing it to become dead in space before he sensed a couple of familiar presences from one of the rebel ships, ones that he hadn't felt since near the end of the Clone Wars and realized that it was the ship of the Bad Batch, the Marauder as it flew towards Scarif's surface before an Imperial officer with light skin, blond hair and gray eyes named Shaef Corssin approached the Sith Lord.

"The rebel flagship is disabled, my lord, but has received transmissions from the surface and a rebel ship is flying towards Scarif," Shaef told Vader.

"The rebel ship that is flying towards the planet is insignificant and prepare a boarding party, but wait to dispatch them till Governor Tarkin arrives with the Death Star," Vader ordered the Imperial officer.

"Yes, my lord," Shaef said as Vader began to leave his Star Destroyer's bridge.

As Cassian and Jyn left the Citadel Tower with the entrance's door open, they saw a dozen or so of their fellow rebels dead on the ground as they limped out of the building when they both suddenly heard a ship approaching as they looked around before looking at the approaching ship as Cassian pulled his blaster back out from its holster and aimed his blaster at the ship.

"What's that ship doing?" Jyn asked Cassian.

"We're about to find out," Cassian answered as the ship revealed itself to be the Marauder as it rotated around as it landed a few feet from them as the modified Omicron-class attack shuttle's door slid open with Wrecker standing in the doorway.

"Come on, then, you two!" Wrecker urged Jyn and Cassian as he stepped away from the Marauder's doorway.

"Who are you?" Jyn asked the genetic defective clone.

"I'm Wrecker, a rebel like the two of you, and we're the Bad Batch," Wrecker answered.

"Why are you guys here?" Cassian asked Wrecker.

"We came to rescue the two of you," Echo said as he walked towards the doorway.

"And we suspected that the Empire were going to bring the Death Star here to wipe out the vault here on Scarif to stop the plans for the super weapon from getting to the Rebellion," Crosshair added as he stood next to Echo.

"Get in the shuttle if you two want to survive," Omega ordered Cassian and Jyn as she walked up next to Wrecker before Cassian and Jyn both shared a look for a second as Cassian placed his blaster back in its holster before they nodded as they walked up the Marauder's doorway and boarded the modified Omicron-class attack shuttle.

"Who are the rest of you?" Jyn asked the rest of the Bad Batch.

"I'm Sergeant Hunter," Hunter said, introducing himself to Cassian and Jyn as he looked at them with the corner of his eye as he was still sitting in the Marauder's co-pilot's seat.

"I'm the team's pilot, Tech," Tech told Cassian and Jyn as he looked at them with the corner of his eyes from the ship's pilot's seat.

"Even though I've already introduced myself, so I should say that I'm the team's muscle," Wrecker stated with a chuckle.

"I'm Corporal Echo," Echo said, introducing himself to Cassian and Jyn, "I may be the most regular looking clone here, but during the Clone Wars I was experimented on by the Techno Union to counter the Republic's movements during the Battle of Anaxes."

"So they turned you into a cyborg?" Jyn asked Echo.

"Yeah, pretty much," Echo confirmed.

"I'm the team's sniper," Crosshair said, introducing himself to Cassian and Jyn.

"I'm Omega, the team's advisor," Omega told Cassian and Jyn, introducing herself as she shook their hands.

"And me and the four clones next to me are former Purge Troopers," Stark stated as he looked at Cassian and Jyn, "I'm Commander Stark."

"I'm Sergeant Taser," Taser said, introducing himself to Cassian and Jyn.

"I'm Corporal Shield," Shield told Cassian and Jyn, introducing himself to them.

"And I'm Lieutenant Arrow," Arrow stated, introducing himself to them as well.

"Nice to meet you all," Cassian told the clones with a smile on his face.

"I agree, nice to meet you guys as well," Jyn said, agreeing with him before remembering what Omega said what her name was as she looked at her, "Wait, you said your name was Omega, right?"

"Yeah," Omega answered, "Why do you ask?"

"Because before we found the plans for the Death Star, we saw the names for some other Imperial projects," Jyn answered, "And a few of them were called War-Mantle, which as we all know was the replacement of clones in favor of conscripted soldiers, Stellersphere, Pax Aurora, Cluster Prism, Blacksaber and Mark Omega." Omega then widened her eyes with shock and sadness, "What's Mark Omega?"

"That's a tense subject," Hunter stated with sadness in his voice as well.

"Why?" Cassian asked him, "What is it?"

"Because it has to do with me," Omega answered with sadness and anger in her voice.

"What do you mean?" Jyn asked the female clone with worry in her voice.

"The reason is because a few months after the Republic became the Empire, a few Imperial Commandos captured her," Tech explained.

"And they took me to the planet Weyland and the mountainous facility known as Mount Tantiss," Omega added, "When I arrived there, they took me to a laboratory where I came face to face with an Imperial cloner named Dr. Royce Hemlock. He and a few other Imperial cloners went to experiment on me, which still frightens me before Hunter, Tech, Echo, Wrecker and a clone named Rex, rescued me."

"Like I said about the Death Star when I was still part of the Empire, I would've defected a lot sooner if I knew what they were going to do with you at Mount Tantiss, Omega," Crosshair told his sister with a smile.

"Yeah, I'm pretty sure, you would have, Crosshair," Wrecker said, agreeing with him.

"Thanks, Crosshair," Omega told Crosshair with a smile on her face.

"Well, me, Taser, Shield and Arrow wouldn't have been able to at the time as we were still cadets at the time," Stark stated, "And besides we're a few of the last clones that the Kaminoans created before the Empire destroyed Tipoca City as well as the other Kaminoan cities." Taser, Shield and Arrow then nodded a response, agreeing with him, "Well, if it happened a few years ago, after we had our inhibitor chips removed, we probably would have as well."

"I'm glad that they rescued you in time, Omega," Jyn told the female clone.

"Yeah, I'm glad as well," Cassian said, agreeing with Jyn,

"Enough talk of this, guys," Echo told them, "We need to leave Scarif before the Death Star arrives if we are to escape."

"Echo's got a point," Tech said, agreeing with him.

"Your father would have been proud of you, Jyn," Cassian told Jyn, causing her to smile before the Marauder took off as it began to leave the planet's surface.

"Uh, Hera, this thing says that there's a massive object emerging from Hyperspace," Zeb told Hera as he looked at the Ghost's scope before turning to her.

"Must be the Empire's super weapon," Hera surmised as the Death Star appeared on the other side of Scarif as the Marauder left the planet's surface and jumped to Hyperspace.

"I have a feeling that you're right, General Syndulla," Kallus said from the Ghost's nose gun.

"I do as well," Lyste told Hera, agreeing with Kallus from the Ghost's rear cannon.

"Sis, do you see that?" Sabine asked her sister from the co-pilot's seat of the Brental Star as like with everyone on the Ghost, she saw the Death Star on the other side of Scarif as well.

"Yeah, I do, Sabine," Satele answered, "The Death Star."

"What are we going to do?" Janus asked them.

"I have an idea," Satele answered before contacting the Ghost, "Hera, have Admiral Raddus evacuate the fleet to Hyperspace."

"Will do, Commander Wren," Hera replied from the Ghost before turning to Raddus, who was sitting in the seat behind Zeb, "Admiral?"

"On it, General Syndulla," Raddus said as he stood up from the seat behind Zeb before speaking into the Ghost's communications system, "All ships prepare for jump to Hyperspace."

On board the Death Star, Tarkin, a man with light skin, blue eyes and balding gray hair named Hurst Romdi and a couple of Imperial officers with black tunics stood inside the super weapon's viewport as the Grand Moff stared out the Death Star's viewport.

"Sir, shall I begin targeting their fleet?" Romdi asked Tarkin as he walked up to him.

"Lord Vader is already handling the fleet," Tarkin assured him, "Target the base at Scarif, single reactor ignition."

"Yes, sir," Romdi said as he walked away from the Grand Moff.

Back on top of the Citadel Tower on Scarif, Krennic began moving as he looked up at the sky and saw that the Death Star was looming over the planet's surface.

"You may fire when ready," Tarkin told the Imperial technicians on board the Death Star's viewport.

"Commence primary ignition," a computerized voice said within the Death Star as Imperial technicians began clicking buttons at the super weapon's systems for the Death Star's super laser, while a couple other Imperial technicians pulled down levers and as the super weapon's green super laser began firing, one of the two Imperial technicians cover their faces within the control system as the super laser flew past them as six green light beams formed around the Death Star's super weapon.

On the planet below, Krennic continued looking up at the sky in fear as the Death Star's light beams merged to become it's super laser as it fired at an island, thousands of miles away from the Citadel Tower, causing an explosion and eruption.

"Rogue One, may the Force be with you," Raddus said from the Ghost as he watched the Death Star fire upon Scarif before Chopper grunted a response, while Hera, Zeb, Kallus and Lyste saluted the members of Rogue One, who had perished on the planet below.

"Nu kry'adyc, shi taab'echaaj'la," Satele, Sabine and Janus all muttered to themselves in Mando'a at the same time from the Brental Star as they gave the members of Rogue One, who perished a salute as they watched the Death Star fired upon the planet as well before the Ghost, Brental Star and a few other rebel ships jumped to Hyperspace with the Kom'rk-class fighter's wings stop spinning around as Vader's Imperial shuttle flew towards the Profundity with two TIE fighters and boarding crafts as they left the Devastator.

"Hurry!" A rebel fleet trooper ordered another fleet trooper as they along with a group other rebel fleet troopers stood near a console within the Profundity's airlock as the ship was docked with the Tantive IV as the console was downloading the Death Star plans onto a disk.

"Let's go!" The other rebel fleet trooper said as the Death Star plans finished downloading onto the disk as he took it out of the console, "We gotta go, now!"

"Move! Move! Move!" One of the other rebel fleet troopers ordered as they all began running down the airlock towards the Tantive IV.

"Hurry. Let's go!" Another rebel fleet trooper said as he stood at one of the airlock's walls, while two of his fellow rebel fleet troopers stood at the door to another section of the airlock as its door slowly began to open a bit, only to become stuck,

"It's stuck!" One of the rebel fleet troopers standing at the door exclaimed as he and the other fleet trooper that were standing at the door tried to push the door open before banging his hands on the door's window, "Hey! Hey! Help!"

As the ship's alarms went off, every single rebel fleet trooper turned around and aimed their DH-17 blaster pistols at a shadowy figure at the other end of the room as they crouched and entered battle positions as they heard mechanical breathing at the other end of the room before the figure ignited a crimson red blade from a lightsaber, revealing that the figure was Vader.

"Open fire!" One of the rebel fleet troopers ordered before they all began firing their blasters at the Sith Lord as he swung his saber around, deflecting their blaster bolts with his lightsaber, redirecting a few of their blaster bolts at two of the rebel fleet troopers, killing them instantly.

"Help us!" One of the rebel fleet troopers that were on the other side of the door ordered the rebel fleet troopers on the other side with fear in his voice.

Vader continued to deflect their blaster bolts before he used his right hand to lift one of the rebel fleet troopers up towards the ceiling.

"It's jammed!" The rebel fleet trooper that was pounding on the door told a rebel fleet trooper with light skin, brown eyes and hair named Toshma Jefkin as he was standing in front of the other side of the door.

"Pull it!" Jefkin urged the rebel fleet trooper on the other side of the door as Vader slashed his saber against the body of the rebel fleet trooper that he lifted up to the ceiling with the Force.

As Vader slowly approached the rest of the rebel fleet troopers, he used the Force to redirect a blaster bolt at one of the rebel fleet troopers before he used the Force to fling their blasters behind him and slashed his saber against another rebel fleet trooper.

"Pull it!" Jefkin on the other side of the door urged the rebel fleet trooper on the other side of the door again as Vader continued to slaughter them before the Sith Lord used the Force to pick one of the rebel fleet troopers standing near the door up as he began to choke him with the Force and clenched his fist, killing him instantly as he fung the rebel fleet trooper at the wall.

"Here! Here!" The rebel fleet trooper told Jefkin as he began to hand him the Death Star plans as he looked at Vader with fear in his eyes, "Take it! Take it!"

As Jefkin took the Death Star plans, the one on the other side of the airlock was stabbed in the back with Vader's lightsaber as the door slid open before Jefkin ran through the airlock towards the Tantive IV as two rebel fleet troopers standing in the airlock fired their blasters at the Sith Lord, only for Vader to slash his saber against the three rebel fleet troopers that were still in the Profundity's airlock, killing them instantly.

"Launch!" Jefkin ordered as he and a few other rebel fleet troopers on the Tantive IV unlocked the docking clamps from the Profundity as it began to fly away from the Mon Calamari MC75 Star Cruiser with Vader watching from the Profundity as a couple of stormtroopers stood behind him before he deactivated his lightsaber as his cape began fluttering.

"Make sure you secure the airlock. And prepare the escape pods," Antilles ordered Jefkin as they walked through the Tantive IV together as the ship's alarms began blaring with a squad of rebel fleet troopers ran past them before he approached the door to the ship's bridge as the door slid open and saw Cade and Leia standing there with the Alderaanian princess having her gown's hood over her head before she and Cade turned to him as he extended him arm towards them with the Death Star plans in his hands, "Your Highness, Captain. The transmission we received." Leia then looked at the Death Star plans as she smiled at it, while Cade smiled at both his niece and the Death Star plans, "What is it they've sent us?"

"Hope," Leia answered as she turned back around to face the ship's viewport.

"One we haven't had since we freed the Lothal Sector from the Empire," Cade added, agreeing with her as she also turned back around to face the ship's viewport as the Tantive IV jumped to Hyperspace.
