Izuku got between the imposter and his mother. He didn't know anything about the situation in front of him. Who was this person and why did he look exactly like him, even down to the red shoes he was wearing?

"Well, well, isn't it something. When one of your friends is in trouble, you come running to their aid. That does seem awfully familiar. Wouldn't you agree, Izuku Midoriya?" The clever smirk never leaves the imposter's face as he speaks, his eyes fully focused on Izuku.

"Who are you?" Izuku said in as serious a tone as he could muster. This was starting to creep him out a little. The imposter not only had his face, but his voice as well.

"Yeah, you've already given away that you're not Midoriya. So, what's your deal, man?" Kirishima walks up to be next to Izuku. Jiro and Uraraka do the same.

"What's my "deal"?" The imposter suddenly drops his smile as he repeats what Kirishima said, his eye twitches in annoyance at every word.

"I am Albedo of the Galvin" his statement catches Izuku off guard.

"Galvin? Like grey matter?" Jiro mutters out loud.

"What?! But grey matter is tiny" Uraraka replies. The imposter is silent as the teenagers mutter between themselves.

"I have been human for far longer than I would have liked to have been. I require the Omnitrix to return me back to my original form" he holds out his hand as if asking for Izuku to give it to him. Izuku steps back a bit.

"You want the watch?" Izuku looks down at his wrist, the Omnitrix glowing green in the dark.

"But you have your own Omnitrix. That's how you transformed earlier" Uraraka pointed out. Izuku could see a faint glimmer of another watch under "Albedo's" jacket.

" I need the original Omnitrix. I refuse to be in this disgusting human prison anymore".

"Quick question, what do you have against humans?" Kirishima raises his hand slightly as if he were in class.

"They are disgusting apes who use any power they can get to harm each other. In this stinky human body, I have disgusting food cravings and urges to touch myself in places I deem inappropriate!"

"Whoa, Whoa! Little too much information there, dude!" Kirishima cuts in.

" Puberty didn't hit me that hard" Izuku muttered to himself out loud.

" That's not you!" His friend chimed in.

"Oh, OH! And of course..." Albedo now glared at Izuku.

"...The mumbling. Just another useless thing I have inherited from this useless form" Izuku's eyes widened. He was making this personal. Albedo's face turned into another smile. Not a nice one, a mean one.

"A human as weak as you should have never been the inheritor of the Omnitrix. I suppose I'll have to take it... " He transforms back into XLR8.

"...by force".

Izuku and the rest of the group, excluding his mother, braced themselves for a fight. This was not a run of the mill vigilante. This was their very first villain. The villain charged at him, only to have his charge blocked by the hardened arm of Kirishima.

"Kirishima!"

"I'm fine! That was hardly anything at all" Kirishima smiled brightly at his friend before focusing back on Albedo.

" Ah, a miscalculation, I forgot about quirks. Don't worry, it will not happen again" Their opponent said in rebuttal.

"Oh, it won't happen again, not if I can help it" Izuku muttered before transforming himself into Diamondhead.

" Going my route, eh? I like it!" Kirishima said, hardening his arms.

"Heh, you are as naive as you are stupid" Albedo sneered as he rushed towards them, much faster this time. This time he aimed the kick at Kirishima's stomach, send the ravenette flying to the ground. He was lying on the ground in a coughing fit. Izuku's mother and the girls rushed over to him.

"Kirishima!" There was really concern in Izuku's voice now.

"I'm...okay" The raven-haired boy shakingly lifted a thumb up into the air. Izuku sighed.

"Don't move too much. It could make it worse" His mother scolded.

'This is getting dangerous; I need to end this fast' Izuku thought to himself as he turned back to the situation at hand.

"One down, three to go" Albedo said in sadistic tone.

"I'd like to see you try. Diamondhead is one of my toughest forms. I'll match you blow for blow!"

"Diamondhead? So, you name them? Just like Tennyson" He snarled out the name. Izuku couldn't help but gasp. How did he know the previous user of the Omnitrix? He didn't have much time to think about it as Albedo charged at him again, unleashing rapid striking kicks. Izuku took every hit that came at him without flinching. The kicks didn't even register as painful to him, but he could feel them. After several minutes, Albedo stopped and backed off. Izuku couldn't understand why until he noticed his insignia was flashing red. He was out of time. Crap! With a flash of red light, he was back to his normal self.

"See, your Omnitrix fades out much faster than mine and needs a longer time to charge" He sneers before tapping his own symbol. A green light flash and he's back to looking just like Izuku.

"Let's face it, Izuku Midoriya, you will never be better than me, just like you will never be better than Katsuki Bakugo!" Izuku gasps again. How does he know about Bakugo?

"How do you know about him?" A wicked smile sets itself into Albedo's face.

"Oh, how simple minded of you. The answer is quite easy. I've been watching you. Ever since you got the Omnitrix stuck on that wrist of yours, I've been watching and waiting" Izuku could now see the eyes of a mad man staring back at him. He didn't even think his own face could contort so maliciously. He was taken aback.

"You...what?"

"It's just as I said. I know everything. I know what Katsuki Bakugo said to you, that you should kill yourself by jumping off the school building" Izuku heard his mother gasp behind him. He hadn't told her anything about it. Albedo continued.

"And I know about what your favorite hero, All Might, said to you. A quirkless loser like you could never be a hero. That is what he said, isn't it? Judging by the looks behind you, you haven't been very truthful to your friends about this either" Izuku glanced back at his friends. They all had shocked expressions. His mother did too. Izuku feel his blood suddenly boiling.

"Let's face the truth, you should probably give up hope"

Give up hope.

Give up hope!

GIVE UP HOPE!

All the horrible memories started to well up inside of him. The doctor telling him to give up hope, his mother crying, all the times he had to endure Bakugo's bullying, and what All Might said on that roof. All voices telling him to just give up, to just let go of the dream he had for so long, to stop trying to be a hero.

A hero.

What happened next happened so fast. Izuku lunged at Albedo

"I'm not letting anyone else, not you, not Bakugo, not All Might, not anybody tell me what I can and can't do anymore! I'M GOING TO BE A HERO!" Izuku punched Albedo right in the face with his left fist, the one that had the Omnitrix on it, with all his might. The Omnitrix lit up suddenly and, without warning, released an energy explosion that sent both him and his imposter flying backwards. He heard his mother scream as he hit the ground.

"Izuku!"

"Midoriya!" His friends and his mother rushed to his side

"Are you ok?" Uraraka was frantic. Why was she frantic?

"Yeah, I'm fine" he said as he sat up. He looked at the Omnitrix, it was sparking a bit but still working just fine. He noticed a glowing green design on his hand that disappeared in a few seconds. It was a question for another day. He then noticed that his doppelganger had started to get to his feet. Kirishima helped Izuku to his feet. His friends seemed to be in a more protective stance around him.

"My, I was not expecting that" Albedo looked at his own Omnitrix. It seemed normal before it turned red and, to the other's horror, began sending shockwaves through his body. The green pattern on Albedo's hand turned red and began to spread up his arm. As it did, a strange change began to happen to the other teenager. His hair became white, and his eyes became red.

" Damnit! You've...damaged this form! After... so many...years of...getting it back to...normal!"

After scrambling with it for a bit, he finally did something to make his Omnitrix let go of his wrist. He quickly kicked the thing away before collapsing to his knees. The pattern that had gotten up to his shoulder had now dissipated. He was breathing hard, waiting for the device to stop sparking. Once it did, he reached for it. He had almost picked it up before a purple disk of energy batted his hand away.

"Don't even try it, Albedo," said an unfamiliar voice behind him. Albedo glared at the teens before turning around. Izuku recognized the form immediately as another anodite, like Fuji-san. There was a man with her that looked like he was made out of metal and a petrosapien, like Diamondhead, who was holding some sort of energy pistol.

"Well, well, well. If it isn't Gwen Levin, Kevin Levin, and Tetrax. I'm surprised that fraud, Azmuth isn't here with you" he growled.

"Azmuth? As in..." Uraraka whispered.

"The writer of the book Midoriya got from Varns' shop. The one about all the alien species" Jiro reminded her. The brunette nodded.

'So, he knows Azmuth too..."

"Midoriya, you're mumbling again" Izuku blushed in embarrassment when Kirishima said that.

"Sorry" he muttered, focusing back on the events unfolding before them.

"Well, he would be, but he has better things to be doing" The man, Kevin Levin Izuku had heard, turned his hands into large spike balls.

"So, we'll be the ones taking you back to the prison that you belong" Tetrax, Izuku had heard that name before somewhere, readied his pistol. The anodite, now known as Gwen, created more magenta-colored disks.

"Oh really, is that so?" Albedo pulled a strange device from his pocket and pushed a button on it.

"Initiating teleportation"

"Get him!" Gwen yelled. She and two others rushed at the white-haired teen. Izuku broke free from his friends and rushed at Albedo. To his surprise, his friends were right behind him.

"Teleporting in 5, 4, 3, 2, 1" Before they could even touch him, the teleporter went off.

"Damn, missed him" The metal man looked around as his hands changed back to normal. Pretty soon his metal turned into normal human skin, revealing lone black hair and black eyes.

"Kevin, sweetie, not in front of the kids" The anodite reverted back to a human form. She had short orange hair and green eyes. She wore a long black jacket with fur in the hood region

"At least we know where he is now. You kids okay?" The petrosapian looked over at Izuku and his group. The metal man and the anodite also looked their way.

"We're fine" Kirishima said as he threw his arm around Izuku, a big smile on his face.

"Yeah, just some bruising in the morning" Uraraka looked over at Izuku, a slight blush on her cheeks.

"Good to hear. I'm glad you kids are safe. Especially you, Midoriya" The woman smiled at him.

"Uh, thanks, but how do you know my name?" Izuku was confused. Who were these people exactly?

"Oh, you can say we've been keeping an eye on you kids for a little while. My name is Gwen Levin, originally Gwen Tennyson. This is my lovely husband, Kevin Levin, and this is Tetrax" The two men nodded as Gwen mentioned them.

"Wait! Tennyson? As in..." Uraraka lost her train of thought.

"Ben Tennyson, the former holder of the Omnitrix?" Jiro picked up where she left off.

"Yes, I figured you would pick up on that connection. Ben was my cousin. We were very close" Gwen's smile softened.

"Yeah, and I was Ben's best friend, even though, sometimes, we tried to kill each other over the years" Kevin smirked, recalling memories of the past.

"I was also acquainted with Tennyson. Some might say we were friends" Tetrax said in a calm demeanor. Izuku didn't quite know what to say. All these people had a connection with Ben. What connection did Albedo have? Before he could ask, a bright light flashed in the center of the two groups, making everyone freeze.

"What is that?" Kirishima covered his eyes at the bright light.

"Guess he decided to show up after all" Kevin smirked again.

"Who exactly is "he"?" Jiro replied.

"Azmuth"
