Cousins?, Tests, and Talks About Adoption Chapter 9:
(A/N: I'm SO sorry I haven't posted. I actually wanted to last week since I finished 2 fridays ago but something came up! So here it is. I'm currently working on Chapter 10. Happy late St. Patti's day 🍀by 3 days if you celabrate holidays. If not that's fine too. My dad doesn't really like holidays so i'm used to it. On to the story!

The night before the nightmare's weren't as bad as normal and Nem, Ten, Shoto, and even Zashi stayed for the night.
When they were eating breakfast Shoto asked, "Who's turn is it this time?"
~"I think mine."~ Elly signs.
"Yes indeed." Tenya adds.
"Erm, if you don't mind my asking, turn for what?" Vanny asks.
"Oh, sorry! Aunt Nem is making the class do a group project and our group is taking turns hosting places to be fair."
"Ahhh~! Ok. Makes much more sense now."
"As long as drowsy perfume and loud cockatoo aren't here I'll be fine."
"Aww! Sho~! You're so mean!" Nemuri whines.
"Thank you."
"Sho, I don't think she meant that as a compliment.."
"Do I look like I care?" He says with one of the most neutral expressions ever.
"I- Sho why must you act like this you're no fun!"
"Hizashi say another word and I'll take away your boombox~!" Shota threatens then mumbles, "Shoulda done that years ago."
Hizashi pouts while Nemuri stifles a chuckle while the others look slightly confused.
"Now that that's settled are you all coming together or separately or what?"
"I don't know what the other's planning but I'll be coming with you and Elly and possibly Shoto?" Tenya says questioningly, directing the last part to said boy who only nods.
"Alright well when you all figure it out let me know."
"Of course uncle."
"I've decided that I want to add something to the project! So you guys will get extended time."
"Oh? What is it?"
"Hmmm… I think I'll wait to tell you three with the rest."
"I don't like where this is going, Kayama sensei." Shoto says.
"Don't worry hun. It could actually be more interesting than you think."
"You know this kinda frightens me as well auntie."
~"Me 3."~ Elly signs.
"You guys have no faith!" Nemuri pouts this time. And this time it's Hizashi's turn to stifle a laugh.
"You both act like children more so than actual children." Shota says.
"Rude!" They both say loudly.
"Quit screaming."
"Is it- always like this?" Vanessa whispers to Tenya and her sister.
"Sometimes. Sometimes they'll actually get along. It really all depends on mood and day." Tenya whispers back and Nessa nods.
(A/N: T.S to school when Tenya, Elly, Jiro, Midoryia, and Shoto all discuss how they're getting to Aizawa's)
"Hello Midoriya and Jiro! Uncle wanted to know whether or not you'd be coming with us as a group or separately."
"Hello Iida, Elly, and Todoroki-kun." Izuku says.
"Sup." Jiro casually comments. "I don't care either way."
"U-umm… I-I guess as a group." Izuku slightly stutters.
"Great! I'll go tell uncle." Tenya then walks to Shota.
"Ay girl, why do you look so mad?" Jiro asks.
~"I don't wanna talk about it Elly signs."~
"Ok, but know we're here if you need us."
She just nods at Jiro's words.
(A/N: T.S to when the whole class has arrived and Aizawa is trying to calm them down.)
"Alright class, settle down!"
They don't hear.
"I really don't want to use my quirk unless necessary my dry eye is so bad today"
"Get into your seats and settle down!"
Again they don't hear. So Elly rolls up to him with Tenya and Shoto watching.
~"Could I try something dad?"~
"Sure, I really don't feel like using my quirk unless I have to anyway."
"Everyone sit down! If you don't sit down on the count of three you'll regret it!"
Tenya, Shoto, and Aizawa look at each other kinda scared knowing what's gonna happen.
"1~!" She starts and The boys sit with scared looks.
"It's best if you guys sit down." Tenya says to Jiro and Midoriya.
"2~!" Elly says and Denki, Jiro, Izuku, and Uraraka are now seated.
3~!" Now most of the class but Bakugo is seated.
"Sit down Katsuki Bakugo!" Elly warns one last time.
"Why what're you gonna do about it, extra!" He yells.
Nezu is watching through his computers from the camera's in his office with some of the staff that doesn't have classes yet and says,
"I'm curious to see what she'll do~!" He says sipping his tea and Nemuri and Hizashi look petrified.
"I SAID SIT DOWN!" Elly shouts and Lily had pushed Bakugo down while making the lights flicker.
"Wh-wha-" He stutters and the whole class plus the staff watching through the camera's became petrified. Even Nezu although he won't show nor admit it.
The lights are still flickering.
"Thank you, that's quite enough Lily."
Lily does morse code in the lights saying, "..-. .. -. . -..- / -... ..- - / .. .-. .-.. .-.. / -... . / -... .- -.-. -.- / - ... - ..- -. ... .-.-.-" or "Fine, but I'll be back though." And only a few understood and deciphered that it was morse code and what it said.
"WHAT WAS THAT?!" Bakugo shouted but Elly gave him a creepy look and he put his head on his desk and scoffed.
"Th-that w-was m-manl-ly e-erm umm w-wom-manl-ly!" Kirishima stutters and she nods a thank you as she goes back to her seat.
(A/N: T.S to a few minutes before lunch.)
The class is having some free time when Shota gets a call.
*"Hello, Shota Aizawa speaking."*
*"Sho, it's just Nem."*
*"Oh, sorry Nem, I wasn't paying attention. Anyways, what do you need?"*
I was wondering if you and Elly's group for the project wanna have lunch with me, Zashi, and Nezu?"*
*"Ok 1, you know how Elly gets about crowds. And 2, was this Nezu's idea?"*
*"1, but she knows us all so she'll be more comfortable. 2, Yes and no. I had asked Zashi if he wanted to have lunch together and was talking bout you and the kiddies but Nezu suggested lunch with all of us."*
Shota sighs. *"I mean I can ask but, that doesn't mean they'll agree."*
*"Great!"*
He covers the bottom of his phone in one of his hands while holding it with the other.
"Hey problem group consisting of Elly, Tenya, Todoroki, Midoriya, and Jiro come here."
"Hai sensei!" They all say and sign. They all go up to him.
"What's up sensei?" Jiro asks.
He explains.
They all look at each other knowing that they don't really have a choice.
"W-we'll do it." Izuku says.
Aizawa grumbles and nods.
*"Nemuri you still there"*
*"Still here Sho."*
*"They've agreed"*
*"Perfect timing."* She says and right after the bell to lunch rings.
*"Yea see you in a few."* He says.
*"O-"* He hangs up on her mid sentence. "-k… Rude."
"So what'd he say?" Zashi asks.
He'll be here with the kiddies in a few.
"Perfect!" Nezu says cheerily.
After a few minutes Shota and the group show up.
"Great you're here!" Nezu states.
"Hello principal Nezu." Tenya says.
"Hello Tenya, Midoriya, Jiro, Todoroki, Elly, and Shota."
They all say hello in some way as Aizawa just grumbles at the mouse like man.
"Shota~!" Hizashi greets in his usual demeanor.
Shota cocks an eyebrow at him, not looking pleased.
"Would anyone like any tea?" Nezu offers. And all of the kids shot their hands up.
"I don't mind!" Hizashi comments.
"Ditto here." Nemuri agrees.
"And you Shota?" Nezu asks.
"Hmph." He grumbles.
"I'll take that as a yes. I'll heat up the tea!" He says hopping down from his desk.
"Y-y'know Elly I think you've t-terrified the whole class earlier…" Izuku says stubbly.
"Ah yes, and some of the staff too!" Nezu says in a creepily cheery voice.
"What do you mean by 'and the staff too'?" Jiro says doing air quotes.
"Oh we watched and listened through the camera's on my computer screen!"
"Wait! There's cameras in the classroom!?" Kyoka and Izuku shout, making Elly wince.
"Indeed future heroes! Also please be mindful of your volume." He adds as he saw the wince.
"Right, sorry!" izuku says.
"I need a nap right about now." Shota says.
"You're always sleeping, Sho."
"Sleeping is fun. And good for the body, Nemuri."
"I second that." Tenya says.
"I'll third it." Izu comments.
And they all talk about sleep and how long they normally sleep for then Izuku says,
"What about you Elly? You seem tired, how long do you sleep?"
~"You guys sleep?"~ She signs.
"What did you mean by that question hun? Do you not sleep?" Nemuri asks as concerned as the others.
~"Rarely. I know that most nights someone comes to check on me. All those times you think I'm asleep I'm not. I don't sleep so I don't have night terrors. I mostly just think to myself or I read something."~
They're all shocked.
"And I thought my sleeping habits were messed up. You need to get more sleep kid."
"Uncle is right. Without sleep we aren't able to function properly."
~"Ten, no offense but, I've been like this probably since I was like 3 or 5. I function just fine and I get good grades in all my classes."~
"Well it seems you're a big insomniac." Shota says.
Nezu sets the tray of tea in front of them.
"I think we should have you/Elly to be tested for disorders much like your sleep disorder and fears and their possible triggers." Nezu comments.
… Everyone just stares at him.
~"No thanks i'm fine."~ Elly signs worriedly.
"Little listener I know you're probably scared but it's so we know how to help you. I promise that it will be for the better."
She vigorously shakes her head until Shoto grabs it.
"You could hurt yourself or give yourself whiplash from that." Said boy speaks softly.
She glares at him.
~"I don't care. I'm not going through with it!"~
"Kid you'll have to. Plus besides the incident with Bakugo when's the last time you had a full check up?"
"I'm. NOT Going!" Elly shouts as Recovery Girl, Hound dog, and Snipe walk in.
"Not going where dearie?" Chiyo asks sweetly.
Tenya explains the situation then says, "And for some reason she doesn't seem like she likes doctors and or hospitals."
"I don't mind doing the psych evaluation since I'm already her therapist." Ryo states.
"And I won't mind doing a full check up." Chiyo adds.
~"I don't wanna do it, even if it's with Recovery Girl and Hound Dog."~
"Is there something more you're not telling us little listener?" Hizashi asks.
She doesn't say anything as she tries to hide behind Todoroki and Jiro.
"You know you can tell us, kid. We won't judge you." Hound dog says.
She laughs a bit.
~"But, that is your literal job."~
"Well true but, you know what I mean."
~"I guess it's from my past experiences, Because yes, even though I do trust RG and you I don't do so well with doctors or psychologists. When I was younger there were long periods of times where I'd be mute. And not just because of my shyness. My parents could never figure it out so they'd take me to psychologists, doctors, you name it. And I was always tested on."~
Everyone was shocked and Nezu, Shoto, Snipe and Shota's blood was starting to boil.
~"I myself didn't know why I'd do it sometimes but when I was like that I'd only talk to Vanny and Vince. Sometimes the kids I was closer with but rarely. Sometimes I would shut down all together not even would I talk to Vanny or Vince. Especially after the bigger tests. I wouldn't even sign when I learned how to since i was always so mad or upset."~
By now everyone's blood was boiling and it was hard for them not to show their anger. Even Izuku felt like he wanted to 'Detroit Smash' someone.
"Oh dearie. I'm so sorry. And even though we have to do it, we can do it at your pace."
She just nods while gripping Shoto's shirt.
He looks down and pulls her hand away and laces their fingers together giving her hand a not too tight squeeze which she does back smiling a little.
"Well now that it's settled how about we eat lunch. Would you three like to join us?" Nezu asks.
"No thank you." They all say then walk out.
After lunch the kids and Hizashi headed to his class and Nemuri went to the teacher's lounge to get some stuff while Shota hung back to speak with Nezu.
"That wasn't in her file was it?" Shota says coldly and abruptly.
"No. Her parents must have made sure it didn't." Nezu says in almost the same tone.
With the others while they're waiting for the rest of their classmates.
~"I'm kinda scared for what aunt Nem has planned…"
"What do you mean Elly..?" Izuku asks hesitantly.
"Kayma sensei says she's gonna add something to the project to make it 'more interesting'." Shoto air quotes. "She said that because of it we'll have extended time."
"I don't like where this is going." Izu says and the rest nod in agreement.
By now everybody's come in.
"Alright! Time for some English, my dear class! How is everyone!?"
Elly winces and some answer him.
"OK! Let's get started!"
After he finished explaining he pulled out a stack of worksheets.
"Iida, Yaoyorozu, could you pass these out?"
They get up, each taking half.
"So boys and girls for this you can work in groups. It shouldn't be too hard though. Once you finish, pick one person from each group to turn it in. Then you can talk quietly or play on your phones!"
"Hai sensei!" The class says unanimously.
So they all get into groups. Elly's group is the same group for the project in Nemuri's class.
Even though they're working they're also talking which distracts them and she ends up finishing way before them and she puts her head down.
"How are you already done?!" Izuku remarks.
She puts her head up and signs; ~"Well I've known English as long as I have Japanese and plus you guys are taking longer since you're chatting about different things therefore you get distracted."~ Then lays back down on her arms blocking out the light.
"I mean she ain't wrong." Jiro says.
They finish their work in two minutes and Tenya puts them all on Mic's desk.
"Thank you little listener."
Tenya nods and goes back.
Elly had shifted positions and now her head is resting on Shoto and he has his arm wrapped around her.
Some of the girls like Ochako, Mina, and Momo see this and 'awe' at it and take pics.
Shoto glares at them and says, "If you wake her up I won't hesitate to throw you out the window."
They back up.
"Hey, hey now listener you shouldn't make threats-"
"It's not a treat sensei. I will do it." He says glaring at Mic.
Mic, clearly not affected by it since he gets so many from Shota, says, "Well anyways the point is don't do it. And if you girls could kindly let the poor listener sleep that'd be nice thank you."
"Hai sensei." The 3 say then return to the respective places.
The bell rings and surprisingly Elly doesn't wake up.
"Before you all go I want to warn you, Midnight has something extra planned for your group project."
Some groan, some mumble on what it could be.
Shoto, not wanting to wake Elly, gently moves and fixes her position and takes off his jacket and uses it as a pillow for her. Then starts to wheel her to the next class with the others.
"I wonder what could be Midnight sensei's new idea could be." Izu says curious but scared.
"I just hope it's not too hard." Jiro adds.
"Well whatever it is we'll find out soon enough." Tenya comments.
After everyone is in class and seated Midnight walks in.
"Ok kiddies! You ready? So I'm sure by now that 'Mr. Loud Blond' has told you that I got a new idea I wanna add to the project."
Some nod, some murmur in agreement.
"Well I do! Now before I announce it. Shoto dear, would you wake up Elly for me."
He wakes her up.
She yawns and rubs her eyes and views her surroundings. Quickly realizing she sits up and nods to Nemuri.
"Ok so my idea for the project will of course allow extra time. But the actual idea is that I want you guys to research your family history! See if any of your ancestors were past heroes that you didn't know about, where they came from; Did they originate in Japan or somewhere else? Were any of them villains? Did any of them know each other? Find out! I wanna know it all!"
"The nerds mom and mine already know each other!" Bakugo shouts.
"Yes but what about grandparents? Or great grandparents?! That's what I want you to find out! It will be fun, interesting, and educational!"
"Hmm… That does actually sound fun and interesting! It's gonna be so manly!" Kirishima comments.
"I can't wait!" Toru adds.

"We better not waste any time so we can catch the train with uncle. Because he will leave us behind."
The others nod and follow him to the teacher's lounge.
When they walked in, Shota was talking with Nezu.
They pause their conversation.
"Took you long enough."
"Sorry uncle."
"Nevermind. We have a train to catch. Talk to you another time, Nezu."
"Of course!" He says smiling.

"Look I don't like students or people in general knowing where I live so keep this amongst yourselves yea?" He directs to Izu and Jiro.
"Hai sensei." They say.
"Just call me Aizawa outside of school." He adds.
"Alright." Kyoka comments.
"Well before I cook dinner would any of you like a snack or drink? We've got plenty. Tenya I already know what you want."
"Just water for me." Shoto says.
"A-and me." Izuku stutters.
~"What about you Kyoka?"~ Elly signs.
"Umm… Do you guys have Pocky?"
~"YES!"~ Elly signs happily. ~"What flavor do you want?"~
Jiro chuckles. "Umm what do you have?"
"We have at least one of every flavor. Hizashi and Elly love those things. So I've learned to stock up on them."
"Wow! Umm… I'll have Matcha please."
"Alright one Matcha and one Cookies and Cream. He says throwing the boxes to them.
All of a sudden Vanessa comes out of the bathroom.
"Hey my scorpius light. She says ruffeling Elly's hair."
~"Stop!"~
"Nah~ I'm good." She sees the other two. "Oh are these your friends?" She asks.
Elly nods. ~"She's Kyoka Jiro and he's Izuku Midoriya."~
"Nice to meet you." Vanessa says, holding out her hand. "I'm Vanessa."
They both shake her hand. Izuku starts to analyze things and something clicks.
"Are you two related somehow?" He asks.
"Actually yea. I'm her older sister. I live in America though. You're a smart one ain't ya? You're kinda like this one." She says pointing at her sister.
He laughs nervously while rubbing his neck. He abruptly stops and pulls out one of his notebooks.
"Can I write you in my notebook?"
"Sure."
"Thanks." He starts to fill out the details. "May I ask, how old are you and what's your birthday?"
"18. 4/14."
"Hight?" He asks not looking up.
"5'9." She answers.
"Quirk?"
"It's called Hydra-Glitch."
"Hydra? He asks now looking up. (A/N: The whole class now knows about Elly's Hydro quirk) "Is that how you came up with the name of your water quirk?" he asks Elly who nods.
"Can you explain your quirk?" He asks Vanessa.
"No problem. So it's actually two quirks but sorta in one."
"Oh, like Todoroki-kun's!" He says delighted.
"Yes. The first is the Hydra. So it works like Elly's except I can't create water, only manipulate it. So I don't have to drink a lot of water like she does when she has to use it. My Glitch allows me to, well, glitch. I can move objects or myself and it's like they float. And I can sorta teleport myself or objects I guess. I call the move Glitch-a-port. Here I'll show you."
She glitches the pocky that was in Elly's hand to her own while letting it float while it looks like is glitching.
"Cool!" Izuku says.
~"Hey!"~ Elly signs at the same time.
Vanny glitches them back.
"To be honest, much like Elly's Paranorma quirk I don't know where my Glitch quirk came from. My boyfriend actually has a similar if not the same quirk as it."
"Interesting. I hope you didn't mind that I drew you." Izuku says.
"Not at all. Can I see?"
Izuku shows her but doesn't hand her the notebook and she doesn't try to take it which he respects.
"Woah! That's very detailed. I've never seen anyone but her do that!" Vanessa says, looking at him and Elly.
He laughs nervously again and rubs his head.
"Y-yea I have tons of notebooks filled with people. Mostly heroes though."
"Especially All Might~!" Jiro says, sing songy.
"Just like 2 or 3!" Izuku defends.
"Oh don't worry, that's nothing compared to the amount of notebooks my sister has on Aizawa."
"How many would that be?" Tenya asks, now gaining curiosity. And Shota cocks an eyebrow also curious.
"Umm… About 10 the last time I heard."
"10!?" Izuku and Jiro shout.
Shota just looks surprised.
"How did you fill up 10 notebooks of me? Barely anyone even knows who I am. Let alone 1 notebook." Shota says shocked.
"I found anything and everything I could on you. And I also drew you a lot…" She mumbles.
"That's dedication." Shoto says quietly.
"Agreed." Tenya and Jiro comment.
"Well you 5 better get working on your project. I have dinner to cook."
"Hai" They all say.
"Would you like some help, Shota-kun?" Vanny asks.
"Sure." He smiles.
"Ok so I guess we need to dive into our backgrounds now. This'll be fun." Jiro says.
~"I'm actually quite curious."~ Elly signs while leaning on Tenya to reach her laptop.
"I could have gotten that for you."
~"No thanks, I like to try to do things on my own first."~
She logs into it and goes to a specific website that also helped her get information on Shota.
"What are you doing? Izuku asks.
~"What we do best of course. Research."~
~"Alright, who should we start the research on?"~
"I mean it's your house and computer it should be you." Izuku says.
~"Doesn't matter who's place if someone wants to be researched first I don't mind or care."~
"Please? Plus you can learn more about your family history. I already know some of mine."
~"Fine."~
So she does the search on herself.
After a few minutes she comes across something interesting making her whole expression, and posture change.
"What's wrong Snowflake?" Shoto asks.
"S-someo-one g-get V-vann-ny an-and d-dad…" She stutter mumbles.
They barely heard her but Kyoka gets up and goes to the kitchen.
"Erm, sorry for interrupting but Elly told one of us to get you both, It seems that she found something on the research for our project."
"It's fine, Jiro, we just finished. Now go on, we're right behind you." Shota says.
So the 3 of them head to the room and Kyoka takes her spot again.
"What's up sis?"
"I-I think I f-foun-nd ou-ut who our g-grand-dmoth-ther is o-on our f-fath-ther's side."
"Really? That's great! Who is she?"
She takes a deep breath.
"N-nan-na Shim-mur-ra."
Everyone's shocked. Especially Izuku.
"Wh-what..?" Izuku says.
"She said Nana Shimura…" Tenya says softly.
"Th-that-t's i-imp-poss-sib-ble!?" Izuku slightly shouts confused.
"What do you mean problem child?"
"Nana Shimura is my grandmother!"
"What?! I mean he's right there's no possible way! Our last name is Sora, not Shimura!"
"It says that she had two sons and a daughter. The first child, a son, Kotaro Shimura. The second being Jiro Shimura. And the last child and only daughter Inko Shimura. It also says here that Nana has an unnamed husband and that Kotaro had a wife named Nao, a daughter named Hana and a son named Tenko. It says that everyone in Kotaro Shimura's family died except his son Tenko who is missing and presumed dead. And that Jiro Shimura changed his last name to Jiro Sora." Shoto reads.
"That- that explains where the unknown quirks come from and how father was an Okami and why I didn't get either of those quirks." Vanny says.
"S-so w-we're c-cous-sain-ns?" Izuku asks.
"Seems so…" Vanessa answers.
"Welp it looks like I'ma have to deal with the court even more so now." Shoto grumbles.
"What do you mean?" Vanny asks.
"Well even though you're her sister you're not old enough to adopt her if you wanted so the adopter gets the right automatically. But if it's found that there's another family member who's alive and able to take her then I have to let them know and go to extra court hearings and what not. But if they don't want her for whatever reason, be it best interests, or something else then the adopter gets the child." He explains.
"Well that sounds 'fun'." Vanny air quotes.
"Yep. Midoriya it looks like I'm going to have to speak with your mother sometime soon. We'll have to have a meeting with the rat and social services. And what I mean by we I'm also including you and Elly."
"O-oh..? I-i'll let mom know when I'm home to call you if you want?"
"Sure I'll call Nezu after dinner and explain and he'll probably contact her social worker. Speaking of dinner, it's done so go to the table."
"Hai." They all chorus.
"Did you learn anything new today besides just a few minutes ago?" Shota asks once they all sat down with their food.
~"Yes, I learned that I hate math even more. Usually if I like the teacher I like or at least can tolerate the class. I like Ectoplasm but I really really hate math even more now."~ She signs with an exasperated face.
Vanny snorts. "Well that's life kiddo. You still got 3 more years after that."
Elly groans and puts her head on Shoto's shoulder so as not to bang it on the table and he head pats her.
She sits back up and signs ~"Well at least I'm still doing good in reading, writing, and English."~
"If you want I can help you with your math." Tenya provides.
~"Sure. By the way, how am I supposed to do the Sports Festival in 2 days? I know uncle Zashi has a plan with Hatsume-san but I'm still confused."~
"Neither of them told me either. They said it was a surprise."
~"Ok now i'm scared."~
"As you should be." Tenya and Shota speak at the same time.
She hits her head against Shoto's arm again.
"I don't think there's much to worry about. Hatsume-san is a great inventor. Plus her inventions are safe." Izu pipes up. "Most of the time…" He mumbles.
Elly whimpers slightly.
"Well whatever happens we'll be sure to have a rockin' great time and do our best!" Kyoka says.
"Gotta agree on this one we'll do our best." Shoto finally says, which makes Elly lift her head a little.
He plants a tiny quick kiss on her head which makes her turn away and blush heavily.
"Hmph." She says and resumes eating.
Later it's time for the others to head home.
"Alright problem children, it's time to head home. Does anyone need a ride?"
"No need uncle. Auntie said she'll be here in 2 minutes."
"Alright then. Bye brats."
"Bye sensei, bye Elly, bye Miss Vanessa." They all say.
~"Bye."~ She signs."
"Heh bye kiddos see you guys friday. You can just call me Vanessa though."
They all leave.
Once Izuku got home his mom hugged him tightly.
"Mom- can't breathe!"
"Oh sorry dear!" She says loosening the hug as he hugs back. "How was your day?"

"Well tell me about it?"
"Y'know how you said grandma had you and uncle Kotaro?"
"Yes~?" She draws out questioningly.
"And y'k that project we're doing for Kayama-sensei's class?"
"Mhm, go on dear."
"Well today she decided to add something to it. She wanted us to research our ancestors. And Elly did her's today."
"Ok… I'm not really seeing the point dear…"
"Well she had a father named Jiro Sora. But he changed it, before that his name was Jiro Shimura. Apparently he was your older brother from what we found out but he's younger than uncle Kotaro."
She's shocked. "I-I had an-noth-ther broth-ther..?" She manages to ask.
He nods slowly.
She cries and embraces him in another hug and he hugs her back.
"But see another reason why I told you is because of Elly's adoption process since you're the only official legal adult related. And they'd want you to adopt her since the system works that way." He says, rolling his eyes at the last part.
"What did you mean 'only official legal adult' dear?" She asks letting him go.
"Well you see she has an older sister who lives in America who's an adult but she's not 21 she's 18 so in either case she's not technically an adult and it wouldn't matter if it was this country or there since you can only adopt at 21."
"I see…"
"So Aizawa sensei wanted to talk to you so I told him I'd tell you and ask you to call him."
"Alright dear, I'll do that in a minute. Why don't you go ahead and take a shower and I'll start to sort things out."
"Ok mom."
He heads off to his room to gather what he needs and plans to take a quick one so he can listen in if his mother lets him and he really hopes she does.
