After that small dispute at the Gryffindor table, I quickly finished my abandoned food, and left to go back to the common room.
I had been forward to going back to the muggle world even for a little while. But after seeing the severity of the circumstances, I wasn't willing to risk the girls or any of the other children from Tom's orphanage, even though he was more than happy to comply to not go back to that horrid place.
Anything to avoid that retched woman.
I sat in the common room for a while before I sighed tiredly, deciding to turn in for the night.
My things were packed and ready to go in my trunk and book bag.
Everything was there.
All I needed to do was change my clothes after I woke up tomorrow morning. Even Chloe was in the confinement of her cage.
I began to get the familiar stirring in my stomach as I climbed into bed.
From experience, I knew that it was either a vision coming along or that the events that occurred at dinner were starting to wear me down.
I could feel as a fuzzy feeling began to seep into my mind, my visions clouding with blurry and eventually black spots.
The last thing I remember was my head hitting my pillow before I sunk into unconsciousness.
From the images before me I could tell that it was going to be an intense summer, more so for some, than others.
I was beginning to believe that getting together this summer is a truly bad idea.
However, considering that there are too many variables on the line that could be affected if we don't. It is crucial that everyone knew everything that we know at this point, otherwise it would be like going in blindly.
When I snapped my eyes back opened it was morning. I could tell by the chaos that was occurring out in the small corridors within the girls' dormitories. I could hear screeching of many of the girls within the corridors.
Realizing what time, it was — seven in the morning. I rushed out of bed, flicking my wrist to make the bed, before ripping off my night dress. I then gathered my clothes in my arms and rushing to the bathroom.
Showering quickly in cold water to scare any sleep left over, away.
When I stepped out, I quickly used a quick-dry spell, slipping my clothes on in a rush.
I forwent slipping on any two articles of clothing, instead going for a gray, black and white, floor length, cotton maxi dress.
When I finished getting dressed I quickly applied a light layer of mascara, and eyeliner, then smothered some lip balm over my lips. Then I quickly semi curled my hair, slipping on a Greek Gold Laurel head band.
I then gathered the rest of my clothes in my arms, and my toiletries into a bag before I exited the bathroom.
When I finished putting the last of the items I had left out the night prior, into my trunk. I slipped on my black ankle boots with chains on them, slowly scanning the room to make sure nothing was left.
With one last nod to myself, I pet Chloe's head lovingly and gave her a snack before heading down for breakfast.
While walking down to the Great Hall, I took a small detour, heading quickly towards a small flower-filled meadow on the hill top, near the northern clock tower.
I stood there watching the sun gleam off the fresh cut grass and dewy flowers.
It was eight, meaning I had an hour before breakfast finished completely and we had to head out towards the train station.
Walking as fast as I could to the Great Hall, slipping on the pendent my mother gave me months ago when I had that vision of her and my father, around my neck.
It felt like it belonged there, it was neither heavy or bothersome as it hung, hitting just below the valley of my chest as I walked.
When I reached the Great Hall, I realized I was one of the last few people that arrived, setting aside the fact that most if not all girls from Slytherin were currently rushing to pack all of their things before parting time.
As I sat down, I could feel more than a couple of stares, many of which were directed to my chest.
I quickly crossed my arms over my chest, before pulling my cloak over my pendent.
"Did you sleep in? Or were you rushing to pack your things?" Tom asked, teasingly.
"First one, I was tired." I mumbled in response, before blinking twice.
"Oh, how many people do you think will be going this summer?" I asked, as I reached towards the middle of the table. Grabbing two pieces of toast, a poached egg, and a piece of fried ham.
"Let's see, our friends, your Gryffindor friends have told me they'd 'attempt' to attend, and from there, I am not entirely sure. From what I can tell it will be a rather large group attending. The professors have informed me that they will be practicing here during break, and that come the beginning of the school year, they shall get back to us on what we shall be doing. I am not entirely sure what they meant by that, though." He said, as he threw a grape into his mouth and began chewing it.
I nodded in response as I chewed through a piece of toast slowly. Trying to make the unease I felt bubbling in my stomach disappear.
I swallowed hard as I finished the last piece of the food on my plate, realizing that it was almost time to depart.
When I got back to the common room I realized that our trunks and owls were removed from our housing and taken to the Entrance Courtyard.
I grabbed my bag and slowly made my way back down to the common room.
Only to find that everyone was already there, waiting for me as I walked down the stone steps.
"My Lady," Lucius greeted, politely.
"It's Anna, it's fine, it doesn't matter either way." I replied, before shaking my head and clearing it. "What's going on?" I asked, dropping my bag on my lap as I plopped down, staring at everyone in the room.
"We're debating if it will seem too suspicious if we all leave the train station together." Dolohov said.
"So, don't. We get off in one stop, then go to our respective homes to drop things off and pack for the summer, then we all go over to the location separately." I said, shrugging.
Everyone nodded in agreement, before standing up and beginning to head towards the courtyard to board the carriages to head towards the station.
When we got to the Hogsmeade train station, we all quickly boarded the train.
I walked towards a compartment, quickly finding an empty one. Before I went to sit down on the left side, staring out of the window as the train began to crawl away from the station.
As the train began to pick up pace the girls walked in sitting down across from me.
It was about an hour into the voyage when I heard sniffling out the compartment door, without thinking about it, I stood up opened the door.
I could hear the girls beginning to follow me but I quickly shut the door behind me, leaving them inside.
The site before me shook me to my core.
I was met with Olive Hornby, along with Jenny Smith and two other girls cornering a cowering Myrtle Warren on the floor.
I could feel my blood boil as I watched them tease her about her glasses and yank on her braids.
"Leave. Her. Alone." I snarled, almost shaking.
"Riel. I wasn't expecting you to come to the defense of this mudblood. Of course considering you are one, I am not surprised in the least of you defending your own kind." Olive sneered, kicking Myrtle's shin, making her yelp as she tried to cower back some more into the wall.
"You truly want to talk about blood status, Hornby? Fine. Let's talk." I said, nodding as I stepped closer to her.
She and her friends exchanged a nervous glance before turning to stare at me, wide-eyed. Good. They should be nervous.
"Hornby, how is it that you are judging me when you yourself have a questioning blood status? Tell me, which one of your parents is the muggle? Wait, no. Is your family one of the sacred twenty-eight families?" I asked, sneering back as I felt Tom's presence quickly approach.
She sputtered for a moment before finally answering.
"Riel, we all know you are a muggle born, I mean your home is a muggle orphanage, and then there's also the fact you don't even know who your parents are." She retorted, growing frustrated at my nonchalance.
I smirked at her, getting ready to throw the death blow, "You ignored my question," I pointed out, "But that doesn't matter."
She started at me in confusion. I almost laughed at her idiotic expression.
"See, I don't need confirmation on what blood status I have, for I know who my parents are. They may be gone, but I do know who they are. Not like you. See, I do know for a fact that your father is a muggle because no sane male wizard was willing to get within a safe distance to touch your mother, let alone fuck her." I asserted, coldly.
I watched with a bored expression as her eyes went wide and began to shine with unshed tears, then her face grew a startling red tint to it.
She pulled out her wand but before she could utter a single word, I smiled angelically at her, as I thought of the stunning spell and twitched my littlest finger, watched in amusement as she flew back, landing on her air-headed friends.
I could feel Tom and the guys shaking with silent laughter as a group began gathering around us.
"Oh, shit." Someone gasped, from somewhere behind me.
"Alright, alright there is nothing to see here, go back to your compartments before I deduct points." Tom said.
"You can't do that, the year is already over." A first year complained.
"I can, actually at the start of the new school year. Don't talk back." He replied smoothly.
I looked at Myrtle, who was still on the ground. "Are you alright, Myrtle?" I asked, offering my hand to her.
She nodded, still shaking a bit as she stood unsteadily on her feet.
"What's going on?" Seamus asked, appearing from the compartment next to ours.
"Hornby and her air-headed friends attacked Myrtle again, would you mind her sitting in your compartment with you and your friends?" I asked.
He shook his head in response, flexing to fingers beckoning her.
She nodded, mouthing 'thank you' in my direction as she slowly disappeared into the compartment.
"That was bloody brilliant!" Bastan muttered as we walked into the compartment along with the group of guys and Tom.
I rolled my eyes at him as we sat down next to each other.
