It was an interesting day to say the least. After defeating Kanon we immediately went towards Undine's spring in hopes of quickly getting the spirit and then leaving. {And therein lies the problem. We have no clue what their goals are. So far the only thing we have seen is kidnapping monsters and unleashing an ancestor. But nothing that is really substantial.} He said, and he was right. These guys were nothing more than ghosts. They pop in and do one thing and then immediately something else in a whole area.

{Do you think they'll try and do something like awakening another ancestor?} He added on.

{Definitely. Chances are that we'll probably meet them again once we grab Undine.} Was it a shot in the dark? Yeah, most definitely but my gut feeling is that it will. And I trust my gut feeling.

Luka seemed to agree as he changed the subject to something else that was weighing on my mind. {So about the fight with Kanon. Didn't she feel… I don't know if I'm weak? Like they are not as strong as they were presumed to be?}

He was right. While Kanon did give us trouble, she wasn't as strong as we would have thought. Hell, she wasn't even as strong as a heavenly knight! Fortunately there was probably a good reason.

{I think she might have been weak due to the seal and the fact that she was released. The seal was constantly draining her power so that they couldn't break out until enough dark energy was forced into it.} I told him, before something else came to mind. { And I think the seal is also weak to the certain type of dark energy that flows into it. They used the monsters in plantsect village, monsters that just so happened to fall under Kanon.}

Luka was silent before responding with something that I admittedly didn't think of. { Ok that makes sense. Could that also be why she never recognized you?}

I stopped, not moving but thinking. Then it hit. How come she didn't notice? Was it because I didn't say my name? Show her my power? Because I was older? Thoughts and thoughts just ran through me. I didn't know, but I wanted to know.

{I-I don't know…} I told him. Luka glanced over at me and put his hand on my shoulder.

"It'll be fine. We'll find out when we can." He whispered. I thanked him and from there we walked in silence. Soon we reached Undine's spring, which… yeah no that's a lake.

"So… will you head in or will you wait?" Alice spoke looking at the two of us.

Honestly we felt like calling it a day, until Sylph spotted something.

"Hey! Look over there!" Sylph pointed to a nearby campfire. The campfire itself was out, but it was warm. Somebody was here, no judging by the amount of equipment (which wasn't much) the more accurate term were people.

I felt a tug on my leg and saw that it was a mud doll holding something. It was a vial of silver goo. My eyes widened.

"Luka were going in now!" I yelled. Without asking questions we headed and jumped straight into the spring. Before even touching the water we were surrounded by a white light before we landed inside of the cave. The place was dim, cold.

"Come on, it looks like they got further ahead than us." Luka said, shaking me out of my funk. He was right, there were trails of silver on the ground leading deeper into the cave.

Soon not long after we ran into a jelly girl. She seemed mad. Like very mad.

"Grrhh! Another human!? How many more of you bastards are going to keep coming here!?" The jelly girl screamed. Yeah ok so mad is an understatement.

"Woah! Hey calm down, we're not your enemies!" Luka attempted to calm her down but that only seems to have pissed her off more.

"Oh really? So all of my friends you guys cut down just a minute ago, you telling me that you didn't have anything to do with that!?" She yelled with a bit of sarcasm.

"No we didn't! In fact we've already had to fight and face these guys at least 3 times already!" I yelled back. Seriously, did we have to keep screaming? My ears are starting to hurt.

The jelly girl only narrowed her eyes before moving out the way surprisingly. "Go, but if you're lying I'll hunt you down myself." She threatened.

"Thank you. Please warn any others we only come to help." I said only to get a glare in return before she left. "Well that could've gone better…" I said letting out a sigh.

"Yeah. We better hurry." Luka said, looking down the cave. With that we sprinted down the cave.

Word must have spread fast since from the jelly girl on we haven't seen or fought a single slime afterwards. Soon though our perspective changed when we heard the sound of a yell.

"Arggh! You bastards!" a voice yelled out from around the corner.

We rounded the corner to spot a slime girl being surrounded by seven men while three were leaving through a different exit. The slime herself looked a tad bit similar to the slime girl we first ever saw, but with a few more differences.

The first being that she looked like an older woman. Second she had markings all on her left side. Third was the red hue in her eyes and a… gem on her head, honestly never knew what that was. (A/n. No seriously what is that on her head?)

It was Erubetie the queen slime. And from the look of the fight she was being overwhelmed.

"Hehe, for the queen slime you're quite weak." One man said cockily. He got smacked by another one of the men right after.

"Oi, stop getting cocky. The only reason we have her like this is because of these weapons. Or would you rather fight with nothing but normal weapons?" He said. Got to give it to him at least he knew how the situation could have gone.

"Sorry boss…" The other said, rubbing his head. Grunting, the boss left and walked to the other exit. When the boss had left the other looked back at Erubetie. "Well boss never said we couldn't have fun…" He and the others started getting a dirty smirk on their face now looking at the weakened slime queen. Yeah, not happening.

Jumping out from around the corner Luka landed between Erubetie and the men while I jumped between them and the other exit.

"Wassup fuckers!" I yelled. The men looked like we caught them with their pants down, which in one's case we did. "Didn't your mother ever teach you not to bully a lady?"

To say they went from confused to angry in a split second was an understatement.

"Get that mutha fucka!" the man with his pants STILL down said.

Three minutes later

"Well that wasn't hard." I said bored as the men were all on the ground unconscious.

"What did you expect? The only reason we would have trouble is if these guys were more in numbers." Luka said, raising an eyebrow.

"No but- Woah!" I was cut off by a wave of slime trying to cover me. Looking back I saw Erubetie looking down right murderous but still worn out from the fight she had with the men. "Hey calm down! We're here to help!"

Erubetie didn't seem to register that fact though but before she could do anything another slime entered. This slime radiated calmness all around her, easily easing the tension within us. Wasn't hard to figure out who this was.

"Undine, why have you stopped me?" Erubetie said in a restrained tone.

Undine merely looked at her before radiating more of her power to calm Erubetie. "What he says it's true, they've come to help."

Erubetie seemed to finally calm down slowly before looking at us. "Sorry…"

"Don't be, you were just doing what you felt was right." Luka said.

*Rumble*

The cave started to shake, just like at plantsect village. The ancestor who resides here must have just been released.

"Bro! We better go check that out." I told him before rushing towards the other exit that the men from earlier went through.

We arrived at a spring (which actually looked like a spring.) in the middle was a shrine that seemed to be sinking into the water. It was still until a few minutes later the water started to swirl till standing in the was ANOTHER slime. But this time it was obvious who it was, no questions about it.

"Hello Kanade." I say with me and Luka stepping in front of the water. The ancestor looked at us before disappearing into the water and reappearing next to us.

"Hello little brother." Kanade said, giving me a smile before turning to the other men. "Are these the people who have been giving you trouble?"

All the men were nervous, all but one. It seemed he was the leader of the group.

"Yeah, this would be them. Don't worry we'll deal with em'." I say as me and Luka get ready to give these guys a beat down. But the man who wasn't nervous stepped forward and raised his hand.

"Don't bother, our mission here is over. I assume 'my' workers didn't follow instructions and are probably dead right now." The guy was so calm in his talking it was kind of scary.

"Maybe that's up to them to decide. We just simply gave them a beat down. Hope that's ok." I told him. 'This guy doesn't seem fazed at all. Even with Kanade right here.'

"They only had one job, if they failed then that was their own doing." The man pulled out an orb before throwing it on the ground. There was now a door there and quickly the three men left through it. The man who threw the orb simply watched as they left before turning towards us.

"You have questions. Questions about our motives and plans." He spoke, before pulling out a letter and tossing it at us. I caught it and simply examined it. "That has your answers in it, though they will most likely be in a vague tone, possibly in a puzzle-like fashion. My boss always loves a good puzzle." The man said, walking towards the door.

"Who are you?" I told him and he stopped.

"I have forgotten my own name, but my boss calls me Hades." and with that he left. It was silent after that before I was covered by slimy hands.

"Fine… I shall leave." And with that Erubetie left, but Undine was still there.

"I will stay. I have a feeling that you wish to seek my power, seeing as you have two other spirits with you and that I would like to know more about who will be my new host." Undine said.

"Alright, so what did you want to talk about Kana-" I spoke but was cut off by a glare.

"Sister." Is all she said. Guess she wants me to call her that.

"Ok… so sis what did you want to talk about?" I said this time not being cut off.

Kanade smiled before talking. "Well your mother has been more active as of late and there's something else."

Undine was confused, since you know we still haven't told her about me or Luka. "To quickly explain Undine, my mother is Alipheese the First. Due to some circumstances I saved Luka's life which ultimately made him my brother. If you want more details ask the other two they'll be sure to tell you." I said. Undine was just staring at us for a minute before closing her eyes.

Finally sighing she looked towards Luka. "Hold out your hand." She told him. "I'm not even going to bother testing you to see if you're worthy to use my power, something tells me to just go with it."

Luka just looked at me, to which only shrugged and then he held out his hand to Undine. After a minute there was a light and then Undine was gone presumably into Luka's mind.

"So what were you saying earlier sis?" I looked towards Kanade in question who looked to space out for a bit. "Sis?"

"Huh? Ah! Sorry, I must have blanked out there." Kanande chuckled. "Anyways, like I said your mother is getting more and more active, she's being able to watch you two more often now and even starting to be able to influence subtle things around you."

"And the other thing?" Tamamo asked.

"The seals are weakening and now it's only a matter of time before the six ancestors are all back into the world." Kanade said joyfully.

The woman started giggling before hugging the genie. "Yeah always!" The mother and daughter sat there embracing each other before the daughter backed up. "Well what happened? I know this isn't probably isn't you right now. Otherwise your lamp wouldn't be flashing like it is now." The daughter asked.

She was right the lamp was flashing, though neither seemed concerned. "Hmm, that's right. You see I got picked up by a couple of adventures, who you might want to join. I know you love an adventure or two." The genie smirked at her daughter who seemed ready to jump up and rush off.

"Where are they?! Huh?" She asked with stars in her eyes.

Her mother giggled. "They're heading to some type of carnival near Grangold. Seeing how far you are, I would suggest trying to find a route to where you can check the carnival without stopping towards Grangold. Oh and their names are Ryan and Luka." Her daughter nodded and the genie smiled. The lamp's flashing was growing dimmer by the second. Realizing that her time was up, the genie gave her daughter a kiss on her head before she and her lamp disappeared without a trace.

The daughter looked on forward, before a smile started to walk in a certain direction humming along to a song in her head. 'Ryan and Luka huh? I wonder what type of people they are…'

Something I need to say is that the Wattpad version of this story will be more fleshed out compared to this one. Though that only applies to chapters 3 - 8, since I feel those chapters I did sort of just rush through. So the plan will be to flesh those out more which results into more chapters, but don't worry in the end both this version and the Wattpad one will have the same exact chapters word for word.

Also I want to know do you think next chapter should be another flashback or do we just continue the show?
