Here we are at Chapter 86. Time for some fun and friendly or unfriendly meetings. I do not own RWBY or Tranformers. They belong to their respective owners. Here's chapter 86. Enjoy.
Chapter 86: Meetings among Mayhem
Out in the wilderness, Megatron, Bumblebee, and Strongarm continue their search for his friends.
"I'm guessing you guys have no way of tracking each other, huh?" Bumblebee asks.
"Unfortunately, no. Maybe with our scrolls, our communication devices, but they don't seem to work in this world. The technology is too different. I only hope we find them before Steeljaw and his decepticons do," Megatron replies.
"You think if we find Steeljaw and his pack, maybe you could convince them to stand down? Actually, forget that. I don't think they'll listen to you now that you're human," Bumblebee notes.
"Agreed. And I wasn't planning on using peaceful means either. If they get in the way, we'll take them down. I'll assist you so you can apprehend them. I care not for my former soldiers. Only those I would call... friend now. Let's just focus on finding Yang, and swiftly," Megatron looks out the window.

Back at the scrapyard, Fixit is on the controls, "Okay, I'm opening the ground bridge now for the away team," hitting one last button, their makeshift ground bridge comes online.
Through the portal, Windblade, Drift and his minicons, and Optimus Prime walk on through along with their decepticon prisoner, Razorpaw, and his minicons.
"Glad you guys made it back in one piece. I was starting to get worried you wouldn't come back in time," Russell says.
"We are fine. Optimus has been regaining his strength too. This one gave us some trouble, but we captured him nonetheless," Drift says as he and Windblade force Razorpaw into a stasis pod for future transport.
"Optimus, how are you feeling?" Fixit asks.
"I am fine, Fixit. I am sorry if I worried you all," Optimus replies.
"Optimus, it's good you all are back, because we have a situation. It's a real woozy-jacuzzi-doozy," Fixit smacks himself.
"What are you talking about? Have we figured out what Steeljaw is up to?" Windblade asks.
"No, but he has been really active as of late. It's, well, it's better if you speak with Bumblebee on the matter. He's out scouting with Strongarm while Sideswipe is in another area," Fixit explains.
"Hey, Grimlock, what's he talking about?" Windblade turns to the dinobot.
The dinobot just looks around the scrapyard, "Uh, well, it's probably better if Bee talks to ya. I still don't understand a lot of it,"
Optimus looks between the group before turning back to the minicon, "Fixit, where is Bumblebee now?"
Fixit pulls up another screen, "Locating his signature now. One second..."
As he searches for Bumblebee's group, at the edge of the scrapyard, Dreadwing's group watch on while hiding behind some of the scrap.
"Optimus Prime... alive?!" Dreadwing still can't believe what he sees.
"I thought you said he was dead," Weiss whispers.
"I did. But, if he's alive, then this helps us. Optimus Prime was the one that sent me to Remnant, just like the others. He may even have a way to get us back to Remnant," Dreadwing says.
"Like that portal thing they came out of?" Weiss asks.
"Ground bridge... limited range," Soundwave notes.
"Yes, I heard them too. That ground bridge can send us anywhere on this planet, but its range isn't enough to get us back to Remnant. Plus, there's another problem. We don't know the coordinates for Remnant. We have no idea how far away it is from Earth. But Optimus might know," Dreadwing gets an idea and then comes out from hiding.
"Wait, Dreadwing!" Weiss calls out.
"Okay, I found Bumblebee and Strongarm. They're twenty-four miles southeast from here. They haven't gotten far," Fixit says.
"Then bridge us to their coordinates so we may speak with them," Optimus requests.
"May we accompany you on this mission, Prime?" a new voice speaks up and they look to find Dreadwing standing before them.
"Man, at this rate, I might as well put up a new sign saying this place is a tourist attraction. Look, there's nothing to see here. These are just-," Denny tries to play them off, but Optimus holds out a hand.
"Dreadwing," the prime recognizes him immediately.
"It's good to know you haven't forgotten me, Optimus Prime," Dreadwing replies.
"But, how are you here?" Optimus can hardly believe it.
"That is a bit of a story, among other things," Dreadwing looks back as Weiss and Soundwave join them.
"Soundwave," Optimus then looks to Weiss. "And you are Weiss Schnee,"
Weiss looks surprised that he knows her name, "You know who I am?"
"Yes. As I'm sure he told you, I was the one who sent Dreadwing to Remnant. With the mission of protecting you. I did the same with Soundwave for Ruby Rose. It's a pleasure to make your acquaintance in person. Though, I wasn't expecting it to be under these circumstances. If you're here, then... is Megatron here as well?" Optimus asks.
"I believe so, and others as well. Friend and foe alike. We must find them, and quickly," Dreadwing explains.
"I understand. Fixit, did you and the others see Megatron?" Optimus asks.
"Yes, sir. He's with Bumblebee now," Fixit says.
"Then let's roll out," Optimus declares.
"Wait, Optimus, what's going on here?" Windblade asks.
"I will explain when we meet up with Bumblebee. Right now, we must make haste," Optimus says.
"Wait, take us with you!" Weiss steps up. "If our friends are out there, then I'm going to find them,"
"Uh, maybe you should stay here and wait until Prime and the others get back," Denny suggests.
"I am going and you can't stop me!" Weiss leaves no room for argument as she draws Myrtenaster.
"Uh, okay," Denny back off, wanting to keep his head on.

Meanwhile, Yang continues moving through the wilderness, trying to find any allies while staying clear of potential enemies. Catching her breath, Yang looks around to make sure the coast is clear before moving again. However, the second she comes out into a clearing, a loud crash occurs behind her. She looks back as the dust settles to see a giant robot standing behind her, Overload.
"Well, well, well, what do we have here? A stage-hand has left her post," Overload notes.
Yang activates her gauntlets as she slowly steps back, "You'd better back off, you overgrown tin-can,"
"Sorry, but I believe I know the perfect role for you. I still have unfinished business with Optimus Prime. He won't resist a human in need. Come with me to the island without struggle, and you'll live... for the time being," Overload smirks.
"I'm not some damsel in distress, buddy," Yang fires off a shot at his chest, but it barely fazes him.
"Hmm, your fire lacks flare, girl. You might want to try this," two cannons pop out of his chest and he fires.
Yang flies back with her gauntlets to evade the shots and moves away while dodging Overload's shots. Overload gives chase, hoping to capture Yang for use as bait. Yang hides within the trees, using her smaller size to her advantage.
"Come now, we cannot put on a marvelous performance if we're hiding in the shadows and not working in the spotlights. If you won't take center stage, then I will make you," Overload starts firing at the trees themselves, shooting them all down. He looks around as the dust settles, but finds no sign of Yang.
"Up here, Shakespeare!" Overload looks up in time to see Yang coming down and throwing a haymaker in his face.
The surprise attack on his face surprises him and stuns him a bit, but no real damage is done. That was not Yang's intention though. It was merely to give herself an opening to escape. Yang flies away with her gauntlets and makes a break for it. Overload growls before giving chase.
"Man, if it's not giant Grimm, it's giant robots. Sometimes, I really hate feeling like the underdog in a fight," Yang groans as she continues running.
Yang comes over a hill, only for Overload to jump up and land right in front of her, stopping her in her tracks.
"I really don't like wasting my time on a mere understudy. You're coming with me, whether you like it or not," Overload reaches down for her.
"How about 'not'," Overload turns and gets hit in the chest by a yellow muscle car.
The car turns and stops, allowing Megatron to get out before Bumblebee transforms.
"Yang!" Megatron yells.
Yang looks back and smiles, "Megatron!"
Overload shakes his head and stares at them, "Megatron? What?" he stares at the former decepticon leader.
"You're coming with me, Overload. And this time, you're staying there," Bumblebee takes out his staff.
"Bumblebee. Here to interrupt my performance yet again," Overload fires off his cannons, forcing Bumblebee to deflect the shots with his staff.
Megatron engages his semblance and takes flight on his jet board, flying into the air and around Overload.
"My top spy, here on Earth. This world is truly full of surprises," Megatron mutters.
He creates a large cannon on his left arm and fires off a shot. The shot hits Overload's back, causing him to look up in the sky. He sees Megatron flying around on a smaller version of his vehicle mode, and is confused once more. Megatron shoots his jet board at Overload like a rocket. Overload swings his arm to knock it away, but it vanishes instead. He looks again to see Megatron fly in and land a hard punch in his face, knocking him to the ground. Megatron lands off to the side and aims his arm cannon.
Overload rolls over and glares at him, "Who are you?"
"I am Megatron, and as I declared on Cybertron, the decepticons are no more. The war is over," Megatron replies.
"What?!" Overload can hardly believe it.
"Incoming!" Overload turns to see Strongarm roll in, transforming and jumping to deliver a double jump-kick to him.
Overload flies back, only for Bumblebee to hit him in the back with his staff, causing him to crash into a rocky hillside. Overload falls onto the ground, unconscious. Bumblebee and Strongarm move and slap the stasis cuffs on him.
Bumblebee sighs, "Nice job with the surprise attack there, Strongarm,"
"Just doing my job sir," Strongarm replies.
"Yang!" they turn to see Megatron wrap his arms around Yang in a tight embrace. "Thank the Allspark that you are safe,"
"Megatron, why did you have to get sent here with me?" Yang asks, though she returns the embrace.
"I made a promise, one I intend to keep. If you thought I wouldn't come for you, then you clearly have forgotten who I am," Megatron says.
Yang sighs, "Stupid. But... thank you, for coming for me,"
Bumblebee watches and is surprised by how much Megatron seems to care about Yang. It reminds him of what Optimus Prime once said on Cybertron. That every sentient being possesses the capacity for change. However, he also believes that the blonde played a huge role in Megatron's change.
The two separate, "I guess if you're here, then things didn't go so well back home, huh," Yang notes sadly.
"There will be time to discuss that, but not here. Right now, we need to find the others. You and I aren't the only ones that have ended up down here," Megatron says.
"So, this is the girl Optimus wanted you to protect," Bumblebee walks over.
Yang raises her fists, but Megatron holds out an arm, "At ease, Yang. He is an ally. Bumblebee, Optimus Prime's scout,"
Yang lowers her fists, but then realizes something, "Wait, Bumblebee? That was the name of my motorcycle... before it got trashed," she recollects, shedding a few waterfall tears at the loss of her precious motorcycle.
"Hah, I hope it had the same paint scheme as me," Bumblebee laughs. "So, you must be Yang Xiao Long. The name's Bumblebee. We've been looking for you. Megatron was worried sick, honestly,"
"Be silent, scout!" Megatron yells, but Yang is touched that he was worried for her.
Just then, a ground bridge portal opens up, and out comes Optimus Prime, Windblade, and Grimlock, along with Dreadwing's group.
Weiss is the first to spot them, "Yang!" she runs over to her teammate.
"Weiss!" Yang catches her teammate in a big hug.
"Can't breathe," Weiss wheezes.
Dreadwing and Soundwave join up with Megatron, "Of course, you would still be alive. If death didn't kill you, what could?" Dreadwing notes, while Soundwave offers a simple nod.
"It is good to see you as well, both of you. Have you seen any sign of the others?" Megatron asks.
"No sign. We encountered the autobots, and convinced them to aid us in searching," Dreadwing says.
Megatron looks back and sees Optimus walking over to them. Megatron walks past his comrades to greet him.
"I'd say I'd be surprised to see you here, alive. But, after everything I've seen in so short a time, not much else could surprise me anymore," Megatron says.
"It has been some time, my old friend," Optimus replies.
"But, still, to think that the primes would have the power to bring you back to life. You never disappoint," Megatron says.
"I am glad to see you again, Megatron, but I did not think it would be under these circumstances. How did you end up on Earth?" Optimus asks.
"Wait, Optimus, are you saying this human... is Megatron?!" Windblade asks incredulously.
"There will be time to discuss this, but this is not the place," Optimus glances at the downed Overload. "Let us all return to base. We will speak there,"
…
Everyone returns to the scrapyard through the ground bridge and Overload is locked up in a stasis pod for safe keeping. After that, Optimus explains to the team exactly how he found Megatron and sent him, Dreadwing, Predaking, Soundwave and Laserbeak, and Shockwave to Remnant as humans or Faunus in order to protect it and its people. In turn, Megatron explained how they all ended up on Earth, and what he learned during the battle for Atlas in the realm between kingdoms.
"Unicron's resurrection. I knew there was a danger to Remnant, but I did not think it would be so severe," Optimus looks up to the sky.
"But, you put his anti-spark in the container that held the Allspark. How coud he return if he's stuck in there?" Bumblebee asks.
"I do not know, Bumblebee. But, if this Thunderwing believes he can resurrect his master through Remnant's destruction, we shouldn't take such a threat lightly. That would explain how Starscream, Airachnid, Skyquake's body, and the Fallen himself would be there in human or Faunus form,"
"The Fallen. The one Megatron named himself after," Windblade glares at Megatron. "Optimus, I have always believed in you, but I don't understand why you sent Megatron and other decepticons to Remnant to protect it. Why not send the autobots instead?"
"I understand your wariness, Windblade, but it had to be them specifically. There are some that deserve a chance for redemption. Megatron is one such being. Besides, you all had your own tasks to accomplish, as did I," Optimus says.
"The Fallen said that Thunderwing would revive his love, Solus Prime, if he helped him destroy Remnant and resurrect Unicron. I highly doubt a servant of the Chaos Bringer would ever care for romance," Megatron says.
"Agreed. Megatronus must be desperate enough to bring Solus back that he'll do anything to accomplish his goal, even make a deal with the devil himself, as the humans would say. More importantly, if you are all here, then are the rest of your comrades here as well?" Optimus asks.
"I know that Blake Belladonna and Ruby Rose fell into the abyss before Lady Weiss and I did. They're most likely here. I do not know if anyone else fell," Dreadwing says.
"Then we must find them, especially Ruby Rose," Optimus says.
"Optimus, what makes this Ruby Rose so important? We've heard their story, but I still do not quite follow," Drift asks.
"Ruby Rose holds a power within her unlike any other on Remnant. A power born from those with Silver Eyes. On Remnant, it is said that those born with Silver Eyes are destined to lead the life of a warrior. And the creatures of Grimm that plague Remnant... fear those warriors. She is the key to saving Remnant. But, not just her alone," Optimus looks to Yang and Weiss. "Throughout your journey, you have fought, won, and lost. You have suffered losses, but you have grown. All of you. I'm sorry that I could not fight by your side. The universe had its own plans for me. But, know that not all hope is lost. Your being alive is proof of that. I'm sure this recent defeat against Salem is much, but it was not a complete defeat. You saved the people of Atlas. A kingdom is not a place. It is a people, and you saved the kingdom of Atlas. Its people will survive, and one day they will rebuild their home. As long as you remain alive, there is always hope,"
His words touch Yang and Weiss, the latter most of all as she sheds tears of sadness but also of relief and joy.
"Thank you. I felt so lost after losing my home. Twice after losing Beacon. But... when I met Dreadwing in Atlas," Weiss looks back to her knight. "I wasn't alone in that damn prison anymore. You brought him to me. He has helped me in so many ways, and he has always been there for me. But, not of that would be possible if not for you. So, allow me to thank you, for your words and your deeds. Thank you, Optimus Prime. You honor me," Weiss bows her head.
Optimus returns the gesture, "The honor is mine,"
"You were serious about Ruby being destined to save Remnant," Yang says.
"Yes. But, she cannot do it alone. She will need you, her sister, and her friends ans family by her side. Only by sharing the burden together, can you all carry it upon your shoulders to a better tomorrow," Optimus says.
Yang glances at Megatron, "I see why he was named a Prime,"
"For now, we should find the others. If Steeljaw and his pack find them first... No, we cannot allow that to happen," Megatron says.
"Protect... Ruby..." Soundwave says.
"Agreed, but we have no idea where they are, or have any means if tracking them. Our scrolls don't work on this world, so that method is useless," Dreadwing notes.
Megatron looks to Bumblebee, "Do you have a means of tracking energon on this world? Our weapons, even after we were transformed, still incorporate energon in them. Perhaps by tracking down Predaking, we can find the rest of them,"
"Well, it's worth a shot. Fixit, see what you can find," Bumblebee turns to the minicon.
"I'm on it, sir," Fixit gets working on the computers.
"Windblade, can you aid their search from the air? You can cover more ground than the rest of us," Optimus asks.
"Optimus, I would give my spark for you, but to aid Megatron, after everything he did to our world, and what he tried to do to Earth," Windblade is hesitant.
"I understand your hesitance, but Megatron is not the same as the warlord he once was. I have seen it. Know that this is to help not just Megatron, but all of humanity on another planet. Countless innocent lives hang in the balance. And we must not allow what once happened to Cybertron happen to Remnant," Optimus says.
Windblade sighs, "Alright then,"
"I'll go with you. My semblance will grant us two jets in the air, allowing us to cover more ground," Dreadwing offers.
Windblade groans, "This is going to be a long flight,"

Meanwhile, Steeljaw looks over his pack.
"I see Overload failed to meet up at the rendezvous. He's most likely been captured by the autobots," Steeljaw notes.
"What do we do now?" Thunderhoof asks.
"We'll have to move on without him. Let's head to the island. We'll move onto the next step there," Steeljaw notes.
However, as he turns, he finds none other than Neopolitan standing before him.
"A human? I thought I smelled a rat around here," Bisk notes as he walks over and swings his claw at her. However, Neo shatters into glass when it hits, only to turn up right on his shoulder. "What the-?!"
Neo jumps up and lands by Steeljaw, "Hmm, you're no ordinary human, are you," Neo stares up at him before changing form to look like Ruby. "A disguise, huh. But, is this human supposed to mean something to me?" Neo then changes form again, this time looking like a smaller version of Bumblebee. "Okay, you're starting to get my attention, human. But, I remain unconvinced,"
Neo changes back and jumps up to land on his shoulder. She focuses her semblance on him, phasing all over his body before it spreads out and creates a second and third Steeljaw standing next to the original. All present are shocked by what they see; Steeljaw most of all. Steeljaw turns his head, and the clones mimic him. Steeljaw looks back at Neo.
"Okay, human, you have my attention. What is it that you want?" Steeljaw asks.
Neo only replies with a dark smile.
And that's the chapter. Megatron reunites with Yang and most of their group, and meets Optimus Prime again in the metal flesh after so long. However, they are still missing a few more members of their group. Meanwhile, Neo makes a deal with Steeljaw on her quest for revenge. Will Megatron find the others before Neo does?
