Harry had woken up and looked around before he started to stretch as Persephone looked up at him, being woken up by him, §What are you getting up for,§ She asked him as she watched him get changed.
"O' morning, why must you be," They both heard Leo say as they turned to him, as he literally fell out of his, "Ow," He said from the floor.
Harry looked at his albino serpent before turning to Leo, "You ok," Harry asked him.
Leo picked himself up off the floor and looked at Harry, "Yea, I just need some tea, then I'm ready to go," He told him as they both put on their uniforms as walked out of the dorm room.
They met with Alex and Delphi as all four started to head down to the great hall.
And when they reached it, they found that there were now five long tables; each of the Heads of House stood at the front of the tables, and with the fifth table, Hagrid stood there.
"Good morning, students; I have the pleasure of informing you that our very own Keeper of Keys and Grounds has now been given the position of Head of House of the new House here at Hogwarts," Dumbledore called out as people started clapping, "So from this moment may I introduce Rubeus Hagrid the House head of Oroborus," Dumbledore said as Hagrid waves to the students before they all moved to their tables.
Hagrid walked over to them, and he handed them all a piece of paper that Dumbledore had given him, "Now, normally, I would like to get to know about you like the other heads do with their students, but I do not know what you have," Hagrid said as Harry looked down at the paper to find that it was a timetable for there lessons.
"It's our lesson timetable," Harry said as Leo nodded as he picked up a cup of tea.
"Alright, so what we got, my man," Leo said as he looked at the timetable they were given.
"Today, we have the first period free, then Herbology with Ravenclaw and Slytherin, then lunch followed by Potions with Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff, the same as Defence agest the Dark arts," Harry said as he looked it over.
"Tomorrow, we also have the first period free, then Charms with Ravenclaw and Slytherin, then lunch and double Magical Theory with Gryffindor and Hufflepuff," Alex said as Harry nodded, still looking at the timetable.
"Wednesday, another free first period like Mondays; we have Potions before lunch and Potions after, followed by Astonomy with Gryffindor and Ravenclaw," Harry said before he looked over to the next day, "Thursday, we start with Transfiguration with Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff, then Charms before lunch followed with Flying with Gryffindor and Slytherin followed by Magical Theory," Harry added as both Delphi and Leo nodded there heads.
"And finally, on Fridays, we start with History of Magic with Hufflepuff and Slytherin, then a free period before lunch and then double Potions," Alex finished reading.
All four turned to Hagrid, "I think that as we have a free period," Leo said as Hagrid smiled down at him.
"So what do you want to know," Hagrid asked them.
Hogwarts Castle, Great Hall, Oroborus Table
Hagrid sat down on the overside Harry, Alex, Leo and Delphi, "So what do you do," Delphi asked the larger man.
Hagrid rubbed his beard as he looked down at her, "At this moment, I'm both the keeper of keys and the grounds keeper, but soon I'll be starting a class soon called Magizoology," Hagrid told them as the first years nodded, "It's going to be put in place so that you can know about all the creatures in the world and unlike Care for Magical Creatures, this call will teach about all the magical animals of the world, and it would allow me to own a dragon," Hagrid said as Leo looked at the man and could see a smile behind the beard.
Alex coked her head at the large man, "Don't you need a licence to do that," She asked as Hagrid nodded.
"That you do, little lady, but Dumbledor told me that next week I'm going to have a test to see if I can get a XXXXX Creature test," Hagrid told the students as they cocked their heads as looked at them and not seeing McGonagall behind him, "Now to take a XXXXX Creature test you must know how to handle a the genitals Flumph to the biggest Nundu, and what they are, what there rating is, what parts we use in potions and other things like that," Hagrid explained to him before looking at the two snakes.
Both Harry and Delphi's eyes followed his eyes down at the table before nodding their heads, "This is Mike, a Bladetailed Serpent," Delphi said as Mike looked at the man.
§ He's big,§ Mike said as Persephone looked at the snake beside her.
§Is that realy all you have to say,§ She asked him before rolling her eyes, §Males,§ She muttered.
Harry smiled at her, "And she is Persephone, an Albino Basilisk," Harry said to Hagrid as Delphi looked down at the white snakes.
"Harry, if you don't mind me asking, but why do you have one of the strongest and deadliest of magic animals with you," Leo asked as he looked at Persephone.
Harry slightly flinched at his words, "I made her so that she could protect me from my-," Harry was saying before just going quiet as Persephone slithered up his arm and moved to his shoulder to give him comfort.
Leo and the girls did not know what to say, and it was then they realised something.
Everyone in the house of Oroborus was broken, and each had their own thing or person that helped them cope.
Harry had Persephone.
Alex had Delphi.
Delphi had Mike.
But Harry had to wonder who or what did Leo have to cope.
It was then the Gryffindor Head of House decided to let her presence be known.
"Indeed," McGonagall said as Hagrid jumped and nearly toppled the table before he turned to see the Gryffindor Head of House, "With that being said, I had come over to inform you four that while the other Houses have a Quidditch team, you are three people short, and you would be unable to form one this year," She told the students as they looked at her.
Leo looked at both sisters and then Harry, "Uh, professor, I don't think that we would want to join a Quidditch team in our first year," Leo said to her as McGonagall looked at him.
She nodded at him, "That is true for some but for others," McGonagall said as she looked over to her Houses table with the five of Oroborus followed her eyes to Ron talking with his brothers as well as some of the other first years, "I just know that those two are going to do something that will give more grey hairs than both your fathers and godfather," She told them as McGonagall turned back to Harry and the others.
Alex looked at the Gryffindor Head of House, "How'd you know who my father is," She asked the woman.
"While your eyes are your grandmother's," McGonagall said as Alex nodded, "I can see the way you hold yourself, and the parts of your face are that of your father's mother," She added as Alex gained a small smile.
Delphi smiled at her sister, "Anyway, the next thing that you must know about is that while you have a free period, we would like students to learn other things to that they can better themselves," McGonagall said before pulling out a pocket watch, "I must be off so that I can read my first class," She told them as she left but not before she gave one last piece of information to Alex.
"The headmaster told me to provide you with this, and I have to say that I can make your hair colour permanent if you want," McGonagall said as she handed Alex a scroll before she walked out.
Hagrid pulled out his pocket watch before nodding, "I have to head off, so tomorrow will have another small talk, and then on Saturday, we can have a proper talk," Hagrid said as he got up and walked out the door.
Delphi looked over to Harry and asked, §Why did you need to make Persephone.§
Harry looked down, not saying anything as Persephone turned to her, § Harry's family is not the best as they hate him, and they would beat him until his bones break,§ The Basilisk said Delphi gasped.
Alex and Leo looked between Harry and Delphi, and it looked like Harry was trying to make himself smaller, § I'm so s-,§ Delphi was saying, but Harry shook his head.
§Please, I don't need that,§ Harry said to her as she looked back at him.
§How did you know how to make her,§ Delphi asked him as she looked back at Persephone, §I mean, you can look into her eyes and not be killed,§ Delphi said as Harry looked up at her.
§A few months ago, my uncle was sent to Brazil to make a deal with a company that was there,§ Harry said as Delphi nodded, §The woman that was in charge of the company wanted all of my uncle's family to be there, but when she found out that I lived with them she told him that I come as well or no deal,§ Harry explained to her as she cocked her head.
§Why would-,§ Delphi was saying before a cough cut her off, and she turned to her sister.
"Sis, would you mind letting me and Leo in on this conversation," Alex said as she indicated to herself and Leo.
"Oh, sorry, but," Delphi said as she looked at Harry, who nodded slightly at her and explained everything that had happened to Harry.
And it shocked them greatly because it would explain a lot as Delphi turned back to Harry, but this time continued what she was saying in English, "Why would this woman want his family there with him," She asked him.
Harry gained a slight smile on his face, "She wanted to know if he was someone that would do his job and not mess around," Harry told them as they nodded, "So when we were on a tour of the Amazon, a snake by the name of Lotis told me how to make Persephone as a protector from them," He added as the three others nodded.
"So that was why you're allowed to keep Persephone because she is here to protect you from your family," Leo asked as Harry nodded at him.
"So what happened to them," Alex asked as Harry looked at her, "I mean, you live with your godfather now, but do you know what happened to them," She asked him.
Harry nodded at her, "Yea, my uncle has been sent to Stormpits Prison for life, while my cousin is being sent to Blackford Juvenile Holding Center for a few years to help him fix his state of mind," Harry explained to them as the three nodded.
"And your aunt," Delphi asked him as Harry looked at her.
"From what Sirius had told me, while she has no magic can produce a chile that could have magic if a wizard is there," Harry started as the three nodded, "She has been bound to my bloodline," He told them before he stopped speaking.
Saying that shocked them, "What do you mean by she is bound to your bloodline, there are three types of ways to bind someone to a bloodline," Alex said as Leo nodded, "The first is the commonly known one that is used to adopt a child, and so you bind the child to your bloodline so that he or she could pass down your line," Alex said as Harry nodded.
"The second one is called the maid, and it is used to mind a servant to your family line, and the last one is called the mother," Leo said after Alex finished as Harry nodded once more, "And the woman is bound to your family line so that she can be used to birth new children of your family," He added as Harry nodded.
After getting the information, and as he now gained that part of knowledge and after everything that Sirius and Remus had told him, he turned to them, "I think it's Maid bidding binds her, but that I did not know at the moment," Harry said as the others nodded.
They started talking to each other as only three tables were left in the hall.
The House of Understanding, the house of Loyalty and the House of Bravery.
With only the first year Gryffindor while it was the second year Hufflepuff along with spottings of different students of varying years from third to seventh of the other four houses.
Alex and Leo talked with each other as Harry saw one of the lions look their way, "So we have plants and potions on our first day," Leo said as Alex nodded before she saw Harry.
"What is it," She asked him.
"Longbottom is looking our way, or to be more accurate to you and Delphi," Harry said as he looked at the boy.
Alex let out a sigh when Harry said that, "Yea, I know it because of our mom and how much of a bitch she is," Alex said as her sister nodded.
Delphi looked at Leo, who nodded, §You know what Alex's father is, right,§ Delphi asked him.
Seeing that Leo was nodding, Harry nodded, so Alex sighed once more, "I'm not like him as I somehow have control of the wolf side of me, but I am forced to transform on the full moon," Alex explained to Harry as he narrowed his eyes.
"So you not a," Harry asked in a whisper as Alex shook her head.
"Werewolf," She asked, with Harry nodding, "No, but I'm something new called a Lycan, and my children will have the same abilities when they are born," Alex said as Harry looked amazed.
"So, like me being able to tape into the thing that I can do this," Harry said as he used Static Electricity.
"Yea," Alex said as Leo and Delphi looked depressed as they turned to them, "What's the matter," Alex asked them.
"You and Harry have abilities that you can pass on to your children, like being a Lycan or whatever ability Harry has," Leo said, but another voice cut him off.
"So what you three doing," The voice said as they turned around to see Tonks approaching them.
Alex narrowed her eyes at Tonks, "And why should we tell you, cousin," Alex said as Tonks narrowed her eyes at her.
Delphi turned to her sister, "Alex, calm down; she's not like the rest of our family, and you know that," She told Alex as Mike moved over to her, "Think about it," She added as both Tonks and Harry looked confused as they looked at each other before back to the siblings.
"And if you add into the account that her mother and our aunt were kicked out of the Black family for falling in love with a muggle," Leo said as he sipped his tea.
"Was kicked out would be the correct words to use," Tonks said as she sat at their table as Alex sat down as well.
"What do you mean," Alex asked her.
"I got a letter this morning from my other that Sirius accepted me, my mother and my father into the Black family," Tonks explained to them as they nodded.
"So that was what Sirius was doing before we went to the platform," Harry thought before turning to Tonks, "So, if you don't mind me asking, what are you doing over here," Harry asked her.
Tonks looked at the sisters from the house of the dragon and bowed her head to them, "I'm sorry for what your mother has done to you as I did not know, and my mother is asking Sirius if he can use his power as Lord Black to get you away from her," Tonks told them as their eyes shot wide.
"Realy," Alex asked with a tiny hope in her voice.
Harry looked at the older of the two Lestrage with a small smile, "Like I asked you last night do you want me to send a letter to Remus so that he can get Sirius to work faster," Harry asked her.
Alex looked at him and then back at her cousin before looking down, "I don't know," She said as Leo looked at her.
"I think you should take the offer," He told her as Alex looked at him.
She then looked to her sister, who nodded, "Go for it, and as the next Lord Slytherin, Harry can get me away from her as well," Delphi said as Alex nodded.
She then turned to Harry and nodded, "Yes," Was all she said, and so, as if summoned, Hedwig flew down, and Harry started to write a letter before looking at the owl.
"Hedwig can you take this to Remus, please," Harry asked the owl as she looked at the letter and then nodded, "Thank you," Harry said as Hedwig moved a leg out for him to give the letter to her.
The snowy owl then flew off with the letter in her talons, and as the owl left Hogwarts, Alex felt relief surge to her system and a weight being removed from her shoulders.
Tonks then shook her head before looking at the first years, "Are you ready for your first lessons," Tonks asked them as they looked at her.
"Your only a year above up, you know," Leo said as she looked at Leo.
"But I still know more than you," Tonks told him as Leo rolled his eyes, "So what is your first lesson," She asked them.
"Our second period is Herbology, then we have launch followed by Potions," Harry told her.
"Oh, dame," She muttered.
"What's the matter," Harry asked her.
"You'll see," Tonks said to them.
The four looked at each other in confusion at what Tonks was telling them before Harry said, "Well, that's ominous."
The sisters nodded at him, "Indeed," Leo said.
Half an hour later, Greenhouse 1
Harry, Leo, Alex and Delphi made their way to their first lesson of the day.
Herbology.
As the four walked into the building, they found the professor there dealing with the plants that were in the greenhouse.
She was a squat little witch with short, grey, wavy hair who wore a patched and battered hat on her head with the rest of her clothes were noted too and looked covered in dirt and earth, and her fingernails were noted to be so filthy.
And she had the brightest smile on her face.
The four Oroborus students stood around a nest of both snakes and ravens, "Welcome to your first Herbology lesson of the year, and I'm Professor Sprout," the professor told them; the students nodded as Leo saw his brother roll his eyes, "Now before we go any further I going to do attendance so I would like people to call out either here or present or you can simply hold up a hand," Sprout called out as she holds up parchment.
"Amanda Anderson," Sprout called out as a brown-haired girl from Ravenclaw held up a hand, "Terry Boot," Sprout asked them.
"Here, professor," A brown-haired boy from Ravenclaw called out.
"Mandy Brocklehurst," Sprout called out as a black-haired Ravenclaw girl raised a hand, "Millicent Bulstrode," The professor asked.
"Here," A girl from Slytherin called out, and she had black-haired and a heavy, jutting jaw, and she had a large, square build that allowed her to physically intimidate smaller people and was bigger than most of the students that were there.
"Michael Corner," Sprout asked as a dark-haired boy raised a hand, "Vincent Crabbe," She called out.
One of Leo's brother's bodyguards was large and very fat, with a thick neck, gorilla-like arms and a flat nose, and wore a pudding bowl-style haircut, "Here," Crabbe said in a quiet voice.
"Tracey Davis," Sprout asked as a girl from Slytherin with short red hair raised a hand.
"I'm here, professor," Tracy called out as Sprout nodded at her.
"Anthony Goldstein," Sprout asked as a boy with short blond hair raised a hand, "Gregory Goyle," She asked as the other bodyguard of Leo's brother raised an arm.
He had small dull eyes, like Crabbe; he had long gorilla arms, short, bristly hair low on his forehead, and broad shoulders.
"Daphne Greengrass," Sprout asked as the girl with platinum blond hair from the sorting raised a hand, "Mauricius Higgs," She called out as a boy with brown hair that looked to have bad bed hair but not as messy as Harry's hair.
"Present," He called out.
"Peter Ivy," Sprout asked as a boy with short spiked blond hair raised a hand.
Sprout then looked at the next name on the list before she looked around, and Harry could spot that her eyes had fear, "Alexandra Lestrange," She asked as Alex sighed.
"Of course, it would because of my mom," Alex thought sadly before calling out, "Here," She said as Sprout looked over to her.
And Sprout saw something that she did not expect.
Sadness.
Sprout said nothing but called out the next name, "Delphini Lestrange."
Delphi raised a hand as Mike looked up, "Here," She said as Mike hissed as Sprout looked at the snakes there.
"Can you and Mister Potter make sure that they both do not try to bite anyone," Sprout asked Delphi as she and Harry looked down at their snakes.
§Mike you heard her,§ Delphi said as Mike nodded.
And what shocked people more than Harry with a snake was that he spoke the language of serpents, §Persephone, I know you would not, but,§ Harry said as the young Basilisk looked at him.
§If they try something, then I will bite, but only if they try something, § Persephone said to Harry as she took in the warmth of the greenhouse.
Delphi and Harry told Sprout that Persephone and Mike would not do anything.
She nodded to them, "Now, back to attendance, Sui Li," Sprout asked.
A girl of Chinese descent dressed in Ravenclaw colours called out, "Present."
"Draco Malfoy," Sprout called out as Leo's twin raised a hand, "Leonidas Malfoy," The professor said.
"Here, professor," Leo said as he stood beside Harry.
"Theodore Nott," Sprout called out as a boy with tall, thin, and perhaps weakly built raised a hand, "Pike Oldham," She asked as another boy raised a hand.
Pike was also lanky but with short brown hair.
"Andrew Outerbridge," Spout called out as another Slytherin raised a hand; he had blond hair styled back, "Pansy Parkinson," The professor asked.
A girl with short dark brown hair dressed in a Slytherin uniform called, "Here."
"Joe Paffle," Spout called out as a boy with long black hair tied back raised a hand, "Padma Patil," She said as one of the Indian twins from the sorting raised a hand.
"Here," Padma said as she stood by Parkinson, but it looked like she did not want to stand by her.
Professor Sprout looked at the next name on the list, "Harry Potter," She asked.
Everyone turned to him as Persephone started looking around, making sure not to look into the eyes of anyone, "H-here, professor," Harry said, as he did not like the eyes on him.
Leo seeing his new friend shrinking in on himself, called out, "Hey, eyes to the professor," He told them with a fierce glare as they turned back to Professor Sprout.
Sprout, seeing this, also called out, "Sally Smith," She called out.
"Thanks," Harry said to Leo, who gained a small smile.
A girl with long brown hair tied back in a braided ponytail called out, "Here," She said as Leo turned to Harry.
"It's alright," Leo said as he slightly turned his head to Harry, "What are friends for," Leo told him as Harry smiled back.
"William Townend," Sprout called out as she reached the end of the students, and Harry could see that only two students were left.
And they both were Slytherin.
A boy with black hair raised an arm, "I'm here, professor," He told the Hufflepuff Head of House, "And Blaise Zabini," Sprout called out.
A dark-skinned boy raised a hand, "I'm here, professor," The now identified Blaise said to Sprout.
She nodded before putting the parchment down and looked at everyone with a large smile, "It looks like everyone is here, so now for those that have only been introduced to the magical world and wondering what this class is about," Sprout said as she moved an arm around to indicate to the plenty of plants that were in the greenhouse, "Many Potions that we both use and make," Sprout told them as students nodded as Draco rolled his eyes at the professor.
"But in these lessons, we will not only be caring for plants of many different types but some spells that have to be used on some plants," Sprout was saying before she pulled out a small leaf, "Then you have this, can anyone tell me what this leaf is," She asked as she held up the leaf for everyone to see.
Leo raised his hand as Sprout pointed at him, "An Oxygen Leaf, ma'am," Leo said as the professor nodded, "It can be used underwater to give people a few minutes underwater with fresh air," Leo added.
"Well done, mister Malfoy, and take 11 points to your house," Sprout told him as Alex gave him a thumbs up.
Sprout then lifted many leaves and pointed at the plants as people answered many questions until the lesson was over, and they all made their way to the Great Hall for launch.
Half an hour later, The Great Hall
In the Great Hall, all the students gathered to have food, and on the table that belonged to the house of understanding, Harry sat next to Leo while across from him was Alex and across from Leo was Delphi.
"So, what did you guys think of the lessons so far," Harry asked as he started to eat some meat.
Delphi looked at him with a raised brow, "We only had Herbology so far, but it was good," She told him as Harry nodded, "And after lunch, we have potions," She told Harry as Alex looked over to the hourglasses.
So far, Ravenclaw has one hundred and twenty five points, Hufflepuff has one hundred points, and Gryffindor has one hundred points, with Slytherin pulling up fourth with nighty points, and then she saw their house.
And finally, there was Oroborus with thirty four points.
"Well, we're doing well with earning points so far with the points we've earned," Alex said as Leo nodded.
"Yep, and if we keep this up for the rest of our first year, we could get around five to six hundred points, that is, if we keep doing as well as we are doing," Leo said before Harry sighed at him.
"Now that you said that something is going to happen that will make us lose a lot of points," Harry said as Leo turned to him.
"What do you mean," Leo asked him.
Alex turned to the Malfoy with a raised brow, "What he means is that you are tickling the nose hairs of fate by saying those words," She said as Leo sighed.
"I think you may be right, but what could happen," He asked them as they looked at him.
What he did not know was that his eyes had turned silver, "A teacher being possessed and attacking unicorns, a monster attacking students, the ministry calling their demons to watch over the school, a death tournament, the toad of the ministry, the return of you-know-who or something," Leo said as the three others looked to him in wonder.
Delphi looked at him as a spoon full of mashed potato almost in her mouth, "Why those pacific options," She asked him.
"Let's not forget to add that something could happen on Halloween, like a troll or something entering the castle," Leo added, and when Harry looked at him, he saw that Leo's eyes had turned cloudy silver for a while.
"I think you just found your ability," Harry said as the girls turned to him and Leo.
"What do you mean," Leo asked him.
Harry smiled as he pointed at Leo's eyes, "When you were talking about the future, just know you looked into the future as your eyes turned pure silver," Harry told him.
Leo's eyes shot wide as he looked at Harry, "Are you telling me that I'm a seer," He asked Harry, but Harry shook his head.
"Can you remember what you just said," Harry asked Leo, who nodded, "Then you are not the seeker, but from what I think is that while seers look to the future and bring forth a prophecy, you can look thou the border of time," Harry told him as Delphi looked at Harry in confusion.
"What do you mean," She asked him.
"From what Sirius told me when I learnt about my ability to do whatever the hell I can, we looked thou books and found out about the borders of time," Harry said as the girls nodded, "And they are what seers look thou, but they are not able to look properly thou them, and that is what makes a prophecy," Harry said as the others nodded at him.
"So are you thinking that Leo can see thou the borders of time properly," Alex asked him as Harry nodded.
Delphi sighed, "So if you're right, then on a Halloween, a troll is going to enter the castle," She said as she looked at Leo.
"That is saying that he does have that ability, so and," Alex told her sister before looking at Harry, "Do you need help with coming up with a name for your ability," She asked Harry, who scratched the back of his neck.
"I already have one, but it's kind of stupid as the name is something I took from popular muggle media," Harry said as Alex nodded.
"What it's called," Leo asked him.
"I'll call it the power of the Arcane," Harry said as the others nodded.
"I have to say that it sounds like a cool name," Alex said, with Mike nodding.
§Kind of plain thou,§ He said as Persephone looked at the Bladetail Serpen.
§Oh really,§ Persephone said as Mike turned to look at her, §And what would you call it,§ She asked him as Mike turned to her.
§Elemental,§ Mike said, but Persephone shook her head.
§Harry can do more than make lighting over his body, § She said as Delphi turned to Harry.
"You can do more than make lighting over your body," She asked as Leo and Alex turned to Harry.
"What does she mean," They asked as Harry looked down at Persephone.
§Did you really have to tell him that,§ Harry asked his snake.
§Yes,§ Persephone said with a nod.
"So what else can you do," Alex asked him.
Harry let out a small sigh before he breathed out.
And air did not come out.
A bubble did.
"I can make these bubbles," Harry said as the bubble floated in the air for a while; it landed on the table, "I can blow air into it to make it bigger," He told them.
"How much bigger," Leo asked him.
Harry shrugged, "I don't know, as every time both me and Remus try to test this, it keeps getting bigger and bigger, and we just don't know," He told them as they nodded at him.
"Then I can do this," Harry said as he held up a finger and a tiny bit of fire formed above it.
"What do you call them spells," Leo asked him.
"That bubble spell is called Elastic Bubbles, and this fire spell is called Candle Fire," Harry told them.
Teachers Table
"It seems by the looks of it that mister Potter has a strong grasp on magic itself," The shortest professor said as he looked at the first year.
"Yes, I have talked with his godfather about it, and he told me that mister Potter has more access to his magical core, much more than your average witch or wizard," Dumbledore said as he ate.
Sprout raised a brow at him, "What do you mean, Albus," She asked him.
"You see, normal wizards and witches need a want to focus our magic thou the use of spells and the patterns that we make to use spells," Dumbledor told them as the teachers nodded, "But then you have him with the way that his magical core is and how it will grow, he will soon no longer need a wand," The headmaster told them as they looked at each other.
"How is that possible, all magic needs a wand," The head of Slytherin said.
"Realy, so you use your wand when making a potion, Severus," Dumbledore said as the man shook his head, "What about when Minerva transforms into her cat form," The older wizard asked, getting a shake of his head once more.
Realisation soon dawned on them by what the headmaster was telling them.
"You see, what mister Potter can tap into is the higher form of magic that is above what we can do with our wants," Dumbledore said as McGonagall looked at him.
"But how can he access it," She asked him, but the elderly wizard shook his head.
"I do not know," He told her as she narrowed her eyes, "But I do have a theory," Dumbledore said; the others looked at each other before turning to him.
"And what is that professor," Hagrid asked as he worried for his student.
Seeing the worry on Hagirds face, Dumbledore shook his head, "Oh, it's nothing like that, my dear friend, you see he has all twelve magical elements around him," He told them as they looked at him in confusion, "His Firehawk, Ra, has the elements of fire, light and wind, and his Basilisk, Persephone, has the elements of water, earth, darkness, wood and steel," Dumbledore told them as they nodded there heads, "His owl, Hedwig I believe her name has the elements of ice and being an owl she has both elements of life and death," Dumbledor added, but the Slytherin Head of House narrowed his eyes.
"That is only eleven elements; what about lighting," He asked him but saw the smile on the older man's face.
"What is the mark on his head in the shape of," Dumbledore said as people's eyes shot wide, "Indeed, the killing curse is both aligned with lighting and death," He told them.
"What does this mean," Sprout asked as they looked at him, but Dumbledore only smiled.
"Teach him like you would any other student of this school, but I do not think that mister Potter is going to leave behind the less we all will teach him with a wand," The headmaster told them.
"So he will use what we teach him," Sprout asked as she looked at the students of the fifth house of Hogwarts.
Back with Harry and the Others
Leo looked at Harry to see if he was lying to him, "So let me get this straight you can access the higher form of magic, and you are calling it the arcane," Leo said as Harry nodded.
"Yes," Harry said.
Leo turned to Alex, "Then we have you, who has all the good points of a werewolf but none of the bad," He said to her as she nodded.
"Yes, but I am forced to change to my wolf form on the full moon nights," Alex said, but Leo waved it away.
"And then there is me, and we think that I am somehow able to look thou the borders of time to look to the future," Leo said as Harry nodded before Leo gained a look of thought, "Do you think that I can look into the past," He asked them as Harry and Alex looked at each other and started to have a silent conversation.
They were the ones to break down his ability initially.
"I think so," Harry said as Alex started eating some more food, "But we can test this on Saturday if you want," Harry said as Leo nodded.
Leo then sighed, "And then I think I know what I have to learn during our third year," Leo said as the others looked at him, "I'm going to have to learn divination so that I can know better about the borders," He said as Harry gained a look in his eye.
"Leo, I want to do a test if you are up for it," Harry said as Leo looked to Harry and nodded slightly, "I want you to focus on me and see if you can see what me, Remus and Sirius were doing the other day," Harry said as Leo looked at him and the girls saw that his eyes turned silver.
"You were watching something that went by the name Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze," Leo said as he looked shocked at what he was saying.
"Dose that answers your question if you can look into the past as well," Harry told him as he started to eat dessert.
"Your right," Leo said with a smile.
Delphi looked happy for Leo and thought, "I wonder what I'll be able to do."
Ten Minutes Later, Hogwarts Dungeons, Potions Room
Harry, Leo, Alex and Delphi headed down to and, like Sprout, the teacher, who Leo had told Harry was his Godfather Snape.
Harry looked around their room, and they found Snape there waiting for them; they all got to their seats and pulled out their book before the professor started to go thou attendance until he reached Harry's name.
"Ah, Yes," he said softly, "Harry Potter, our new - celebrity."
"Here, sir," Harry said as the man looked at him before he continued with the attendance.
Once he was finished, he looked around the room, "Now you are here to learn the subtle science and exact art of potion making," he began.
He spoke barely more than a whisper, but they caught every word.
It was a lot like Professor McGonagall; Snape had the gift of keeping a class silent without effort.
"As there is little foolish wand-waving here, many of you will hardly believe this is magic; I expect you will need to understand the beauty of the softly simmering cauldron with its shimmering fumes, the delicate power of liquids that creep through human veins, bewitching the mind, ensnaring the senses... I can teach you how to bottle fame, brew glory, even stopper death - if you aren't as big a bunch of dunderheads as I usually have to teach."
More silence followed this little speech.
Harry and Leo exchanged looks with raised eyebrows.
And some students were on the edge of their seats and looked desperate to prove they weren't dunderheads.
And Harry was one of them
"Potter!" said Snape suddenly.
"What would I get if I added powdered root of asphodel to an infusion of wormwood?"
Harry cocked his head as he thought back to the books he had read, "I think that it makes a sleeping potion called the Draught of Living Death," Harry said with a confused look.
Snape looks at Harry with a nod, "That's correct, well done; I have a few more questions for you," He told Harry as the first year nodded, "Can you tell me where you would look if I told you to find me a bezoar, and can you tell me what it can be used for," He asked Harry.
He then narrowed his eyes as he tried to recall his books, "In the stomach of a goat, and it can be used to cure most poisons," Harry said as the professor nodded his head.
"So he may have the looks of Potter, he has the mind of Lily, but I can only know that with one final question," Snape thought as he looked at Harry, "And finally, what is the difference, Potter, between monkshood and wolfsbane," He asked Harry.
"There is no difference between the two of them," Harry said as the man nodded, but Harry was not done speaking, "They are the same plant, which also goes by the name of Aconite," Harry said as the man nodded his head.
"So he's more like the mother and the father," Snape thought as he looked at the student, "Well done, 9 points to Oroborus," Snape said before looking at the next name he was going to call out.
"Ivy, can you tell what this potion ingredient is," The professor asked as he held up a vail of a scarlet red liquid; a Hufflepuff looked at the vail before he shook his head.
"All I can get, sir is that it's a type of blood," Ivy said as Snape nodded.
"You are right in guessing that it is blood, and this is taken from a Fire Dwelling Salamander," Snape informed the student, "Now what about this," Snape asked as he held up a flower with silver leaves.
"That's Moondew, professor," Ivy said as Snape nodded.
"Well done now, then one last question what is this," Snape asked once more to Ivy as he held up a vial of a green slim.
"I think it's Flobberworm Mucus," Ivy said as Snape nodded at him.
"Well, made 4 points to Hufflepuff," Snape said as he continued to ask the students different questions about ingredients or potions that were there, and he awarded a further 12 points to Oroborus.
It looked like it was good for Harry and the others.
Ten Minutes Later, Third-floor, Defense Against the Dark Arts Class Room
That was until Harry entered the room, and when the teacher, Professor Quirrell, had his back to the class, Harry felt a burning pain on his scar.
Like it was a burning fire poker just getting pushed into his scar.
But when the man turned back to the students, the pain would fade, and Harry could hide his pain from most students.
But the one person that saw thou was Alex, who was used to pain herself.
"Whenever the professor turns his back to Harry, he feels pain, but how is that happening," Alex asked in her head with narrowed eyes.
But by the end of the lesson, Oroborus had earned 15 extra points.
Late At Night, Oroborus Common Room
Harry and the others walked into their common room Alex looked at Harry, "Hey Harry, are you alright," She asked him as Harry turned to her.
"Yea, why," He asked her.
"Well, back in defence, every so often, you looked like you were in pain," She said to him as Harry nodded.
Harry nodded at her as she looked at him, "Yea, but it's only when Professor Quirrell has his back to me and not the other way around and with a clear line of sight as well," Harry told her.
Leo looked over at him from where he was sitting, "What do you think is hurting you," He asked.
Harry cocked his head as Persephone moved to the floor, "I think that it maybe from when the one that gave me the scar tried going for the job," Harry said as they looked at him, "Dumbledore told both me and Amelia Bones this when I was getting treated by some Healers," Harry told them as they nodded.
"So what happened with him, I mean," Delphi asked as she walked over.
Harry looked at her as he joined them on the sofa, with Alex going for a lounge chair, "Well, when he went by the name Tom Riddle he interviewed for the job, but Dumbledor did not like how he was during the interview, and when Tom told Dumbledor that no one would believe him when he said that Tom was the reason the girl died in Hogwarts and not Hagrid," Harry said as the others nodded.
Delphi kelp her face calm, but her eyes shot great sadness, "So that is the type of man my father is," She thought as she thought back to the large man that was their Head of House, "The ty[pe that would happily push the blame on someone else," Delphi thought as everything that her mother had told her was finally losing its hold on her.
Harry saw the sadness in her eyes but continued, "But when he was leaving, he cursed the position so that no one teacher would last an entire year," Harry told them as they nodded.
"So you think that the curse, you-know," Alex said before she shook her head, "Tom left behind is affecting you when you are in the classroom," She corrected what she was saying to him.
"I think so, as he's dead right," Harry asked as the girls nodded, but Leo did not look convinced.
The three turned to him as Delphi looked at him, "Leo," She asked him.
"From what we were told of that night, you, Harry, somehow became immune to the Killing Curse, and it somehow killed him," Leo said as they nodded at him, "But then, when people asked to see the body, they only showed robes and a wand," Leo said as the girls looked at him.
"So you think that he's out there," Alex asked him with fear in her eyes.
Leo said nothing but then looked at Harry, "How long do you think that it would take me to look that far back in time to see what happened that night," Leo asked him.
"We first need to know your limit right now," Harry said as Leo nodded, and at that moment, he started to focus on Harry as his eyes turned silver again.
He stayed like that for ten minutes before his eyes turned to normal, "I can only see a month back," Leo told them as he rubbed his temple, "Could do without the headache, thou," He muttered.
Not long after that, they all went to bed.
The Next Day, The Great Hall
Harry, Leo, Alex and Delphi walked into the Great Hall for breakfast; as the four sat down for their food, Tonks walked over, joined them, and started eating with them; she sat next to Harry while Leo, Alex and Delphi sat on the other side.
Alex looked at her with a raised brow, "What are you doing over here," She asked her cousin.
Tonks rolled her eyes, but she shot a look to her house table, "Ever since you two joined Hogwarts, I've been hearing the same thing day after day," Tonks told them as she pointed at both Alex and Delphi.
The sisters looked at each other before looking back at the second year, "What are they saying," Delphi asked her as Tonks looked at the younger sister.
"That we three are the new generation of the black sisters, but this time I will follow the other members of the black family," Tonks said as Leo looked down.
"Dame," He said as Harry looked confused, "Our mothers meaning mine, Tonks's and the girls, are sisters, as we told you on the train, but they were powerful witches that matched your mother in their power," Leo told Harry.
"And then some as mother told me that while Lily Potter was a muggle-born, she had the power of a pureblood, and she did not like that," Delphi said as Alex rolled her eyes.
"Of course she did," Alex muttered before turning back to Tonks, "But don't they know that your mom was kicked out of the Black family," She asked the older girl.
Tonks shook her head before the five descended into talks as both the snakes ate food, and for some reason, Tonks started to smooth Persephone.
Delphi looked down and saw that Harry was doing the same, but neither Harry nor Tonks knew what they were doing, "So when's the wedding," She asked the two of them as they looked at her in question; she pointed at Persephone.
Harry looked down and saw that his hand was near Tonks's and blushed bright red as Tonks started to laugh and looked over to Delphi, "What, you jealous," Tonks asked Delphi, who blushed almost as red as Harry.
Half An Hour Later, Third floor, Classroom 2E
Harry and the rest of the students sat in a room with the shortest professor that was working in Hogwarts, and he was dressed in a suit with a shot tail coat, "Hello all, for those that do not know me, I am Professor Flitwick, and I would like to welcome you all to this Charms class," He told them all as people looked at him, "And today we shall be learning the Unlocking Charm, Alohomora," He told them.
He then pulled out his wand, "Now, this is one of the very best spells when a wizard or witch forgets his or her keys," Professor Flitwick told them as they looked at him, "Now that I think of it, with Alohomora, why would a wizard or witch even need keys," He muttered as people laughed at him.
"But alas, that is a discussion for another day, I suppose," He said as people nodded at him, "Wands up, everyone," He told the class as they did as he asked.
He then waved his wand as a book soon turned into a door; he then waved his wand once more, "Now then follow my wand's movement", He told them as use moved his wand in an 'S' shape and called out, "Alohomora," before his wand gave off a yellow light.
As the door opened, "Now then, I would like everyone to come down here so that everyone can try to use this spell," Professor Flitwick told them all as people started to walk down to the front of the class.
Everyone started to use the spells, with some people managing to do it as well, and each person earned 11 points for their house.
Two students from Ravenclaw had done the spell; all members of Oroborus managed to do the spell, while only five students of Slytherin had done so as well.
"Well done, all of you that have managed to do this spell I would like you all to practice this spell for your homework, but those that have done this spell, I would like you all to look up the locking spell and what wand movement is needed for it to be useful," Professor Flitwick told them as people nodded, "Now then as we still have a long time before we have to finish can anyone tell me what would you all like to know about the types of charms or something else," Professor Flitwick asked the students.
Half An Hour Later, First Floor, Classroom 9F
All the students were sitting in a classroom with a tall man with tanned skin and dark eyes with waist-length black hair typically styled in a centre-parted fringe that framed his face; he was dressed in a dark suit with a maroon cloak flowing behind him.
"Hello, everyone," The professor told them as all the first years looked at the man, "I am Professor Zang," He told them as they looked at him in wonder.
He was smiling at them with a broad smile and looked to have a scar over his left eye that looked in the shape of an 'X'.
"I would like to welcome you all to Magical Theory," Professor Zang told them as no one knew what to say, "I bet all of you were wondering what this call is for," He asked the students as everyone nodded at him.
"In this call, you all will study the nature of magic," He told them as they looked confused by what he was saying, "And you all will be studying how spells exactly work, what makes a spell work, and what is need to make spells," Professor Zang told them as everyone nodded.
He tapped the blackboard he was by, "Now then, I would like someone to answer this question why do people need wands to use spells," Professor Zang asked them.
A few students raised their hands, but the professor picked Harry, "Mister Potter," Professor Zang asked Harry.
"Wands used to be a focus for our magic," Harry said as Professor Zang nodded.
"Well done, Mister Potter," He told Harry before Professor Zang pointed at the blackboard; it held twelve symbols on the board.
"Now then can anyone tell me what the twelve different magical elements are," Professor Zang asked them but saw that Leo was the only one to raise a hand, "Mister Malfoy," Professor Zang asked him.
"The elements are fire, water, earth, wind, lightning, light, dark, wood, ice, and steel are the physical element," Leo said as Professor Zang nodded at him, "While life and death are the paranormal elements," He added.
"Well done, Mister Malfoy," Professor Zang said before handing out a piece of paper, "Now, on this paper, we have the symbols of the ten elements, and I would like you all to put the element name to the symbol," Professor Zang told them as they started to fill out the paper.
The Next Day, Late At Night, Astronomy Tower
The professor had told all of the students to follow them to one of the large towers that Hogwarts had, and all the students had started to carry their telescopes with them as they set them up on top of the tower; then the professor started pointing at the stars and then asking questions on what the constellations were that they were looking at, and if they got it right, they would get five points.
The professor in question was a woman with dark skin dressed in olive robes and a pointed hat spangled with astrological signs.
"Can anyone tell me the name of the whale constellation," The professor asked them as the students raised their hands.
She looked thou the students, "Miss Granger," She asked the bushy-haired girl.
"Cetus, ma'am," Hermione said as the professor nodded at her.
"Well done, take 5 points," She told Hermione before cycling thou the question in her head, "Now, can someone name the water snake constellation," The professor asked them.
Hands were raised once more as she pointed at a Ravenclaw this time, "Hydrus," The student said as the professor nodded.
"You may have 5 points for your house as well, not then; what is the name of the constellation that goes by the name of Vela," The professor asked them as they looked at each other, and Harry raised a hand.
"Yes, Mister Potter," She asked him.
"The Sail of Argo, ma'am," Harry said as she nodded to him.
"5 points to you," She told Harry as the boy nodded.
And they continued as they all answered the questions they were asked before she told them that the lesson was over and had sent them on their way.
Harry, Leo, Alex and Delphi picked up their telescopes and started to head down the stairs until they reached the sixth floor and; then walked down the hallway until they arrived outside their common room door before Alex walked up to the door and said, "Winged Serpent."
Once the door had rotated and swung open as they all walked into the common room as Harry went over to one of the sofas and pulled out a book named The Tale of The Wolf and The Moon with words that could be made as the great storm.
As Harry read, Alex and Delphi pulled out a book of her own, and it was a book on Quidditch Leo had gone into the dulling room and sat on the floor with crossed legs as he tried to look further back in time.
"So what do you think about when students join us next year," Alex asked as both Harry and her sister looked over to her, "I mean that we will need to be prefects of this house, but we need to do a lot of things," Alex said as Harry put his book down.
Delphi nodded with her sister as Harry rubbed his chin, "So what you thinking," Harry asked her.
Alex looked in thought, "Well, we can ask about the other house have a sort of hierarchy within them," Alex said as both Harry and Delphi nodded, "With the Slytherin, it's a who's daddy or mommy has the biggest amount of money that they can use," Alex said as Harry shook his head.
"No, while we may have cunning but we are not them," Harry told her as both serpents nodded, "And let's not forget that all three of us are from wealthy families, but with me being from the last of the Potters and heir Black I cannot access the main family vault until I reach seventeen," Harry said as the girls nodded.
"My dear brother Draco is the heir of the Malfoy family," Leo yelled over to the three of them from the training room.
"And I am the soul heiress of the Lestrange family, so I'm in the same boat as Harry," Delphi said as Harry looked over at her.
"I thought your mother married into the family, so how are you the heiress," Harry asked her as Alex looked a bit happy.
"Rodolphus Lestrange was killed by our mother when she was pregnant with me, and so she took over the Lestrange family from him," Alex said as Harry nodded at her.
"Oh," Harry said as Alex nodded.
"So that means no Slytherin; what about Ravenclaw," Delphi asked as Harry closed his eyes.
"I don't think that you can go for that one," The voice of Gwenifer Gryffindor said as the four turned to her.
"Why is that," Alex asked her.
"Ravenclaw is about who can speak the loudest and is seemingly the wisest," Gwenifer said as she floated over to Harry and looked at the book that he was reading, "Well, that is what thou of Ravenclaw want people to think," Gwenifer said as she read.
"Then there, the Gryffindor hierarchy is the one that does the most stupid things and does not get in trouble for it," Alex said as their House Ghost nodded.
"That is oh so true," Gwenifer said before looking at Harry, "This is a good book," She told Harry as he nodded.
"Yes, this is the second book in the series," Harry said as the Dragoness of Steel, "I'll buy some more copies but put them on the bookshelf so that you can read them," Harry told her as she nodded.
"I would enjoy that," She told Harry before she looked around, "And the Hufflepuff hierarchy is one of the ones that can be seen as to bring the house to the highest point," Gwenifer told them as they nodded.
Harry handed his book to Gwenifer, who was flipping thou it as Harry rubbed his chin, "I have an idea about Oroborus hierarchy," He told them as Alex looked over to him.
"Like what," She asked him.
"Well, if we think like dragons and the strongest leads them," Harry said as the girls nodded, "So I was thinking that maybe we could do small duels to find the person that will be the one that is in charge of that year," Harry told them.
"What do you mean," Leo asked Harry as he joined them and sat on a sofa.
"Well, next year, we four will have a duel so that one of us can lead the second years," Harry said as Alex looked over to him.
"And first years can do the same, so that person is in charge of the first years, and he or she is the one that makes sure that everyone is where they are needed to be at the right time," Alex said as Harry nodded and Leo and Delphi both looked surprised by what they were saying.
"How will we ensure they don't hurt themselves," Leo asked them.
"I could act as a judge when these battles are going on, and we can do it by those that wand to show that they want to lead," Gwenifer said as she turned a page.
Leo looked at her with a nod, "That could work, and just to let you guys know, I added three seconds to looking back in time, and I hate the world," Leo said as his headache slowly faded.
Persephone and Mike looked up to the humans before turning to the ghost, §Any luck finding the chamber,§ Persephone asked the ghost, with Delphi translating for the Basilisk.
"I have not, but I have asked the other ghosts, and they did not know, but I know that it's somewhere on the first or second floor," Gwenifer said as they looked at her, "I will continue my search when you four go to bed," She told them before Harry looked down at his watch.
"We have half an hour before we have to head to bed," He told them as they nodded; he then turned to Gwenifer, "Are you liking the book," Harry asked her.
"Yes, it has a good story with well-flushed-out charioteers, but as this is the second book, I would like to know bout the first one," She told Harry.
The Next Day, First Floor, Classroom 1B
All the students were sitting in a large classroom as they sat around waiting for their teacher to turn up, but all that was in the classroom, besides the students, was a greying tabby house cat sitting on the desk.
After a while, everyone was in their seats, the tabby cat jumped off the desk and started to shift forms; when it was mid-air, it turned into Professor McGonagall.
All the students looked at her, wondering what she had just done, "Hello all, welcome to your first Transfiguration lesson of the year," McGonagall told them as they looked at her.
She looked them over as she continued speaking, "Transfiguration is some of the most complex and dangerous magic you will learn at Hogwarts," She told them as Harry took the information in, "Now then, if I catch anyone messing around in my class you will leave and you will not come back; You have been warned," She told the class as a student raised a hand.
She nodded at them, "How did you do that, professor," They asked her.
"My turning from animal to human," She asked them as they nodded at her, "I am what is known as an Animagus, and I can turn into my animal form, which is the form of a tabby house cat," McGonagall told them as they nodded.
"Now then, I'm going to have you all start small," She told them as they people got ready, "I want you all to pull out your wants, and today you will be turning matches into needles to see, and I will let me know who will need more help and those that can help me in class," McGonagall said as she seeing people started to get ready.
She then taped the blackboard as righting formed on it, "But before we start today with you all, write this out as you will need this for my class," She told them all.
Everyone pulled out their parchment and a quill before the sound of scraping filled the classroom as McGonagall walked around the room, looking at everyone there before she stepped from student to student.
She would occasionally correct something that someone had written, but once it was done, it had only taken twenty minutes, "I have to say that all of you completed this faster than my other class did," McGonagall told them, and pride swelled within the class, "Now then it's time to see if you can turn a match into a needle," She said as she started to walk thou the students once more and handed them a match each.
Once she was done handing them out, Professor McGonagall walked back to the front of the classroom, "Now watch my wand movement and how I pronounce the spell," She told them as she said the incantation of the spell.
And once the spell was done, the match that was on her desk had turned silver and had become pointed at one end, "Now that you have seen me do this, I would like you all to try and perform this spell to the best of your ability," Professor McGonagall told them all.
Harry looked down at the match as Persephone looked at it, then at Harry, §Harry take a breath, § She told him as Harry looked down at her but did as she said, §Now close your eyes,§ Persephone added.
He took in a deep breath, and he then let it out, and he felt worry that he did not know was there dissipate from him as he took another deep breath and let it out once more, §Now you may use the spell, § Persephone told as Harry pointed his wand at the match as said the incantation.
Or he thought he did, but he just said the incantation in his mind as he thought of the match turning into a needle.
And he was not the only one has seen him, so Professor McGonagall looked amazed at him, as did Leo, who was sat next to him, "Well done, Mister Potter, you have done very well and is the first one to do this so take 15 points to your house," She told him as Harry nodded, "And take another 5 points for doing it silently," She added as Harry looked shocked.
He then turned to Leo, who looked at him with a raised brow, "I take it by the look on your face you did not know that you said the incantation silently," Leo asked him as Harry nodded, "So want to help a fellow dragon out," He asked him.
Harry nodded as he looked at Leo and then down at the match, "What do you picture when you use the spell," Harry asked him.
"Picture," He asked him.
"From what Sirius told me, Transfiguration is all about the picture that you make in your mind's eye, and that helps the magic know what you wanted it to do," Harry told him as he did not know people were listening to him and doing what he had said.
Leo looked down at the match, formed the picture in his mind and then said the incantation, and with that, the match turned into a needle.
"Well done, Mister Malfoy, take 5 points for following the advice, and Mister Potter, take another 10 points for giving out clear advise that even I over looked," Professor McGonagall told them as they looked at each other before going over to a Ravenclaw student, "And I want everyone to write down what Mister Potter had said about forming a picture in your mind," She told her students as they all nodded at her and wrote it down.
"Professor is it alright if I can help some people as well," Harry asked as Leo nodded.
She turned back to him with her signature straight face as she thought, "So Severus was right; he is a good mix of the two of them."
She then nodded at Harry, "You may, Mister Potter," She told him before Harry walked over to some students.
Half an Hour Later, Hogwarts Courtyard
Harry and the others were waiting with the Gryffindor and Slytherin's first years as they waited for their teacher to turn up, with Harry and Delphi standing on the Slytherin side while Leo and Alex were standing with the Gryffindor.
And both Harry and Delphi could hear Leo's brother growling that his brother was standing with the lions.
And then the teacher walked up to them, and she was a tall woman with short spiked grey hair with eyes that looked like they should be from a bird, not a human and was dressed in a white button-down collared shirt and black necktie with what looked to be the Hogwarts crest a long black cloak.
"Good afternoon, class," She told them as she walked between the two lines of students.
"Good afternoon, class, Madam Hooch," Everyone called out.
After looking over some of the students she nodded to when she reached them, she turned around to look at them all, "Welcome to your first flying lesson," Madam Hooch told them as they looked at her.
"Now then, I want everyone to step up to the left side of your broomstick," Madam Hooch told them as the students walked up.
Once seeing that everyone had followed that order, she held out her right arm, "Now hold your right hand over the broom and say up," She told them.
"Up," Harry said, and the broomstick shot up into his hand for the first time.
Leo was the same, but Alex and Delphi were struggling as Hermione looked at them in shock at some people getting the first time.
Crys of 'Up' was said thou the as Ma'am Hooch told them, "With feeling," but the brooms were just rolling around on the floor from each person calling out 'Up'.
"UP," Ron told his broom before hit shot up.
But not in his hand.
No.
It went past his hand and into his face as people laughed and giggled at him as he looked at the boy next to him, "Shut up, Seamus," Ron told him.
It took them around twenty minutes until everyone had gotten the broom to fly up into their open hand, but Harry could see that certain things were happening around him.
Hermione looked like she was trying to calm her nerves.
The same could be said for Neville.
Tracy was taking a deep breath.
Daphne was looking around her, and she was doing something that Harry was doing and looking at what the other students were doing.
Delphi was looking over the broom that was in her hand.
Alex looked bored beyond all belief.
Leo looked ready, although a bit tired, and his eyes kept darting to Neville.
"What's going to happen," Harry whispered to him.
"Longbottom's broom is going to act all on its own," Leo said as Harry readied to use his bubbles on him.
But he did not know that they were going to work.
"Now that you've got a hold of your broom, I want you to mount it," Madam Hooch told them as she walked down the middle of the two lines once more as looked at the students.
Madam Hooch then showed them how to mount their brooms without sliding off the end and walked up and down the rows correcting their grips.
"Father already taught me how to mount a broom," Draco said as Leo rolled his eyes at his twin.
Madam Hooch looked at him before shaking her head, "Then he taught you wrong," She told him as she corrected his grip.
Harry and Leo were delighted when she told Malfoy he'd been doing it wrong for years.
And Leo knew as his mother had taught him how to fly, "I have to say, Mister Malfoy, it looks like you have done this before," Madam Hooch asked Leo as she looked over Leo's grip before looking over to Harry, "The same could be said about you Mister Potter," She told Harry.
"My mother thought me, ma'am," Leo told her as she nodded to Leo.
"And you, Mister Potter, did your godfather teach you," Madam Hooch asked Harry, but the boy shook his head.
"No, when Sirius took me to my first Quidditch game, one of my mother's friends that were playing and when she saw Sirius and me, she showed me how to ride a broom," Harry told her as she looked at him.
"Who were they," She asked as people looked at him
"Crystal Buckthorn," Harry said as Madam Hooch thought about the name.
"From the Appleby Arrows," Madam Hooch asked him.
"Yes, ma'am," Harry said as she nodded to him.
"She was a good student and one of the best Slytherin chasers I had ever seen," Madam Hooch told people, looking shocked.
Harry Potter's mother's friends were Slytherin.
She was a muggle-born.
"Make sure that you continue to follow her example," She told Harry as he nodded, then turned to Leo, "And I want the both of you to follow what both of them had taught you two," Madam Hooch told the boys.
"Yes, ma'am," They said as one.
As Madam Hooch walked away, Leo turned to Harry with a raised brow, "So, any more people you know," He asked him.
"Well, I only know Crystal because Mom was one of the people that would fund them, so I just made sure that I kept the money going," Harry told him as Leo nodded.
"Ah, that makes sense," Leo said, but he looked back at Harry, "But," He added with a smirk.
Harry sighed but smiled at him, "Mel Collar, the book series author, calls The The Wolf and The Moon; from my father, I know Benjiman Salmander, the broom-maker and the inventor of Shooting Star Brooms," Harry told him as Leo looked at him.
"The Shooting Star Brooms, as in the broom company that is on the same level as a Nimbus," Leo asked him as Harry nodded.
"Yea," Harry said as Leo looked at him with what would be puppy dog eyes, "Yes, I can get you an Ares," Harry told him with a smile.
After Madam Hooch had made sure that everyone was on their brooms properly pulled the whistle that was around her neck up to her lips, "When I blow my whistle, I want you to kick off the ground, hard," She told the students as they all looked at too, "Keep your brooms steady," She added as she looked took one more look at how the students were on their brooms, "Hover for a moment, then lean forward slightly and touch back down," She informed them as Leo looked to Harry.
And that was when Harry started to gather his magic in his mouth.
Madam Hooch put near her mouth, "On my whistle," She told them as people got ready for different reasons.
Draco to prove that he is superior to the others.
Harry and Leo to save a student.
And Alex to get this class over and done with already.
While Delphi was having the time of her life.
"Three, two, one," Madam Hooch called out, and then she blew her whistle, and it started.
Neville's broom started to lift off the ground and hover in the air before it began to go higher and higher in the air.
"Mister Longbottom," Madam Hooch asked him as she looked confused; he just kept ascending before it started to zoom around the area, "Come down here this instant," She told Neville, but Leo looked up at him.
"It looked like he's not in control, ma'am," Delphi said as she looked up at him.
Madam Hooch looked at her, then back up at the Gryffindor student and looked over him with her hawk-like eyes before muttering under her breath, "I told them this would happen if they did not replace the brooms."
The broom then started to bump into the castle from the tip to the brittles; he then zoomed back down to the courtyard with a sharp dive and at everyone, and everyone ran out of the way as Madam Hooch pulled out her wand to do something to save the student.
But as Neville came speeding at her, she dove out of the way of the speeding student at the broom and took him thou a hallway before zooming up into the air.
"Now Harry," Leo said as he pointed at the hallway as Neville was court on a stature with a sword.
Harry blew out the bubble but tried to push as much air into it as possible before moving it to the hallway entrance.
Just as the bubble was under him, Neville's cloak started to tear as he fell to the floor before he caught on a lantern and fell once more onto the bubble that cushioned his landing.
But something in Neville's pocket was sent flying as Harry tracked it with his eyes before going after it and picking it up.
It was a large marble-sized glass ball that contained smoke.
As it entered his hand, the smoke turned red before becoming clear then red and cycled between the two of them; as he looked confused at it before walking back over to the class, Madam Hooch looked Neville over before she saw Harry walk over to Neville, "This came flying out your pocket," Harry said to the Gryffindor.
"That you," Neville said as their teacher looked at the glass ball and looked shocked.
"Did track it when it was going thru the air," She thought before Madam Hooch looked at him with a raised brow, "You were able to track it," She asked him with narrowed eyes as Harry nodded, "That's impressive and when Oroborus gains it's Quidditch team you should be its seeker," She told Harry who nodded.
"Now that is impressive," Madam Hooch thought as she gave Neville a once over and once, she made sure that he was alright, "Now before he continues the lesson Mister Potter you and both Leonidas Malfoy take 35 points each for saving a student and take another 5 points for returning property to a student," Madam Hooch told Harry and Leo as they nodded at her, "And Miss Lestrange take 3 points for something that I should have seen and done something to correct a while ago," She told Delphi who nodded with a smile.
The rest of the flying lesson was calm, without anything going wrong with Neville sharing a broom with Hermione, who looked happy that she did not have to do much flying as Alex looked at the girl with a knowing eye.
"Not a fan of heights," Alex asked her as she nodded, "Yes, I get that I'm the same," Alex said to her.
"Realy," Hermione asked her as Alex nodded.
"Yes, I like to walk places, but I can see that my future is going to be on the first Oroborus Quidditch team," Alex said as Hermione looked confused, "My little sister is a massive Quidditch fan alongside Leo, so when both Madam Hooch and Professor McGonagall talk about it on Monday well," Alex said as Hermione nodded.
"So do you think that during your second year that Oroborus will have a Quidditch team," She asked the girl.
"Oh yea," Alex said with a sigh as Delphi laughed.
"Don't say that like when we have small games; you are not as competitive as Leo is," Delphi said as Alex looked away as Hermione looked at the younger of Lestrange siblings in question, "When my dear older sister Alex here plays Quidditch she plays keeper and will bark orders at her team like a drill sergeant," Delphi said as Alex gained a small blush on her face.
"Really," Hermione asked as Leo walked over.
"Yep, and by god does she have a mean thou," Leo said as he rubbed his chest from phantom pain.
Harry joined them before they dissented into talking about random things.
Late At Night, Oroborus Common Room
Harry walked into the dulling room; he gathered the air and wind in front of him as Leo, Alex, and Delphi were in the main room.
"What do you think that he is doing," Delphi asked as they watched Harry gather the wind in front of him before it started to take shape.
The wind formed an avian shape as more wind started to spin around before Harry forced more wind to gather into the bird that had formed in front of him before it landed on the floor in front of Harry.
The three others walked over to Harry and looked over the bird to see that it looked like a hawk, "So you made another spell," Leo said as he looked the wind bird over.
They turned to Harry to see that he was breathing hard, "Yes, I call it Swift White Hawk," Harry told them as the bird dispersed into a breeze, "And it takes a lot of energy to make it," He added they nodded.
"I have to same that was impressive the way you moulded the wind into that shape," Gwenifer said as she glided pasted them reading a romance novel.
"Can you do anything else," Delphi asked him as Harry smiled before blowing out bubbles, and all the bubbles hovered in the air.
And they were all different colours.
The others looked amazed at the bubbles that floated around them, "Those are called Bubbles, and I form the water in the air and in my mouth before forming them, and I can also make them coloured," Harry told them as they nodded.
But Alex looked at him, "Bubbles," She asked him, "Was that the best you could come up with; I mean when you told us your other bubble spell was called Elastic Bubbles, I thought that you had run out of names," She added, but Harry shrugged at her.
"Oh yea, what would you call it," Harry asked her as she looked at the bubbles.
She turned away from Harry as Delphi and Leo laughed at her, "Shut up," She muttered before an owl flew in.
It was Hedwig.
And she had a letter with her; as they all looked at it, even Gwenifer stopped and looked up as Harry took the letter from Hedwig as the owl flew to a stand.
He then opened the letter before gaining a slight smile, "Well, it's both good and bad news," Harry said as they nodded at him, "The good news is in three parts," Harry added.
"And the bad news," Delphi asked him.
"Also in three parts," He told her as they looked at Alex.
"Do the bad news first," She told him.
"Alright first part of the bad news is that your mother has been told that she must live with Sirius, so that means the both of you will live with me, Sirius, Remus and my aunt," Harry told the sisters as they nodded.
"So we can't get away from her," Alex asked as Harry shook his head.
Seeing that she was upset, Harry looked to some of the good news, "For some good news," Harry said as he looked at her with a small smile, "Remus is happy to meet you, Alex," Harry said as she looked at him in shock.
"You mean," She asked him with a smile started to form on her face.
"Yep," Harry said as Delphi and Leo hugged her.
"Some more bad news is that we will be living in 12 Grimmauld Place ad trying to make it liveable and getting rid of the dark artefacts there," Harry told them as Delphi and Alex shrugged.
So they were alright with that.
"A part of the good news is that both you and Delphi are wards of house Black which means your mother has no say in your life as Sirius took you both into his family," Harry told them as they nodded, "Another part of bad news the Malfoy family has invited all of us, meaning the sisters, their mother, Remus, Tonks and her family, me and my aunt to their home for a Christmas feast," Harry told them as Leo's face became as hard as a stone.
"Does it say who the one that sent the invite was," Leo asked with the straightest face that Harry had ever seen on the male friend.
And he would say one of his three best friends, "Sirius said that it was your mother, but Sirius, my aunt, Remus and for some reason had changed it so that we would have it at Grimmauld Place instead with me, the house elves, my aunt and Remus making the dinner," Harry told them.
Leo, Alex and Delphi looked at Harry, "You are going to cook dinner," Alex asked him.
Harry nodded, "Yes, while my aunt can cook, her duty is many cleaning, Remus can cook, but he does easy things, and Sirius has been banned from the kitchen for somehow setting fire to water," Harry said as they all looked shocked at what he told them, "And me, I have cooked since I was five," Harry added as they looked at him.
"Is you're cooking any good," Delphi asked him.
Harry nodded at her, "Remember those buns that I ate on the train," Harry said as they walked into the main part of the common room, "Well, I made them myself," Harry told them.
The girls looked shocked at him, "So you are going to help make Christmas dinner," Leo said as Harry nodded once more, "So we can already guess that it's going to be good," Leo said as the girls turned to him.
"How do you know that," Delphi asked him.
Leo looked at her with a raised brow before asking, "When has Harry thou the few days that we have known him not to go above and beyond with anything that he does," Leo told her as she nodded.
"Oh, that's true," Delphi said as Alex looked at her.
Both sisters then yawned before heading off to bed, with Hedwig following the boys into their room.
And once everyone in the room had fallen asleep, Hedwig started to change form.
She turned into a human woman with pale skin and a full-body black cloak; she had the same amber eyes and long black hair.
She looked at Harry before looking at his scar with a scowl, "I will remove you from my master, you creature," She told the scar before shifting back into her owl form.
The Next Day, First floor, Classroom 4
Harry and the others sat in a room with students looking at a ghost droning on about something that was putting people to sleep.
"And some say that the thing that started the goblin rebellion was either because of lack of goblin representation within the Wizengamot, as well as the attempts to enslave goblins as they do with the house elves, the stripping of their wand privileges, or countless wizards attempting to take control Gringotts from the goblins," The professor droned on.
And the professor was a ghost.
Leo went to sleep during the first five minutes, Delphi lasted a further minutes before she fell asleep, and Alex managed up to the ten minutes mark.
Harry was the only person in their class who had managed to say awake thou throughout the lesson.
