Percy Jackson
The train ride home was far more awkward than Percy had expected it to be. Now that he and Annabeth were out, she was no longer his guard and thus, they were now on equal terms. A few train passengers glanced at her for wearing her armor but no one said anything. Percy wasn't sure how to approach a conversation with her since a few days ago, she had been torturing him.
Their relationship could be summed up in one word, confusing. First, she acted like she hated him, then she has sex with him while proclaiming her love for him. This girl's mind was about as understandable to him as Chinese was, and he didn't speak a bit of Chinese.
Percy was almost glad for his simple teenager brain. You see, it was quite simple, he sees boobs, he gets horny. He sees amazing food, he gets hungry. Real easy, you didn't need to know mathematical formulas to figure out how his brain worked.
"So, uh, are we good?" He asked.
"By good, do you mean we're friends again?" She said while not looking at him.
"Yeah."
She sighed and looked over at him, "Sure. We're good."
Percy shrugged, if she said they were good, then they were good. There was no sense in deciding to argue with her, especially on a public train where anyone could hear and witness everything they said.
"We'll be in New York in a few hours." He said.
"Yeah, we will." She agreed.
"You realize you're going to have to tell them the truth, right?"
Annabeth shivered, "I know."
"You know what's going to happen." He said.
"Please, just be quiet for me, Percy." She pleaded, "I know everyone is going to think I'm a traitor, I know that already. Just please let me enjoy this moment of peace before it's gone."
Percy sighed, he figured he wasn't going to torture her. She already had a lot on her plate already, she didn't need him worrying her about a potential exile from camp or execution from the gods.
One thing was for certain however, Percy wasn't going to let her fall alone. He was going to plead her case to whoever needed to hear it. If he had to duel Zeus himself, he would. He brought Annabeth home, he wasn't going to throw her to the wolves, and he wasn't going to fail to protect her, not like last time.
He stared out the train's windows, he was going to keep his promise, even if it meant keeping it with his final breath.
Ω
When Percy brought Annabeth back to camp, every camper around was cheering and yelling. Even the Ares cabin looked relieved to see both of them back. Annabeth's siblings brought her in for a close group hug, Percy knew that they had missed their sister.
The entire camp had to be assembled on Half-Blood Hill, each camper was trying to get a good view on what was going on. Chiron was trying to calm everyone down but too many campers were excited to see Percy and Annabeth back, especially Annabeth since she had disappeared two years ago.
Clarisse stomped over and punched Percy on the arm, "Jackson, you are a absolute piece of shit, you know that? You go on a rescue mission to save Annabeth and you don't invite any of us along?"
"Ah, Clarisse, charming as ever, yeah?" He asked with a smile despite the bruise forming on his arm.
Clarisse growled and walked off, presumably to join the group of half-bloods surrounding Annabeth.
Percy was more than happy to dump all the attention on her, he was tired. If he had to go through everything all over again, he would. This moment made everything worth it. The sun shining down on him, the warm feeling of being back home, all of it was worth it.
For so long, Percy had been worried about what had happened to Annabeth, now he had her back, and he wasn't going to let her go.
Malcolm walked out of the crowd and towards Percy, "I knew you'd find her. Thanks, man."
"Yeah." Percy lied, technically Annabeth found him.
Then the campers around Annabeth had stopped cheering. He and Malcolm looked over to see what was wrong. Percy's hand drifted into his pocket and wrapped around Riptide.
"Where were you?" Drew's voice asked.
Annabeth looked around like a deer caught in headlights. She had a panicked look in her eyes, which landed on Percy. He could see her begging for his help, she was going to have to tell the truth.
"Hold on, I'll be right back, Malcolm." Percy said as he walked through the crowd and towards Annabeth. He appeared in the crowd surrounding her and nodded for her to go ahead.
"I—I was in Kronos's army." Annabeth confessed.
The crowd of demigods gasped while some gaped at her. Percy wrapped his hand tighter around Riptide, if anyone drew their weapons, he'd draw his. A few demigods whispered amongst each other, some shook their heads in disappointment.
"You what?!" Clarisse's loud and rough voice shouted.
Annabeth winced. Clarisse started storming through the crowd, half-bloods moved out of her way as she made towards the daughter of Athena. There was only one thing that stood in her way, and that was none other than Percy Jackson.
"Clarisse, back off." He said.
"How could you defend her, Percy?" She asked, not even insulting him out of shock, "She betrayed us, she betrayed you!"
"She came back, didn't she?" Percy said, "Everyone deserves a second chance, Annabeth isn't any different."
Clarisse's mouth opened and closed like a fish. She looked between Percy and Annabeth. He watched her with careful eyes, if she made a move, he wasn't going to hesitate to intercept her.
Chiron stepped out of the crowd, "Annabeth, child, I think it's best you come with me."
Annabeth moved to step forward but was stopped when Percy held a hand to her chest.
"No, Annabeth isn't leaving my sight." Percy declared.
"Percy—"
"No, sir." He repeated, "We aren't hurting Annabeth, we aren't exiling Annabeth. She came back to us and that's that."
Chiron looked troubled but said, "Very well, I trust your judgement."
"I do not." A deeper voice said.
Everyone turned and gasped when they saw who was standing beside the Centaur. Everyone knelt, including Chiron, Percy, and Annabeth. Percy was reluctant to do so but he did anyways.
Zeus was standing next to Chiron, his blue pin-stripe suit crisp and clean. His storm-cloud like beard seemed to swirl while his eyes glowed an electric blue. The god's jaw was clenched and his fist tightened around his master bolt, which crackled with ominous energy. Percy wasn't sure if he could stop Zeus's bolt but he sure as hell was willing to try.
"Annabeth Chase." Zeus said, "We summon you to Olympus for your judgement."
Annabeth slowly got to her feet and walked towards the god. Percy ran in front of her, much to the annoyance of Zeus.
"I'm going too." He said.
"No, you are not." Zeus said.
"Then she's not coming with you!" Percy said.
Annabeth put a hand on Percy's shoulder, "Don't do this, Percy."
Percy gritted his teeth while looking back at her before turning back to the god, "She's not going anywhere."
"You dare defy the will of the gods?" Zeus asked dangerously.
"I do." Percy retaliated in a rebellious manner.
"Let the girl go." Zeus ordered, seeming to get younger and more muscular with each passing second. He was changing into a form he could fight with.
"No."
"You will obey me, Perseus." Zeus growled, "Or you will answer for her."
"Percy." Annabeth said in a warning tone.
Percy took Riptide out of his pocket and uncapped it. He glared at the king of the gods, "She stays with me."
Zeus's eyes flashed with pure anger as he saw Percy's sword. The sky grew darker overhead. Tension filled the air as every camper and Chiron watched the tense stand off between the king of the gods and the son of Poseidon.
"You want to protect her so badly?" Zeus asked, "Very well, have your wish. Your fates are intertwined. For the crime of bearing arms against myself, you Percy Jackson, will face judgement."
"Percy, don't do this!" Annabeth begged tearfully.
"Let's go." Percy grumbled, walking towards the god. He capped Riptide and held his hands out to Zeus. The god flashed chains around his wrists before doing the same to Annabeth. Then he flashed the two to Olympus.
Ω
"What's this?!" Poseidon boomed as he appeared in his throne.
Every god was present in the throne room, Hades had even been called for the special occasion of witnessing not just one hero get judged but two.
Percy stood in the middle of the throne room, he was the very first to be judged since he technically committed the greater crime by drawing his sword on Zeus. Perhaps it was Zeus's hurt feelings or something, Percy didn't care.
"Your son raised arms against me, brother." Zeus said, "Such acts cannot, will not be tolerated."
"You provoked my son!" Poseidon argued.
"How? By attempting to deliver justice?" Zeus asked.
"You threatened the one he loves, that is provocation!"
"Enough!" Zeus shouted, "You are not your son, you do not get to argue on his behalf."
Poseidon sat back in his throne, silently smoldering as he watched the trial go one. Athena was in a similar state. For once, they both agreed that their children should be set free. Annabeth watched the whole trial in terror, it was obvious she hadn't mean for something like this to happen.
"We have multiple punishments we can offer." Zeus said, "The first punishment and my recommendation, is death for the accused. The second punishment is banishment. Then there's acquittal. We will vote on each choice after the accused explains themselves, after which, the choice that wins the vote will be done. Thus is the will of the gods."
Percy stared down every god with a grudge against him. Kill him or banish him, he didn't care. As long as Annabeth came out okay, that's all that mattered to him.
"Explain yourself, Perseus." Zeus ordered.
Percy didn't want to, he felt he shouldn't have to explain himself to a bunch of pompous assholes who only care about themselves. Yet he did so anyways.
"I was defending Annabeth. I made a promise to never abandon her, to never give up on us, I can't break that promise." Percy said, "Whatever you do to Annabeth, you will have to do to me."
"Perseus, be rational." Hephaestus said, "This is foolish, there are many women out there who you can court, Annabeth is just another woman."
"She's not just another woman, she's my best friend!" Percy argued, "I won't leave her!"
"Is she really worth going to war over, son?" Poseidon asked.
"Yes, she is."
A few of the gods looked at each other, some of them Percy knew would support him while others seemed to be contemplating whether this was really worth it.
Zeus stroked his chin, "Do you have anything else to say before we enact judgement?"
"Do what you will." Percy said.
"Very well, all in favor of death?" Zeus asked, raising his hand.
Out of all the gods, only Zeus and Hades raised their hands. Not even Ares or Athena did so, which sort of surprised Percy, those two gods had no reason to not vote for his death.
"The kid has spunk. I like that." Ares said as he noticed all the glances at him, "That there is a fighter."
"Killing Perseus would be unwise, he is the prophecy child after all. This trial is foolish and a waste of our time." Athena said, "I vote we set both demigods free."
"We will get to that in time, Athena." Zeus said, "Now, who supports banishment?"
Once again, only a few hands went up. Zeus, Hades, and Ares voted for it this time.
"What?" Ares asked as Poseidon glared at him, "It's a good middle ground. We keep the punk alive but punish him for being a brat."
Zeus sighed, "I'm sure the rest of you are voting for acquittal?"
The remaining gods banged their weapons. Even Hera seemed to be in favor of letting them go, despite her grudge against Annabeth. She must've known that this was not the time for her grudge to be upfront.
Zeus pinched the bridge of his nose, "I can't believe this. Perseus Jackson, you are hereby acquitted by this council. Annabeth Chase, due to Percy's rather unpleasant insistence, you too are hereby acquitted. You may now leave Olympus."
The chains around Percy and Annabeth's wrists disappeared. Percy rubbed his wrists and stood up, proud of his victory. He'd won, he'd beaten Zeus at his own game. Despite the power of the god he was facing, Percy's sheer will to defend Annabeth won.
The gods quickly got off their thrones, either going off to attend to their own matters or to have much-needed talks with one another.
Poseidon walked towards Percy. He placed a hand on his shoulders, "Son, what you did was very dangerous." Then he smiled, "But damn if I'm not the proudest father in the world."
"W-what?" Percy asked, "You're not mad?"
"You stood your ground against Zeus, son." Poseidon smiled, "That courage is the very attribute that makes heroes what they are. Keep that up and we just might win this war."
Percy was surprised, he thought his dad would be furious for risking everything for a daughter of Athena. To be honest, he had already resigned himself to the fact that he was going wherever Annabeth went.
"Ehm, Poseidon." Athena cleared her throat.
Poseidon looked at her, "What is it?"
"May I borrow your son?" She asked.
Poseidon nodded and patted his shoulders, "Good luck, son."
Percy watched as his dad walked off. He couldn't help but feel a bit proud of himself. He hadn't expected to make his dad proud like that but it was a pleasant surprise.
Athena stared at the son of Poseidon, "I am surprised with your will, Percy. Even when you were faced with death, you still held firm for my daughter."
"It wasn't the first time." Percy said.
"And it won't be the last." Athena promised, "I suppose I misjudged you, perhaps you aren't as cutthroat as your father. I will give you the benefit of the doubt but know this, abandon my daughter and you better prepare to abandon hope."
Percy resisted the urge to snap back at her. He saved her daughter, and she threatens him? How was that fair at all?
"Now, go back to your camp, your leadership is needed there." Athena ordered.
Percy sighed as he turned to leave, of course, he faced something like this and now he was being ordered to go back to war. He passed Annabeth on the way out. She was staring at him the whole time. He shook his head at her before leaving the throne room. He'd wait to talk to her when they got back to camp, he didn't want to be around the gods right now.
Ω
When Percy came back to camp, everyone was surprised to see him back. It seemed they had all figured that he was done for, not many heroes faced Zeus and lived, yet here he was, still alive.
By now, most of the campers noticed Annabeth's absence, her siblings wore dark and depressed faces, they no doubt thought their sister was dead.
Yet Malcolm still walked up to Percy and asked, "Is she dead?"
"No," Percy shook his head, "We both got acquitted. She's probably talking with your mom or something."
Malcolm looked surprised, "How did you get acquitted?"
"Zeus was wrong." Percy said as thunder rumbled overhead, "Most of the gods didn't want me or Annabeth dead. Ares wanted me banished but not dead."
"My dad wanted you alive?" Clarisse said with raised eyebrows, "That's a first."
"Yeah, well, Zeus and Hades both wanted me gone." Percy said, "So looks like team kill-me is still alive."
Malcolm patted him on the shoulder, "Well, if it makes you feel any better, we're on your side."
If Percy was being honest, it did make him feel better, he needed to hear that. Sure, his dad was on his side, but that was expected. After Athena threatened him, his whole mood went sour. What kind of person threatens someone after they just saved their daughter?
The reminder of that still irked Percy. He wanted to be alone.
"I'm going to my cabin." Percy said, "I need to be alone for a bit."
As he walked away, he heard Clarisse ask not so quietly, "What's up with him?"
Percy felt betrayed when he got into his cabin. He spent all this time looking for Annabeth and when he finally brought her home, the gods decide to try to take her away from him.
He flopped onto his bed, tired both mentally and physically. He was way too tired to go to dinner, he'd just skip it and go to breakfast in the morning. For now, it was time for some well-deserved sleep.
Ω
When Percy woke up, his cabin was dark, save for the abalone-like glow on his walls and the light from the fountain. He groaned and wiped his eyes, he still felt tired, despite feeling like he'd slept a whole day when in reality, he had probably only slept for a few hours.
He climbed out of bed, well, he more crawled then climbed but it didn't matter. He walked over to his wardrobe, he couldn't believe he'd fallen asleep in jeans, he must've been real tired if he had managed to fall asleep that way.
A knock at his cabin door made him look over. He groaned with annoyance, that was probably Chiron coming to ask him about what had happened on Olympus. He was certain that Annabeth had told the Centaur.
When he opened the door, he was surprised to find Annabeth standing there. She looked like a goddess compared to him. He had a bad case of bed head, and his clothes were all wrinkled. Annabeth looked like she had gotten out of shower, judging from the fact that her hair was wild and curly and that she smelled like her shampoo.
"Hey." He said.
"Hey, can I come in?" She asked.
Percy shrugged and moved aside. She walked in, eventually motioning for him to close the door. She kicked off her flip-flops and turned to him.
"Listen," She said while fidgeting with her hands, "I didn't get to thank you properly, you didn't have to do what you did."
"Annabeth, if you came in here to thank me, don't bother. I already know." He said.
Annabeth lowered her hands and tilted her head, "What's up with you?"
"What?" He asked.
"You've been acting all gloomy since we got here. Clarisse told me you looked pissed when you got back." She said, "Aren't you happy that we're back?"
"It's the gods." Percy said as he walked past her.
"What about them?" She asked, "They let us go."
"Yeah, but they still tried taking you away. They saw how I was when you got taken, and yet they still tried to execute you. It's like they only care about themselves, they don't care about who they kill or hurt, as long as it isn't themselves." He said with venom.
"Percy, I get it, you're angry at the gods, but they still voted to let us go. If anything, blame Zeus for this whole thing." She said, "He's the one who tried to put me on trial."
Percy shook his head, "And then he put me on trial with you. Yeah, it was my fault for even drawing my sword but he couldn't at least let me get what I want once?"
Annabeth walked over to him and wrapped an arm around his shoulder, "It's okay, I'm here."
Percy didn't even get flustered at her touch, not like he would've before. Maybe it was because he'd already shared a intimate moment with her.
"Just let it all go, Percy." She said, "You won't be able to enjoy my gift if you don't."
"Annabeth, I don't want anything—" He was cut off when she kissed him.
Annabeth wrapped her arms around Percy's neck and deepened the kiss. Percy would be lying if he said he didn't enjoy it. He was still angry at the gods but that feeling slowly was eclipsed by the feeling of Annabeth's lips on his.
Percy's hands roamed down Annabeth's side, eventually coming to a stop at her thighs. He hoisted her up and carried her to his bunk, almost tripping a few times since she was still kissing him and he could barely see where he was going.
Annabeth let out a grunt when he threw her onto the bunk. She looked up at him and smiled, "Part 2?"
Percy didn't respond, instead he pulled his shirt over his head and threw it to the side. He reached down and started unbuckling his belt, only looking up when he saw Annabeth sliding her shorts down her legs. When she pulled her shirt over her head, he was surprised to see her bare breasts.
"You weren't wearing a bra?" He asked in a breathless way.
"Why would I wear one when I knew I was going to take it off when I got here?" She asked.
Of course, she planned this. He'd say he was surprised but he really wasn't.
Annabeth peeled her panties off and dropped them off the bed with a sultry smile, "Make my night, Seaweed Brain."
Percy shoved his pants and boxers down, stepping out of them and moving towards Annabeth. She instantly wrapped her legs around him and pulled him to her. Both demigods stared at one another, their breathing heavy and lustful.
When Percy slipped inside her, Annabeth let out a loud moan that was all need and pleasure. Percy grimaced, Annabeth was still just as tight as before. He moved in and out of her, relishing the feeling of being inside Annabeth yet again.
Annabeth smiled drunkenly at him, her face took on a attractive blush as the two continued in their lovemaking. Percy didn't even consider this fucking, what they did in the prison was fucking. This was too slow and emotional, that time in the prison was partially out of frustration.
The bed squeaked as Percy went back and forth, he groaned while Annabeth let out long drawn out sighs. Their bodies produced a smacking sound that only added to the orchestra of lust that the two were leading. Each thrust sent jolts of pleasure through both of them, neither of them showed signs of wanting to stop.
Annabeth nodded as Percy straightened up and started hitting her at a angle that he'd never hit before. They had time to explore, and he was planning to use every second wisely.
Percy stared into her eyes, grinning when she squeezed them shut after a couple of minutes. She let out a low moan while she tightened her legs around him.
To Percy, Annabeth looked utterly beautiful when she reached her climax. Her eyes would shut, her mouth would gape open to release those moans he loved to hear, her back would arch like she was being lifted off the bed by some invisible force, and of course, she'd tighten around him like she was trying to squeeze him to death.
When Annabeth's orgasm died down, she grinned at him and pulled him down to her. He let out a grunt as his body smacked against hers.
"I love you." She whispered in his ear.
Whether Annabeth really meant it or if it was her lust-addled mind, no one knew except Percy. He squeezed his eyes shut and let out a loud groan as he spilled into her. Those simple three words were enough to do him in. Percy's hips pumped erratically, trying to release as much of himself as he could into the demigoddess beneath him.
Both demigods collapsed with a sigh. They were finally finished. Percy felt Annabeth's warm softer frame under his muscular body. Her legs released him as they went limp. He rolled to his side and laid there, his breathing heavy and uneven. Annabeth's breathing was just as intense.
"I hope you enjoyed that." Annabeth said.
Percy grumbled something about being tired as he nestled into her side. He felt Annabeth kiss his forehead before hugging him and drifting off to sleep. He couldn't help but smile, a content look on his face as he joined his lover in the realm of Hypnos.
A/N: And that's how this story ends. I know this is one of my lesser quality works, so i totally get it if it's not that well-received. I won't delete it just for those who do like it, and i won't rewrite it. I tried to make the ending scene more sensual and less vulgar than my other sex scenes so hopefully it came off that way.
