Onto the next...
Starscream stared. He'd seen those amber optics before but not this mech. It brought back memories of the two he'd encountered on Primus. Who was this? How did they get here?
"How does it feel, Starscream?" the strange mech then asked, snapping him from his stare, "to be like this?"
Starscream glared from the corner of his optic in distaste at this mech's presence, "Take it away." He knew this mech would know what he was talking about.
"No."
"Why not?"
"Unfortunately, I can't. It's irreversible and almost entirely unstoppable," The mech replied in a matter of fact tone. He didn't seem happy or sad about telling him this. Starscream took notice. Was this one not here to help?
"Yeah, I already got that memo."
"Why do you think Unicron had the Fallen exiled? There was no other way to get rid of it."
"Why? Why did you do this to me?"
"Oh, I didn't do this slagfest, someone else did. And they're in a heap of trouble for it." The mech informed. "I just wanted to see it for myself. There were rumors whether it was true or not."
He wondered if one knew what was going on, it was important enough for all of them to know. "Who, then?" Starscream asked. "Who did this to me?" He really didn't care about this mech wanting to see it. He wanted to know what was happening to him... and most of all, why.
"I believe you have single-handedly gotten his attention. Not sure that's a good thing or a bad thing. It is definitely a feat in itself."
"Who? Gotten who's attention?"
"There is a reason it was forbidden, Starscream. That idiot had no right using it."
"Forbidden?"
Starscream was so lost about what was going on, he was silent, hoping the mech would say more. Whose side was he on, anyway?
"Unicron and Primus both know about your existence. Neither of them is happy."
Starscream furrowed his optics. That didn't make sense. That other mech told him he was on Primus. It seemed to him, when he was there, that Primus was a realm. "Wait, hold it." The seeker put up a digit, halting the mech. "I was told when I went to wherever it is your kind comes from, that I was on Primus, yet, you're telling me Primus knows about me?"
"Contradicting, isn't it? Primus is an essence and can take other forms other than his natural state," The mech explained, annoyed he'd have to explain this to someone like Starscream. "And don't worry, the idiot who cursed you will get what's coming to them. I don't think they knew the extent of problems we had with The Fallen, but I'm pretty sure Cybertron will."
"Cybertron already does."
"Not entirely. It's been quite a show watching Megatron think he's using you."
"So far it's working!"
"That's only because you're letting him. It's pretty twisted, actually – Like Unicron twisted."
"How do I conquer this thing? There has to be a way. Do you know that much?"
"You can't. Your only option is the death that awaits you when you run out of others to feed upon. Do you honestly think that for one second, if Unicron saw a way to control it, he wouldn't have done it already? Did you really believe that Megatron is as bad as they get? You've got another thing coming."
"How much worse is there?"
"…Well, there's you," The mech pointed at Starscream with a sneer.
Starscream woke up, finding himself no longer shackled to the walls and floor as always. Staring down at the floor in confusion, he realized that wasn't a dream. He'd been transported there. And what did he mean he was worse than Megatron? He didn't consider himself as bad as Megatron, and certainly not as bad as Unicron!
How was he letting them think they're using him? The seeker looked at the shackles thought. He was still stuck in the cage. That mech, whoever he was, was a fool.
Looks like trouble's a brewing... Not like Starscream needs anymore trouble...
