A/N: Hello guys, sorry this will be a very short chapter. I'm facing some issues regarding my rehab. It ain't a big deal but you know how parents can get worried right?

Layla who was smiling with her eyes closed, slowly got up from her place opposite to Naruto and sat beside him and put her hand on his thigh,

"My son?"

"Y-yes, mother.."

"You had a child before getting married?", she asked without an inch of a shift in her smile.

"Yes, m-mom.."

"And how old is my granddaughter I wonder?"

"She should be ten this year, mother..." Naruto replied, clenching every inch of his body in fear.

There was some deathly silence that felt like an eternity for Naruto and all of a sudden,

"AHHHHHHHHHH", he felt his thigh being pinched as if someone was trying to rip it out.

"NARUTO PHENEX I HAVE A GRANDAUGHTER SINCE TEN YEARS AND I'M KNOWING IT NOW!", Layla shouted as he intensified her pinching.

"Mom, mom please calm down and let me go and I'll explain it ! Please!", Naruto pleaded.

But Layla was in no mood to listen,

"You leave the house all of a sudden without giving us a word, been a ghost for 90 years, and literally 0 words from you since then and now you come and break this news! You've become a very irresponsible young man, I'm going to punch in the teachings like how I did when you were a kid!"

'ANYTHING BUT THAT!', Naruto screamed in his head.

"Mom, I'm sorry I've learned my lesson, please please leave my thigh I can't bear it.!", pleaded Naruto.

No amount of shinobi training will make them prepared for this unexpected medium of pain(maybe), since the thighs are one of the fleshy areas in our body and are easy to spread over the surface area of the pain.

Layla contemplated for a minute before leaving her grip, which Naruto capitalized on, and began to rub over that area, whimpering.

"So, what does your lover do for a living?", Layla asked sternly.

"She is a Youkai mom", Naruto answered.

Layla didn't show any surprised expression but still looked at Naruto as if she knew he was hiding something.

' I really can't hide anything from her can I, not that it's my intention though"

"She is Yasaka, mom. The leader of the Youkai faction."

Before Layla could say anything,

" WHAT?!"

" SO, YOU ARE THE "MYSTERIOUS" MAN WHO CAPTURED YASAKA?"

" No, no I didn't capture her or anything, but I get what you mean."

The voices were of Ruval and Ravel, who were hiding behind the door leading to the garden, and it seems they were eavesdropping on how their mom would scold Naruto.

"Ravel, it isn't ladylike to shout and eavesdrop like that", Layla said with a calm tone.

Ravel, who was lost in the moment due to Naruto's reveal about his wife came to her senses , "S-sorry mother..."

Naruto laughed lightly at this deja-vu to which, Ravel's face grew slightly red and asked,

" N-Nii-sama, do you think how I behaved is funny?"

"No, not at-...", Naruto was about to say no but sensing the same cold aura from his mother again, he changed his answer at the last second,

" *Cough* Well, I think it is acceptable sometimes I guess. But that's not why I laughed though."

"Then why did you laugh?", Ravel asked.

"I and my daughter had the same conversation about being ladylike just before I came here. The only difference is that she pouted and wouldn't talk to me, so I had to say she was the best lady in the world", Naruto answered while smiling.

"Naruto", Lord Phenex called him from the entrance of the garden.

"Dad.."

Lord Phenex slowly walked towards Naruto and sat beside him,

"Whatever has happened until now, has... happened. You can't change it no matter what you do and I think you understand it too. I was worried about how were you coping in the human world, but to think that you finally have a 'real' love of your life along with a child is something I didn't expect. I'm so thankful for Lady Yasaka for this."

" Me too dad", Naruto said with a smile.

Lord Phenex who had kind of a serious look until then changed it into a casual one,

"But to think you had a child before marriage and adding to that, it's with 'that' Yasaka. As expected of my son! HA HA HA!"

" But it's really not a joke you know? Many houses were really upset even in the underworld because they wanted to have her as their woman. It stirred up quite some noise for a really long time", Lady Phenex said.

"Yeah, I know. I observed many people from various factions visiting her on the basis of 'congratulating', but all they wanted was to find the man whom she got pregnant with. Of course, I would've dumped them out if they have caused any trouble."

" Wait, if you were with Lady Yasaka the whole time during the visitations, then how come nobody saw you?", Ruval asked.

"Well, I was under disguise. I didn't want to have any unnecessary attention back then."

Ruval muttered, ' That's why...' under his breath.

" By the way, when are you going to introduce my granddaughter and daughter-in-law"? Lord Phenex asked.

"Very soon dad, I'm gonna meet with a few of my old friends in the underworld and get back to the surface world to see what the Red Dragon Emperor has been up to. And then, I'll be home with your granddaughter and daughter-in-law."

"I'll be waiting for it."

[ AFTER THE TEA TIME]

"So... Ravel. What is that you do in Riser's Peerage?"

"Well, I mostly deal with strategies that work most of the time. I rarely get into any situations requiring me to use my magical prowess, " Ravel puffed up her chest as if she was proud of her role.

Naruto and Ravel were sitting in a private library, which contains many books including the ones which talk about the underworld history, types of magic spells, and all that gibberish. This is what Ravel wanted, she and her brother to talk about magic. Not that muscle-tearing physical session she had in the afternoon. Her body is still sore from it but she is managing somehow.

"That's impressive for sure. It's not a fluke that your opponents fall for your strategies for what? 4 match matches straight from what I heard? You did play a vital role in Riser's good run of games."

Ravel blushed from all of those praises from Naruto. But even before she could thank him for those,

" But that won't be enough in the future", Naruto said in a slightly serious voice.

"Eh?", Ravel let out a small sound.
