Mackenzie and Sam had been back together for a week. All their friends were thrilled for them. It was early in the morning. Sam was sitting on the couch feeding Riley Ann a bottle. Mackenzie came into the living room with a gym bag slung over her shoulder.

"I'm leaving." Mackenzie said. She went by the couch, bent down and gave Riley Ann a kiss on the forehead. "Be good for daddy." "Mommy won't be gone long." She looked at Sam. They kissed. "I love you."

"I love you too."

Mackenzie left.

"Riley Ann, I want to ask you a question." Sam said. "How do you think I should propose to mommy?" "It needs to be different then last time."

At the gym Mackenzie was changing into her workout clothes. She hated her C-Section scar. To the point where she was putting off having sex with Sam because she didn't want him to see it. She wanted him to remember her body the way it was and not, to her, this mutilated version.

Later that night Mackenzie, Sam and Riley Ann were on the couch. Mackenzie was holding Riley Ann up under her arms.

"Give mommy kisses, give mommy kisses." Mackenzie brought Riley Ann to her mouth. Riley Ann opened her mouth gave her a sloppy kiss. "Thank you." "Should we tell daddy what we decided?"

"Ga." Riley Ann said.

"Yeah I think so to." She looked at Sam. "We've decided, we're moving back to Atlanta with you."

"Can I see Riley Ann for a second?"

"Yeah." She handed her to him. "What are you doing?"

"Ssh, Riley Ann and I are having a conversation." He looked at Riley Ann. "Uh-huh, uh-huh." He looked back at Mackenzie. "She said I should just move in with you guys."

"I don't want you to uproot your life."

"You shouldn't have to uproot yours either." "I've been planning on moving to California anyway." "It's a bonus to move in here."

"If you're sure."

"I'm sure." He kissed her. "I'll start making arrangements tomorrow."
