Morning approaches, and Usagi wakes up at a sensible time. Today is a weekend, thus she is free to spend her day without any school problems. Her first thing to do would be to see her friends for a day out on the town. "Ah, a good day to relax is finally here! I wonder how everyone else is doing." says Usagi. She takes a long stroll from her house and onwards to the busy streets of the Minato district. Upon arriving there, she notices a young dashing black-haired boy who she immediately gushed in joy. "Mamo-chan! Over here!" she shouts out as she skips toward him. The boy, Mamoru Chiba, turned to see her coming his way. "Usako. How have you been?" He replied. The two are locked in a tight and long embrace with one another. "I missed you lately. I have a lot to tell you." Usagi mumbled. "Me too." Mamoru softened. They share a walk through the markets and shops, exchanging their past occurrences. "So, that's what happened in your school?" Mamoru restated. "Yeah, we had some visitors from America coming here, and we hosted a festival. Not long before that, a monster came and attacked the place. We fought them as best as we could, but our powers are nearly gone." Usagi recapped. "Usako, that's awful. If only could've been there to help." regretted Mamoru. "You shouldn't feel like that, Mamo-chan. If you were there, they would've taken your power too." Usagi placated. Mamoru reluctantly agreed with his lover, "I suppose. But, still... I should've done something." Usagi gave Mamoru a slight kiss on his cheek to uplift him. "It's alright." Mamoru then continued. "And then what happened?" Usagi explained further, "We were certain we couldn't win. But just then, these new guys called the Power Rangers came and fought back the beasts. Luna said that they might be our enemies, but I'm not so sure." Mamoru became enthralled upon hearing about this new fighting squad on the scene. "Power Rangers? That somehow reminds me of a certain show I've watched a lot of back when I was young. It was about this group of ancient warriors that woke from a long slumber, and were called upon by a wise old spirit to defeat the evils of an old sorceress and protect the earth." Usagi quickly presumed that theory and yelped out, "Ooh! Do you think that's them!?" Mamoru expresses his speculations, "Maybe. But that's not possible. I've always thought those warriors were just made up for the sake of a fun show. I have no idea if they ever actually existed." Usagi had deduced her opinion. "In any case, they are definitely not bad guys. We should be working together to stop this threat. Right, Mamo-chan?" Mamoru answered fondly, "That's what I like about you, Usako. You're always the type to be friends with everyone and not letting anyone else bear burdens alone." His words gave Usagi a slight blush of praise. "Aaaah.. You're too much, Mamo-chan!" The couple happily take their free time enjoying their stroll together through the day...

Farther ahead of where the two are, inside of the jewelry shop OSA-P, Minako is currently gazing at the glimmering pendants and rings being displayed. "Gosh, I wish I could afford some of them. These all look so pretty." She shifts her attention to a white furred cat. "Wouldn't you think so, Artemis?" The cat was becoming exasperated by his partner's trinket cravings. "Mina, isn't it time for you to be preparing yourself for what's coming?" he insisted. "Come on, we should have a moment to take a breather sometimes, you know." Minako eased. "Don't forget. Your power is still at a bare minimum, and it won't be long before our enemies make their next move." The forewarning words of Artemis changed Minako's bright expression into worry. "I know." She admitted. A sentimental Artemis promptly empathized, "After what Luna told me about them coming back to get us and those new band of challengers, I'm not keeping it together much myself." Minako brightened up to her best extent, "Well, no matter what happens, we'll find a way to win." A firmed nod is expressed from Artemis. "Right. The first thing we need to do is figuring out how to regain your lost strength as soon as possible." The two firmly exited the store, whereupon they notice Usagi with Mamoru across from them, and with the other two noticing Minako stepping outside as well. "Minako-chan! How are you?" says Usagi. "Hi, Usagi. I'm just heading to see Rei at the Hikawa shrine." answered Minako. The ever avid Usagi gave out a cheery request. "Oh! Can we come too?" A humble look swells on Minako's face as she tries to raincheck. "Are you sure, Usagi-chan? I mean, I don't want to interrupt you two right now." Mamoru insisted on the matter. "We're okay with it. There's something she needs to do once we get there." Minako comprehended on the offer and the group make their way to Hikawa Shrine...
