"I'll go with you." Nyarlat told the young man.
Two days have passed since the whole kind Nyarlat thingy and she hadn't stopped. The routine had change once again, it was training (hell with small bits of heaven), go to class and expect it not to be combat, going to the cafeteria and having verbal fights against Nyarlat while his friends stared at him with either worry or confusion, then he had the entire afternoon to do whatever he wanted with whoever he wanted. Finally there was the night were the whole thing was coin toss, it was either a night to sleep or a game in which he suffered a big to moderate amount of pain.
Sincerly he was getting tired that his entire routine depended on the mood of the Elder God so he decided to spice things up a little by going to Vale on his own not for training but in order to either buy a comic or drink some coffee.
Nyarlat had decided to keep being an annoyance though.
"No you will not." Jaune told her, planting his foot firm in the ground. "I'm going to Vale in order to escape YOU. If you were to come with me the entire pupose of going there would be defeated."
"..." Nyarlat stared at him before shouting. "You're weak! You're ridicously weak, if I don't go with you who will be there to cheer for whoever is beting you up for being an annoyance."
"I'm not going to get beaten up in Vale!"
"Well, not until I intervene." In response to this comment Jaune tried to got past her once again. "Come on, we have already seen every nook and cranny of the city, what exaclty are you planning on doing there?"
"Right now I'm putting into consideration to put a restrcition order on you." Jaune scowl became even bigger when he saw her plased expression of 'You know fully well that the police will not be able to anything to me' he was going to make sure to pinch her cheeks extra hard tommorrow for that one. "Shouldn't you go something important like... Preparing for when your real body arrives?"
"I would but there is something in the way." She said with an annoyed voice. "It is like those pesky little dogs that you could get out of the way with just one big kick but that you're so surprised with how much they are growling you so you're just frozen in pure confusion."
"...What?"
"The creator gods of your universe are getting in my way to get here." Nyarlat summrarized the intent of the mataphor for the boy. "They aren't exaclty poweful but they are attacking me so often and so agressively that I have to stop from time to time to shake them off."
"So it is like two giant hornets that keep flying around you but they don't attack you." Jaune added to the metaphor.
"Correct." She said with a pleased smile. "That is the reason you're my foolish advisor."
"What's with the nickn- Don't change the subject." Jaune told her, causing Nyarlat to mutter something that sounded very close 'It was you but whatever'. "I'm going out to Vale, I'll go to the closest coffee shop, will probably buy a comic book, and then I will come back here so that you can continue being an annoyance."
Nyarlat looked at him with squinted eyes, judging him and making sure that he wasn't going to do something stupid.
"You have four hours and then I'm going to search for you." She declared while tuning around and going... To whatever place she went to when he wasn't with her.
To Jaune it didn't really matter, he had four complete hours of freedom in Vale and he was going to use them to its fullest. Maybe he would also go and watch a movie while he was around.
"This is going to be the best day ever!"
The best day ever had been ruined.
He will give credit where credit is due though, it wasn't Nyarlat's fault. He had taken a bullhead without problem, he had landed in a swift manner so far so good and the day kept getting better and better when he saw that they were selling a limited edition of a the 100th issue of his favurite comic series. It appeared that for the first time since his first week in Beacon lady luck had decided to be kind to him.
Then he met Cardin Winchester. He was a bully and a racist that tormented faunus (his favourite objective being Velvet Scarlatina a girl a year older than him) and the person that had stopped tageting him after Nyarlat appeared, he wasn't sure why but he felt that even he was considering him a poor boy that needed help to get away from the monster that was the girl.
He then dissapeared. Fice days ago Cardin had gone completely missing, no one tormented Velvet any longer and whenever he was called in the roll call at the beginning of classes he wasn't there to shout that he was present. Everyone had thought that it was something they shouldn't worry about, they thought that he was missing classes jut to act cool and uninterested. This sentiment died when his teammates began to ask in a rather desperate manner if they had seen him.
He would have chalcked it up to Nyarlat's doing but up until she seemed to only focus in him.
"Oh, hello Jaune." Cardin said, he was dressed incredibly different he was dressed up in a suit and wearing a yellow tie around his neck, but over all he seemed distant like he was just in automatic pilot. "How's it going?"
"...Are you feeling okay?" Jaune asked, suprising even himself with how much he cared. "No, that doesn't atter right now. Where have you been? Your team has been searching for you all over Beacon and possibly all around the city, they are beginning to believe that you're death."
"I will have to apologize then." Cardin said before giving a light laugh. "In the mean time why don't we start to talk about a way to improve your life?"
Instictevily Jaune gave a step back.
"I have the assured method to fix your life and every relationship you have." Cardin began to pull out a pamflet from his coat. "With the help of the Yellow King you will-"
That was the point had decided to run away. He couldn't believe but he would need to tell team RDL that he was death or something he refused to inform them that the person they were searching for had become a preecher to some kind of neo church that would end up being a scam in the best case scenanrio and a cult in the worst case.
He turned around, just to see that Cardin had begun to chase him around while rehesing the lines that he probably practiced for a long time. He couldn't help it anymore... Jaune began to shout for help.
He was safe, it took around half an hour but he had managed to lose the boy, and just ot make sure that he wasn't being followed he had gone with the choice of going through an alley that caused him to crash into someone that he hoped wasn't one of Cardin's friends.
"Salutations." A girl with a ginger hair and green eyes said to him. "Are you feeling okay?"
"Y-Yeah." Jaune said while getting to his feet, he felt he had just hit a metal wall. "Sorry for crashing into you."
"There is no problem." The girl said with a happy go lucky tone. "I'm Penny."
"Jaune." He said while streching his hand... Just to feel it getting crushed to powder by the girl, he really didn't care though. In his dreams Nyarlat had done so much worse. "You should be careful with that squeeze, just a light one would be enough."
"Really, but I read that a strong hadnshake was the best." Penny asked the boy with an innocent look in her eyes.
"Yes, but there has to be a limit with how much strenght you put into it." Jaune told her before going past her. "Sorry but I have to leave, be careful from now on!"
"Undesrtood." Penny said while waving goodbye to the boy.
As he went out of the alley Jaune looked around, searching for any interesting land marks in the street he was at right now. He really couldn't tell where he was but maybe if he explored a little more he would end up finding something that could help him.
Someone collapsed right besides him.
Turning around he saw boy. He was wearing blue jeans and and open white shirt, he had blue eyes, a tanned skin and pure white hair. He seemed to be around his age and was taking deep breaths while stting on the ground, he looked like he just ran a race. He took some more breaths and inmediatly adpoted a fetal position while sobbing lightly.
"Are you okay?" Jaune asked while kneeling besides him, he didn't seem stable speacially with the way he jumped when he heard his voice. "Hey, hey. Calm down are you okay, do I call the hospital?"
"I-I'm fine." The boys said before flashing him a "confident" smile. "I'm Sun Wukong."
"Okay, I'm Jaune Arc and-" That was how far he went before being grabbed by the shoulders and shaken by the young man.
"You need to get out of Vale!" Sun shouted to him. "That thing at the sea is looking for you! It killed everyone in the ship I was going in! You need to run away and go somewhere it would never be able to find you!"
"Okay." Jaune said while pushing the boy away. "Let's take a step back, a deep breath and possibly a mint for the breath."
"Y-You don't understand." Sun said while shaking. "I got on a ship to arrive to Vale before the Vytal Festival bullheads were ready, t-the boat was a day away from Vale... And then... They rose from the water, a bunch of tentacles that took a, way one by one me and another person managed to escape but I saw it! It was a monster with the head of an octopus, it had wings and..."
"You were attacked by a grimm." Jaune said while keeping Sun still.
"It wasn't a grimm!" Sun shouted. "It... I don't know what is was but it could talk and it kept on saying 'Jaune Arc' 'Jaune Arc' it was looking for you! You need to run and never come back or else it will kill you."
After the traumatizing event Jaune had decided to take Sun to the closees hospital and go back to his perfect day. He decided to go to a coffee shop, it wasn't really fancy but it had a nice place at the rooftop that would help him gather his thoughts and think about the words of the young man.
There was something chasing him? What was it? What had he done? Should he call Mammon? How could he contact him?
"Is this seat taken?" A voice asked, in the middle of his thoughts he had shaken his head while not looking at the woman. "Excellent." The woman said while sitting right in front of Jaune.
Jaune looked up at her in surpise and his eyes widened. For some reason Jaune knew that the woman was around if not older than Goodwtich yet she looked like she was around her twenties, she had some ver interesting features that shouted to the world that she was a faunus, like the big horns and the eyes that resembled those of a goat.
"H-Hi." Jaune said, so flustered that he couldn't even look at the face of the woman.
"Is there something wrong sweetheart?" She asked Jaune with a concerned look. "You seem tired would you like a shoulder massage?"
"I-I'm fine." Jaune said while trying to calm down his racing hearst and make the redness of his face go away. "E-Excuse me but would you be kind enough to tell me what are you doing?"
"Aren't you being a harsh one?" The woman said with a friednly tone. "I guess I should tell you though, my grandaughter developed some interest in you and I wanted to know what she saw in you... Up until know I do have to admit that you're quite the handsome young man."
Jaune's blush grew even brighter.
"Well Jaune, it was nice talking to you but I'm sorry to tell you that I have to go, maybe we can talk another time though." She said before flashing him with a toothy smile.
It wasn't until she was gone that a simple question formed in his mind.
'When did I tell her my name?'

Any questions any of you have with the lore of my multivese?
