"Isn't that sweet? I hate sweet." the jeering voice of Penny Lent mocks after Will and Layla share a kiss. Speed laughs, maniacally, standing at one side of Penny while Lash is on the other side of Penny, a smirk present on his face.
"You guys are a part of this too? Why am I not surprised? Let me guess, you three were also the ones that attacked an innocent lady for some herb?" Will assumes.
The crackle of the PA is heard. "Gwen Grayson, I know what you did and I know who's involved." the angry voice of Rosita Cortez announces through the loudspeakers, taking everyone back by surprise.
In all of the time of observing Rosita Cortez, never once did she seem angry.
Sad? Yes. Irritated? Probably.
Never straight up pissed.
"Tick tock, bitches. I'm coming for you." she warns before the feedback signals that it is done.
Warren is just as pissed as Rosita, knowing that it was them that attacked the woman that felt like a grandmother to him. "Go take care of Gwen. We'll handle these clowns."
Speed laughs as he and Lash make their way down the stairs. "Go." Layla encourages Will. The Stronghold boy just crashes through the wall.
Zach and Magenta go back into the vent, knowing that his power to glow and her power to shift into a guinea pig are not gonna fare well against those three.
Warren lights his hands on fire, and as Speed is about to run past him, he collides with a shadow force field, launching him back near Lash and Penny.
Rosita steps out of the shadows, pure rage fueling her and her eyes pitch black.
"You broke into my house!" she screams in fury, taking off her white high heels. "You attack my grandmother ! You three wanted a fight, now you got one."
Penny created duplicates of herself to fight off Rosita, but she's not worried.
Rosita goes for a punch, which one of the Pennys deflects but that leaves her with an opening to kick her in the stomach. Two of the Pennys try to hold her back, but Rosita elbows the one on her right. She lets out a primal scream as she lunges at the other Penny and they all go into a separate hallway to fight it out.
Warren lights his hands on fire again, and Speed is able to run past him. Warren chases after him.
Penny creates more duplicates of herself and they cartwheel towards Layla. Layla, who is not a confrontational person, runs away.
That leaves Ethan to fend off against Lash, who stretches over to grab him by the orange suit jacket.
Rosita is fending off against the numerous Pennys. She blocks a punch and sweeps the leg, making her fall down hard. She blasts shadow energy into the other one's stomach.
Rosita gets into a defensive position when a gleam of light appears and they all disappear. She is willing to place a bet that Penny was able to detract those duplicates.
"Yoo hoo!" Speed taunts as he is running around Warren. "Right here!" "Hit me!"
Speed continues to taunt Warren as he runs past him. While Speed is running, Ethan, who just took care of Lash, sees Speed running. He thinks fast and melts into a puddle. Speed slips on Ethan and Warren is able to corner him, launching a fireball at him and into a statue.
"Way to go, Popsicle." Warren compliments as he and Ethan share a high five. Out of the bathroom, a striped arm punches Ethan across the face.
"I gotta hand it to you, Peace, you are one persistent son of a bitch." Lash tells him as he wraps his arms around Warren several times, just like he did in Save the Citizen.
However, this time, Lash is preventing him from lighting his arms on fire.
"Do you honestly think Rosita wants you when she can have someone like me?" he asks, mockingly.
"Keep her name out your fucking mouth!" Warren grits through his teeth. That just prods Lash to squeeze him tighter. "Don't worry, Peace. I'll take real good care of your girl."
Warren just looks behind Lash and gives a nod. Rosita grows out her wings and she flaps them, the major gust of wind knocking them both to the ground.
"You're gonna be sorry, Stretch." Rosita voices out. Lash stretches out his arms but shadow wisps prevent them from coming any closer. She drags him closer to her, her eyes full of hate burrowing into Lash's soul.
"Time for a taste of your own medicine." she tells him before looking over at Warren. "Open it." she instructs.
Warren opens a full-sized locker and Rosita launches Lash into the locker, with Warren locking it in the process.
Warren races over to Rosita and gives her a hug. "You're fine. You're okay."
Roista looks at Warren, void of any emotion. "Then why don't I feel better?" she asks. She had all of this rage inside of her and now it is to a point where she feels numb.
"Guys!" Layla calls out and she turns the corner to see Warren and Rosita having a moment. "Oh."
The two children of villains look over at her. "What's up?" Warren asks her.
"Do you know where I could find any blueprints or maps?" Layla asks.
"There might be blueprints in Mr. Medulla's class. Why?" Rosita responds.
"We have 10 minutes before the school falls out from the sky." Layla confesses, relaying the message from Penny.
