22 Texas (Hydra I) Part 5
In the helicopter
An armed group viewed the destruction with a cold and indifferent expression.
In the group there are two men who stand out.
The first is a man who wears a full black suit with some white lines on the arms and legs; the suit covers his entire body only leaving the lower half of his face exposed and the striking thing was the image of a target on his forehead.
His name is Bullseye, a mercenary hired by Hydra.
The second man also wears a full suit but green and some yellow parts and, on his back, he has a bow with a quiver full of arrows. On his chest he has a symbol of a skull with six tentacles similar to an octopus.
His code name was Bowman, an agent of Hydra.
They watched as their target hid from their attack and their competitors did the same.
"HAHAHA look archer boy how they escape"
"Silence, our mission is to capture Alex Wayne and discover the place where the mutants hide"
"Well then how do we proceed?" asks Bullseye.
Without answering, Bowman addressed his men saying a simple order.
"Find and capture Alex Wayne"
At the end of his words the men get down from the helicopter using ropes, when they reach the ground, they start their mission.
Alex Wayne POV
Laura and I are currently hiding in a house next to the restaurant that to our relief was without owner, if he escaped due to the incident caused by Kimura and company or is traveling, I don't know.
We can't leave because the helicopter is watching us from the air.
As I watched armed men get off the helicopter using ropes, I wondered what organization they belonged to.
I'm upset, those bastards Kimura and company had left me without ammo.
I only have a katana and although I can use it against the armed men, the helicopter will be a nuisance. By getting rid of it I will have more possibilities to escape and for that I need weapons.
Fortunately, we are in Texas where almost every family have a gun at home, so Laura and I are checking out the place hoping to find one.
Looks like Laura is my lucky star because she was able to find a gun.
After looking at it, I saw that it was a Beretta 92 and that it was loaded.
I thanks in my mind at the owner of this house as I prepare to fight back.
23 Texas (Hydra II) Part 6
If I could, I wouldn't destroy the helicopter instead I wanted it so it would be easier to move and transport the children.
I could use Kimura's helicopter, unfortunately it's destroyed.
Besides, the helicopter of my new enemies is bigger than Kimura's, since it's military.
I watch as the group of armed men move to my position, I prepare my beretta.
I had the gun loaded and two more cartridges, a total of 60 bullets.
When I prepare to attack, I see the men look to their left and immediately start shooting.
It was Kimura running towards the men undeterred by the gunshots. Arriving in front of the men, she grabs one of them by the head with her hand and throws him against his partners. Of the six men, three evaded their thrown partner and the other three fell.
Kimura ignored those who evaded the man she threw and attack the fell ones.
The three men who evaded decide to attack Kimura, but soon one of those men is struck by a spear through the stomach.
It was Kraven who attacked, when the men focused on Kimura, he took that opportunity to attack quickly getting rid of the three men.
Unhindered, Kimura also disposes of the remaining men.
They finished off all the armed men in a few seconds and immediately hide from the helicopter that starts shooting at them.
As long as I'm glad that these «comrades» have helped me get rid of these men.
I can see that the helicopter begins to descend and when it reaches the ground, two men in flashy suits get out.
When I see who they are, I'm surprised.
The first man with the image of a target on his forehead is Bullseye, a mercenary who works for anyone who pays well.
And when I see the other person, I understand who they were working for.
Hydra.
24 Texas (Hydra III) Part 7
The second man wears a full suit green and some yellow parts and, on his chest, he has a symbol of a skull with six tentacles similar to an octopus.
He also has a bow and arrows.
I'm confused, that guy is the evil version of Clint Barton, his alias is Bowman and he's member of the Hydra Four program.
I decide to put my doubts aside when I see Bowman give the order to the pilot to ascend.
Without thinking twice, I shot the helicopter killing the pilot causing the engine to shut down.
Bullseye and Bowman shoot their bullets and arrows into my direction. I run out of there with Laura because I know that arrows are explosive.
Boom!
Boom!
Boom!
Moments later, explosions were heard in the place where I had previously been with Laura.
When we left that house, Laura and I hid in another one, unfortunately it was occupied by a «comrade» in the same circumstances.
"Are we disturbing?" I ask ironically.
"Not at the moment" replies the man who is Kraven.
We are silent for a moment until Kraven says:
"A truce for now"
"Okay" I tell him calmly.
At that moment we heard a sound that startled us.
Because it's another damn helicopter.
But we realize that they are not their allies, when from the helicopter a voice was heard through a loudspeaker saying:
"THIS IS THE DALLAS POLICE, PUT YOUR GUNS DOWN AND SURRENDER OR WE WILL OPEN FIRE"
When he finished speaking, a total of five police vehicles could be seen approaching Bullseye and Bowman's position.
"Shit they're dead" I say seeing that.
Curiously, Kraven asks me:
"Are those men really that dangerous?"
Seeing that I didn't respond and kept looking at the police vehicles, he shrugs his shoulders and also looks in the same direction.
Minutes later, Kraven realized that his question was stupid.
Bullseye POV
Minutes earlier
Seeing the police vehicles and helicopter approaching, with a smile I say to the arrow boy:
"So, what do we do?"
"Let's kill them and capture our target"
"HAHAHA then I'll take care of the vehicles and you take care of the helicopter"
"As you wish" Bowman says and immediately shoots an arrow at the helicopter.
The arrow seems to be guided by the wind as it makes a small curve and goes through the pilot's neck.
Moment later the arrow explodes killing all the passengers.
The helicopter turned into a fireball hits the ground.
I also shoot at the vehicles, with special bullets that make them explode when they hit.
