Keane brought up an interesting question today while we were taking a lunch break:
'Do you ever feel any shame or sympathy?'
'Yes I do.' I responded. 'It may not be very often, but I'm not some kind of heartless villain who wants nothing more then to cause pain to those she loves!.
Yeah, I was once called heartless and at times brutal back in my old days because of the methods I had to use, but that's just part of the job!
I love my team, and I feel immense pain every time they get hurt. Heartless thugs don't feel that kind of pain.'
Keane looked a bit stunned when I finished talking.
'You've convinced me! Though, 1 more question: Ever feel some kind of shame when you kill someone?'
That's when things got really awkward.
