Good day everyone, happy third day of Spring, my favorite season.

I originally meant to post this on the 20th of March, but stuff happened.

Sorry for not uploading much, I had a severe case of Writer's Block.

And sorry if the chapter's too short for a three-parter.

#118: Spring's in the air

Near Metropolis High...

Look at this day.

The sun's shining, the sky is bright blue, the temperature's warm, and the plants are growing flowers.

We see Aaron walking while humming on his way to school. Spring was his favorite season.

It was something to do with it being the time of the year where new life was on the way.

We see him enter the school right now and before he went to his locker, he went over to Pamela's locker where she was.

Spring was her favorite time of the year too. Well, Springtime and Earth Day.

She heard a tap on the locker next to her and she turned and saw Aaron leaning next to it.

"Oh, morning Aaron." "Morning. Happy first day of spring." "Thanks. You too. So, what's up?"

"Just wanted to stop by, say hi, and drop off..." he reached into his bag and pulled out a potted plant, "this!"

"Bluebell flowers?" "Not just any bluebells. They're the first bluebells of spring. Grew right in my front yard. I didn't mind them being there, but I knew someone else who might like them."

"*blushes*O-Oh. Thank you." she said, taking the bluebells.

That's actually kind of peculiar because bluebells grow in the woods. Either someone other than Aaron transplanted the bluebells onto his yard, or somehow a seed from somewhere landed in Aaron's backyard and managed to grow there.

The bells then rang throughout the hallways.

"Well, I gotta go. Have a good day, Pamela." he then walked off.

After Aaron was gone, she looked at the bluebells and smiled as her face heated up again.

She put them away in her locker and closed it, but jumped back when she saw Harleen who had been standing behind it.

"Morning, Red!" she said, "Say, me and the girls are hanging out tonight. You in?"

"...Sorry, Harleen. I can't."

"Aww, what is it now?"

"There's some...things I need to work on."

"Is it that H.O.P.E. place again? What gives, Pammy? Ever since you worked there, we never hang out anymore!"

"It's not that. It's just- You wouldn't get it. Sorry, I need to go." Pam then left.

What Harleen said was true. After that talk that Techno and Ivy had on that roof top, Pamela hasn't been hanging out with Doris, Leslie, Carol, Selina, and Harleen as much as she used to.

As a matter of fact, there have been less reports of Poison Ivy being seen hanging out with the Super Villain Girls as well.

What's been going on?

#119: Spring into it

After school...

I'm walking home and on along with me is Karen on my left, my arm locked with hers, and Pamela on my right with the bluebells in her hands.

I would give Karen some bluebells, but I already gave her some red poppies the other day.

Anyway, we're on our way to the park across from H.O.P.E. because I wanted to take pictures of the flowers in the park.

Karen offered to come with me, and Pamela heard my conversation as she came my way and asked to come too.

I thought she'd be hanging with her friends or something.

She's been quiet for a while though.

"You okay?" I asked her.

She didn't answer. I hoped everything was alright.

Not too long later, we made it to the park.

Man, look at this nature scene.

I could tell from the girls' faces that they liked it too.

The smile on Pam's face made me smile too.

She's been through a lot, and I want to be there to make sure she won't feel bad anymore.

I wonder why she was so quiet earlier.

#120: Let's find out, shall we?

Flashback, just after lunchtime...

What Harls said about Pam not hanging out with her friends was more accurate than I thought.

The whole day, Pam's been pretty much avoiding her friends.

At biology, Selina was left with an empty space at her table, because there was an odd number of students that day, and Pam didn't sit with her.

During P.E., Doris and Leslie were rambling on and boasting about themselves while they were running on the track, and on purpose, Pam ran slower so that she could get away from them because she knew they wouldn't slow down.

Now for lunch, Pam sat alone at a table, and her friends were on the other side of the cafeteria.

Right after she finished her lunch she made her way towards the exit, but then she heard Doris' voice behind her.

"Can't even sit with your friends now, huh?"

Pam looked from where she was standing and saw her friends looking at her.

She just turned around and continued to walk down the hall.

Her friends, if that's what you even call them right now, kept bombarding her with questions.

Things escalated with every question they asked.

It started with why she wasn't hanging around with them anymore, then to if Harleen was right about it being about working at H.O.P.E., but she was starting to loose it when they started to blame Aaron for this.

She really lost it when Doris said this:

"You're really gonna ditch your friends of that ner-"

"DON'T CALL HIM A NERD!" Her outburst made everyone in the hallway be quiet and look towards the six girls.

Pam took a breath before exhaling. She took the bluebells out of her locker when she went up to it.

"Look, if I told you all the real reason, you'd resent it in a heartbeat. And, if you want to be so pushy about it,

then maybe we shouldn't be friends anymore!"

Pam then left, not turning back to see her now-ex-friends expressions showing that they were taken aback.

When she was out of sight, the bluebells were speaking to her, and she replied, "You wouldn't get it either."

The flowers said something else. "He's not just a boy. He's...different.

...He's the most bravest, caring, selfless person I've ever met. If they knew that I dropped everything just to get him to like me, they'd hate me."

After that, we see her notice Aaron standing by his locker with Karen coming up to him. Pam went over to hear what they were talking about.

End flashback!

And, that's how it happened.

That's why Pam isn't hanging out with her friends, and why she was silent a second earlier.

Now, in the park, she's looking at Aaron who was laying in the grass amongst the flowers while Karen took a picture with his phone.

She smiled again before looking at the bluebells again, her smile fading.

She said in her mind, "Sorry guys, but I'm turning over a new leaf."
