The next day Katie went to visit the two in the hospital. Her mom let her do so and didn't tell Mertle. The rain was gone, still the sky was grey. Great, just perfect for such things. While she was walking towards the hospital, Katie saw Dr. Scratchensniff running towards her, his face pale.

"What is it, doctor?!", Katie asked in desbilief, seeing him literaly hyperventilating. "Ze...ze movie...it...", he couldn't get it out. This had never, ever happened on the movie lot before. Except...in the episode.

"Alright", said Katie, "Why don't we just go to the toon hospital and tell them?". "Ok", said Scratchy and the two continiued walking towards the hospital. "My mom and I didn't tell Mertle I was going here", said Katie. "Oh, zat's ok", said Scratchy, "How are you?". "Ah, fine, thank you", said Katie, "It's just that this weather...it's depressing". "I know", said Scratchy, "It affects many people's moods".

Once they came to the hospital, they stopped. "Are you sure you can do zis?", asked Scratchy. "Of course, why?", asked Katie. "No such reason", he shrugged his shoulders, "Just apart of my job". Katie nodded in understatement and they went in. Scratchy was glad he wasn't involved in the film making. Ever since Lilo came to their lives, he had been convinced what Wakko was going trough.

They quickly found Lilo and Wakko's room and stopped. It seemed to them that coming this far was a big deal. Which meant they weren't prepared for this. First of all, they hadn't come as far as they tought yet. Secondly, visiting two injured children at the hospital was no big deal. Unless...

Katie got the doorknob and turned it. The door opened slowly and quietly, revealing the white room with two beds. As slowly as she opened it, Katie closed the door behind them and they just stood there for a while. Scratchy was strangely shaking, not knowing what to do in a situation like this. Katie couldn't help but emphatise with him.

The two slowly got out of their beds and walked over to them. They all greeted eachother and shoock hands. "How are you?", asked Katie. "Fine", said Lilo quietly. Wakko just stared at the two, wondering why Scratchy was there. "You feeling betrer?", asked Katie. "Yeah", Lilo replied. "And you Wakko?", asked Katie.

Wakko kept staring at both her and the psychiatrist, thinking of a reply. "Depends", he finaly shrugged his shoulders. "Yeah, I understand", said Katie, then looked at Scratchy. He just gave her an unnoticable nod, letting her know they could start. "Ok, guys. Dr. Scratchensniff has to tell you something...not so good, I guess".

The two looked at eachother then back at the other two. Wakko sighed, "Alright". So him and Lilo sat on one of the beds and the other two stepped in front of them. "Ok kidz", Scratchy started in a nervous voice, "I'm asking you to brace yourselves for what I'm going to tell you now". Lilo and Wakko tied their hands together and listened.

The psychiatrist sighed heavily before spilling the fateful truth out, "Ze movie...it got successful. Your family is practicly rich now".

Wakko could not belive what he was hearing. The nightmare of the worst two episodes of their show had come true. Hooray For North Hollywood became the hit. They were rich and famous now. And to make things worse, he was a part of it all. Luckly, at least not trough the whole film.

He hugged Lilo, leaning against her shoulder and whimpering, "Nooo...". Lilo hugged him back, frowning. Tears formed in his eyes as she gently stroked his back. "There, there. It's ok now, don't cry", she said soothingly. Wakko sniffed, this was the least she could do to comfort both of them. "Thank you...", he whispered.

The other two felt helpless seeing them like that. There was nothing to be done. Everything was falling apart for them, especialy for Wakko. There was no point in telling them his siblings wanted to see them, plus not even knowing where they were. Yes, the other two Warners knew Lilo and Wakko were somewhere safe, they just didn't know where.

Katie and the psychiatrist just left, not wanting to bother them anymore.
