That morning, Nani got ready and headed for the airport. She realised it had almost been a month, and if Lilo wasn't where she was supposed to be, she could just pick her up and take her home.
As soon as they heard the yell, all four of them turned around to see Mertle standing there. "Mertle! What're you doing here?", asked Dot, surprised. At that, Wakko pointed a finger at Mertle, "She's evil!". "What?!", his siblings asked in unision. And so both Lilo and Wakko told them what happened.
"We're really sorry we didn't tell you earlier", said Lilo, "We didn't want you to worry". "That's ok", said Dot. "Hello?! Have you forgotten that I'm here?!", Mertle was inpatient..So they turned back to her. "I came here for your money!", she said. "Why?", asked Wakko. "Because of what you two have just retold", she said.
"You see?", Lilo asked, "She wants to hurt us again". "As for me", said Wakko, "I'd give it to anyone but you". "But you can't, Wakko", his brother warned him. "Yeah, I know". At that moment, they heard another yell, this time a little further, "Mertle!". They saw Katie running towards her. She came to Mertle and grabbed her hand, "Don't tell me you're trying to mess up again!".
"Leave me alone!", she exclaimed. Katie looked up at the balcony, "Oh, thank goodness you're safe! I need to tell you something". "What is it?", asked Dot. Katie sighed heavily, "I'm a toon as well. I don't age". "Ah that", said Dot, "Lilo, Wakko, this was directed to you guys". "What?!", now they asked in unision.
"Guys, what's happening here?!". "Nani!", Lilo exclaimed as she saw her. "Hey!", Nani smiled and waved, "What's Mertle doing here?". "She...uh...", Katie started, but couldn't finish. Telling the poor girl's sister Mertle actually tried to kill her was impossible.
"She turned into a villain!", Lilo exclaimed. Nani looked at her than at Mertle, "Is this true what Lilo's saying?", she asked. "Yes", she said trough gritted teeth. Nani walked towards her and Katie let go of her hand. "Don't worry, I'll take care of it", said Nani as she took Mertle's hand, "I'll be back, ok?", she turned to Lilo. "See you!", said Lilo happily and Nani left with Mertle.
