Moon and sun return chapter 17 – the hunt for the pieces
This chapter will be the enemy getting his first grasp of freedom while the heroes began the hunt to try and fight back along with gaining new gifts of their own
The story will be mostly the same with a few changes
This will cover episodes 4-5 of season 4 [ 31-32 overall ]
Rayla pov
When we saw the face of the sky mage, Callum told me who he was and made me feel bad about not being there for the two years. With the queen said she had to return and i was sure we would end up having to follow behind. then the elder on the council pretty much knew it would be for the best if our trio went to try and stop the fallen star, even Zangetsu within me confirmed the dragon emperors were likely meant to defeat the fallen star. I was about to not come but Ezran invited me to do so.
Callum pov
I knew before leaving we needed the mirror from Viren's lair and that it had some connect to the fallen star. At the same time, I wondered about my aunt and the sun fire elves and how they were getting along. But when Soren came with me to the mirror, he told me his father was obsessed with it. he also warned me about magic and how dangerous it could be. While my stronger friend lifted the mirror, I made sure to grab the cube while i wondered what it truly meant.
Rayla pov
On our ride, my friend the human king asked about the fallen star and was told he is a star touched elf. That lead to a war in Xadia until a human girl pointed to Aaravos as the source of the war. Then the Zangetsu told me that girl likely had a special gift of her own to help given by an outside source.
It was as the ride carried on the queen told us how the star elf gained control of all the leaders and how he used the thirst for magic to gain control of them. Then she told us that it took the efforts of all the arch dragons to capture and place the elf in a prison that nobody knew the location of. then she said each dragon only had a piece of the puzzle and the dragon king had a mirror to watch the evil elf wizard.
When he landed, we found the sky elf dead on the top of the spire. The first thing Zym did was cry for the elf that likely took care of him. it was after that, my former lover landed and we had to fill him in on what the queen told us. it was as we set up the mirror, the queen told us what it was and that when no light hit it we could see the inside of the place the star elf was imprisoned in. it was the queen that cast a spell so we could view the elf. But it was as we saw him, the elf attacked Callum and made him pass out. then turned him into a puppet. It was as he did, I heard a new voice within me said "it is now the time to fight back, you need my power in more than you ever have. I am Albion the white dragon emperor and the other is about to join the fight as well."
Callum pov
It was as the star elf was using my body, that I heard every word he said through my mouth and Shirayuki was trying to help me fight back. I heard him use my voice to taunt my friends. then after he finally insulted me a red dragon I had never seen appeared in my mind scape and said "no you cant have this one fallen star." Then he forced the elf out of me but through the mirror he blew a kiss as pretty much a challenge to the dragon emperors as the mirror scattered. Then the queen told us, you will need to further master all the power of the dragons with in the truly fight him. if what I heard about Albion and Ddraig is true, we will need their full power to truly get rid of this elf once and for all.
The next action I had to do was put the sky elf mage that died to rest by using a rune the queen gave me to turn him into birds. After that Rayla tried to talk but I still hadn't forgave her yet even with how much Shirayuki told me to. I still wondered why the dragon only woke now. Then Soren came to use and told use the person trying to revive the fallen star had to be Claudia and to find her we would have to find the clues with the first one being with the earth arch dragon rex. We would have to try and catch her before she could get the piece.
Viren pov
While my daughter and her boyfriend talked about the goo, I watched the creature that emerged and hoped it would guide us. but it didn't talk as we named they named the creature sir sparkle puff then followed it as it ran off.
Rayla pov
I watched out as the boys rested during our ride while Zym had to stay home. The other thing the queen and I had to put up with was the stupidity of Soren. I ended up falling asleep not much longer and we then woke up right before landing. On landing we ended up being met by two stone giants that called themselves guardians. We asked them to let us meet the earth dragon but even when the door was open, we found the path blocked.
When Soren tried to move the rocks in our way the two giant revealed there was a back entrance into the dragon's chamber. They said the path was too small for dragons and but the right size for elves and humans to cross. they said we would have to cross the uncharted forest, to find the path. Then the queen and the guardians warned us that the earth dragon had a very bad temper but Zangetsu told me "the red dragon said I will he be able to form armor that should be able to face the dragon on his own terms and enhance the power of Callum and my sacred gears. We would just have to say bankai out loud to form them around us." we then tried out the armor but we knew until battle came we might not be able to use it to full power and then each of the spirits told us the armor would have time limits until we mastered them.
It was then we trekked through the woods as Soren tried to raise our spirits. But I only shushed him as we barely escaped a party of earth blood elves. With that we knew we were in the drake wood and that we would have to avoid the elves. I then tried to go with Callum to make up but he clearly was still not ready to do so and I left her with Soren. As we trekked together, Soren tried to clear the air as he told me how Callum was and that we needed time to figure out what our next step was. part of me wished I ended up getting pregnant, but I knew to do that I would need to have someone help me undo the seal.
It was as I was thinking we found one of the older earth blood elves clearly trying to teach a younger elf to catch a drake. Soren wanted to help the drake, but I knew we needed to find the entrance and not be seen. I knew it was best to try and find our goal while Soren wanted to save the drake.
Callum pov
While I waited with my brother he tried to get me to confront my feelings and even Shirayuki said that controlling said feelings may help me find in times of need. I knew I was worried about the star elf taking over my body. but my brother guessed it was Rayla, I knew I had to find a way to forgive her and reforged our broken bonds. But wasn't sure how to do so. But I also knew gaining control of all my emotions would be the key to defeat that elf. It wasn't much longer that Rayla returned to the camp without Soren and told us not to worry about him. it was then I made us a pot of ramen to help us get through the day.
Viren pov
While we were trying to figure out the directions of the of sir sparkle puff, it took waiting over the fire to figure out what it meant and that we would need to enter the earth arch dragon's lair to help free elf and bring me back permanently.

The next chapter
Our heroes will have to both find their friend and the entrance to the chamber of the earth dragon along with dive into their new powers
But first Mashiro will reforge her bond with Toma while accelerator forms his own bonds
