A/N: this is for the 7spells reverse claim the only adventure and the pairing Hermione/Rodolphus.
Rodolphus looked over at his wife and asked, "Are you ready?"
"Not in the slightest, but let's do it anyway," Hermione replied.
He had arranged a flight on a magic carpet after she had told him about a scene in a movie she watched called Aladdin.
The both of them had been touring the Middle East and Southeast Asia as part of their honeymoon when Hermione had told him some of the places reminded her of it.
"We don't have to do this if you don't want to," he said gently.
"I want to even if I am scared. I mean it's not like we can do it at home," Hermione told him.
"Only if you're sure. Think of it as an adventure, and a way to see everything in a magical way."
Her eyes lit up.
Rodolphus knew that appealing to her sense of curiosity and adventure would calm some of her nerves as it would give her something to focus on.
"It's time," their guide said, coming over to them.
They got themselves comfy on the carpet before being flown into the air.
