Chapter 4: Through the ages

Its Been 3 years since that fateful day a "Meteor" collided with planet Vegeta destroying it in the process and so leaving only a few Saiyans left in the universe or so the story is told in the PTO, though there is one Saiyan that has not bought into that notion and ever since the destruction of his planet has been working tirelessly to grow stronger and avenge the destruction of his people.

Raditz is in a healing tank revisiting his memories the life he had before planet Vegeta was destroyed and his life in the PTO conquering planets against his will, but that was just temporary he thinks to himself as his grand plan is to bid his time grow stronger amass an empire and overthrow Frieza where his father failed. Contrary to popular belief Raditz knew his father led an attack against Frieza it was just in his father's nature to rebel against Oppression which is he suppose he got from his father.

Raditz wakes from the healing tank and starts to get dressed.

Doctor: Raditz at the rate your going you're on track to become lord of your own planet before you reach the age of 20.

Raditz: Thank you Doctor all to better serve Emperor Frieza, speaking of which would be as kind as to inform me of my new power level?

Doctor: No problem you're at a whopping 12,400 just trailing ahead of Vegeta by 1400 battle units.

Raditz groans knowing he will not hear the end of it from Vegeta because of his increase in power, speaking of Vegeta the last 3 years have truly been tested in the patience department.

Raditz: Thanks docs anyway I'm gonna get my units.

Raditz leaves the medical bay and goes to get the pay he earned from the new planet he unfortunately had to conquer though on the bright side he did not have destroy all the life on the planet, just bring them planet under the rule of Emperor Frieza who will then appoint one of the high ranking member of the PTO to be lord of the planet and oversee it for the Emperor.

Raditz reaches the financial department to get to receive the credits earned

Department worker: Hey Raditz you're in here a lot how many missions must you have been in to earn all of these credits.

Raditz: Well there's nothing better to do and I do like challenging myself so it's a win-win situation.

Department worker: That's absolutely right, more soldiers should have that mindset as you do, we could get a lot done.

Raditz rolls his eyes: Thanks anyways how many units have I gained from this mission.

Department Worker: let's see uhm yea says here you received 13,000 credits for this conquest so that will bring you up too 8,900,000 buying credits that makes you one of the richest soldiers in the Empire of emperor Frieza what are you gonna do with all that money sir

Raditz thinks to himself: So now it's sir you greeting little bastard

Raditz: Yeah It's not so much about the money for me more so the challenge and the money is more so a bonus but i better get going have a lot to do.

And so Raditz leaves the department and goes to the battle stations to put his credit to use in acquiring something that could help augment his battle strength.

Raditz arrives at the battle station which has all of the state-of-the-art battle technology but due to pride most soldiers would rather die than actually train, fortunately for Raditz he does not share those delusions and is obsessed in the pursuit of strength.

Battle station scientist: Welcome to the battle station how may i help you

Raditz: Hey I thought this was going more busy but i guess not, anyway I was looking for weight cloths or a local gravity alteration device and a sword if there's any around

Battle station scientist: Well this is a surprise, rarely do we get any soldiers looking for ways to gain strength, but anyways in terms of the gravity alteration device we have just the machine though it is in the it's prototype stages and we have a crush metal which is a energy conducting metal though it will cost quite a bit.

Raditz: Well I am quite impressed with the stock of the battle station. Who would I have to thank for these wonderful creations?

Battle station scientist: Well you're looking at him My name Raham, I must say I saw your tail you don't behave like the stereotypical Saiyan.

Raditz: Nice to meet you Raham and trust me I am far from the typical Saiyan, I have a feeling you and I will get along great, but how much is the total, a lot to do and not enough time.

Raham: Right the total is 110,000 credits.

Raditz: Thanks I will definitely be giving you a lot of feedback on the prototype, I want to see the completed product .

Raham: You know what Raditz I have a feeling you and I will be great friends as well

And with that both Raditz and Raham shake hands and Raditz walks out of the battle department as a kid walking out of a candy store with the gravity capsule and his new crush sword.

Now Raditz being a Rising star in the empire Has the privilege of having a tower all to himself and being completely uninterrupted which is a perk he definitely does not mind as he prefers to keep the extent of his abilities hidden.

Raditz gets t his towers and begin his training presentation and take out the gravity capsule and releases the stasis which reveals a device that automatically connected to his tower and materialized a monitor that had a display that showed 0g

Raditz: Alright I'm gonna take it up to 20g and work up from there. It says here that the limit is 150g so that should give me something to occupy my time with then.

Raditz proceeds to spend the next year training all while experimenting with the gravity device and his energy application in combination with his sword techniques. All in all it asked to describe it Raditz would describe it as a productive year.

We find Raditz getting out of his space pod after completing a mission

Pod Technician: We have a message for lord Zarbon for you saying he would like a meeting with you at your tower.

Raditz curious as to what the content of the message could possibly be about replies with a head nod.

Reaching his tower Raditz enter his building and is immediately greeted by the sight of Zarbon

Zarbon: Well Well if it isn't the would be Saiyan prodigy Raditz.

Raditz rolls his eyes: To what do I owe the pleasure Lord Zarbon

Zarbon: Well Little Raditz in leu of your recently recorded battle power Emperor Frieza saw fit to appoint to you your own planet to be lord of.

To say Raditz was shocked was an understatement he was under the impression he would have a lone rebel traveling from planet to planet destroying the remnants of Frieza's rule before eventually facing him, but now he would be pigeon holded into being lord of his own planet with its responsibilities which could be a double edged sword.

Raditz thought to himself: Well there are definitely some cons but at least I have a base to mount an attack and give me some time to build an army.

Zarbon: Well what is your answer I don't have all day Little Raditz

Raditz: Right sorry had to get over the shock anyway yes I accept the Lordship offer.

Zarbon: Right anyway you have 7 days to get your affairs in order the Planet you will be heading to is Eden it is a newly conquered Planet.

Raditz: Sure could I bring people with me?

Zarbon: If they are not required for the functioning of this planet then there's no problem.

Raditz: Good I have just the person in mind.

Zarbon: Anyway, that concludes my visit, also word of advice Raditz do try not to mess up I would hate to have my hands covered in your blood.

Raditz rolls his eyes: I'll be sure to keep that in mind.
