Afton woke up with a shock. It wasn't that much of a surprise as someone had just slammed the front door open! Afton quickly got out of bed and put his blanke- I mean robes on and went out into the living room finding surprisingly everyone there including a heavily drunk Qrow, Jaune, Ruby and crazy fangirl without mask. There was also this other boy there who seemed to stare at the him and Freddy a bit surprised

"Euhm hello" the boy said, hoping that someone else would start talking and start helping him with keeping Qrow up. Luckily for him Afton quickly walked up and took Qrow from his arms and began to walk towards the couch. Afton however didn't miss the scowl the boy sent his way as he took Qrow from him

"So a-a-an-a-anyone wanna f-f-fill us in?" Freddy stuttered as he looked over everyone to see if they were as confused as he was and found to be proven right as Nora slowly raised her hand at his question

"For the record I didn't kidnap someone for pancakes this time" Nora said to try and alleviate some of the awkwardness but in turn only brought more of it into the room. Everyone's gazes turned to Nora and quickly the hammer wielding girl shrunk down and knew to not keep talking

"Well euhhh I wasn't kidnapped by her. I…. This might be hard to believe but there is someone in my head named Ozpin saying he knows you guys and he made me search for Qrow" The boy admitted. Afton wanted to laugh but he just couldn't after he read his special mission. Did he need to confess to the voice in this boy's head? The watch couldn't be serious right? Right?

"Well if that is true. What was the first thing Headmaster Ozpin said to me?" Ruby said, taking a step forward towards the boy. She wasn't gullible enough to trust him from the get go but she did want to. Something inside her just wanted to trust him

And then it happened

His demeanour changed in an instant. His stance more rigid or better said more formal, his hands both laid on the cane he pulled out from behind him. His eyes even seemed to dim, making it look like he was just older than he was "You have silver eyes"

Ruby's mouth hung open as he said those words. Seemed like the new kid was correct. Still something felt wrong to Afton so he took a step forward surprising nearly everyone with him seemingly taking the initiative to talk "I don't think you are the kid. Are you this Ozpin person or the kid we were just talking to?"

The boy eyed Afton wearily. I mean who wouldn't after being questioned by a wannabe cultist lookalike wearing a blanket "I am Ozpin. Former headmaster of Beacon Academy not Oscar Pine. He is listening however so everything you say to me is also said to him"

"So you can take control of his body?" Afton rubbed his chin as he looked a bit closer at Oscar. His hood slowly sliding off and revealing his suit's face. That did get a pretty big reaction out of Oscar, taking several steps back as his eyes widened for a moment from shock

"You look different than expected" Was the only thing Ozpin managed to say as Afton stood up straight. Quickly as he did Ruby got between the 2 hoping to not cause any more issues so late

"Let's all just go back to bed and we go see what we should do tomorrow alright?" Ruby sighed happily as Oscar nodded and his stance immediately went a bit less rigid. A small smile on his face as he looked at Ruby

"I could really use some rest. Travelling through minstral with just Ozpin can be exhausting" Oscar said and walked over more to Ruby but making sure to stay a bit clear of Afton before quickly moving around him and Ruby to get to the bedrooms and take one for himself

"Well th-th-th-that went well" Freddy interjected into the silence. Hoping to get people to just talk but quickly he also dipped. He just wanted to rest now. Afton slowly began to follow Freddy to the rooms till he suddenly stopped and turned to Vanessa. He was slightly worried

Slightly. Not that much. He will never get her stalkerish behaviour out of his nightmares "So how are ya? Hope ya got better from fainting"

Vanessa jumped slightly as he addressed her. She got visibly uncomfortable as she was talked to by seemingly him in specific. "Well I'm doing better now. Just need to sleep of the slight nausea and get into new clothes. This suit is dirty" Vanessa chuckled softly as she pulled on one of the gloves trying to get them off

"Well that is great. Hope you will feel better soon" William began to walk away but quickly turned around for a moment. He had to just get one more thing out before he went to rest "Oh and if you stop with the stalker behaviour everything will hopefully stay okay"

He didn't even wait before walking away. He was gonna go to his bed but thought for a moment. Instead he went further down the hall and knocked on a different door. His non-existent breath held as he hoped they were still awake and his wish was granted. Slowly the door opened to reveal Oscar

"Huh? Is something wrong Mister Afton?" Oscar asked. Still a little uncomfortable with the rotten bunny man

"I need to have a hard talk with Ozpin. Buckle in as it isn't gonna be fun" Afton entered the room and locked the door behind him. He was just gonna get this over with now and not later

I swear next chapter is gonna be funni even if it has a dark subject
