Chapter 2: Over Again

Whatif-inator: I have an idea for One for All. Well two ideas for it. 1. Maybe have it so that One for All is actually six paths chakra passed down since the time of Naruto. Its full power has been locked because none of the wielders can fully access or handle its full potential. With Izuku being the potential wielder capable of using it to its full potential. Thereby capable of entering Six Paths Sage Mode(without the Nine Tails chakra cloak). 2. One for All could either be a slumbering Tailed Beast. It's weird that there are no Tailed Beasts here. You could chalk it up to them hiding and hibernating to avoid others but that's not fun. I think One for All is a Tailed Beast in disguise. This is because Tailed Beasts have always been passed on to new vessels to become Jinchūriki. The previous wielders of One for All have all died after passing on their quirk to their successors just like how aging Jinchūrikis must pass on their Tailed Beast to a new host because passing them on would result in their deaths. I think this is the most unlikely. In my opinion, the Six Paths Chakra is the most likely one. I do wonder though, where are the other Tailed Beasts? Are they in hiding? Or in some form?
Whatif-inator: Also if All for One is interested in the Rinnegan and its legends, will he revive the Ten Tails in this world? Will he revive Dead shinobi from the past (Edo Tensei-style)? What about the other clans? Surely not all Shinobi clans have perished.
ThermalsniperN7: Okay, let's try to address these in order: The concept of One for All being Six Paths Chakra passed down since the time of Naruto could have merit. It would pass down to each descendant of his bloodline unknowingly, leading up to the beginning of the quirk age. I like the sound of that.
Dragon Emperor0: One problem though. It goes against the established cannon theories in the MHA universe. But seeing as those are theories and not established law. It could work. It just depends on what's revealed in the manga.
ThermalsniperN7: In regards to what happened to the Tailed Beasts… We haven't planned that far yet.
Dragon Emperor0: But that's subject to change. I'll likely come up with a few ideas soon.
ThermalsniperN7: As for the Rinnegan reviving the Juubi and the Shinobi of the past… Not sure, but it would not surprise me if All for One planned to do something like this. It fits his M.O.
Dragon Emperor0: Uh, holster that thought, I may have an idea for the Ten Tails.
Knightmare Lord: Oh boy, finally, a GOOD Rinnegan Izuku story! Looking forward to more!
ThermalsniperN7: Here's more!
Dragon Emperor0: You can't see it, but I've got a smug grin on my face.
Guest: This is going to be good
ThermalsniperN7: Yes it is.
Dragon Emperor0: Hold onto your butts.
Guest: I do not want Izuku to get One for All in this story.
ThermasniperN7: It's a trademark of MHA, so this request is denied.
Dragon Emperor0: Our stories. Our Rules.
Guest: Interesting idea here! I like the idea that Izuku has Decay, only for All For One to steal it and have the Doctor implant the Rinnegan! Keep up the good work and stay safe from the coronavirus!
Dragon Emperor0: Don't bring that paranoid shit here. But all the same, I'm glad you liked our introductory chapter.
ProjectIceman: How ironic AFO. You've created yet another monster unintentionally LOL
Dragon Emperor0: Just like with Ares and Kratos.
ThermalsniperN7: Izuku's going for AFO when the truth becomes known.
C: Loved the chapter
ThermalsniperN7: Thanks.
BreezyTypes: Please write this more, it really is an interesting concept
ThermalsniperN7: More just arrived.
Yung Chxst: I've had this idea in my head for so long I'm so happy someone so talented could put it out into the world
ThermalsniperN7: You're welcome.

Izuku Entrance Exam: Over Again (Pain Rap) by Rustage Feat. Fabvl
Izuku's Rinnegan eyes seemed to narrow and raise as his face contorted in confusion, his face drying from the tears he'd just spilt just a few minutes earlier. Inherit? Just what exactly was he talking about?
"What do you mean by inherit?" The green haired teen wondered.
"It's exactly what it sounds like: my quirk is a sacred torch that's been passed down for generations!" The No. 1 Hero told him, his arms spread.
"Wait, so, it's a quirk that can be passed on and get stronger as it goes down?" Izuku inquired, the wording the Symbol of Peace was using being something he was picking up on.
"Exactly." All Might nodded in reply. "The name of this quirk is One for All!" He added with a grin.
"One for All, huh?" The boy questioned as he let the name roll on his tongue. "And you think I'm worthy enough to have it? Even though I have a power that's corrupted so many others?" He asked.
"It'll corrupt you only if you believe it can." The blonde man told him reassuringly. "And yes, I do think you're worthy enough to inherit it." He added, placing a hand on his shoulder.
"Then…" Izuku said as he looked up, looking his idol in the eyes. "I accept." He nodded.
"Excellent." The symbol of peace smiled.
(The next day)
Izuku growled as he dragged a refrigerator across the ground of a local coastline, Dagoba Beach, with the help of the six arms that his Asura Path allowed him to generate on himself. His heels dug into the ground as he trudged along.
Apparently this was being done to build up his body to make it compatible with One for All. Izuku didn't really see the point, as he was used to similar backlash with his Deva Path, but still—All Might insisted it be done as a sort of precaution.
"Come on, Young Midoriya! We've got ten months until the entrance exams!" His teacher called as he sat atop the fridge he was dragging.
"Easy for you to say! I've got like 200 pounds to drag!" The viridian haired teen shot back. "With an extra 600 on top!" He added.
"Nah, I've lost weight so I'm down to 560 these days. In this form at least." All Might deflected. "Though with me having my stomach back, that's likely to change." He added.
"Great…" Izuku groaned before he let go of the fridge and slumped over, trying to catch his breath. His extra arms retracted in a show of pure body horror as he slumped against the appliance, his bangs sitting in his face, causing him to blow them out of his way. "I should really consider getting a haircut…" He hummed to himself, twirling the long hair draped over his right eye.
"I think you should. Long hair can be a hindrance in hero work unless a person has a quirk revolving around it." His teacher told him.
"That is true." Izuku mused. "Anyway, you said that this workout routine is supposed to help get my body ready. I'm guessing that all this garbage is supposed to help with different muscle groups?" He questioned.
"Precisely." The hero nodded in reply. "If we keep going like this, you'll be ready when the time comes for the entrance exams." He added.
"Hopefully your plan we talked about should work, then." The Rinnegan eyed teen nodded as he turned back to the trash in question.
And with that, he began ten months of absolute hell.
(Timeskip)
Izuku sighed as he hopped down from a barber stool that he was sitting in thirty minutes earlier before turning to the person who just finished styling his hairstyle.
Said person was the fourth most popular hero, Best Jeanist, and he looked at the boy's new hairdo with scrutiny as All Might stood with him.
"Well?" All Might asked the five time award winner and his pupil.
Izuku's hair was now much shorter than it was before, and neater, to put it simply. He could finally see clearly. Additionally, he also had two silver ball piercings above the back of his left eyebrow, per his request.
"It's… adequate." Best Jeanist commented frankly as he looked at the teen's hair.
"It works." The boy nodded in agreement, fiddling with his now shorter bangs. "It'll take a bit of getting used to, but I'll get over it." He shrugged, getting a sigh of relief from his mentor.
(Timeskip)
It was not long after this trip to the barber that his ten month training period reached its four month mark, and when the boy went back to school that week, everyone soon saw his new look.
Needless to say, it left a strong impression.
"Uh, Deku? What prompted the new look?" Katsuki couldn't help but ask, completely put off. After seeing Izuku with bangs covering his eyes, he grew rather used to them. Seeing him with shorter hair was actually off putting.
"A lot of things…. Including, but not limited to, me finally being fed up with walking into things." Izuku replied with a shrug.
"Okay, that's fair." Another student commented as Izuku returned to his notes while they waited for class to begin.
"Is it just me, or does Midoriya seem… Different now?" One of the kids next to Katsuki asked.
"Different how? Because of the hair?" The blonde questioned.
"No, he seems, I dunno… Kinda cooler headed than before." The kid shrugged.
"You mean like a chunibyo?" The Pomeranian questioned as he looked at his old childhood friend. "That would explain the… Nah. Deku wouldn't get that edgy." He dismissed, not thinking about it.
(Timeskip)
This continued to go on a steady track, with every week and session causing Izuku to become stronger physically and more confident in his ability to control his Rinnegan powers, which reflected in him beginning to steadily lose his more timid and soft spoken ways and become much more confident and controlled. Even stoic at times.
Katsuki could scarcely recognize him anymore, actually. But he was still the same Izuku at heart. He still took time to over analyze things, he still mumbled under his breath, he still obsessed over heroes, and he was still unflinchingly positive the majority of the time.
He just seemed more… tempered, now, focused.
One such instance of the uncanny and cringy Izuku came through during class one day when he started mumbling under his breath about adjusting a "training regiment" he was using in preparation of UA's exams… not even noticing that he was musing loud enough to be heard by the class and the teacher.
The rest of the class had looked at him oddly before his teacher tapped him on the head with his quirk, shutting him up and letting class resume. Katsuki just looked off to the side with light irritation.
(Timeskip)
Seven months into the training regime, Izuku was carrying a safe while All Might—considerably more built now that his muscle mass had started coming back to him—was jogging ahead, until he suddenly fell over in exhaustion.
"What the–?" The blonde uttered as he stopped and turned around. "Hey, don't stop and drop now! The exams are three months away! Do you really wanna send all that training down the toilet and take it easy?" He questioned.
However, upon closer inspection, he noticed that slacking off wasn't the issue here.
"You're overworked." He deduced. "You've been going beyond the required amount. The plan was built with your body in mind, and going over the limits is going to have the opposite effect of what we want!" He told his student.
"The koi does not become a dragon by simply going with the current." The boy stated shakily as he struggled to force himself up. "I have to fight against the current, work harder, climb the waterfall." He continued as he struggled to his feet, his body threatening to fall. "I don't want to simply get into UA. Become a hero. I want to excel. I want to ascend!" He exclaimed, forcing himself to lean up straight. "I want to become the greatest–to ascend to the rank of a Dragon in this world of fish." He added, eyes fierce.
'That gaze…! He's truly committed!' All Might thought, stunned. A moment later, he smiled and went buff. "That's the spirit I like about you, young demigod! You wear your convictions well. They suit you. However, now is not the time to rush progress. But fear not. Leave it to this old man to adjust your plan!" He told his student with his trademark smile.
"You're not that old, All Might." Izuku groaned with a weak chuckle. "And please don't call me a demigod again. I don't need a complex based on that." He added.
"Haha!" The man laughed.
(Timeskip)
It was the day of the Entrance Exam and Izuku had finally finished the clearing of all the trash on Dagoba beach. He roared in triumph of his accomplishment before passing out, forcing the symbol of peace to catch him.
"Easy, Young Midoriya." The No. 1 Hero told his student as he looked at the spotless beach. "You've really cleaned this beach up! You've done it!" He exclaimed with a grin as he set his student down.
"Oh, I'm not done just yet. I need to top this off with the mother of all cherries." Izuku told him before he brought his hands together.
"What are–" The hero started to ask as his protégé started concentrating.
"Planetary Devastation." The teen intoned before a singularity formed in his hands, causing the blonde's eyes to widen in shock as it went into the air and grew larger.
Then it sucked up all the trash that made up the pile, forming a literal junk moon.
"AAAAAHHHH!" The boy yelled as he clapped his hands together, causing more and more objects to compact into the planetoid, forcing it into the air. "Now… Almighty Push." He said, and with a single gesture, Izuku sent it flying into space.
"... Oh." Was the only weak comment All Might could muster. He honestly never thought he'd get to see Planetary Devastation in action like that.
(Meanwhile)
On the moon, a being's eyes snapped open upon feeling something familiar. The being set its gaze to Earth, looking directly at Japan.
'I haven't felt this power in thousands of years. I must find the one who has inherited it.' They thought before launching themselves from the lunar surface towards the island nation.
(Elsewhere)
After Izuku sent his junk moon into space, All Might quickly composed himself.
"Now, I think it's time that you received the reward for your hard work." The hero said as he plucked a hair from his bangs. "Consume this, and inherit the bond of One for All." He added.
"... Say what?" Izuku uttered, looking genuinely stunned.
"You have to consume a sample of my DNA to obtain One for All. That's how it works." The man shrugged. Izuku sighed in defeat after hearing this.
"I swear, if you forgot to take a shower…" The teen trailed off monotonously as he took the hair and ate it with considerable difficulty.
(Later)
With a slightly nauseated sigh, Izuku made his way through UA's front gate on the way to the Entrance Exam, his mind calm but still pensive about using his newly acquired power–considering the still unknown risks.
Such as One for All and his Rinnegan possibly clashing, but that possibility was actually minor. Regardless, risk was still there, albeit in an undefined form.
These private musings were interrupted, however, whenhowever, when a voice suddenly called out to him from behind.
"Hey, Izuku!" The voice of Himiko called, causing him to turn and see the cat eyed blonde and Ochako walking up to him.
"Oh, it's you two." The Rinnegan eyed teen nodded neutrally as he turned to them, letting them see his new hair and minimalist jewelry. "Toga and Uraraka, right?" He asked them.
Though as he did, Himiko's face immediately went red when she saw what the boy's new cooler style and persona looked like after having not seen him in ten months.
'Oh no, he's HOT!' The gyaru/yandere girl thought as her body reacted in arousal.
"Uh, are you okay?" Izuku asked in confusion upon noticing Himiko's becoming a blonde tomato.
"Oh! Uh, yeah, yeah. I'm fine." Himiko nodded.
"So I guess you finally decided to get a haircut, huh?" Ochako questioned as she got Izuku's attention.
"Yeah. I finally got sick of walking into things." Izuku replied with a shrug.
"Well I'm certainly not complaining..." Himiko noted idly, causing him to look at her.
"Huh?" He questioned.
"Nothing " She deflected as she looked at her phone, which had a syringe and cat phone charm. "Oh shit, we're gonna be late!" The girl groaned, grabbing Ochako's wrist. "Come on, home girl, we gotta move!" She added, booking it towards the door.
"Yikes!" Ochako yelped in unison as they scrambled for their exams.
This left Izuku rather confused as he followed behind them. "... Girls are a totally different species…" He mused as he jogged into the school.
(Later)
Sitting down next to Katsuki, Izuku sat through the explanation of the practical exam with very little to say about it. Except perhaps geeking out about Present Mic being there and the odd comment about the structure of the test itself.
"So we're being split up so we can't help each other, but at the same time being grouped at random." He noted to his pomeranian friend. "This is kinda weird." He added.
"Our numbers are one after the other too, which adds to that." Katsuki nodded in agreement.
However, any explanation of this was cut off when one of the other examinees stood up to ask a question. Izuku noted that he had blue hair and glasses.
"Excuse me!" Said examinee called as he held up a paper. "The forms specifically state that there are four villain types, and you've only explained three! With all respect, if this is a mistake on official UA material, it is shameful. We are exemplary students who expect more from the country's best program. So a mistake like this is unbecoming of an institution like UA!" He declared.
"Stick in the mud, much?" Katsuki questioned, causing Izuku to nonchalantly roll his eyes with a slight smirk.
"Oh, that. The fourth type is really just an obstacle to get around, so there's no real point in fighting it." Present Mic explained.
"Ah yes, thank you!" The blue haired teen nodded with a bow before turning to Izuku. "And you with the odd eyes–" He started before Izuku cut him off.
"Never call them odd again!" The Rinnegan bearer barked. He took pride in his eyes and what they did, not unlike how some people took pride in their quirks, so he found himself being offended by remarks about them being odd.
"... Nevermind." The now spooked student uttered as he sat back down, the wind being taken from his sails.
"Hmph." The boy huffed, finally fed up with this prelude.
(Later)
At the training ground known as Training Beta, or site B, the kids all gathered around in their respective exercise get ups to wait for everything to get started.
Izuku, for example, was dressed in a pair of dark green track pants, his red sneakers, and a black Akatauki hoodie with a red interior.
'Looks like everyone's basically ready for this.' He mused as he looked around. Then he spotted Ochako, but no sign of Himiko. 'Huh. guess they got separated by this whole thing too. I think a familiar face would ease her nerves.' He mused as he started walking in Ochako's direction.
As the boy made his way to her, the rather cold aura he was radiating caused everyone to give him a wide berth, especially given his state of attire–given the associations that the red clouds of the Akatsuki had gained over the centuries.
"Hey." Izuku nodded in greeting, getting the brunette's attention. "Nervous about the exam?" He asked.
"Yeah. This is gonna be a chore to deal with." The brunette replied, rubbing the back of her neck nervously.
"I'm sure it'll be fine." The boy told her as the two took their positions. "Good luck." He added right as the gates opened and everyone started pouring in.
(Elsewhere)
Meanwhile, in Site A, Katsuki Bakugo was currently in the process of prepping himself for his match, when someone chewing gum beside him popping a bubble snapped his concentration.
Turning to the person he was about to murder, he found himself looking at a pomeranian blonde with a ponytail, cat-like eyes and mascara on. She was dressed in a yellow tracksuit with a cat ear hood and a pulse tracker in the shape of a tiger lily.
She looked like she was a gal who was into yami kawaii fashion.
"Hey, cat eyes." The boy stated, causing the girl to turn to him with an almost murderous glare, reluctantly pulling out her Bluetooth earbuds.
"What?" She responded, her tongue raking across her cat-like teeth as she stopped chewing her gum.
"Quit it with the gum. You're throwing me off my game!" Katsuki told her with a growl.
"Oh yeah?" Himiko questioned as she pulled out another cube of pomegranate flavored beauty care gum, and started chewing. "Why don't you try and make me?" She taunted, blowing a bubble and popping it in his face.
"You little–!" Katsuki growled before the gates opened, allowing the exam to start. "We'll finish this later!" He told her before he took off to wreck the robots.
"Yeah right." Himiko scoffed before she took off in a sprint.
(Elsewhere)
Meanwhile, back with Izuku, the boy was walking into a street center after getting a head start to look for villains to fight–when a 1-Pointer appeared.
"Target Acquired." It beeped, locking onto him as its singular tire skid along with it on the asphalt of the pseudo city street, kicking up dust and pebbles. "Engaging Target." It added as it rushed him.
"Almighty Push." Izuku intoned dismissively, raising his hand and blasting the robot into scrap. Then a two pointer took its place and rushed at him. "Universal Pull." He intoned, his hand still up and making the bot come flying at him. "Asura Path." He intoned once more.
This caused his arms to split in two as two chainsaws appeared between them, causing him to slice the robot to pieces in a violent display of carnage–oil spraying everywhere.
The subtext made it pretty clear what that would've been like on a person.
Eyes darting around, Izuku spotted a bunch of two and three pointers in a group coming at him. This was going to be fun.
"Let's go." He said as he pulled some nails that scattered around his feet and held them in his fingers–launching them with Almighty Push at the robots with the speed of sniper bullets–tearing through them easily.
(Meanwhile)
-UA control room-
"This year's batch looks promising." An intelligent voice noted as he looked over the monitors. "They have no idea how many enemies there are and must cover a vast area." He continued. "Some use information gathering."
This was punctuated by a kid with Dupli-Arms scouting from a roof while Izuku summoned his giant Crane to fly to a heavily robot-filled area the beast spotted beforehand.
"Others keep cool under pressure." Another noted as a boy blasted a robot apart with a laser.
"Others still use cunning and skill." Another voice continued as Himiko glided over and around the robots like a cat–slicing them open with her knives and throwing what looked like shuriken and kunai at others.
"And others are raw power." A western sounding voice continued, looking at Katsuki as he blew bot after bot into scrap.
"And some are a bit bizarre." A seductive woman's voice finished as she looked at Izuku's monitor as he descended on his targets–transforming his arm into Mantis Blades to slice apart one pointers. He blew back two pointers with Almighty Push and pulling them in again with Universal Pull, before cutting them through with a laser created by a cannon he pulled from his detached left arm. And then leaping over three pointers to blast them one after the other with an arm cannon that came out as his hand dislocated at the wrist and fired shell after shell.
"Bizarre, but effective." All Might amended.
"The best students use a combination of all these skills to succeed." The intellectual voice nodded.
(Meanwhile)
Back with Izuku, he was catching his breath after he destroyed a couple of two pointers that tried to sneak up on him by no look blasting them with a pair of gatling guns that sprouted from his shoulders.
At the rate he was going, he figured that he had a nice and juicy passing score by now. Still, he couldn't afford to go lax now.
"Now, what to do ne–." He began before he was interrupted by the ground shaking as a gargantuan robot made itself known, revealing itself to be the Zero pointer. "... Okay, that's a big robot." He noted, almost falling over when he tried to look at it.
The other students around him started running in the opposite direction, but Izuku remained where he stood, unflinching. As he contemplated how to destroy the robot, he heard a familiar voice.
"Help! I'm stuck!" Ochako cried from under a pile of rubble, getting Izuku's attention.
"Oh hell no!" He snarled before drawing blood from his thumb. "Summoning Jutsu!" He intoned, summoning a buffalo with the Rinnegan. A rather big one, at that, too. It was the same size as the Zero Pointer! "Six Paths, Animal Path Summon Number 2: Storming Ox!" He yelled.
(Meanwhile)
-UA control room-
"What the–?! Is that a giant buffalo?!" The western voice shouted in shock, drawing the rest of the faculty's attention to Izuku.
"The legendary Storming Ox." The intellectual voice gasped in realization. "One of the twenty or so summons that are granted by the Animal Path." He added.
"Wait, the Animal Path of the Rinnegan? Does that mean–?!" The woman in the room gasped in realization.
"The Rinnegan is in UA grounds." All Might confirmed.
(Elsewhere)
Back with Izuku, the boy's ox summon clashed with the giant robot and started pushing it backwards. The giant hunk of metal tried to resist by grabbing the ox's horns and pushing back, but to no avail.
Seeing that the steel behemoth was momentarily sidetracked, the Six Paths user turned towards Ochako and held his hand out.
"Universal Pull." He said, pulling the girl up on top of his summon with him.
"What the–?!" The brunette gasped before realizing where she was. "Oh. Thanks." She told him with a relieved sigh.
"Are you okay?" Izuku asked.
"My ankle's sprained, but other than that, I'm fine." She replied.
"I'll help with that after this zero pointer is trashed." The viridian haired teen told her as his summon continued to push the bot in question back. "Storming Ox, once we're out of range of the other applicants, I want you to launch this machine into the air." He ordered. "Think you can do that?" He asked, patting the beast of burden on the head.
He only got a deep rumble in response, but it told him all he needed to hear.
"Good." Izuku smiled. Ochako, meanwhile, noticed the name he called the giant animal.
'Storming Ox? Why does that sound familiar?' She wondered. She swore she heard it somewhere, but couldn't quite place it.
The giant bovine bellowed as he pushed the robot back even further before getting his head underneath the robot and launching it into the air by several feet.
Izuku then rolled up his right sleeve as he started calling on One for All, deciding to test it out as a last showing.
"Alright, let's go!" He growled as he readied his fist for a punch. When the robot fell towards him (and a panicking Ochako), he threw his fist forward and nailed it in its metallic face. The force behind it was enough to make it explode and send scrap metal flying.
Though this also left his arm in a sorry state, given that it was purple.
"Damn, that hurts like all hell!" He hissed, holding his arm.
"And time's up!" Present Mic yelled as the exam ended, but not before the scrap metal from the falling Zero pointer crashed onto several more smaller robots.
Bringing Izuku's point value from 30 (his estimate) to around 60.
"Are you gonna be okay?" Ochako asked in concern as they got off the Storming Ox and let it return to its home in a poof of smoke.
"Yeah. I know how to patch up a wound like this." Izuku replied as he grit his teeth. "Naraka Path." He intoned, causing the King of Hell to appear and startle the brunette.
"What in the world?!" She yelped. Before she could say anything, Izuku hopped into its mouth, which closed. A moment later, it opened back up, and Izuku emerged looking like he was never injured to begin with.
"Ah, much better." The boy sighed, flexing his newly mended hand.
It was then that the rest of the applicants started coming out of hiding, with the vast majority being absolutely dumbfounded by what they'd just seen.
"Did anyone else see that?!" One of the others exclaimed in shock.
"Saw it, still processing it." Another replied, wondering if they were hallucinating.
Izuku looked back at them for a moment before stretching as he bent down and picked Ochako up in a bridal hold.
The brunette let out a surprised squeak as she suddenly left the ground where she was previously laying, as Izuku then entered the King of Hell with her, the girl blushing hard as she was carried the way he had her.
Then the King of Hell's mouth closed with them still inside, and the brunette felt the pain in her leg vanish. It was like there was an unknown force healing her. When it was over, the mouth opened back up, and Izuku carried her out before setting her on the ground, allowing her to test her leg's state.
To her amazement, there was no pain to speak of.
"Wow!" She breathed as she looked at her green haired friend in wonder.
"You're welcome." Izuku sighed as the summon retreated back into the ground, leaving the boy to start leaving the testing grounds right as Recovery Girl was walking in.
(Elsewhere)
Meanwhile, the exam in area A was just about wrap up as well, but while the other kids ran for them there hills upon seeing the Zero pointer–Himiko Toga and Katsuki Bakugo were allowing the big hunk'o'junk drive the smaller robots in towards them.
And then they started destroying them, Himiko in particular showing just how wild and feral she got when her bloodlust got the better of her.
She showed this by slicing apart robots with the power, finesse and the grace of a wild cat, even disemboweling a three pointer down to middle after she threw a knife at its chest.
Katsuki, meanwhile, showcased the level of violence he was capable of and blasted the bots to scrap in pairs. This allowed him to stay ahead of Himiko a bit.
"You're pretty good for a quirkless wannabe." Katsuki stated, back against his fellow pomeranian's.
"Quirkless?! I do have a quirk, you ass!" She yelled as she took notice of Katsuki's shoulder having a bleed–and licked the blood–before transforming into a likeness of Katsuki.
"... My mistake." Katsuki amended with a blink upon seeing this. "... Copycat." He added.
"Piss off!" The girl yelled as she continued jumping around the now confused robots and kept destroying them… before noticing that there was glistening sweat coming from Katsuki and her own hands–which he used to make his explosions.
'So that's how his quirk works… Gross, but okay.' She thought to herself as she landed on a Three pointer and detonated her own nitro-sweat causing an explosion.
This was Himiko Toga's quirk–Transform. It allowed her to become a perfect copy of whoever she ingested the blood of and potentially be able to use their quirks as well. But, in order to do so she has to know how the quirk works-or have a very deep emotional connection with that person in question.
Though she didn't expect to have such a connection with Katsuki right off the bat, she guessed this was a case of the former since his quirk was rather simple on paper.
Go figure.
As the two skid to the ground–Himiko's disguise sloshing off her in a viscous liquid–the exam stopped, leaving the two out of breath and totally wiped.
"How… How many points did you get?" Himiko asked, panting.
"Eighty five, my count." The boy huffed. "You?" He questioned.
"Around seventy eight." The shapeshifter replied, wiping some sweat off her brow.
"Looks like both of us pass, I guess." The red eyed explosion user sighed.
(Meanwhile)
Izuku let out a small breath as he popped his neck from side to side, his muscles still tense from exerting himself so much.
He was still in his track clothes from the exam, as he'd left rather early, and was now walking out at around evening as the sun began to set.
The reason why he was getting out of the school despite his early departure was partly because of him being pulled aside to the infirmary by a rather insistent Recovery Girl.
(Flashback)
"What could you possibly need me for?" Izuku questioned, his arms folded.
"Don't get snippy with me sonny, just lean down and look at this light for me." The school nurse stated as she examined the boy's eyes for a few seconds. Nodding in acknowledgment as she noticed the scarring. "As I thought." The woman hummed.
"What?" The viridian haired teen questioned.
"Those aren't birthmarks around your eyes, sonny. Those are left over from a surgery you got when you were much younger." She told him, much to Izuku's surprise.
"Wait, what?" He uttered, dumbfounded by this news. "What kind of surgery?" He questioned.
"I'm not quite sure." The Youthful Heroine sighed. "But whoever did it was very good at covering his tracks. They're barely noticeable and I could only recognize them because I've seen them before." She added.
Izuku frowned at this. All his life he thought they were just simple birthmarks, but now he finds out that they're actually leftovers from a surgery he'd apparently gotten.
Who did this to him, and why?
(Flashback end)
The boy continued to think about this information he was given for quite a bit until he was brought out of his thoughts by someone calling him.
"Hey! Izuku!" A voice called to him, causing him to turn and see Himiko and Ochako running towards him.
"Oh. Hey, you two." Izuku nodded in greeting. "How'd the exam go for you?" He asked.
"Pretty well, all things considered." Ochako shrugged, blushing a bit from when Izuku saved her.
"Mine left me absolutely wiped!" Himiko groaned as she slumped over, her hair having come out of her ponytail and looked an absolute mess. "I'm so tired, I think I may start having one of my cravings again." She sighed, the gum she'd been chewing having long since lost its flavor and not really assuaging her bloodthirst.
"Uh, what kind of cravings are we talking about here?" The Rinnegan bearer asked with a raised eyebrow.
"Um… Don't freak out, but it's blood cravings I get." Himiko replied hesitantly. "My quirk requires me to ingest blood for it to work correctly so I tend to… crave it, sometimes. Particularly after a workout or a fight." She explained.
"And the exams qualify as such." Izuku deduced. "In that case…" He hummed before he craned his head to the side, pulling his jacket aside.
This showed the girls his rather spectacularly muscled neckline–which caused Himiko to subconsciously start to drool at the sight of it.
"Well? Go ahead. Drink up." He told her, much to Himiko and Ochako's shock.
"Wait, huh?!" The cat eyed girl stammered at the unexpected offer. She then looked at Ochako, who gave her an equally surprised look, before she let out a deep breath and tip-toed up to the Rinnegan boy's exposed shoulder–and sunk her feline teeth into it.
Izuku managed to hold in a hiss of discomfort as Himiko drank his blood to satiate her craving. He also noted Ochako looking on in shock. After Himiko was done, she pulled back and licked her lips of any remaining blood.
"Thanks… But… why would you willingly offer yourself up like that? I mean–not even my mom or Ochako would be willing to do that." She couldn't help but say. "How could you do it so casually?" She asked.
"Because you were hungry." Izuku replied with a shrug. "I want to be a hero, the greatest hero I can be. And being that doesn't just mean saving people. It means feeding the hungry as well–something that it's in my bones to do. No matter how I need to do it." He continued.
The shapeshifter couldn't stop herself from smiling and hugging the Rinnegan user in front of her, nuzzling into his neck as she did. Likewise, Ochako was touched by how willing and committed Izuku sounded when he said that.
"Thank you." The blonde whispered in gratitude.
"No need to thank me. It's nothing, really." He told her as he hugged her back.

A week later, Izuku was at home eating dinner with his mom. He would've been nervous about his chances at getting accepted, but he was confident in the score he'd gotten. His mom noticed it, too.
"Honey, aren't you nervous about your test results?" Inko questioned, wondering what was going through her son's head.
"No, I'm pretty confident in the score I got." The boy told her. "But thanks for asking anyway." He nodded at her.
"Oh. OK." The woman sighed in relief.
A couple of hours later, Izuku was going over a couple of notes while lifting a dumbbell when Inko rushed in with a letter.
"Izuku, your test results! They're here!" She exclaimed, getting his attention.
"Thanks, mom." He nodded as he set his dumbbell down and got up before taking the letter. "I'll let you know what the results are." He told her before he retreated to his room to look them over.
As he decided to open the letter, he first pulled out a letter from the school explaining that his results were on an enclosed holodisc inside the same envelope, along with his test results.
Written exam: 88%. Practical Exam: HP: 60/RP: 60. Total: 120.
"Called it." Izuku mused with a smirk. Then he turned to the holodisc and turned it on.
"Booyah! I am here as a projection now!" The apparent recording of All Might exclaimed upon the disc's activation.
"What the?!" Izuku gasped, nearly falling out of his chair. "All Might? But–no way, does this mean?" He gasped, looking at the letter again.
"If you're wondering what's going on, then the answer to that is: You're looking at the newest UA faculty member!" The No. 1 Hero exclaimed with a giant grin, much to Izuku's surprise. "Now then, you did get an amazing score, yes, but I'm sure you also noticed the rescue points that were also mentioned." He continued. "You see, rescue points were rewarded based on how much you aided and inspired others. Here, a video for you viewing pleasure on this matter!" He added further before bringing up a recording showing Ochako and Present Mic.
"Excuse me, do you have a moment?" She asked.
"Yeah. Need something?" The sound hero asked in reply.
"You know that teen that summoned the giant Ox… Buffalo… Creature?" Ochako asked, unable to figure out what the Storming Ox was, something that actually got a chuckle out of Izuku. "I was wondering. C-Could you give him some of my points?" She requested. "It's just, he risked not getting as many points as the rest of us because he was helping me. I don't want to be the reason he didn't pass." She added.
Izuku couldn't help but feel his heart tighten at this. His impression of the brunette and her bakeneko-like friend was that they were nice people who would make great friends.
But after the exam, and now this… his perspective changed. To him, they were practically like angels! It made him feel moved to his core.
"No need to go that far. He did just fine in the exam." Present Mic told her with a pat on her shoulder. This made the girl smile as she let out a sigh of relief as the video ended.
"You see? You inspired her, and more than likely her friend as well, with your selfless actions! This is what UA searches for in its applicants! And so, final score: 60 villain points and 60 rescue points for 120 points!" All Might declared enthusiastically. "This score has guaranteed your place in UA's hero course! Welcome to your hero academia!" He finished with his trademark smile before the recording ended.
"Haha! Alright!" The boy cheered, glad to finally be going to the academy of his dreams.
(Later)
Meanwhile, both Inko and the mother of Himiko Toga, Akiko Toga were pacing/and or standing outside their respective children's rooms, waiting for them to come out with their results.
Inko in particular was quite nervous while Akiko seemed reserved in the fact that her daughter's non combat focused quirk could have cost her a spot, despite her extensive training.
But regardless, she was resolved to remain supportive.
With Inko, she saw Izuku come out of his room and nod at her. That nod communicated all she needed to know, which made her rush up to him and embrace him happily.
"Oh my baby! I'm so happy!" She cried.
And with Akiko, she straightened up when her child exited her room, her breath held to see her reaction.
"... I got in." The ash blonde said as she looked up at her mother with a smile, tears watering her makeup. "I got in!" She cheered.
"Come here, sweetie." Akiko smiled, holding her arms open to hug her daughter. Said daughter immediately ran into her arms, cheering happily all the while.
And with Ochako she also got her results, happily and tearfully embracing her parents over it.
All three had gotten in. So now it seemed like the question was, just what did this year have in store for them?
Dragon Emperor0: There, second chapter's finally out. And from the looks of things, quite a lot has happened since the very first chapter of this story.
ThermalsniperN7: Oh yeah. Izuku's becoming a bit more like Pain was in life and he also got to use Planetary Devastation for the first time to get rid of some garbage… Though that second part seems to have gotten someone's attention. Who is it? Only we know.
Dragon Emperor0: And just to be clear, Izuku won't turn into a villain here. It's more like the persona he's taken on is much more of a fiercely pragmatic and ruthlessly practical kind of selfless heroism. Kinda like… Superman from Justice League: Gods and Monsters. Which itself is a really good example of Elseworld Superman stories for those of you who want a Superman satire that actually gets the bit. I really recommend it.
ThermalsniperN7: Anyway, I think Izuku just got the eyes of the faculty completely focused on him for a bit. Not much of a surprise, given that he literally summoned the Storming Ox in the practical exam. Everybody's gonna pay attention to that. And then there's Recovery Girl's assessment of Izuku's scars… That's gonna plague the kid for a while.
Dragon Emperor0: Yeah, eerie stuff. But let's not forget how he offered himself to the bloodthirsty cravings of an overtaxed Himiko. That definitely shows a side of his character that is going to be seriously important going forward.
ThermalsniperN7: Indeed it will. Anyway, see you guys next time.
