I don't even know where to begin.
I began this fanfiction almost 6 years ago. Since then, I've graduated high school and university. I haven't logged on for a couple of years and then one day I was on the bus and a group of young kids (yes, I say 'young kids' now) were talking behind me and one of them mentioned a fanfic they were reading and suddenly my brain snapped into focus and I remembered the nerdy little fanfic I had written oh so long ago. So I came on here to check it out, if it was even still up and lo and behold, it was! I saw a couple of reviews asking to update and I thought 'but it's been YEARS! People still want to know?'.
So I guess this is for the two readers still interested. That's okay, I'm perfectly happy and touched to do it if only for 2 people. That's more than I ever expected. It might be months from now that you'll read this; I doubt you check my fanfic regularly...probably once in a blue moon, right?
Well, I'm here to tell you that I am thinking of finishing this up once and for all. You'll have to give me some time as I'll have to re-read the whole thing and remind myself what I had written but the goal is: by the end of the summer, I'll have a new chapter. I don't think I've got far to go...I remember thinking that 2 chapters at most will finish this story up.
So here it is and here I am – after all these years. I want to finish this because I've been struck with nostalgia but also guilt over leaving you readers in such a cruelly ambiguous state of mind. Forgive me.
I also want to thank you, anyone and everyone who has read this story and reviewed...good or bad, I am grateful.
