Bristel is a coal miner from District 12.
She was crewmates with Gale Hawthorne and Thorn and is possibly from the Seam.
Biography
Bristel appeared when Gale was whipped by Romulus Thread for poahcing in the woods outside District 12.
She and Thorn pieced together the story of what happened as they carried Gale to Mrs. Everdeen's home.
They had seen the whipping and Bristel knew that it would have been worse if Gale had been carrying more than just a turkey when he was caught.
Before going home, she and Thorn were given money by Haymitch Abernathy.
Her fate is unknown, but it is likely that she was killed in the bombing of District 12, as she was not mentioned to have escaped to District 13.
