Christine rolled into the main area of the opera house and she saw Carlotta carrying an unconscious Erica.
"Carlotta," Christine said. "Put Erica down. I know that this is going to sound insane; but, I think that Erica is the phantom in disguise, and…"
In response, Carlotta sighed.
"I always thought that you were mad," Carlotta said quietly. "Look, Christine. Leave this place. Leave the phantom and those who know his legacy."
Having said what she wanted to say, Carlotta disappeared into an upstairs room.
In response, Christine got out of her wheelchair and she started to climb the stairs.
