Chapter 8: Changes part 6

Writer: "Last chapter"

Bron: "I have another dread news, something that might be worse than what happened here, I saw him, he's back"

Writer: "Now back with what follows afterwards"

Littlefoot: "Who's back dad?"

Bron: "Him, but what was strange is that he was accompagned with a green olive scaled Sharptooth, two Fast Runners and two Fast Runner hatchlings from what I've saw from how far I and he and them saw me, the two Sharpteeths looked at each other and growled and roared things at each other for a moment before they just all walked away like that"

Mr Thicknose: "By him you mean him, right?"

Bron: "Yes"

Mr Thicknose: "That doesn't make sense though, he was known to be a loner throughout until he mysteriously dissappeared one day, and no other Leaf Eaters saw and encountered him afterwards after the Great Earthshake occured"

Chomper: "A green olive scaled Sharptooth you say Mr Longneck? You must have encountered and saw my mommy from far then, and my daddy was with her"

Bron: "'Looks down at Chomper with shock and surprise' Wh-What?! Then that means you, that you're-"

Mr Thicknose: "Now hold on Bron, while us Leaf Eaters so I as well don't know a lot about him one thing is for sure, he didn't have a mate, so therefore your assumption about Chomper is false then, you just misundertood Chomper's dad from him, that's all"

Bron: "I-I see... my mistake then, I don't know what I was thinking for a second"

Chomper: "What is going on though? Have you something against my daddy Mr Longneck?" he said along beggining to be a little bit sad.

Bron: "No Chomper, no, not anymore"

Littlefoot: "We also heard about them from Feu's herd leader here, it seems they decide to come near the Great Valley again to check on how Chomper is doing since Red Claw isn't in the area right now and same for his Fast Biters, at least it seems to be, we didn't know anything about Fast Runners and Fast Runner hatchlings from Feu's herd leader though"

Ruby: "That must be my mom, dad and my younger siblings with them"

Chomper: "Oh, yeah, that must be them"

Suddenly something or rather someone swooped down from the sky above and landed on a nearby branch.

?: "My, my, my, such a sore sight to see right now"

Writer: "Everyone looks towards the direction the voice came from, most of them recognizing it, only to see the form of the one and only Pterano, Petrie's uncle, he was back again"

Pterano: "From everything I saw so far up safe in the sky, I can only say now I am glad to not have become the righteous leader of the Great Valley when I tried to wish on this magical stone that was not one, it means I don't have to deal with this big problem, my assumption about the Great Valley has diminished"

Mr Threehorn: "You again?! What are you doing here?! Only you were missing, as if we needed more problem from you like the last time, get out of here before I get ma-"

Pterano: "It seems one of you is still as dense as I last departed, as I have every rights to be here right now if you knew how to count"

Mr Threehorn: "What do you mean how to count? I know how to count! I know fine thank y-'realizes'... Oh you got to be kidding me!"

Pterano: "Ah, it seems there is a brain inside that head of yours, indeed Threehorn, five Cold Times have passed, exactly being today, my banishment is over, I've payed my dues by surviving in the Mysterious Beyond, as such like I said again I have every rights to be here right now, ready to be more than a bad influence to my sister's hatchlings, and I guess being their father figure since her mate cannot do such role, and speaking of her, ''looks down at Mama Flyer' how are you doing sister? You are not too hurt are you?"

Mama Flyer: "... Grandpa Longneck, Grandma Longneck, Mr Longneck, Ali's Mother, Mr Threehorn, Tria and Tippy's Mom had it worst than me, thank you for your concern brother..."

Bron: "So you're my son's Flyer friend uncle, I'm Bron"

Pterano: "And judging by your similarities with my nephew's Longneck friend l assume you are his father?"

Bron: "Your assumption is correct yes, I don't know what bad thing you did before to have been worth to being banished from the Circle of Elders from the Great Valley to the Mysterious Beyond for five whole Cold Times, however since you paid your dues like you said I won't judge you"

Pterano: "Thank you, that is appreciated, I see you share the same Wisdoms as Grandpa Longneck and Grandma Longneck does"

Mr Threehorn: "Well I told you what he did! He kidnapped Ducky over for a dumb rock he thought that had magical powers, no matter how ridiculous and how much nonsense this sounds like, using an hatchling as an hostage! Pah! If he had be just me he would be still in the Mysterious Beyond right now!"

Bron: "I see... it is indeed a really bad thing to do, however I won't go back to my word"

Grandpa Longneck: "'Looks down at Mr Threehorn' Friend, you and I and the rest of the Circle of Elders already discussed and aggreed on this back then, even though the both of us has the most autority here, saving Ducky's life from falling to her death and bringing her and the other hatchlings to be safe from Threehorn's Peak spewing burning water which includes your own daughter do I need to remember you was worth the reduction, we we're just, not heartless"

Mr Threehorn: "My daughter wouldn't have been in danger in the first place if he didn't took Ducky hostage, 'mutters under his breath'"

Pterano: "It wasn't me that took Ducky hostage, it was Sierra"

Mr Threehorn: "What does that change? They were still with you so it still makes you an accomplice that allowed him to do so"

Pterano: "'Crosses his wings' Ah yes, accomplice that I found out both wanted to betray me, you cannot trust anybody these days I swear"

Mr Threehorn: "Looks who's talking"

Grandpa Longneck: "Enough, both of you, what is in the past has passed so let's just move on, we'll have to ask everyone if they are all right"

Writer: "Ducky having done with healing spoke with Littlefoot and the others, even her still and the others ont having noticed Spike"

Ducky: "Littlefoot, Cera, Petrie, Chomper, you are back, you are, you are"

Littlefoot: "Hey Ducky, how are doing? Your devotion really shows, thanks for healing my grandpa, my grandma, my dad and the others of course"

Ducky: "I appreciate the compliment, it is terrible everyone were attacked, and it began with angry Fuzzies suddenly, I am so worried about Spike, he is my little brother, he is, he is, he must be so scared, if you find him please bring him to me, I will hang out around here"

Littlefoot: "We already find him and brought him back Ducky"

Writer: "Littlefoot, Cera, Petrie, Chomper and Feu then took a step away from Spike to reveal to them all here"

Mama Swimmer: "Oh thank goodness, thank you so much, from the bottom of my heart"

Writer: "Ducky rushed towards Spike to hug him do to how glad she was to be reunited and said this as she hugged him"

Ducky: "Spike! I was so worried sick, I was, I was, thank you Littlefoot! Everyone! So much!"

Spike: "I'm sorry I worried you so much Ducky, I feel so happy to be back with you"

*Place Broken Glass Sound Effect here*

Mama Swimmer: "... D-Did Spike just... just..."

Mr Threehorn: "Spoke...?"

Grandpa Longneck: "Yes, we all heard him..."

Littlefoot: "Oh yeah, we forgot to mentionned that to you before, you would have been less shocked and surprised if we did huh? Well Spike speaks now"

Spike: "Yeah, I do now, though I miss hear all of you grunting aside for when it was a name, and food, I also miss seeing everything in purple and hearing food sing around me"

Mama Swimmer: "... Is this how you heard and saw the world around you Spike?"

Spike: "Yeah, well before I did, not anymore..."

Mama Swimmer: "Well I'm glad for you, to be honest with you I and your Papa was beginning to worry about that when you see Tippy and he spoke way earlier than you"

Tippy's Mom: "My son will be so glad for you as well when he found out, and I'm glad for you as well"

Ducky: "I am glad for you as well Spike, I am, I am!"

Spike: "You are Ducky?"

Ducky: "Of course I am, I feel so happy for you"

Suddenly Papa Swimmer came rushing in their area, beated up more than his mate did, and him crying floodgates.

Papa Swimmer: "This is horrible! No, this is catastrophic! Please help me! Someone help me!"

Grandpa Longneck: "Why we see you rarely Papa Swimmer, please calm down and tell us what happened"

Mr Threehorn: "He looks like he was beaten up too"

Papa Swimmer: "How can you asked me to calm down down when most of them are dead and that I wasn't strong enough to protect them and prevent it?! I'm sorry, so sorry" he said before continuing to cry and sob.

Grandma Longneck: "Who died Papa Swimmer?"

Papa Swimmer: "'Looks towards Mama Swimmer'"

Writer: "Mama Swimmer suddenly felt dread when her mate did that, no, no way, anything but that, sadly however it is"

Papa Swimmer: "Most of our children are dead because of those rock creatures!"

Writer: "Mama Swimmer suddenly felt like the ground bellow her cracked open for her to fall in only for it to close after, the shock was too much, and she felled unconscious on her right side on the grassy ground as Ducky gasp after putting her hands in front of her bill before she began to cry as well, Spike gasped as well of that shocking news, Ducky took care of her father's wounds and they all waited for Mama Swimmer to wake up, when she did they all silently walked to the pond that was the home of Mama Swimmer and Papa Swimmer to see the dreadful sad side, corpses of their Swimmer hatchlings and corpse of their beginning of Time of Great Growing Swimmer hatchlings and younger hatchlings were laying there dead, all of them with glass eyes, the visual sign they were truly gone if the bruises, black spots everywhere on their respective body showing they have been beaten to death by small rock golems wasn't obvious enough, the rest of the children were there crying for the lost and needed hard comforting, it was now the hardest part, counting, from the first clutch they had together so the one Ducky is so the seven of them only the three seen at the end of Land Before Time I and her were still alive, from the second clutch that she laid the next day from where Ducky came to the Great Valley with Spike so when Ducky was five Cold Times old so seven of them again only three of them were still alive which included the one that egg stole by Ozzy and Strut rolled itself back into nest, and finally the last clutch, the one that hatched in the beginning of Land Before Time XIV, as Ducky was soon to be eight Cold Times Old, only the one that bited Petrie's beak was still alive, dropping the at least twenty-two to twenty four, twenty five including Ducky to a mere eight of them"

Papa Swimmer: "... I know this is supposed to happen do to how defenseless our kind is when it comes to fighting, but I didn't imagine it would be like that..." he said in tears.

Writer: "Hearing this from her mate angered Mama Swimmer which still hadn't cried yet"

Mama Swimmer: "What do you mean?! Hearing you say that is like you wished they died!"

Papa Swimmer: "'Looks at Mama Swimmer' What are you talking about?! There isn't a thing in what I just said that implied that! I just said the same thing as you know!"

Papa Swimmer: "Our kind is known to have that much hatchlings because not all them makes it to become do to all the dangers and the Meat Eaters, from my clutch I know I'm the last one still alive, as for the younger clutches my own mother had I also know none of them survived, and what about you? You know yourself and your sister in our herd we're in are still alive but what about the others of the clutch you are and the younger clutches? Go on and tell me!"

Mama Swimmer: "None are still alive..."

Papa Swimmer: "And I was there alone when they attacked us here while you weren't, I was too weak to defend them all but I saw some of them died in front of my eyes before I lost consciousness, if you had been here we could have save more, but I was always the one who took care of the bulk of them while you only took care of few, and other Swimmer families which I would never say the name of accusing you of favoritism, especially for Ducky and Spike while I defended you and said you didn't and loved them all equally"

Mama Swimmer: "I do love them equally! Well, did..."

Papa Swimmer: "Then why aren't you crying right now just like I do when you should?!"

Writer: "Papa Swimmer was right on that one, she didn't know why but she couldn't cry for her hatchlings and childrens she and her mate lost while he, Ducky and Spike were crying, enough to fear without thinking of it before of doing favoritism which she took hard, and yet still enough to cry, she couldn't understand what was wrong with her right now"

Mama Swimmer: "..."

Papa Swimmer "And you dare said what you say to me? What is wrong with you?! Until you thought of what you said I want to sleep alone tonight and as long as it will take, you don't have to apologize... I love you too much to say farewell to you..."

Mama Swimmer: "I understand..."

Mr Thicknose: "Excuse me to ask you this, however what are you going to do about, well you know? It won't be long before they smell and rot, attracting crawlers to eat then the small Meat Eaters that manage to enter here do to their respective size, it is wisely advised do to something before that latter point even though small Meat Eaters are not a threat to us grown-ups and elderly they still are for babies and some hatchling kinds"

Papa Swimmer: "We know Mr Thicknose, let me just... console my children right now..."

Mr Thicknose: "I completely understand, take your time..."

Papa Swimmer: "Thank you Mr Thicknose..."

Ducky: "'Sobs' Th-This is awful..."

Cera: "That was a big fight between Mama Swimmer and Papa Swimmer, I hope they'll be okay..."

Ducky: "I-I need to take care of all my brothers and sisters' wounds now..."

Mr Thicknose: "As do I..."

Ruby: "Let me help you with that as well..."

Ducky & Mr Thicknose: "Thank you for that Ruby..."

Writer: "Spike still in tears then walked until he's next to his papa"

Spike: "I'm sorry papa, I'm here for you and Ducky as well..."

Papa Swimmer: "'Looks down at Spike' Thank you son, you don't know how much hearing this means to m-, 'clicks' ... Did you just spoke...?!"

Spike: "Yes, yes I did..."

Papa Swimmer: "... Well, at least one good thing came from this horrible bad day..."

Cera: "'Looks at Chomper' ... You're not getting hungry seeing that, are you Chomper...?"

Chomper: "Looks at Cera with shocked eyes' What?! No! I feel more sad for her, Spike and their parents than anything, why would you say that Cera?! Me being hungry for Ducky's siblings would be like being hungry for her or any of you guys, and there's no way ever that I would ever be hungry for my friends"

Cera: "I was just asking..."

Grandpa Longneck: "I think everyone deserved to rest for the rest of the day and even tomorrow do to what happened..."

Tippy's Mom: "I still need to ask the Circle of Elders about me, my son and his friends Ailta to be officially residents of the Great Valley and members of it's enormous one of every and how many kinds' herd before..."

Grandma Longneck: "Indeed, 'looks down at Spike' and after that Spike you will tell us as much as you can, understand? 'looks down at Littlefoot, Cera, Petrie, Chomper and Feu' and that goes for you as well children"

Littlefoot: "Yes Grandma, in the meantime I should see what Ali wants to say to me"

Ali's Mother: "Yes Littlefoot, find her, Rhett and the rest to tell them they can stop hidding now"

Chomper: "I'll help him find her and them Ali's mother with my sniffer"

Ali's Mother: "Thank you Chomper, I appreciate it"

Bron: "Oh by the way Littlefoot, I don't know how it slipped out of my mind to tell you this until now but me and your adoptive older brother Shorty are not the only two Longnecks to be residents of the Great Valley, you don't know her but we found her alone in the Mysterious Beyond along our wandering so she joined us for safety this Cold Time two or three Bright Circle cycles after my last visit and her and Shorty quickly became friends, well not anymore, you'll understand what I mean by that"

Littlefoot: "Okay dad"

Bron: "We actually also told them to hide in two seperate group to be safer"

Cera: "Might as well come with you two, it's been a while since I didn't see and talked to Ali"

Littlefoot: "'Looks at Petrie and Feu' What about you guys?"

Petrie: "Me would like to spend time with me uncle now that he's back"

Pterano: "Not yet Petrie, like Tippy's Mom here I also have to talk to the Circle of Elders about becoming a resident of the Great Valley as well, they will be less thrilled to see me again I'm sure but not more less thrilled than old Threehorn here"

Mr Threehorn: "I might be getting old but I can still hear you, you know?"

Petrie: "Me guess that means me go with Littlefoot and Cera"

Feu: "I have nothing else to do now that the rescue mission is over and I didn't received any message from my herd I'm in yet when we were done since after all we soon have to phase as you three should remember talking about"

Chomper: "'Leans down towards the grassy ground and began to smell for Ali, Tippy, Rhett and Tippy's friend named Ailta' I got them, follow me"

Writer: "The four of them followed Chomper on the trail, slightly later on they found three of them hidding in a bush"

Chomper: "Ali, Rhett, Tippy, you can stop hidding in there, it's only me, Littlefoot, Cera, Petrie and Feu"

Rhett: "Are you eating us now first?"

Ali: "Rhett!"

Rhett: "What? I'm just asking, better be safe than sorry"

Chomper: "'Slight frustrated groan' No I'm not, I don't eat my friends for dinner and you two are my friends"

Ali & Rhett: "'Their respective Time of Great Growing long neck and head came out of the bush'" Rhett: "That is reassuring to hear"

Writer: "The two of them left the bush after that"

Ali: "I told you we had nothing to worry about Chomper still Rhett, because he's a different Sharptooth than all the other ones"

Writer: "Tippy left the bush next"

Tippy: "Is Spike with you guys? I want to play with him, we're going to have fun, fun, fun"

Littlefoot: "I don't think Spike will have the mind and mood to play with you today Tippy sorry"

Ali: "Why? What happened?"

Littlefoot: "Most of Ducky's siblings and the younger ones as well got sadly killed by rock kinds..."

Ali: "'Gasp' 'begins to cry' Oh n-no..."

Tippy: "'Begins to cry as well' Poor Spike and Ducky, I understand why he won't want to play..."

Ali: "It's so sad, and just the day that happens to be the one I told you maybe we'll all leave together someday happened..."

Littlefoot: "It's the Circle of Life, not everyone make it together at the end..."

Littlefoot: "Let's talk about something else... what did you wanted to tell me Ali?"

Ali: "Well, I'm growing, and have began my Time of Great Growing, 'begins' to blush from embarrassment' so I wanted to told you I had hatchling love feelings for you when we met and went on this adventure together, I mean I smooched your cheek..."

Littlefoot: "'Begins to blush from embarrassment' Oh, right, I see..."

Ali: "I know we're cousins but not related, 'looks at Rhett' but you see, since then, when I met Rhett, and even after I found out about his make up stories thanks to you, now that I'm in the beginning of that age and while it might be too soon to say for sure my heart went over Rhett and it's him I love now, especially after I found out why he made those make up stories when I asked him why, we share more similarities"

Rhett: "Yeah, Littlefoot, I think I need to explain this to you as well, you see, like Ali I was the only hatchling of the herd I was in, so like her I was lonely, at least until we became a part of Old One's herd, meeting Ali at that time, oh she was so beautiful and lovely, still is, I felt hatchling love feelings for her right then and there, but then she told me the story of her adventure with you and your friends, and while she never said it like that for me it was Littlefoot this, Littlefoot that, I had to do something to win her over and maybe her love later so that's why I made up those make up stories, I was jealous of you if you didn't see when we met for the first time"

Littlefoot: "Oh, I saw it, I'm pretty good when it comes to read someone else"

Rhett: "Well, I'm sorry for it, and thank you Littlefoot"

Littlefoot: "No need to thank me Rhett, it's in the past now"

Ali: "I thank you too Littlefoot for understanding my choice, you're cute though and looking at you just how fit you are right now I'm sure you'll be handsome and still fit when the time comes for you to feel those kind of love feelings for someone else"

Littlefoot: "'Blushes slightly embarrassed' Th-Thank as well Ali, I feel too young to think about that yet..."

Rhett: "It will come up sooner than you think Littlefoot"

Littlefoot: "I leave Ali to your capable hands Rhett, well, paws, I know she'll be happy with you"

Rhett: "Thanks, I'll do my best"

Cera: "Alright with the mush already, 'looks around herself' Littlefoot's dad told us you were in two groups to hide safer so is that's all of you here?"

Ali: "Well, Tippy's girl Spiketail friend Ailta was hidding with us"

Rhett: "But even when the three of us tried to stop her to leave this hiding spot because she was hungry, well you can see for yourself how that went"

Cera: "She sounds like Spike in girl's form"

Tippy: "'Laughs' Spike's in girl's form, now that is fun, fun, fun"

Cera: "So we're missing one already, great"

Tippy: "I'm sure he'll come back on her own, sure, sure"

Ali: "By the way, Tria your step younger sister Cera came before we hide there and asked Tippy here if she could joined her herd, she doing her own herd of different kinds, this is so cute she is following your exemple"

Cera: "Wait, what is that now?"

Tippy: "Yeah, of course I accepted but I'll always had some time for you as well guys, promise, promise, promise"

Ali: "Her and that hatchling Hollowhorn girl are so cute, after that Tippy said yes she said we now only needed a Longneck, a Flyer, a Fast Runner before she left, and a good Sharptooth of course"

Cera: "Oh, that's Mrs Twoped's daughter, her and Tria are best friends"

Chomper: "I don't know how her luck will be with finding a good Sharptooth..."

Littlefoot: "Well the dangers have left for now so you can go back with the grown-ups, as for us we still need to find my older brother Shorty and his friend he met over this Cold Time apparently"

Ali: "Okay Littlefoot, see you later then"

Writer: "The situation of what the prologue of chapter 1 told you is coming along point by point, only two left, anyway Littlefoot, Cera, Petrie, Feu and Chomper left Ali, Rhett and Tippy as they began to made their way back to the grown-ups as the four former followed the fifth smelling the way for them which lead them to a small cave close to the Secret Caverns but that cave wasn't connected to that gallery of numerous caverns, Chomper smelled this small cave was their hiding spot since he smelled both Shorty in there along with the new smell with him being mentionned by Bron earlier so Littlefoot called out from them from the outside that they could stop hiding and that they could come out since it was safe now which they did"

Writer: "When both left Littlefoot, Cera, Petrie, Feu and Chomper found out that Shorty's new friend was a Longneck girl or his kind so a Boxhead and she seems to have the same age as him as exactly like with Ali and Rhett before because both also have began to grow do to the two of them being in their Time of Great Growing as well, as she is appealing for Boxhead Longneck girl Littlefoot also might have an idea of what his dad meant but he was waiting for evidence to be sure other than already assuming, one thing however, on the other hand for Shorty's friend from what she was seeing, well let's continue to see what I mean"

Shorty's Girl Boxhead Friend: "'Blinks twice after seeing Chomper there'... 'screams', ''begins to hit the top of Chomper's head over and other' Get away!" Chomper: "Ow!" Shorty's Girl Boxhead Friend: "Get away!" Chomper: "Ow!" Shorty's Girl Boxhead Friend: "Get away Sharptooth!" Chomper: "Ow!"

Writer: "Damn, I don't have Shorty's new name nor for the the Boxhead Longneck girl yet and the former is about to say it, quick, quick, quick, found the one for Shorty and it has a nod to Bron's name, the second one now then, got one, and it's a nod to my favorite video game franchise of all time, perfect"

Shorty: "Jessica stop! I told you about Chomper before! This is him you're hitting!"

Jessica: "'Stops hitting Chomper' Forgive me, I reacted in instincts"

Chomper: "Can one time, one day, someone's that don't know me more react like that because I'm a Sharptooth? That hurts you know? And in both ways"

Cera: "Way more unlikely Chomper"

Littlefoot: "I guess this is the friend you met and become friend with on this Cold Time dad told me about, I'm Littlefoot, Shorty is my adoptive older brother if he didn't mentionned me before"

Shorty: "Hey! First I did talked to you to Jessica, and two being the most important one, it's Brodie now"

Littlefoot: "Brodie? You changed your name?"

Shorty(Brodie): "Well, Shorty is a lowering name for me don't you think little brother? Especially when our Longneck kind to me and Jessica gets taller than yours, and I asked Bron of one similar to him to thank him for what he did for me and that's what he choose"

Jessica: "I did not introduce myself properly, I'm Jessica, you are Littlefoot, Cera, Petrie and Chomper huh? 'Looks at Feu' I don't think I know your name though Flyer, what's the story?"

Feu: "I'm Feu"

Littlefoot: "Well, I'm glad you asked, the story of my meeting with Cera, Petrie and my two other bestest friends forever that aren't with us where we wandered out first adventure to make it to the Great Valley together for the first time before the next day Chomper came into our second adventure is an epic tale, full of laughters, thrills and tears"

Jessica: "It is, is it? Well, why don't you give me the highlights?"

Littlefoot: "Allright, I will, it all started on a Warm Time in the Mysterious Beyond before it was called that, almost no sound except some occasional Flying Buzzers, I just decided to take a break from wandering with my mother, Grandpa and Grandma, I was well bored to have eaten twigs before and to be alone with no one with my age to play with, and that's when I run into Cera here"

Flashback to Land Before Time I.

Littlefoot's Mother: "Littlefoot, don't you wander too far"

Writer: "Littlefoot peeked out his hatchling long neck and head from the dried grass to watch who the sounds of hatchling laughters came from, only to see Cera for the first time, chasing that spraying prehistoric bug, destroying a smll rock on the way, when it landed on another small rock, Cera approached it stealthly, thinking she got it, for some reason, she licked her mouth with her tongue from right to left as if she was about to eat it, leaning her head closer to it though, as it named implied, it sprayed a non-harming but normally dissuading purple liquid telling the other prehistoric bugs to leave it alone on her face"

Cera: "Hey!"

Littlefoot: "'Laughs'"

Writer: "Cera looked towards who dared was mocking her"

Cera: "What are you laughing at?"

Mr Threehorn: "Come Cera, Threehorns never play with Longnecks" he emphasised the word Longnecks.

Writer: "Cera stuck her tongue out at Littlefoot, followed by Mr Threehorn scowling and growling at him to spite at what he just said, Littlefoot's Mother called her son's name before she comes to pick him up by the back scuff of his scaly skin as if he was a cat before the situation turns ugly"

Littlefoot's Mother: "Littlefoot!"

Writer: "Cera, having been raised five whole Cold Times showed the same amount of bigotry she has been taught by her own father by saying or repeating the same thing he said before to Littlefoot"

Cera: "Threehorns never play with Longnecks"

Littlefoot: "Cera! Cera, hello"

Writer: "Spike was currently gazing at Ducky swimming in pond of her Mama and Papa, she was doing this to deal in her own way do to what happened, still, him paying no real focus on her however despite him gazing at her, as he had lots in mind to process and dealing with what happened as well on top of that, one thing at a time, so many things to think with that change, Spike felt like he lost who he was out there with that kidnapping"

Writer: "It was now time for Spike to explained what happened, Papa Swimmer before had dealed with the most logical way for his deceased hatchlings, leaving their respective corpse in the near area of the Mysterious Beyond where Littlefoot, Cera, Ducky, Petrie and Spike found Chomper's egg, for them to be quote unquote picked up by hungry Meat Eaters, they were already dead after all so those diet kinds had a better use than any of them, and not all Meat Eaters were mean, Chomper is a living and seeing proof of this after all, that Fast Biter family looking different than regular seeing in the Land Before Time TV series episode The Cave of Many Voices or that Fast Biter Mother while angry and chasing for obvious good reason after her eggs were good candidates of them using the meat a good use, meaning survive, of course though, there was no way to know who would get the respective amount for each, but it was better that way, everyone from before were back in the same area as him to hear the tale, only Ailta was still missing, regardless of that Spike began telling his point of view"

Spike: "Allright, this is how it went"

Flashback from earlier that day.

Writer: "Spike was currently being hold captive in a jail's cell, alone and sad in of the back corner of it, cowering for what his captors were going to do with him, and curled, some Orders and even their leader Hide came talking to him and to each other which he heard, but Spike could only understand grunt coming from each of them so not useful in the least, the quote unquote bars and were actually lasers, what Spike described as small pillar things earlier was keeping him in there, preventing his escape, not that he didn't tried to go through, as you and I expected, they shocked him on contact, and now while Spike's brain, like any other Spiketails' brain, so a Stegosaurus's brain while we know it from the researchs we made to have actually being the size of a peanut he didn't mean Spike was stupid, it was quite the opposite, size is not what matters, it's how you use it, Spike was smart, he his smart, he might even be really smart, he was just not using it as much as he could, the shock he received told him enough informations that as long as they are here he was stuck in there at the mercy of his captors, he would need help for that"

Writer: "Fortunately for him, luck was on his side, as the strange dinosaur from earlier that had broke the communicator for Littlefoot, Cera, Petrie and Feu to find this place later with Chomper having joined them after entered in here by showing up here, how? He have opened a portal to get in here unnoticed, with one simple mission in mind, help him escape, the thing he would have to do on his own once the strange dinosaur freed him"

?: "'Says this in whispers' Stealth, it's all about stealth from here on out, it's a good thing I have experience with that, and feeling their respective life force so they won't caught me definitely helps me as well"

Writer: "The strange dinosaur moved quick and silently, knowing exactly what he needed to go, passing in the ways the patrols of Order's Vet Scout weren't going in the perfect timing until he arrived face to face with his goal, the circuit breaker to Spike's jail cell"

?: "'Says in whispers' Jackpot, you might be futuristically advanced like in Sci-Fi movies mysterious Rainbow Faces, but you still need electricity and a circuit breaker like that for all of this stuff"

Writer: "The strange dinosaur examined the circuit breaker"

?: "'Says in whispers' It's locked with only a padlock? Don't make it easier for me thank you, I mean seriously, that's it?"

Writer: "The strange dinosaur then did something before beginning, after it he now a longsword that he grabbed on the left side of his pelvis with his right hand, with a swift and precise horizontal slash on the padlock, breaking it and him gaining further access to the circuit break, more especially the wires inside, he opened it to check exactly for this"

?: "'Says in whispers' Let's see... blue, yellow, green and of course red, it's a sky color inside 'chuckle', if I were a betting dino I would say the red wire, it's always the red wire in movies"

Writer: "With another swift and precise slash of his longsword the strange dinosaur cutted out the red wire in half, from a brief moment, where Spike was, the lasers turned off, only of them to turn on again however"

?: "'Says in whispers' ... It's connected to an emergency generator, 'slight frustrated groan' of course it's connected to a freaking emergency generator, why did I ever thought it wouldn't be as if I didn't know who I was dealing with here? It's never as easy as you think it's going to be, wait, hold on a second, if it's connected to an emergency generator that means it is connected to a emergency generator, meaning I can reach it from here since it's connected to it with at least one wire or more passing in the walls here I'm sure, well, time to outvolt it to break it then" he ended with a slight mischievous smirk showing on the left side of his mouth.

Writer: "The strange dinosaur then aimed at the circuit breaker with the palm of his right hand before he cast a medium level magic lightning spell, like he said it quickly reached it, the voltage, despite being a medium level it was just too much for the emergency generator to handle that it broke, deactivating the lasers for good this time, the strange dinosaur then did the same thing as before which meant he didn't have his longsword anymore before he turned towards the direction going towards Spike's jail cell"

?: "'Says this in whispers' It's now all up to you Spike buddy, to you to leave first or choose your fate before leaving, I hope you chose the latter to show to all like you showed to me and the others on my side of belief and opinion that there's more to you that meets the eyes, I can't force you though, it's to you to accept it if you choose it, not me, alright, I'm going to the Leader's Rock caveroom down there and hide in one of the corners there watching you in the shadows, exactly but not exactly like the first two mysterious Rainbow Faces did by watching you, Littlefoot, Cera and Petrie back then with the adventure with the Stone of Cold Fire dud"

Writer: "The strange dinosaur then opened a portal next to him with a hand gesture with his right hand being a circle, he entered inside which the portal close behind after, going back to Spike, he took careful steps as he left his jail's cell, they had stopped for a brief moment only to appear just after, he didn't have to wait long before it happened again and them seemingly for good, he was now free, but which way was back to above here? He was about to sniff for air, however as he was in a two choice way, the right leading to the entrance be also being the exit so the right way the left way lead to the Leader's Rock caveroom, something urged him on at the back of his head to go that way, he decided to choose it on his own accord and went left"

Writer: "Without him knowing it himself, as he was slowly going down and down more Spike was actually towards the Great Valley, only he and this way was way bellow underground and not only that but this was the only way for anyone to go that way, as their was no other cave pathway connected to it, meaning you had to go to the Lands of Mists and went down in the bunker underground cave there to go to it, there was simply just not another way than this one, several moments he entered in the Leader's Rock caveroom, the way to it and the caveroom was enormous, tall enough even for the tallest of Longneck's kind to go there, him seeing the Leader's Rock for the first time, having put there in the exact center of the caveroom on a natural rock pedestal, almost as if it has been made for it, a perfectly round rock, a funny rock, also looking exactly like a Shiny Stone as well, only it was the biggest one he had ever seen, and it's emerald green color reminded him of his own green even though his wasn't as beautifully green as his, around it, seven other way smaller natural rock pedestal were circling it, it being the place the Havoc Rocks were supposed to should have been left if Pikat didn't send them away all around, and her leaving the Leader's Rock here so long ago to hide it from the Order and the other mysterious Rainbow Faces along with another purpose"

Writer: "Anyone could go to the Leader's Rock there and touch it and just take it for him or herself, Spike was drawn to it, exactly like for the same thing for Ducky with geodes but no way that amount of obsession for them for some reason, Spike couldn't help himself and walked towards it, he wasn't walking on himself though, he choose to answered the unheard and not said call of the Leader's Rock, standing on his hindlegs once it reaches it he met his two front legs support him by putting his weight with both paws touching it directly, the touch was so smooth, suddenly Spike remembered one moment earlier with the leader of the Order's team, as said before all of what she said to him were incomprehensible grunts for him and anyone else hearing it from his point of view, well, except for one important bit, unknown to Spike and either Hide as well the cloaked dinosaur was also there with them, hidden in the shadows in one of the corners he was waiting for the right time, like the strange dinosaur did from before but him doing earlier than him he entered here in a portal of his own"

Cloaked Dinosaur: "'Says this in his mind' Come on Hide, you're stronger than that, your will is stronger than this battle armor that had brainwashed you, shows your determination to it and wait for an opportunity to come back to your senses for a short time"

Writer: "This exact situation happened suddenly several seconds after that and the cloaked dinosaur felt it from her, already prepared he was aiming his scepter directly towards Spike to do the only thing he had allowed himself to do, feeling it was about to come he used his magic on Spike, it invisible for Spike and Hide, for him to understand the next thing Hide said, and him understanding it instead of the usual grunts"

Hide: "The servers are the seven Havoc, Havoc is power... power enriched by the heart, the controller is the one that unifies the Havoc"

Writer: "This is known as Tikal's Prayed, renamed Pikat's Prayer here, a chant named by her name despite her not have been the first guardian of the Leader's Rock, a chant needed to be recited to negate the Havoc Rocks's power, however here it was also what each guardians has to said to become a guardian in the first place, Hide, thanks to Spike's blood related parents, like them before her, she was the only one left alive to know the chant still as both taught it to her like in Spikes herd before, each time the previous guardian died of old age, something else naturaly related or something worse, each Spiketails of the Spikes heard chanted it to the Leader's Rock to find the new guardian, the last being Pikat after hiding the Leader's Rock, that was the moment Spike remembered now as he thought of why he only understood that suddenly somehow"

Spike: "'In this thought' What does that mean? The servers are the seven Havoc, Havoc is power... power enriched by the heart, the controller is the one that unifies the Havoc"

Writer: "This was more than enough for the Leader's Rock despite not being said verbally by Spike, the Leader's Rock suddenly began to shine brightly of a emerald green color like itself, almost blinding for Spike to look at it, Spike's half opened eyes slowly opened to full as it went on, then his dopy face and not caring for much dissappearing, it changing for the focused one so normal one you could say as well, the change has been done to Spike, has him unknowingly reciting Pikat's Prayer in his mind meant he accepted willingly his new fate now, the fate he had since he hatched, but more important, the fate he choose"

Spike: "And that's how it went"

Littlefoot, Ducky, Petrie, Chomper, Ruby, Grandpa Longneck, Grandma Longneck, Bron, Shorty, Mr Threehorn, Tria, Mama Swimmer, Papa Swimmer, Mama Flyer, Pterano, Ali, Ali's Mother, Mr Thicknose, Tippy's Mom, Tippy & Jessica: "..."

Cera: "So, let me get this straight, you've touched a really big funny rock, said that in your head, but you don't know why it happened and you don't know how it happened, but you feel it's because of this that you speak now, is that it?"

Spike: "'In thought' Yeah, that about sums it up, I mean, it's the only thing that makes sense right?"

Cera: "I guess..."

Spike: "'Looks at Chomper' And Chomper here as a funny rock exactly like it, except his is way smaller as you can see and violet unlike it"

Chomper: "And Red Claw as another one as well, except his is yellow"

Littlefoot: "I wonder if those two funny rocks are connected to that really big one you found and saw Spike"

Mr Thicknose: "Actually, I was thinking about something else, Spike, while I do know you might had a hard time with this do to you being bellow the ground is there a possibility you know which direction you were going down there?"

Spike: "Well first, that cave going underground is the only way to go there, it wasn't connected to any other cave ways, and I'm sure I was going in the opposite of the direction of the Bright Circle rising from where it rises each day, you know, even if there was no way I was seeing it down there"

Mr Thicknose: "That way from the Lands of Mists? But that means you were going underground back towards here without knowing, it must be very far bellow our very feets then!"

Grandpa Longneck: "'In thought' Then what the Order called Leader's Rock when they asked us for it... could it be the really big funny rock Spike found?"

Littlefoot: "In thought' So there was really something in the Great Valley all along that we didn't know of before... well not exactly in, it's really more like way bellow us all this time, but wait, Feu's herd leader thought it was a clue for them to find something called negative energy, something that the Order that me and Cera fought and defeated him said I had in me, but what if Feu's herd leader was wrong and it being a source of negative energy they were searching all along instead so them be right about everything? That means I have something bad inside me, and whatever that funny rock called Leader's Rock did to Spike did something bad inside him which could explain his sudden change"

Spike: "I don't feel bad though, do you?"

Littlefoot: "No"

Ducky: "Everybody has a lot of good inside them, and everbody has a little bad"

Littlefoot: "'Looks at Ducky' I don't think he meant it like that Ducky, but thank you"

Petrie: "So, what do we do now that we know that, and that Spike is back safe with us about all the rest of this?"

Littlefoot: "'In thought' Hmm... while I don't like the idea I think the best thing to do is ask Red Claw about the Order and what does he knows about them and knows what they want from him, they seems to be the reason we haven't encountered him out there in the Mysterious Beyond yet, well, aside for Chomper here that is"

Mr Threehorn: "A bunch of beggining of Time of Great Growing children and two hatchlings chasing down a Sharptooth instead of the opposite? This is definitively a first"

Grandpa Longneck: "And by mostly Leaf Eaters no less, however, how can we be sure he's going to unwingly cooperate and tell you this?"

Littlefoot: "'Looks at Chomper' Well, Chomper here will ask him for us"

Feu: "And I can force him and make him cooperate if I want to and he's going to tell me no matter how hard it is on his ego, pride, honor or whatever else Sharpteeths have, I can promise you that, he's not going to resist that long let me tell you that much"

Feu: "'Looks at Littlefoot' As for your idea Littlefoot, it's exactly the plan my herd's leader and told me when I left you for a bit before I joined back here as we reunited, so it's the second part of the mission you three have agreed on, 'looks at Chomper and Spike' and that goes the same for you two now that you joined the team, no matter how much your respective caretaker are against it, they have no other choice than to left us leave again when we will"

Writer: "After Chomper said that suddenly someone came to the area they were in and walked towards to talk to someone in particular being Tippy's Mom, it being none other than Tippy's girl Spiketail friend Ailta, her having the same age as Spike and older than Tippy so a Cold Time of difference then"

Ailta: "Hello everyone"

Tippy's Mom: "'Looks at Ailta' Ah Ailta, I was beginning to worry where you were after hearing from Littlefoot here that heard it from Ali, Rhett and Tippy that you left your hiding spot with them because you were hungry"

Ailta: "I'm sorry, but this place is so beautiful and wonderful, and the green food is so good it's great"

Tippy's Mom: "Well, aside from those Orders and those rock kinds all of this place is great"

Tippy's Mom: "All" Ailta: "Begins to looks towards Spike and suddenly notices him'"

Writer: "I think Mickael Jackson sang it, she's been hit by, she's been struck by, a smooth criminal, it being Spike, and while his dopy stare from before was appealing his new one was as equally appealing, I know the former appealed me alright, 'realizes and begins to embarrassingly blush'... d-did I said that out loud?! Writer: "Tippy's Mom notices Ailta's gaze towards Spike, immediately understanding and knowing what it was, as it was a gaze she was familiar with as she did herself for Tippy's Dad, whoever that is if it's not Spiketail Leader which it should realistically when you know the fonction of a leader similar to the alpha of a pack of male and female lions, only him was able to breed all the females, polygamy at it's finest here which I am completely not okay with, not even one bit"

Tippy's Mom: "Something you're seeing more of your fancy than green food Ailta?" she asked her with a face telling her I know what's happening here, you're gaga crazy for Spike.

Writer: "Unfortunately for Spike it was only the beginning of his problem with Ailta, as she will be a prehistoric leech"

Writer: "I can't believe there's still so much and yet so little at the same time in this part of the story, but I'm going to stop it there on a funny scene, you'll understand what I meant by that soon enough, in a week or so depending"

How the rest of this day and possibly next day will unfold as Littlefoot, Cera, Petrie, Spike, Chomper and Feu now knows their new objective, the second part of their mission being clear? The 'hunt' for Red Claw has been planned, found out about this rest of day in the next chapter of the Pendulum of Time.
